Review The Kodiak Club - Fitzroy

Daniel Fitzsimmons
The Kodiak Club upstairs has a view over Brunswick Street and a South American theme with beautiful sombreros hanging from the ceiling. The space easily catered for around 50 of our guests with our own private bar and bartender included with the tab. The food we ordered was delivered just at the right time and the jalenepo poppers were a smash hit! Sangria and Margaritas expertly made. Thanks to Leah for helping us with the booking and also Claire for assisting us on the night. There is a retainer on the room (just like any other reputable bar on Brunswick st) but it was well priced, the bar private and the service, atmosphere and food made it all great value. They have a late license meaning we could party into the wee hours of the morning. We had a ball!! Thanks guys keep up the good work!

Great bar, the cocktails were good, the service was great, and the atmosphere was inviting and warm. I had a couple of cocktails and my girlfriend had one, they were great, I would highly recommend this bar.

Went upstairs. Nice atmosphere. The cocktails are different and have a nice twist to them. The bar staff are friendly and warm. Price is reasonable for one of the better bars in Melbourne. Its worth a visit. Shout-out to Chelsea for making my evening all the more pleasant.

Stumbled on via Yelp, between the Google reviews and Yelp reviews I felt this place was worth checking out as I was in the area. Ordered the featured cocktail “Hits the Spot” and was very pleased with it, truly it did hit the spot. Based on the other reviews I decided to try the wings. Quite the other end of the spectrum. Ordered a half dozen of the Smokey BBQ wings and when they were finally brought out, the first one I picked up was (a wing) had two extreme temperature profiles...the wing end was cold and the meatier end was of what I would consider a sufficient eating temperature (hot but not extreme). I’m not sure how they could even get it to end up like that. Tried another one and every one of the wings was exactly the same. Wing end was cold (sometimes really cold) and the meatier end was sufficiently heated. Mentioned something to the bartender and while he supposedly went back to tell the kitchen, but I can’t be sure. As to the bourbon selection, I’ve been to a few other bourbon bars around town and I don’t think this place stands out for its selection. Overall, the drink I had was 5*, but the food and bourbon selection barely rates a 1*.

This bar has quickly become one of our favorites in the neighborhood! Great cocktail bar vibe without feeling pretentious. Love their American/Canadian inspired menu and I've always been really happy with their wings and ranch. They also have a great happy hour of $5 house beer and wine Thursday to Sunday 6-9pm. Look forward to checking out their "hidden" tequila bar Little Blood upstairs next time we're there.

Popped in with a mate to try some Authentic North American food. Unfortunately they didn't have any burgers, onion rings or mac & cheese croquettes which for a Saturday night I found strange. The wings were good except you only get 4 tiny little celery sticks to dip into the blue cheese sauce. Not many tap beers other than Atomic and even that wasn't very cold or satisfying There's definitely better places to go
Detective Hip
Chicken wings were very disappointing. Drinks were overpriced.
Mike Barnes (Bremen Saki)
Great food, great vibe, comfy place to settle in for an evening.
Nicole
A great spot for a drink after a day out. A whiskey bar with some of the best wings in town matched with the perfect blends from both Canada and America. You cannot visit the Kodiak club without getting their famous hot wings, so leave a bit of room in the stomach because one you have them, you will be coming back for more!

Wow the poutine crinkles are the hero at Kodiak Club, they aren’t wrong when it say they’ll blow your mind. I paired it with the mushroom burger - so juicy and the ranch sauce was so good 😍

The ideal place to hit up when craving good American-style pub food without having the greasy, guilty feeling afterward. All the food was tasty and filling. Will be back on a Monday night next time to mop up the 50c wing deal!
Stephanie Leonard
Been here a few times for drinks and wings with my mates. Cool vibey venue with a great buzz, especially on a Friday. Great place for groups too, the bar has an extensive drinks and cocktail list as well as a cool American inspired menu that had cheeseburger spring rolls.
Hung Huynh
As my missus is from Canada, I tried looking for a place to take her that reminds her of home. Really loved the cocktails and wings. Definitely hit the spot. Can't wait to come back.

50c wings are a win on Mondays. They come in a set of half dozen, or dozen per serve.<br/><br/>The place is dimly lit, there were the options of BBQ, Buffalo wings with ranch, or blue cheese sauce<br/><br/>#cheapeats #monday #fitzroy

Awesome place for knock-off drinks on a Friday night! I came here with a few friends last week and really liked it. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and a huge variety of drinks! We got to try the typical Canadian Caesar and it was really good! <br/>Also liked their food, Nachos and Dogs were pretty good! Looking forward to coming back here again!

If you love fried chicken then you will LOVE the Kodiak club! The BEST chicken wings in Melbourne and one a cocktail list that will blow you away! Do it and do it now!
Melbourne.Food
If you're a fan of North American style bars this is it! These guys have the biggest selection of American and Canadian drinks and culture inspired drinks like the The Big Red cocktail named after the Big Red gum. Food is great here too! Their wings, Poutine fries and jam donuts are one for the win! The minion approves!
Maria Condello
Came here for drinks with my husband and we were both pleasantly surprised. Really cool atmosphere on a Friday night, place was busy but the bartenders were still pretty quick. We both enjoyed our drinks, especially the twist on a 'Bloody Mary', the "Caesar" which had a nice kick with the hot sauce. <br/><br/>We saw lots of food coming out of the kitchen, which looked great. Will definitely be coming back for dinner next time.
Food Josh
This is the place to be for specialty cocktails, and for the wings!<br/>The American S'mores Summer Camp is delicious both to the eyes and to the mouth. They go as far as to blow torch a marshmallow for the garnish!<br/><br/>We paired this with some of their famous wings and they certainly did not disappoint!
@foodtom
After hearing about the chicken wings and cocktails, I knew this was a place I needed to visit ASAP. Came with some friends who were keen to get our pre-drinks and feed in before hitting the town and we weren't disappointed. Prompt service with great wings, and to top it off the drinks were ace. Top place.
Spartacus
On their menu, this is a "half dozen" buffalo wings. Please help me do the math and tell me how to count. Because no matter how I count, it's THREE wings, not six. They taste okay, but I feel cheated. Cocktails have long descriptions on the menu, but they were below average, and you get more ice than drink..
Burgers Of Melbourne
The menu is basically PERFECT and they have the BEST chicken wings in town! Burgers, Fried Chicken, Burger Spring Rolls, Chicken Nuggets, Fried Pickles, Corn - everything you could ask for from an American style venue. Simply awesome!
Tinmans Treats
We came here on a rainy Tuesday night with some friends after a food event that hardly had any food = we was hungry.<br/><br/>Intimate venue, there was a trivia night taking place. Very serious players and deep thinking to be had. Dark and cosy, its a good place for a tinder meet up and you need mood lighting to work for you.<br/><br/>The food itself was pretty good. The chicken burger was a standout and we enjoyed the fries.<br/><br/>Would it be on my forefront to go here? Maybe not, but if I was within walking distance and i needed a drink and a good feed, I'd definitely would stop by here.
Split The Bill
Came in for a quick catch up with a couple of friends. We used the Eat Club app and were pleased to find this cosy little pub hosting trivia night.<br/><br/>We shared the Kodiak burger, the chicken & slaw burger with fries which was yummy...but my favourite meal was the chicken nugget  (can't remember the name) they were so delicious and crunchy.<br/><br/>Along with a glass and red and G&T on a cold winters night with attentive service I will be back!<br/>

Kodiak is awesome! Fabulous food, super service, awesome atmosphere! A wonderful place to have a catch up with friends or take somebody special!

10pm on Saturday night - just got charged $36 for 3 bottles of local beer by a generally surly barman. About 10 amazing bars within a 5 minute walk, I suggest you go to any of them and avoid Kodiak.
Jess Strauss
Came here last night with some friends. The food was so full of flavour and just simply delicious. The staff were very lovely and very welcoming! Will come back here again!
Blec Gacs
The best buffalo wings by far. Perfect place for weekend catch-ups or romantic date because of the dim lighting. Overall, amazing food and ambience.
EatBeHappy
No need to carry hot sauce in your pocket!!<br/><br/>The wings here are finger licking good!<br/><br/>I have not been able to find wings all over melbourne as good as yours!! Not too mention the beautiful decor of the place
KnowingMelbourne
I was taken here on the promise that the chicken wings were the best in Melbourne. The spiciness was good (definitely packed a punch) but they weren't tender. I hate chewy wings and that's what these were. Good selection of drinks and cocktails though.
A.vanderzeil
I got heinous gastro after eating here last year. I called to let them know what had happened and they didn't even call me back to apologise. Never again.

Therse burgers are amazing! We ordered them through Uber Eats and were very pleased with what we got. We also had the jalapeños and chicken wings... yummy! I definitely recommend this place.

I booked online for a table of 12 for a sunday night and when we got there the staff seemed annoyed that such a big group walked in, despite booking more than 24 hrs ahead. There was no table set up or anything. When it was time to order the staff were not interested and quite rude. I asked to have the burger with no meat (im vegetatian and there is next to no vegetarian options except a $10 piece of corn?) He scoffed at my request and refused to do it. When my boyfriend explained that i was going to buy the mac and cheese balls and put it inside the burger they were more than happy to do that for me which i didnt expect from the previous reaction. When it came time to order drinks, i tried to order two different drinks and both were unavailable. Seems weird for a bar to be out of a certain drink over a long weekend when you know you're probably going to be busy. Most of our meals came out relatively quickly for such a big table, but others on the table had to wait some time. My burger was good but pretty small and the buns were really dry/hard. A few of the other guys said the same thing but most of them said they enjoyed their wings, but not the best in melbourne. Wouldn't come back honestly.
Broni Lisle
This place has really declined. <br/>Used to be my favourite bar in Melbourne. <br/>Now the wings are no longer remarkable. The burger is dry and tasteless. <br/>I used to recommend this place to everyone. Now I'll probably avoid myself. I'm not surprised it wasn't busy at 9:30 on a Saturday night. What happened here?
Niki
I have never eaten here but I've tried a large selection of the drinks and I'm highly impressed. I highly recommend the Betty White drink- raspberry, mint, vodka and ginger ale- it was delicious

I think unnecessary change is the term to use here. This truly used to be one of my favourite bars in Melbourne, due to its incredible wings, awesome staff, and a chilled out relaxed vibe that any venue would die for. The new owners have taken most of that away. A quiet Monday night should be an opportunity to make friends with your guests and have a bit of a good time. We received next to no greeting at all, and nobody said anything to us for the rest of our stay. 50c wings were the draw card here, and while the value was awesome, the standard of the wings has dropped to a forgettable level. Cost cutting has removed the flavour they were once famous for. We had no celery sticks, despite being advertised in the menu, and our (apparently) blue cheese dressing was served in tiny little plastic shot glasses smaller than the wings themselves so we had to pour the sauce on, rather than dip.<br/>It now feels like a generic boring cafe. The walls are bare. The booths are gone. The music doesn't fit the venue in the slightest. I love Frank Ocean. But he's not right for a bourbon bar. And goddamn, turn it down. There were like 10 people in the whole venue. It doesn't need to be that loud. My girlfriend and I were having to yell at each other.<br/><br/>It's lost its soul. It's just a boring old sub standard bar, now. Why did you change so much about something that was so good? Why change Melbourne's most famous buffalo wings?<br/><br/>And clean the damn bathrooms. It's Monday night, and they were atrocious.
Matthew Youssef
Love the wings here. I keep coming back and when I am away from them I crave them. And the Strawberry fields cocktail is awesome. Make sure u get the loaded fries with the wings.

I was here for drinks and was attending a function. The staff was so warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I had a mocktail made up and asked the bartender for his suggestion as I didn't feel like anything on the menu. I told him what flavours I liked and he made me one of the best mocktails I've had in a very long time. My colleague who was with me saw what I ordered and wanted the same thing. The mocktail was made with love, patience and tasted amazing. <br/><br/>I will be back for food next time ... I heard the chicken wings is a stand out here!
Melbourne Food
The chicken wings here are amazing! The chilli cheese fries were just ok (the cheese used seemed a bit cheap). This is a really nice place for a drink, a nice cosy bar
Branch Bacardi
Cool little bar with a great range of American beers, whiskey and bourbon. We always have a dozen Buffalo wings when we visit and they always go down well. Music is cool, decor is unique and the seating is comfortable. It is a a great cozy getaway from the cold during the winter months. Problem is if you stay too long you will cause major damage to your bank balance as this place is a bit expensive.
She Eats And Eats
Absolutely love the wings here. Seriously, if there is one thing to go for on the menu, it is definitely the wings!!! <br/>Also, the cheesy deep fried mac and cheese balls were simply divine. Washed all of that wonderfulness down with a perfectly paired beer. Perfection 👌🏼
MelbfoodCritic
Great ambiance reminds me of New York bars. Seating nice & clean comfortable. Waffle with chicken & chicken wings are must tries!!! Staff nice & friendly. Huge selection of spirits you can sip in nice funky ambiance! I would give 4.5* for this establishment!
Spudsmcduck
I absolutely adore the Kodiak Club. I've been coming here regularly for about three years or so and it is without a doubt my favourite bar in Melbourne, with delicious food and a great atmosphere. The 'beaver tail' cocktail they have at the moment is so damn good, and nothing beats Kodiak's buffalo wings and Mac and cheese balls.
Justin McRae
Great location, a favourite place to visit with friends. Wholesome, honest food and interesting drinks menu.<br/>Buffalo wings are a treat, but everything on the menu is good!
Benjamin Mior
The food is good and the staff are friendly and have a good time with their customers. Except the ugly troll behind the bar with the fake Chanel earrings. I'd like to say she didn't piss some of the guys but she's so dam rude! I would still recommend for a few beers and some burgers! :)
T Loves Food
Delicious buffalo wings! Best ones I've had in Melbourne, and I've looked everywhere. My dining companion had a Caesar, which is the Canadian equivalent to a Bloody Mary... But with clamato juice - that's tomato and clam juice. Try it if you're feeling game!
George
The food is sensational. I don't drink so I can't tell you about the drinks but the food is unbelievable. I haven't had wings like these outside of America. The ribs was great and the burgers are up there with the best. Even the chips are fantastic! Prices are great for the quality of food too. Chef and staff should be congratulated.

Great place to check out for drinks on the weekend. During the weekdays it's a bit slow. Good drink menu and of course a great whiskey selection. Their $10 cocktail menu is spot on for what you get.
Juicy Jay
Great venue and ambiance, it was actually unexpectedly romantic! Food was delicious and really well priced. Had the buffalo wings, burger, ribs and jalapeño bottle caps, all delicious with the buffalo wings and ribs being the stand out, exciting flavours and the ribs were falling off the bone and just melt in your mouth. Service was very relaxed and efficient with a great selection of beers. Will definitely be back!
Beccy's Adventures
Such a feel good, funky place. Casual atmosphere with friendly floor and bar staff. They make a mean vodka lime and soda. Definitely an inner city spot to check out.
I Am Cheng
Had a plate of their famous buffalo wings and few jug of beer. The service is good, but the flavour of buffalo wing too acidity. Toooo Sour~~! Btw. In average still good.

Arrived at 630 on Saturday night. We were able to grab a comfy booth. We ordered the fried mac and cheese balls, onion rings, jalapeño bites, fried pickles and a dozen buffalo wings. Everything was out of this world good. Not to mention the really great cocktails and super friendly staff. Place overall had a nice vibe. The only thing disappointing was the flan we had for desert the caramel sauce was burnt. Overall the food prices are great but the drinks slightly on the expensive side, if they had a $12 house cocktail this place would be THE BEST.. But for the taste of the things we did get its worth it and a 5 star for sure.
Samuel Ryan
Wings wings wings wings wings. I ate wings here. They were spicy and delicious. The hot<br/>Sauce made for even more fun. The beer list is filled with IPAs from all over the place and I can definitely recommend the 'smoke ipa'. It tastes like bacon. A+++
Peter Bennett
The food we had was good. What I meant by that is that we only got half the food we ordered and people who ordered much later than us got their food first. I don't know whether there was something wrong with the kitchen or the staff that night but having half a table waiting and going hungry is not a good sign. Drinks were great but I probably won't be back anytime soon.

After coming from a tasting session with master distiller Jimmy Russell of Wild Turkey, I was looking for a place to continue my already great afternoon of whiskey tasting. As we entered, we were warmly welcomed by Cameron and it was immediately apparent that he was just as passionate about whiskey as my wife and I were. I had never tasted most of these whiskeys that I have only heard of so I left it up to Cameron to take us on a journey of whiskey. To say I was impressed with his knowledge, passion and pride is an understatement. So having spent some hours there I would happily recommend The Kodiak to any whiskey lover. I look forward to returning to Melbourne soon and being impressed even further. Thanks guys for an awesome experience.

Great place ......check out the bar wall to wall. Ducked in here prior to dinner for a drink and was not disappointed. Good range of imported beers and if you like bourbon this is the place for you!!
Don'tMessWithMyFood
Nice ambience. Not too crowded on a Thursday night. Mac and cheese balls were amazing! Jalapeño was done well. Good place to catch up with mates and not be rushed out.
The City Lane
Worth a visit simply for the fact that it sells food into the early hours of the morning, including some of Melbourne's best Poutine, the Kodiak cub is Canadian mountain themed bar that serves decent food and an impressive range of craft beers and whiskeys. <br/><br/>The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the place always has a good atmosphere about it. One of my favourites in this part of town.
Cecilyhearn
Unpleasant atmosphere. After being squeezed through the tiny walkway, I was met with "can you please move out of the way, I am carrying some cheap fried food & you're an inconvenience". The wait staff obviously being forced to deal with disorganised & inefficient processes were not able to deliver adequate customer service. However this is all part of going out, the unacceptable aspect was listening to bad Jay-Z at unhealthy decibels. I couldn't hear myself think, let alone the friend sitting next to me.
Iceman
I enjoyed the ambience of the Kodiak Club, but found it to be quite overpriced which detracted heavily from the experience :(
HungryHippo
Do yourself a favour. Try this place!

It’s really that simple. Eat 60 Buffalo Wings in 60 minutes at The Kodiak Club  on Brunswick Street in Fitzroy and you get your name on the wall and the honour of NOT paying $90… Fail and you’ve just eaten a whop load of chickens and your hip pocket is a fair bit lighter. Super confident, super naive! I have to say I went into this challenge really quite confident, having knocked over 1.3 kgs of pork schnitzel , I knew that 60 chicken wings wouldn’t have the same volume of food to contend with AND I had the luxury of an extra 15 minutes to do it in!
Burger Night Melbourne
It was time to hit up another hipster fueled location –  “The Kodiak Club”  in Fitzroy. Group Text: “My mouth has been watering since our last burgracious meal and now I’m getting withdrawals, so much so that I did lines of beef last night! Kodiak Club is our next fix, so prep those buds for burgisfaction this Thursday. The Burger… “The Kodiak Burger” – why not! Looks pretty burgerlish right! Well your correct, it was certainly a nice burger and the sides complimented it well, but it wasn’t something you would bring home to your parents!
Kit And Kafoodle
...Popcorn Chicken ($10) was quite tasty and bite sized morsels are always a hit with me. The honey-mustard sauce really complimented the fried chicken and our only complaint was there wasn’t enough!
Thechickenscene
So it was with high expectations that we set out for the Kodiak Club. Where Grizzly’s go to unwind with a good cocktail. Kodiak Club sits on bustling Brunswick St in Fitzroy and is named for the iconic Alaskan Grizzly bear, which are known to enjoy a good chunk of fatty meat, but they are not nearly so picky about the breading  as we are. A quick perusal of the American comfort food inspired menu (where is the Mac n Cheese? The Chick wondered) concluded with the following order: Jalapeño Bottlecaps, 3 Deviled Eggs, a half dozen of the Kodiak’s famous buffalo wings, a Kodiak burger, and an order of Chicken and Waffles. The Kodiak also boasts a

A great spot for a few drinks and some awesome bar snacks. All was reasonably priced

JW said this places heaves on the weekends, which is good because they have such an amazing collection of American beers and bourbon and I can only imagine the atmosphere when this place gets busy. The burgers, as you would expect, were equally amazing. 2 grass fed beef patties with American (didn’t say what, i’ll say Jack) Cheese, pickle, onion and a bourbon mayo. The sauce was just enough to give you a whiff, but you can add additional if you wish. We found no need, but did give it a healthy dose of chilli sauce. As an aside, I don’t b
Hide And Seek
The American-style hospitality continues in the kitchen, which serves up buffalo wings, pork crackling and Marry Me Marge onion rings. The main bar is intimate without being tiny and there’s a function room for hire. Friendly, knowledgeable staff provide the perfect finishing touch to this homely venue.<br/>

It’s very much your typical greasy/salty/carby stuff that goes with beer; the stuff that they like to call ‘dude food’ on Masterchef.
LKH
Overall, I won’t be rushing back to the Kodiak Club. Sure, if I found myself on Brunswick St, a few cocktails to the wind with a hankering for some fried food at least I’d know where to get some decent wings. Unfortunately though, with the combination of the deep heat cocktail, the menu which may as well have been deep fried itself and the bartender who didn’t seem to like bar tending, Canadian was not, for us, as glorious as its national anthem might suggest.
Stevem05
And when I left, I vowed that I'd be back, To taste the ribs, and crackling (as a snack)
Theycallmemaggie
A few friends who have had the privilege to visit America AND try buffalo wings over there will swear up and down that the wings served at TKC come close to the real deal.
BurgerLover
Delicious affordable food. Was gobsmacked at how cheap everything was. We were expecting mediocre meals.. but were pleasantly surprised with the presentation and how quickly everything was bought out. the buffalo wings were amazing, and mac and cheese balls were to die for... the chips were also beyond amazing. Really great food, will be back again for sure.

Best "bloody Mary" ever!. I came here on Monday night and the Kodiak Ceasar was an incredible take on the bloody Mary. I am a fiend for salt, chilli and lemon, and this drink ticked all boxes! Salty, savoury, sour and spicy, knocked my socks off!
Oz SituAsian
Overpriced. We ordered the fried chicken and waffles with extra drumstick ($17) and the Kodiak burger. Was looking forward to the meal because there was a buzzing vibe and the punters seemed happy. When our meals hit our table, we were disappointed at the size of the portions. My wife is a big fried chicken and waffle fan from our time in the States but was disappointed with the quality of Kodiak's rendition First, the chicken and waffle was drizzled in some kind of lurid, crimson sweet sauce. It wasn't maple syrup (which is golden brown) and sort of tasted like raspberry jam. Second, the chicken didn't have a crispy coating which is a massive fail. At least the chicken wasn't dry. Finally, the waffles weren't fluffy but that is pretty typical in Melbourne. The Kodiak burger was fine but was a stingy size for $17. I think I finished it in five bites. I liked the mustard sauce but My wife felt the pattie was a bit dry. The accompanying fries were pretty good. But considering you could get a pretty decent burger for $10 at Smith St, to charge an extra $7 for fries was excessive. And don't tell me you pay extra for the service. Service was fine enough, but you are essentially in a pub and you have to fight for attention at the bar to get any service. So, in summary, not impressed with the value for money at this place. Much better American themed restaurants in Melbourne. You should do what Americans do when they see a real Kodiak bear - run!
Zo Lyle
Friendly mature service, Gr.... Friendly mature service,<br/>Great view of the street, no morons in sight. Reasonable prices. Great beer range. Winning.
Scott.rayburg
Wings to die for. As an expat Buffalonian and wing connoisseur I can attest that these are, hands down, the best wings I have EVER had outside of Buffalo. Go to the Kodiak Club now and save yourself the airfare to get an authentic Buffalo Wing experience.
Simonjames
Not great. American style food without american style hospitality.... Burgers had well overcooked patties and were super greasy... No condiments in sight (not even salt and pepper) They attempted to charge $1 for a tiny bowl of ketchup with our fries... not happy, stinginess is not cool or american.
Grant Baker
Rude staff, wings bland.
Dancing Around The World
Slow service and understaffed for a Friday night (pre-8pm). Awesome hot wings, yummy burger and AMAZING Caesar! Best I've had in Australia. They have Clamato people!!! Will be back for the drinks. Oh- hubby loved the "stone fence" Kodiak Clasaic cocktail too. Happy to recommend on the whole.
Thomasdwyer
Great bar!. Best wings (arguably in the world!!) Great bar and vibe. MY oh my those wings are good!!
World In A Bite
The food is so so... I only the admosphere.
Marykiri
Best burger EVER. Yum... The kodiak burger is just the best! Delicious pickles and mayo bourbon put it over the top - seriously a must try. The fried green tomatoes, jalapeno bottlecaps an incredibly crispy french fries are equally impressive. Simple menu done beautifully Love it - sort of pricey but worth it!!
Shunky
BURGER. Best thing I've ever put in my face.

Could have been much better: We arrived Saturday night and our group was promptly seated at a booth. After waiting 20+ minutes with no attention from any staff we ordered our drinks from the bar. Shots were large enough to nearly wet the bottom of the glass they were served in. The good selection of bourbons available meant it had great potential but that potential has yet to be realized due to complete absence of service.
Joy.wang90
Cool place, will be back. Came here for the first time last night - had one of the best whiskey old fashioned that i have ever had :) They also do really spont on food (prepared to be unhealthy!!!), we had buffalo wings, and chips covered in gravy/bacon/cheese. I feel guilty typing this out but it was so good. also, points for very charismatic and knowledgeable bar staff!
Preston Starr
The food and service are great. Don't be mistaken - this is 'treat food' as most items are battered and/or fried but they are delicious.<br/><br/>Grab a couple of drinks and enjoy some incredible chicken wings and try the bottle caps! <br/><br/>Would I return? Yes. For the chicken wings, bottle caps and a CC and Dry! And then head straight to the gym...!
Herb
Good American style food. Their burger is my favourite around town. Also rate the onion rings & chicken wings. Haven't had a bad meal there yet.

Rye, oh rye.... This cosy, aptly decorated little bar ticks all the boxes. The staff were welcoming on arrival & know their tipple. If you didn't already know they specialise in bourbon / whiskey which feature extensively in the drinks menu, but are supplemented by some limited choices of cider/beer & wine. The Cairo cocktail was delicious. <br/>The food is a nod to the drink & decor and incredibly tasty. The jalapeño bottle caps are a must! Creamy, crispy with a bit of bite. The burger was juicy, held well and you could taste the sweetness of the bourbon mayo. Unfortunately, they were out of the cobb salad, Johnny cakes (and on a previous occasion, the dessert) and I hope this isn't a regular thing! But they were polite in apologising & offering a refund. <br/>I'd come back in a heart beat - this place has got so much going for it. You could literally stay all night. (Just FYI - no bookings for less than 6 people - but come early & grab a comfy booth)!
Kiwi Girl
After being super excited to visit knowing the wings were something to get around, I can say, I would have zero reason to go back, and def would not rec. to friends. Either the staff hate their jobs or are unhappy people - not ONE smile did I get in the two hours I was there (certainly didn't leave a tip then!). It took 50mins for our first item to come out (we got there at 5pm, there were two other tables, neither of which got food).....it was a grilled cheese sandwich! Nicely done - little did we know it was to become the stand out dish!!!! Twenty minutes later, a burger came out (bf said it was good), no sauce for the fries with the burger...when I asked, I was told it would be an extra dollar! Are you kidding me (it tastes like tomato paste - don't buy it people, bring some maccas sachets you get for free!)! Five after that the green fried onions came - don't. The sauce that comes with doesn't match the flavor after the soggy, greasy batter comes off the soggy gooey tomato.....and there was nothing offered to eat this with but my fingers. The wings finally came, were good, not great - but here's the kicker, the small bowl of over creamy blue cheese sauce us never going the distance - so I had to buy another bowl for a dollar. All of this combined with vintage tunes up front blasted over by the pumpin tunes coming out if the kitchen, I found Kodiak to be a confused unhappy place.
Tomphy
I don't know what people are fuss about the wings you probably can get better from Costco its laded with salt woopdee!!!
Jarryd
Great atmosphere and very cosy for groups and parties. The menu is more oriented to finger food or small meals - but this does not mean the quality is compromised. Delicious, fresh and enticing dishes are served by the quirky and friendly staff. Would recommend the restaurant to anyone heading up for a bite a few drinks and an overall fun experience!
Van Skittles
Awesome place. Great customer service, nice vibe. The double burger is a winner.

This is pretty much the best place ever. If my face is covered in kodiak buffalo wing sauce I'm the happiest I can be, and I don't care who knows it. So eat, drink and be merry!
Nicole Raynal
Great place. I called on Friday to book a table for that night and the owner was extremely helpful. Love a place that allows bookings. The buffalo wings are tangy, juicy and delicious. The double burger was a knockout - cooked medium rare and packed with flavour. The drinks list is extensive and interesting and the ambiance is classy and comfortable. Loved the music!
Daniel
Amazing. Shattered onion, buffalo wings and double beef patty burger all amazing. The bourbon range is extensive and the bar-tenders really know their stuff, very impressive. Tequila bar upstairs for a bit of something different.<br/><br/>Will be back, I think this place needs to become my local.
David
Excellent buffalo wings. That is all... Haven't had better in Melbourne. And great bourbon.

Eat it quick.... My friend and I shared the burger and buffalo wings and they tasted great! Had no problems with the food at all. The chips were nice and crunchy on the outside and so soft and fluffy on the inside. The burger was really tasty and I loved the mayo. The buffalo wings had a great heat to them and were lovely and tender.<br/>My only problem was one of the staff members kept taking our stuff before we were finished. He took my drink that still had more than a 1/4 left (maybe it was so dark in there he couldn't tell but he didn't ask). He basically ran by so quickly I didn't even have time to tell him. No problem with the other staff members. They were friendly and welcoming.
Sarah
Best hot wings!. The staff know their booze, especially bourbons, whiskey and scotch. The best hot wings ever, and try the burger too. Shattered they took the onion rings off the menu - they were amazing.
Trashglam
The Burbon was great. As were the Martinis. Teehee hee

Impressed. I had my birthday drinks here in June, I emailed to reserve a section or large table and I was more than impressed with the space, service and quality when I arrived. The drinks menu was explained with such detail and the boys loved the Burbon tasting plates. I highly recomend if your looking for somewhere nice, classy and a little bit different.
Culinary Sherpa
Bourbon & Burgers. Not just any old drink and snack. This bar is all about the quality. Take the time to drop in for a drink and try the food you won't be disapointed.
Luke Young
The best hot wings you will eat!
AmericanOz
Drink whiskey and eat chicken wings!!! Then go up stairs and get rowdy on some tequila shots :) 'Mercia!
Dave Bern
Chicken and waffles! What more need I say? A ballsy place with an irreverent attitude, some of the staff are pretty hip but none take themselves too seriously. Jalapeño bottle caps and a michelada are a match made in heaven.
Magicfiretruck
A warm and inviting little bar that serves good honest American fare. Dim light and a perfect night out for some quiet drinks with friends. Highly recommend the buffalo wings and any one of the bourbons on the menu.

Tasty food, tiny portions. I went a few weeks ago (5/12/2013) with some friends and we ordered a starter and a few mains. Most of our food (bottlecaps, pork sandwich, burger) was tasty and satisfying, but the chilli con carne arrived in a ramekin that probably would have held as much as a teacup. Given the two huge slabs of meat in the pork sandwich, we were surprised they would skimp so much when it came to beans & beef. So much for being "the perfect thing to fill you up" as the menu claims.
SteveCobalt
Good Stuff. Thoroughly enjoyed the food, drinks and atmosphere. I drank a bunch of cocktails, loved the touch of serving beer in red plastic cups (american college style) and the food was great.<br/><br/>Chicken wings, chilli con carne, devilled eggs and toasted cheese sandwich were all delicious....im getting hungry again just thinking about it.
JT
Booooo!!!!. Took a few friends here last week. It wasn't busy but 30 minutes later standing at the bar the super hipster bartender still hadn't served us drinks because he was talking to his hipster mates. <br/><br/>It wasn't just that weren't being served. It was that we were being throughly ignored as if we weren't cool enough to be there.<br/><br/>Fair enough I'm not a hipster by any stretch of the imagination but I'm no bogan either. I earn a decent wage but will not be making the mistake of attempting to spend any of it here ever again!
R M
Niche little bar, great bourbon selection but the Kodiak burger is worth the trip all on its own
Sueenda.obrien
Everything about this place is great, the amazing cocktails, the delicious food (the chicken wings are unreal!) the atmosphere, the super friendly staff. I literally cannot say enough good things about this bar, will definitely keep coming back!
Rob Wass
Absolutely fantastic! This is the best bar/restaraunt I have ever been to, period. The food had a truly authentic American flare and the drinks were superb, not to mention cheap! 3 starters, 4 mains and enough drinks to forget how many we bought only cost $234 and the informative and friendly barstaff were always there to lend a story and a smile. Move over 5 star, this place deserves 6!

Worst burger ever. OK so I wanted to try this one for a long time. I thought we would get some home made American food. The wings were good, although not crispy enough. The beer was a short but nice selection (although I could find Acme, Sierra Nevada and Brooklyn pretty much anywhere in Australia, so it wasn't that original). Don't come for the beer, it's mostly about bourbon. Very good choices there, but very very steep prices... <br/><br/>Now for the worst part : the burger. I could have got a better burger at Hungry Jack, and I'm not even kidding... The beef patties were so thin I thought I was at McDonald's, this was pathetic, and of course they were over cooked... This is supposed to be American food, and you can't even ask to have your burger cooked rare or medium rare. Instead you get 2 paper thin patties, tasteless cheese, tasteless mayo which is supposed to be their "awesome bourbon mayo"... This is seriously disappointing. The place was half empty and my guess is that was because of the prices and the bad food. If they don't serve REAL home made American food and fast, they'll be closed in less than a year... Don't trust the high UrbanSpoon score this bar gets, it's mostly based on drinks, not food.
Loxy2013
Great bar. Very well mixed cocktails, a great beer selection & a bourbon list that rocks.<br/>Haven't tried much of the food but the buffalo wings are awesome.
Dane
Best cocktails we've ever had!. Awesome drinks, well crafted. Good vibes and Mexican bar upstairs. Winning!
Nicole Yakimov
I don't care how cool you think you are..... A couple of months ago when we went out for dinner to a venue that had rave reviews, a less than average experience was most surprising and disappointing. Informed by the typical Brunswick St Hipster waitress, that a slight case of intoxication, (which like an outbreak of plague) had rendered the staff incapable of serving the full menu. In fact, the kitchen staff who were seemingly so taken by this illness, were only able to produce two items: Fries and Chicken Wings.<br/>The giggly hipster waitress informed us, in what could have only been her apology for lack lustre service, that the illness which had rendered the staff incapable of doing their jobs started at a Bar Trade Show earlier that day, but assured us that on our next visit the full menu would be available. Most perplexing, was since when does a chef need to attend a Bar Trade Show? <br/>I was shocked that anyone would allow such frivolous behavior with their business and lively hood. Apparently “that’s how he rolls” and his local and loyal patrons shrug off such faux pas as hip and cool. As an industry professional, I won’t go back as urged to by Giggly Hipster Waitress.

A burger that bites back!. Wings or burger, wings or burger?! both! <br/><br/>this Kodiak burger is magically crafted, with each and every bite, the burger stands its ground and refuses to be forced into a sloppy mess. The patties are phenomenally flavoured, juicy...damn. The Wings...man the wings are probably the best buffalo wings I've had outside America.<br/><br/>the crew here are friendly as, and regularly check up and clear tables, the drink selection is awesome, the decor and ambience is great. This joint is a gem!
Rene Honey
The Kodiak Club is Melbourne's best kept secret by far!<br/><br/>The wings!!!! Who knew Buffallo wings could taste so authentic in Melbourne?!<br/><br/>Their simplified menu gives you a list of core meals and sides.<br/><br/>We had dinner for 4, we ordered almost everything in the menu, our bill came to less than $90!<br/><br/>It's an amazing atmosphere, dark wood, vintage deco... A bartender with the awesomest mustache ever!!!! Fantastic food, coupled with a very delicious Cherry Coke and you have a dining experiences, you"ll want to make a tradition!
A Chef
The wings!! The wings!! Especially after 1or ten awesome drinks and cocktails! Busy on weekend nights but relaxed and comfy during week .. I like!
Callmebwana
A Firm Favourite. I'm a semi-regular at the Kodiak, and with good reason too. The guys really have created a relaxed yet on the money atmosphere when it comes to their food and sensational drinks selection. As many have already mentioned, they do have the best wings in Melbourne. Every time I tuck into them, just takes me back to happy times while holidaying in the US, slathered in that glorious Frank's red hot wings sauce. Truly authentic.<br/>I really rate their burger too, far beyond Huxtable and the others that are doing the rounds at the moment.<br/>All in all, I wish this place was around 10 years ago, I would have been a bar fly there most nights of the week.
Anthony Cappadona
The bomb! Got the kodiak burger which was like a double quarter pounder but WAY better, and drinks menu is awesome, will be back
Kady
Buffalo wings and blue cheese sauce at its best!!!! The closest thing to the states here in Melbourne. Love the decor and atmosphere of the place, this will definately become a regular dining place amongst my friends and I. Can't wait to go back!
MIssyJ
Epic Meal time!. I love it when a place has a a strong vision and then executes it perfectly (and with a sense of humour) Kodiak has a great ambiance, and on a cold Melbourne night we could've stayed til closing. A range of bourbons to make a connoisseur weep with joy, and some really great cocktails... one of their own inventions is an old fashioned made with bacon infused bourbon and smoked maple syrup. It warmed me to the core!<br/><br/>Spicy buffalo wings were juicy with a real kick, onion rings that were a crispy batter over a slippery weet onion, and yes we had a bowl of pork crackling. Apple turnover with a bourbon caramel sauce - chunks of apple with a bit of bite inside a light fried pastry. NOM!
Greendoggiebag
Buffalo wings - best place to eat them. Best wings EVER.
Nature_girl
What a great little find and a new favorite spot - so lucky it's our local! Friendly unpretentious staff and a real mixed crowd of people enjoying themselves! I'm so pleased its a take off of an All-American bar, being an American-Aussie its a nice treat having the smell of Buffalo wings fill the air and being able to order mozzarella sticks and Grill cheese sandwich with Kraft cheese singles - a great place to have some after work drinks, meet friends and hang out or enjoy some American style snack food and of course the bourbon bar and selection it prides itself on. In all, love this place, super cool without having to try!
Bansheebeat
Cool cats club. This is one of the coolest places I've ever been to. The staff are great and highly knowledgeable and the atmosphere is amazing. Very cool, chilled people. Love it.
Maria Vanessa
Friday night - busy, it's not a very big place so had to wait for a table to eat. But staff were very friendly and food was worth the wait! Best burger i've had so far in Melb and the wings were delish. Bourbon range, intense:)
Erica Belli
Awesome food. Been twice now and highly recommend this venue. Proper American style food, the buffalo wings with franks hot sauce is a mouth watering experience. Will be back again definitely! Thank u
Ollie Amo
Great ambiance and service and great drinks. Food is tasty but really salty - we ordered brisket, buffalo wings and corn chips with guacamole.
Carlo
If you like Buffalo Wings, then this place is for yoU!. Nestled in the heart of Brunswick St is this Gem of an American Diner style Bar - With a twist! From the facade, it looks like a typical Fitzroy bar, but the friendly wait staff and Brooklyn Brew in conjunction with the amazing menu make this place unforgettable. If you LOVE American food, then this has to be one of the top places in Melbourne to find it. <br/>Unlike other 'try-hard' American restaurants in Melbourne, Kodiak Club have retained the local trendy-ness and made it all about the food. A simple menu that packs a punch. No where in Melbourne would serve Pork Skin, let alone Mexican style! B. Wings were crispy juicy and flavoursome! Burger was sooooo good, reminded me of Holsteins Burger house in Vegas. Onions rings are how onions rings should be - And the corn dog snacks... Drools. If you wanna get loaded (in all meanings of the word) with Good ol' American food, give Captain America's, Soda Rock & Misty's Diner a miss - Head here now!
Nomnomnom
Had the onion rings, brisket and wings. Everything was great - the onion rings crispy on the outside, the brisket so tender and served with fantastic BBQ sauce and the wings the best I've tried in Melbourne (tasted just like NY!) great decor and really friendly staff who were happy to assist but weren't constantly approaching you. A great place to chill out with a few drinks and great food. Will definitely be back!
Julie
Great food. We were mainly looking for American-style food rather than drinks and were not disappointed. The wings and onion rings were delicious but the Kodiak burger was one of the best I've ever had. I love that they use red plastic cups too, it made me feel like I was back in America.
Dan
Not quite American, but still very good. Walking into The Kodiak Club, you'd be forgiven if you thought you were in the wrong place. Evoking images of the pacfic northwest it does not, save for a few antlers and other paraphenalia. The fitout is pure Fitzroy funk, down to the bar staff uniforms. <br/><br/>The owners have clearly tried hard though, serving draft beer out of red SOLO cups, which are an iconic frat party staple. It doesn't work visually though, with dim lighting, metro crowds, and frankly, given that they wash and reuse these cups, it just seems like they out of place.<br/><br/>That being said, there is a lot to like about this place, particularly the food. I had the Kodiak burger, and for once, I've found a burger worth remembering in Melbourne. Great, soft, sweet bun, perfect doneness, good pickles, the right cheese. The onion rings are also amazing. I would ask though that they provide fresh lettuce with the burger, as mine was limp. Still great taste. <br/><br/>Drinks were hit or miss, had the Brooklyn Ale, solid; but the texas highball needed sugar in the iced tea. Definately worth a return visit, just need to refine a bit here and there to be really excellent. And a neon sign wouldn't hurt.
Matt Nanno
I like to read reviews then go and check out places. Kodiak had three bad reviews. 1. Someone complaining about buffalo wings being boneless. This is not the case. 2. Some person complained bc it was closed. 3. One person was angry bc they tried to book a scoopon after it was expired. Grow up. So now let me get to the kodiak club. Great cocktails, great bourbon/whisky and great pub American Style food. This is what they do well. Great location and open til 3am you can't go wrong with this place.

Not Really a Restaurant. We bought a Living Social voucher for this place - rocked up and didn't get any grief about using it which is good. <br/><br/>They were sold out of burgers @ 7.30 pm which is disappointing - so we had to choose something else from the severely limited menu, seriously there are only like 4 different mains to choose from. <br/><br/>Worth mentioning at this point that the Kodiak Club is not a restaurant, they even point this out themselves on the menu, it's very much a bar that does some food also. The food is all very much bar food - salty, fatty and spicy. Also the place is so freaking dark I seriously could not see the food properly, being able to see what you are eating is important when eating something like ribs. By 8pm the place was packed and there were people standing right up against our table while we ate our dinner.<br/><br/>Another negative note was somehow they messed up one of our starters and substituted onion rings which were very salty. Cocktails were fine, but nothing to write home about.<br/><br/>Looking for somewhere to go for a drink? Then Kodiak is a fine choice, the buffalo wings are superb - the ribs delicious, just don't expect to be able to see what you are doing and don't expect a sit down meal.
Ken Lee
Great atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food. The buffalo wings and the onion rings were great. The one downside were the pork ribs, which needed more time to achieve the "fall-off-the-bone" status. Didn't get a chance to try the crackling because it was sold out. Still, very excited to come back again.
Belinda Wrathall
Highly recommended!. Excellent service, drinks and food. The staff seem to genuinely care and be passionate about their craft. <br/>Best Buffalo wings I've ever had! Ribs where melt in the mouth and the poutine was amazing! <br/>Our cocktails where made to perfection and we'll definitely be back.
Lauren
Delicious!. An amazingly great restaurant and bar. The extremely friendly staff were very helpful when my friend booked for her brithday with a small group. We sampled almost everything on the menu, the wings and the pork crackling are two of the most delicious dishes I have ever tried in my life! The burger and pork sandwich also honourable mentions. Red beer cups added a nice touch. I will definitely be back and can recommend highly to others.
Tracy Hilton
Exceptional. Bought one of those discount vouchers for this place on the basis they serve buffalo wings and they are my partners favourite food in all the world. We were not disappointed.<br/>While the style and ambience does not scream American bar (we were expecting neon bar signs and an electronic dart board) it is a really nice place with some cosy booths and the food is really great, not a huge menu but certainly hits the spot. The beef ribs and buffalo wings were sensational (in fact Buffalo wings were rated as possibly the best ever by partner). For a dose of pure evil indulge in the fried pork cracklin as well.<br/><br/>This will become a regular for us.
Sergio De Rango
Wanted to go there. Had a scoopon voucher which was expired by 1 week. I rang the Kodiak club to see whether they could help me out but I go the cold shoulder and was basically told bad luck. <br/><br/>I've done my dough, the party of 6 that was planning to go to the Kodiak tonight to spend a few hundred bucks and maybe become regulars is now finding somewhere else to go.<br/><br/>If this is indicative of the management of the club then it's probably a place to avoid.

Fantastic Menu All Around. World class bourbon selection and great staff. Also offer a rare imported mexican beer know as Tecate. If you're a yank missing some flavors of home this is your place.<br/><br/>The recently updated menu adds so many great items I've had to go back several times to try them all. The burger is great! the ribs are good, pulled pork sammy is great southern style with vinegar base sauce. The wings always steal the show, soooo good and would give any i've had across the U.S. a run for their money. <br/><br/>A comment to the people who are confused by the bones. <br/>As an American I can assure you that chicken wings have bones. They are the actual wings and legs (drumsticks) of the chicken. I don't understand how something could be called a wing without actually being a chicken wing (or leg). Without bones you simply have chicken nuggets with buffalo sauce. <br/><br/>Note, even the recently released McDonalds wings have bones and are chicken legs or wings.<br/><br/>With the exception of Hooters (who have fantastic wings and locations in all 50 states), Hawaii isn't really known for wings. Buffalo wings come from upstate New York in a town called Buffalo.
Chris Mantel
Buffalo Wings. Best I've Had in Australia. Nathan cooks them perfectly every time.<br/>will definatley be returning for more wings and rye and rootbeer floats soon!
Luke Kennedy
Kodaik gives me wings. Screw you red bull, when i need my wings i'm coming right back here. these are hands down the tastiest chicken wings i've had, the only downside was the blue cheese sauce for the celery which could do with a little more punch, but willing to forgive. like the terminator said when he left the philippines, i'll be back or i shall return or something like that, you get the gist. no wait .. macurthur..it was macarthur.
D-ka
Surprisingly good american stuff. Great whiskey selection!<br/><br/>delicious buffalo wings that will give those back home a run for their money. i don't know what a review about boneless wings down below was all about. also has beef jerky for bar snacks.<br/><br/>i heard these guys are gonna start serving pulled pork burgers soon. they already carry tecate; maybe also stock some pbr?
Odette
Can't wait to return!. I absolutely love the atmosphere of the Kodiak Club and am glad to have experienced it. I'm in Toronto now but keen to get back for a visit. They have a fantastic atmosphere, cool staff, and just about the only place I know that serves Caesars down under. Keep up the great work guys & dolls

Bloody Awesome. This place is exactly what Melbourne, let alone Fitzroy, has needed for a long time.<br/><br/>They have taken a very cold and uninviting place and turned it into a warm and comfortable bar with a great bourbon selection and the best of American cuisine.<br/><br/>That is, its not "beam and coke" but proper bourbon cocktails and great beers if you feel like something softer.<br/><br/>The food isnt of the McDonalds variety, but more the diner selection - and great. The buffalo wings with hot sauce were a particular treat.<br/><br/>The only things that could improve this place are an outdoors area and some live music. <br/><br/>A great place to start / end or spend an evening.
No_games
Not for Fitzroy. Music is far too loud to enjoy a conversation with your mates and the interior is uninviting.<br/><br/>The sort of place you walk into and walk right out again.<br/><br/>Doesn't really suit the part of town it's situated in.<br/>Too bad Ginger closed and this is what replaced it.
Urbanette
Interesting that a lot of the positive comments come from people who only have ONE review. Isn't it?
Tracemcc
Great G&Ts. Sounds obvious, but lotta places do BAD gin and tonic (not enough ice, stingy with lime, tonic is flat...etc). I actually asked them about it. The house gin is Plymouth, which is good start! Never thought I would comment on a G&T but it was noticeably well made. Loved the bar too, cool vibe, good music and staff were cool when I was there. Didn't try the food but will be back!!
Matt Payne
My new favorite place. A pure diamond in the rough. Fantastic selection of North American whiskey. Best wings in Melbourne. Excellent staff. <br/><br/>Get here before everyone else finds out how awesome it is...
Nathan Debritt
Buffalo Wings. Fan buffalo-tastic and the blue cheese sauce just like at home! Nailed it!
Jenn H
Hail Caesar!. I was SO excited to find that the Kodiak makes a wicked Caesar cocktail! The staff is so friendly, creative and knowledgeable. And the cheese platter is delicious. Thanks guys :)
Alecia
Cheese Plus. The Best cheese plate I have had in a long time. Just fantastic :) thanks guys

As an American native, must say grego is mistaken. Although boneless is my buffalo wing of choice, the most popular kind in the States are served with bones (and bleu cheese dressing). Very popular with the Monday night football set.<br/><br/>Went here for drinks and was excited to see real beef jerky, Reeses peanut butter cups and of course the wings on the menu (have yet to try). Friendly staff as well.
Mike B
Relaxed night at the Kodiak Club. There is a lot to like about the Kodiak Club - be it the friendly bar staff, comfortable seating or good range of food and drinks. The cocktail list is on the small size but focuses on quality, while the food is authentic Americana - from buffalo wings to french fries. The Kodiak Club is an easy choice to make on a crowded Brunswick Street.
Fitzy
Awesome!. Had the best time there! Food was great, service was great. Lots of fun...and Buffalo wings DO have bones and they were amazing. Being from North America I can honestly say they are the best I've had over this side of the world.
Kathy Glover
Best buffalo wings ever! And generous serves. Good choice of cocktails too. Am looking forward to becoming a regular.

Proudly touted as Melbourne's only specialty Bourbon Bar, the Kodiak Club finds its roots firmly grounded in North American culture.
Gastrology
Wonderfully different, the Snapping Caeser is the Kodiak Club’s take on the Classic Bloody Mary. The flavours are light, bright and clean with a slight kick from the American hot sauce.

There's a stretch of footpath on Brunswick Street Fitzroy which is getting more of a work out every day by the well-heeled thirsty as they make their way between Black Pearl and Little Creatures . It's only fitting then that at more or less the half-way m

Ok, so it was good, but I think they tried too hard.
