I like this place: a well priced lunch option for Gertrude Street. Lemongrass chicken on rice never fails to disappoint. Not a lot of seating options but fine for a quick bite.
One of my favourites for lunch when I’m working in the area. Not a big menu, but all the Asian dishes are so good. The lemongrass beef vermicelli salad($12) is my favourite! Service is fantastic & their coffee is usually spot on too 👌🏽
I've only ever had the chips from here (it's all my uni student budget will allow for) and my goodness they are good! I shouldn't say chips because they're actually fries but still, yum! Who would have thought a small Vietnamese cafe would be so good at making chips?!
Love to coffee here, and the home made cakes. Really nice cosy place. Very friendly. Great price too. I get tattooed next door. So i come in here on break. Make sure you try the lemongrass chicken in a sandwich or roll. So tasty.

Best pho in the area, great lunch option with really nice decor and friendly customer service. Nice to sit at the window and watch the sights of Gertrude St with delicious chicken pho.
This is the reason I joined zomato. My first review. This Pho rocks! Awesome place, friendly service. Cost $9. Cheap and cheerful Vietnamese food.
The prawn rice paper rolls are the best, I come here at least once a week to get them. Only $7.50 for 3, they are good quality, great size and always fresh. Staff are always friendly too
Auntie Mai's - Club sandwich & fries. Went here today with a friend for lunch. We both had club sandwiches and fries. It was a delicious meal. Great and reasonable meal deal for $9. Was so full!
Cosy place. Moroccan soup is a winner. Now I'll have to return to try the pumpkin soup too.
After a long drive into town to do a menial task, I was freezing & starving when I spotted a sign spouting "fresh soup" (or something to that effect). So, spotting a vacant car spot directly out the front, I parked & headed on in. I then spotted a board citing 'famous' rice paper rolls, so a decision was pending...the soup won! All I can say is Yum! Yum! Yum! It was exactly what I needed to ignite some p.m. motivation & the 2 women serving were both simply adorable; really friendly & polite. I assume one of them was Auntie Mai. There was something really warm & welcoming about the whole place, so I'll definitely be back to try those rice paper rolls, even without a menial task to tend to. Great little lunch spot & really good value.
I love this place!!! Most amazing homely pumpkin soup, lasagne and authentic Vietnamese cuisine! Will keep coming back

We had coffee. J (latte): Productivity took a sharp increase after a trip to our local Auntie... Auntie May. The coffee was a bit milky for my liking, but it was still quite a refreshing drop for this cool Friday afternoon.
A (latte +1 sugar): I liked this coffee. It was nice and smooth and exactly what I had missed whilst I was away. Somehow didn't taste like only one sugar, but let's be honest I like sugar so I don't mind. The cafe has a cute elephant painted on the wall and some cushions up the back, but I didn't sit on them so no review yet. Next time I will remember to try the chairs. I did sit on one wooden stool, it was okay but not amazingly comfortable. One of the cheapest coffees I've had in the area for a while.
K (latte): Price is spot on. We will come again.
Rice paper rolls a highlight - just make the sauce isn't too hot! Ouch
Great family food stop. Cool atmosphere, friendly staff, good sized meals at a reasonable price. .
I've been here for lunch twice in the last fortnight. I've had the club sandwich and the lasagna. Both were extremely good value for money and in quality too. Good homely cooking!
Cheap lunch deals, tasty food and (most importantly) great coffee!
