The first time I tried a Mr Burger burger I thought to myself "this is how I'm going to die", chowing down on some artery clogging burger and you know what? I seemed comfortable with such an outcome. This Brunswick Street store was the first of many I have since tried but you can't get over your first which is why for me this is my favourite of all their stores and trucks. To be fair the staff when I last visited weren't particularly a selling point as they seemed disinterested in the job at hand. Still built a nice greasy burger though. I've tried all carnivorous items on the menu and my favourite is the Mr Double. Shakes are good as well. I like to think of my visits here as my dirty little secret.
I ordered a Mr Double a few times through uber eats. Always a hit. This is one of the best burgers in tow, full of flavours, very juicy, great fries.
Burgers have nice flavour and recommend the “mr burger” one the most. However the restaurant itself feels cold and the toilet area is very bad.
I have only had the opportunity to eat there once, but i think its probably one of the best burgers ive had in australia. I think it could hold its own in the usa. Fries were good too.
Tasty sort of hipsterish burger chain in brunswick street. Mr Meat is my favourite whilst a little inconsistent at times it delivers on Brioche buns which I like. The Mr Burger is good aswell only real differences is the sauces and one has cooked onion and the other raw, Better option than souvlaki.
Mr Double was the burger of choice with double beef, double cheese, double bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle and the custom trucker sauce which left us with a duplex of flavours!
Overall a quality burger for a food truck chain, with delicious high grade patties that melt in your mouth, topped with amazing sauce, and tightly wrapped for instant consumption.
It's been awhile since my last Burger, so I thought 'may as well try the Mr Burger, located here'.
I've tried them in the food truck days and the outlet across from the Vic Market.
Now that they've become quite a burger behemoth, I thought that the quality would be compromised, but nope.
Still an over-all, well-crafted burger from the same simple menu.
Burger 101.
The burgers here tonight were very good, only criticism was that they seriously lacked seasoning. We had the ranch fries as well; same story. Please put a little more salt on the food and it'll be a lot better! Otherwise a pleasurable experience on barmy Summer's evening.
Burgers are quite good from here. I wish they were a little bigger but that's just my opinion.
The Trucker Chips are what I come here for. My mate who lives in the area is often amazed at how I smash a large Trucker Chips and a burger on my own.
Everything is cooked to order and the ingredients are of a good quality.
Great burger, definitely better than the ones they make in the trucks. Gotta love the cheese that just melts in between. Chips were ordinary. Always great to come here when wanting a good burger.
These guys simply make great burgers. I've tried both at there food truck and there store and both times were delicious. I always ask for extra pickles as I think it gives a great balance to the burger. Sometimes you get too much bun and it ruins the burger, but these guys do a great job on getting it right. It's on par with huxtaburger and huxtaburger is one of my favourite burger joints. Oh and there chips are great as well. Overall, id happily go here anytime.
The words “Food” and “Truck” were never two nouns I thought I’d lovingly put together in a sentence, at least not until now. Mr. Burger has given this vegetarian hope there's a decent veg burger to be had in Melbourne! Find out what I thought by ↓↓ clicking the link below ↓↓
One of the best Burgers I've ever had! The meat was perfectly cooked and the burger ingredients were super fresh! The poutine chips were nice but I wouldn't have them again.
I usually really enjoy Mr Burger but recently I've had a few issues when I've had to make simple requests. They seem so stuck in their rut of producing the 5 burgers they offer that even though they say they can respond to very small modifications; no mayo or well cooked meat, once the order is taken and cooking starts the request is lost. I often have my burgers as take away but after my last experience I'm not going back for take away as it ends with me getting home or back to the office, opening ny purchase and realising I can't actually eat all of it. Given the size of their menu you'd think responding to simple requests shouldn't be that hard but they seem to find it repeatedly challenging; little bourke & fitzroy stores!

My favourite at this place is always Mr.Meat.. Mr. Burger is just like a cheese burger. Get Mr. Meat!! The patty is always tender and juciy, barbeque and mayonnaise sauce make it into pefection. Need to get one now!!
Really good burgers as always from Mr Burger. But the restaurant itself has 0 atmosphere. It's an empty, sterile shell. They could really turn a place like this, with its cheap, tasty burgers and beers into a bustling venue. After all, Melbourne is the place to do it.
I am a regular at Mr Burger :) its awesome! perfect late night snack after the pub
I came into the store last night (Saturday 27th) food was great and the staff so friendly even though it was very busy.
thanks guys
Good burgers and good chips.
Portions are decent.
Price is kinda cheap.
Decor and ambience is nice as well.
Service is good.
Pretty good for a late night snack coming home from the pub.
Spot on, Mr. Hot and a Melbourne bitter Is amazing. Staff are awesome too, one of the best burgers I've had. Price is reasonable and quick service.
Only been there once. Just arrived in town after driving from Perth. Really basic menu with only three or for burgers, however excellent execution. Truly satisfying burger!
When I ask Yuye what he wants to eat for lunch or dinner, more than half the time he replies ‘food trucks’. He doesn’t specify what type, whether it’s burgers, tacos or some other type, I think it’s just the idea of eating freshly made food from a moving location that’s so appealing to him. The desire to hunt it down somehow makes him happy, and of course the few times we’ve had such food it was delicious too. New food trucks have been appearing in Melbourne’s various locations consistently since a few years ago and has become a very popular dining choice. Good for us I say because I totally love that street food feel. While we were on our way to the airport to pick up Yuye’s parents, we decided to eat at a food truck beforehand. Yuye was in charge of looking up the location but when we parked, we realised that the truck didn’t operate until dinner time. It turned out that there aren’t many food trucks operating in the late afternoon. After some driving around we decided to stop outside a Mr Burger location and wait for it to open at 5pm. My stomach was growling so audibly when we finally received our food. We literally chowed it down in a matter of minutes. It was that delicious, perhaps partly because we were that hungry too. Prices here are quite reasonable as well. I ordered the Mr Hot with a beef patty, cheese, bacon, onion rings chilli mayo and jalapenos ($12). They really don’t skimp on the ingredients and I had a whole layer of jalapenos. It was actually very chilli and I had to pull some out. It was quite a tasty and filling burger. The patty was thick and juicy, seasoned and cooked just right. Yuye ordered the Mr Meat with beef, cheese, bacon, caramelised onions, pickle, BBQ sauce and mayo ($11). I didn’t eat any of his since it was very messy but he said it was very delicious. The patty was juicy and the caramelised onions gave it a slightly sweet aroma. To go with the meal, we also ordered the trucker chips ($8) which was a huge box of fries topped with
Just what I needed. Nice burgers, good service. What's there not to like?

Mr Burger is a Melbourne favourite when it comes to the insatiable demand for quality burgers. Just look at their Facebook page which has around 50,000 followers! With food trucks that dominate the Melbourne burger scene (we are regulars), Mr Burger now has 3 permanent locations.
Fresh, tasty, hot, flavoursome burgers. I haven't been disappointed yet.
Good burgers, but missing that extra oomph to make them super delicious. But they use fresh ingredients and if you download the 100 orders app you can get $10 off your purchase when you use the app, ended up paying $1 for a burger
Consistently satisfied with the quality of burgers at this establishment. The standard of service offered, especially by the woolly haired fellow (didn’t catch his name), is on-par with some of the finest burger joints in Melbourne. Will be returning indefinitely A++
Had the most incredible experience tonight... chips were CRISPY, burgers were COOKED TO PERFECTION and the staff and service was TOTALLY GORGEOUS! I’ll be back with the family very soon! Thank you to the blonde boy with the piercing for giving us his all even amidst close :) can always count on you guys
Having lived in Melbourne for almost 20 years, I witnessed Mr Burger as a start-up burger joint that offer real beef-burgers. They actually started as a food truck! Good to know that they have expanded to more permanent shops. Keep up the good job!
