Review Si Senorita Bar - Fitzroy

Not great. Not bad. My enchiladas did not taste like the enchiladas in Mexico at all. The waitresses were a bit grumpy. There is no physical menu so you have to do the QR code, some people probably don't care, but I hate reading the menu on my phone. Also, they don't split bills. Would I go back? No.

Check the Specials. Most amazing Staff. Cosey atmosphere. Taco šŸŒ® Tuesday $35 all you can eat so come prepared.
Hannah Barrett
Great little spot! Lots of foodā€¦ well priced. Drinks had good flavour as well. Was a little loud and the tomato salsa tasted a bit old (like it had been made a couple of days prior and stored).

It was a good time, had the bottomless feed, the food was nice and always flowing. The cocktails in the jugs had no noticeable taste of alcohol but that's never a bad thing either, however the staff seemed to be in a bit of a hurry in kicking us out before the booking time had actually finished; only due to making time for the next booking but other than that it was a good night.

DONā€™T DO THE BOTTOMLESS ITā€™S A SCAM Bottomless isnā€™t a bottomless they donā€™t let you have drinks when you ask for even before the end of your booking. Food is shockingā€¦ā€¦.. Only offer you 3 types of drinksā€¦ā€¦. Heaps of other places that have better food and drink options.

My sisters and I had booked for bottomless brunch. Wow love the whole vibe in this cool as Mexican place! The staff are very lovely friendly and attentive! Especially our waitress she was awesome and because it was our first time doing this she explained the whole bottomless brunch thing. So good for the price you pay well worth it! They keep the drinks coming once your glass is empty! Oh and the food too. They keep the yummy quesadillas coming too! We will be back.

Food was so tasty. We had the beef nachos. Iā€™m not a big red meat fan, but this had pulled beef which was so lean and tasty. We also had amongst us, chicken burrito bowl, chicken & beef burritos, chicken quesadillas & classic margaritas. Only thing Iā€™d like to see is having our empty water bottle replaced. We were the only ones in the whole place on a Wednesday evening, so canā€™t put it down to being too busy.
Olivia Jazmyne
We did the bottomless fiesta and it was one of the best dining experiences weā€™ve ever had. The food was incredible, im still thinking about the quesadillas days later, and I couldnā€™t fault the value for money. Definitely a must try experience if youā€™re in the area.

Really appreciated the wonderful staff and delicious food! Even got a birthday margarita for my partner šŸ˜

We went last weekend and we did the bottomless deal, was great, a lot of good quesadillas and drinks, very recommended! Also, I want to thank to Marcela and Mariano for their hard work, they were so busy, doing everything and running around the place, as the only 2 people working and they were always friendly and helpful.
Annamary Carroll
We had the bottomless brunch here. The quesadillas were delicious and the variety of drinks were amazing. We were asked numerous times if we wanted more of each. Super friendly staff. Great value for money!

Si Senorita is a venue that everyone has to visit at least once in their lives, then visit again because it is so damn good! I have been a number of times and cannot fault. Highly recommend! Make sure you get the Quesadillas and nachos, the best ever!<br/>
Nicole Wamba
My favourite Mexican restaurant in Melbourne. If you are a fan of Mexican food, and to be honest, who isn't! Then Si Senorita is for you. High quality food and great cocktails.
Blue Man
The best Mexican in Melbourne 10 out of 5 on the scale! Yes, that is a score double of what is allowed on Zomato! Highly, highly recommend. Si Senorita is seriously the best of the best.
Clairemeaker92
Tonight was the first night going out for dinner since Covid restrictions have lifted and we were thoroughly looking forward to the menu.<br/>I really enjoyed the beef nachos, there was a generous amout of topping (especially quacomole), however that's where the enjoyment ended for me.<br/>The taco tortillas I found to be quite dry, we had the chicken and pulled pork filling and found it to underwhelming and dry.<br/>The cerviche wasn't bad, If you enjoy a very sour acidic flavour, you would enjoy this how ever I felt this was to over powering <br/>Finally for desert I ordered the churros, unfortunately they were really hard and overcooked.<br/>I felt the staff were super friendly and we were well taken care of, unfortunately we just didn't enjoy the food as much as we thought we would.
Lauren Pinch
So gooooood! I am going to say it.. THE BEST MEXICAN in Melbourne!!! The quesadillas are OMFG delicious! Cannot get enough and if I could eat them every day, I would!
Evelyn Dempsey
Loved coming to si seniorita! Great bottomless brunch and the nachos were to die for here. Staff always treated me so well and the vibes were just awesome. Can't wait to get back here!

There was a long wait to be served and order but they had a birthday sign ready for my fiancƩ and gave him a complimentary drink which was lovely
Tokenbroccolligirl
Wow the bottomless brunch here is awesome! Came with some girlfriends on a whim and we were all impressed! Definitely recommending to my mates for future drinks :)
DamoForce Food
Came here with some friends. Great atmosphere. Staff was attentive and friendly. The tacos were juicy and full of flavour! Chicken wings also a winner.

The food here for starters is very well presented, colourful and we couldnā€™t wait to dig in.<br/><br/>Nachos were on point with plenty of beans, avocado, onion, tomato and sour cream on top. Itā€™s a huge serve so recommend this one for sharing.<br/><br/>The quesadilla was also impressive, nice and cheesy. Very cool vibe and my husband and I enjoyed our date night here. With great beers and cocktails available too, weā€™ll be back for sure.
Mandy
How had I never heard of this restaurant before?<br/>This was hands down the best Mexican food I've had in Melbourne!!<br/><br/>We had some tacos (fish were my fave), beef nachos, BBQ corn, fish ceviche and the chicken quesadillas.<br/><br/>The chicken quesadillas were outstanding.. My fave dish of them all.<br/><br/>Cannot wait to come back to this gem of a restaurant again! Well worth the 45min drive šŸ‘Œ
Nicole
What a menu, Mexican food has never wowed me until now! The food was actually exceptional, the whole group loved the experience and we cannot stop raving about how good food was! I loved every bit and will be back soon!

I can't wait to go back to this place, food is delicious!
Eating Away Melbourne
We went last week during the week and it wasnt quite meet our expectations. There was barely anyone in there and the food still took a bit longer than normal. Pull pork was a bit dry, so was the fish in the taco. Not the best taco I have had. Chicken wings were ok but far from Gami level. Grilled corn was probably the best dish we had that night. Service on the other hand was quite friendly.
FriesFiend
Love this place, they got the food, drinks and vibes just right!

To celebrate my friend's 23rd birthday, we came to Si Senorita.<br/><br/>Ordered:<br/>šŸŸ Mixed Bean Nachos: crispy corn chips, mixed beans, guacamole, sour cream, fresh salsa ($22.00)<br/>šŸŒ½ Esquites (v): Bbq corn in a bowl, chipotle creama, cilantro, sliced chilli ($8.00)<br/>šŸ„™ Grilled Chicken Quesadilles: flour tortilla, blend of cheese, grilled-chicken, fresh salsa ($14.00)<br/>šŸŒ® Market Fresh fish taco (2 pcs): red slaw, coconut battered fish, beetroot creama ($13.00)<br/><br/>Review:<br/>The Grilled Chicken Quesadillas took our breath away. There was something perfect about the crispy tortilla, the melted cheese that was almost perfection. I would highly recommend this one!!<br/><br/>Be cautious when ordering the nachos. The serving size that came out was enough to generously serve 3/4 people. We barely made a dent in it - but the bean flavour also got a bit much after a while. šŸ˜<br/><br/>The esquites was an interesting take on the classic street corn, and I feel like there was more corn in that than there would be on a regular corn. It was a nice alternative, but you can never truly replace a classic!<br/><br/>Service was very friendly and smiles all around. They girls were attentive and definitely added to the welcoming culture. There was a handwritten RSVP note for us - adding a really nice touch of personalization that I haven't seen in a long time.

So much food for such a cheap price! $22 for 3 people for all this food šŸ˜ amazing staff, so friendly. Will be back soon!

Great magaritas, great food.
Malhotrachirag95
Bottomless Brunch option is great to have in a restaurant but needs to be done right, Si Senorita needs more staff to accommodate for Bottomless Brunch. Nearly sat for 30 min with no drinks into a 2 hour bottomless brunch and then had to wait ages to get the next round of drinks once we got couple of them.
B_kam
Visited Si Senorita on Friday night and everything was a 10/10. It hit all the right spots with incredibly delicious flavours, the most friendliest and welcoming staff, and the perfect ambience. I woke up this morning craving the food because it was just that good. I canā€™t wait to go back! <br/>Combination of food ordered: beans nachos, chicken quesadillas, ceviche, chicken tacos. <br/>Drinks: margaritas (best ones!!)

This place has it all. Great environment, kind staff and unbelievable food. Have tried countless different Mexican eateries in Melbourne with this one being the best, by far! Will be returning soon!

Came here to try our their menu and oh my, you have got to get yourself down there today! Everything we had was so JUICY and TASTY we ate till we were full and ate some more!Ā <br/><br/>šŸŒ® The coconut battered fish tacos covered in a bright pink beetroot creama which was A-MAZING<br/><br/>šŸŒ® The pulled pork butt taco with red slaw and pineapple salsa - super juicy this one and our favorite<br/><br/>The ceviche traditional (honestly the best dish of the night) - fish cured in lemon served with fresh salsa (sooo delicious) and corn chips. WORTH EVERY DOLLAR šŸ’²šŸ’²šŸ’²<br/><br/>šŸ— Finished with a huge plate of chicken quesadillas COVERED in cheesy goodness, super filling super tasty.Ā <br/>Love the vibe here, the staff are SO friendly, definitely recommending this place to anyone who's into Mexican!!
Jess
Staff was a little confused when we told them we booked a table. Then when we ordered our food, it took ages to come out as well.. Food was average. Wasn't worth the wait but the drinks menu was good
Melly Mac
This was a very disappointing night. There were only 2 wait staff expected to manage waiting on all tables as well as mixing drinks and serving at the bar. On a Saturday night! As a result we waited 1 hour for our first drink (which had obviously been sitting around for ages as the ice was all melted in our cocktails) and even longer for food. It was impossible to get service. i do not blame the staff - I feel sorry for them. Obviously an owner who wants to make bigger profit margins at the staff and Dinerā€™s expense. It will never work long term as I canā€™t imagine they will get any regulars as a result. I would never return. The food was also average. Frozen corn used for the street corn, no cheese in nachos?!?! - just mediocre.
Dine And Dash
Si Senorita is a trendy and exciting bar that offers delicious and authentic Mexican street food, serving craft tacos, tequila and much more. Si Senorita also has a wide range of cocktails on offer including their award-winning Margaritas! We were very excited to visit the joint.<br/><br/>We ordered The Grilled Chicken, Beef Brisket and Filed Mushrooms tacos, The JalapeƱos Poppers, Beef Nachos and the Quesadillas. For drinks, we had the Margarita and the Paloma which was a tequila based drink served with grapefruit juice and soda.Ā <br/><br/>The Beef Nachos dish was definitely one of our favourite meals, itā€™s a very generous serving accompanied with corn chips, brisket, guacamole, sour cream and fresh salsa. The beef was cooked to perfection and the guacamole was super fresh and palatable. The sauces are all home-made and they tasted beautiful.Ā <br/><br/>We loved our choices of tacos as well! The soft shell tortillas were a great touch and were definitely considered authentic Mexican street food. The fillings were delectable and the sauces in them went great with the respective proteins - especially the chipotle mayo in the grilled chicken taco. Finally, the Quesadillas. Wow. Those quesadillas were something elseā€¦ They were hot and absolutely oozing with cheese. They were simply exceptional.<br/><br/>The team behind Si Senorita are incredibly friendly and attentive, they truly made our experience at Si Senorita extremely enjoyable. Si Senorita cater for everyone including vegan, vegetarian and gluten free and are also available for functions! The newly renovated space upstairs can host up to 100 guests.<br/><br/>Thank you for having us Si Senorita!

I'm a huge fan of proper Mexican food, and it doesn't get much more authentic than Si Senorita in Fitzroy. Right from the moment you walk in, you can feel the Mexican vibes. From the dark wood, vibrant colours and well stocked bar, I knew we were in for a great night. Welcomed by lovely staff, they talked us through the new menu which has add the addition of some new items such as quesadilles. After picking a wide variety of items, we settled in to enjoy some delicious cocktails. The margaritas here are sensational, with outstanding tequila and lots of zingy lime. There's nothing quite like a margarita to feel relaxed.<br/><br/>For starters we had jalapeno poppers and corn chip crusted chicken wings. Seriously good nibbles. Jalapeno poppers are so much fun, with their crunchy coating and spicy insides. I could easily eat a dozen of these. Si Senorita has a fabulous spin on fried chicken, with the crunchy corn chip coating... seriously good, and totally addictive.<br/><br/>Next came the line up of tacos. Fresh tortillas loaded with amazing fillings. Chicken with cactus, slow cooked pork, fried fish and a fantastic veg taco with loads of corn and salsa. Each one was amazing, all with their own unique flavours and textures. I really loved the chicken and the veg, although they were all great.<br/><br/>We had to try the new quesadilles, and these were exceptional. So much chicken and oozey cheese, with a fantastic dipping sauce. In fact all the sauces were fantastic. All fresh and homemade, from the delicious salsa to all the amazing spicy sauces.<br/><br/>The upstairs space has been renovated, and is available for functions, and I can imagine this would be a great venue for a party. The staff are fabulous and very attentive, and the vibe here is relaxed and fun. It was a busy night, and everyone around us seemed to be having a great time. With such fabulous food and service it was easy to understand why...and of course, there is also the tequila.<br/><br/>Thank you for hosting us.

Let's go to Mexico! A great selection of Mexican food for Mexican lovers. Everything is on offer from Tacos to Nachos and of course Sangria. A great night with some great cocktails. **Disclaimer: although the restaurant has generously invited me to their restaurant this review is still based on my genuine opinion.

I have been looking forward to heading here for a while now, and the food did not disappoint! What did disappoint was the lack of service. After ten minutes of awkwardly waiting around to be seated, someone came over and took us to our table, and then didnā€™t come back. No menus, no water or enough cutlery. Lucky we got the attention of one of the other waiters who eventually got us the basic table requirements. It did seem like they were understaffed, but they were not overly busy for a Saturday night either. I do believe aside from the disappointing service, the food 110% made up for this! Make sure you order the beef nachos, the bbq corn and the chicken wings - you wonā€™t regret it. The best taco was probably the pulled beef, the pork taco was a little dry. The Paloma and Mojito cocktails were strong but enjoyable. All in all, would definitely come back for the great food and hope the service is better!

From vibes to food to the staff, everything is LIT. One of the most happening places in FItzroy to have few drinks and eat your favourite Mexican food. They also have a private space for you to book x

So glad we tried this place! couldn't fault the food or service. Ordered the chicken wings (Amazing, tasty, crunchy, delicious). Pork tacos (Tasty! and taco full to the brim) Jalapeno Poppers (my favourite! mild and cheesy). Tostaditas? Not bad. Michelada was nice, and the two for $25 Margaritas were lovely. Service was so warm and you could tell a lot of love has gone into making this a great place. Dont review that often, however, hosts were both very friendly and made time for everyone and it was noted! well done guys. We will be back.
Good Food Good Mood
We were invited to Si Senorita tonight a wildly impressive taqueria in Brunswick st. The interior was vibrant and electric and there was a buzzing atmosphere of a Wednesday evening despite the fact that all you can eat Taco Tuesday had preceded it. They have an array of these excellent value deals including tonight which was 2 for $25 margaritas.<br/><br/>We ordered the beef nachos which were possibly the best nachos Iā€™ve ever experienced owing partly to the generosity of the serve. You definitely experience warm hospitality here (as strong as their delicious mojitos) and the serving size is representative of that. The freshness was also very apparent and the high quality ingredients. <br/><br/>We thoroughly enjoyed the chicken quesadilla too which was packed full of flavour. Our other dishes were the beef tacos and jalapeƱo poppers. Overall it definitely exceeded expectations and I would certainly recommend it

Fantastic food and great service - definitely left satisfied! Will return

Stumbled across this place on a Friday night and thought weā€™d give it a try after the good reviews. Unfortunately it left a lot to be desired. Drinks were great, however the food we ordered came out cold... every dish! It was also pretty understaffed which made ordering and getting a table more difficult than it shouldā€™ve been. Good for a drink after work but thereā€™s better options for food.

Lifeā€™s good when Wednesday consists of catch-ups with good friends over delicious Mexican food with half-price dining courtesy of The Fork!<br/><br/>The food was tasty, definitely try the nachos and share between 2-3 people! The pork taco I really liked but a bit more flavour in the mushroom taco would be great!<br/><br/>The staff were friendly and attentive and the venue was nice, despite being rather quiet as it was Wednesday!<br/><br/>We had the following dishes between 3 people (which was more than enough!)<br/><br/>1. Beef Nachos (crispy corn chips, pulled brisket, guacamole, sour cream, fresh salsa)<br/><br/>2. Pulled Pork Butt Tacos (red slaw, pulled pork, pineapple salsa an chipotle cream)<br/><br/>3. Field Mushroom Tacos (spinach, sautĆ©ed mushrooms, onions, queso)<br/><br/>4. Grilled Chicken Tacos (mixed green leaf, grilled chicken, cactus strips, chipotle mayo)

AWESOME PLACE FOR A NIGHT OUT WITH DRINKS & MEXICAN EATS!<br/><br/>Came came here with a group and was provided with an epic spread showcasing their range of cocktails and beers and delicious foods!<br/><br/>VENUE<br/>Loved the vibe of this bar. There were plenty of sitting areas with tables that are perfect for groups. There is even an upstairs function room.<br/><br/>FOOD and MENU<br/>We tried grilled corn, tacos, quesadillas, bowls of nachos and crispy chicken wings. The tacos had plenty of fillings and came in a variety of flavours- they even are vegan friendly! The bowls of nachos were large portions and could easily be shared between 2-3 people over drinks. All the dishes were absolutely delicious and could easily say one of the best Mexican cantina been to in a long time.<br/><br/>CUSTOMER SERVICE<br/>Could not fault service! It was friendly and our waiter and bartender made delicious drinks!<br/><br/>An awesome place in Fitzroy and would definitely return with a group of friends!

We absolutely adored our experience here. Such passion for the food! <br/><br/>We went with a group, and we were greeted by such a lovely owner who loves to serve authentic and tasty Mexican good! <br/><br/>They have an array of great drinks, both Mexican and Western. We enjoyed a variety of perfectly made cocktails! If you can handle the heat and wanna try something new - there are some serious cocktails to have! <br/><br/>The food was top notch! The Mexican nachos to share ARE HUGE! Bigger than my head, recommend them. But my favourite had to be the chicken wings! The crunchy coating of nacho chips on the outside, that was a genius idea! <br/><br/>Plus all you can eat Tacos on Tuesdays! $35pp, for one hour! How many could you do!?! <br/><br/>Recommend heading here!
Melb_Belly
Came here for an event and was treated to a feast and drinks.<br/><br/>The was a variety of tacos including vego and vegan ones, the vegan cheese used was great.<br/>My favorite was the fish taco, so crispy and yummy. Also every Tuesday is taco night, $35 for all you can eat tacos šŸ‘Œ.<br/><br/>The nachos were huge, could easily be shared between 2-3ppl depending on how hungry everyone is.<br/><br/>Great range of cocktails and other bevies.<br/><br/>Would recommend, especially for a group outing šŸ‘
Quince And Cheese
For affordable and vegan-friendly Mexican food and bevs, Si Senorita is definitely a vibe. The space is dark and pretty large and ideal for group meals and happy hours. I enjoyed a few dishes on the recently updated menu including the mushroom and corn tacos, the latter of which had a delicious pesto. The massive bowl of veg nachos were delicious with super fresh ingredients including a marinated diced avocado, which is a great alternative to mashed guac. But my favourite dish of all was the vegan quesadilla, which would have fooled me for dairy if I didn't know. It's the ultimate comfort food. The bar menu includes various Mexican beers and cocktails including the interesting and savoury Michelada (a combo of beer, Worcestershire, lime, hot sauce and soy sauce). Sounds odd but so worth a try. Otherwise, classics like margaritas and pisco sours are always a good choice. Oh and don't forget to visit on Tuesdays for cheap tacos!

It's been a while we did bar hopping and danced whole night, and we decided to start with Si Senorita.<br/><br/>Ordered a Sangria, Loaded Chips, Loaded Nachos and a Mocktail (do not recollect). We enjoyed everything that was put down on the table. Portions, Taste and Service was just right.<br/><br/>What we would have ideally liked is the bar vibe but then, obviously it's a casual dinning place with a wonderful bar as a bonus so no complaints at all. Nothing Fancy, Nothing Dramatic but definitely, Very Good at what they do the best....Simplicity.<br/><br/>Definitely returning.
Nalia
3.5. A nice casual place for dinner, service was friendly and food came out quite fast. We had the papas con chorizo which was huge with tasty chips. However it was a bit dry and chorizo was strangely on the bland side. Not sure if there was chimichurri sauce but unfortunately we couldn't taste it. Loved the super tasty bbq street corn and chicken taco. Beef brisket taco was nice and fish taco was ok. The tortillas were delicious.
Rabani
Great taco bar in the middle of Brunswick st.Ā <br/>We were there on a Friday night for our friend's birthday with a group of 8.Ā <br/>Everyone loved their tacos, and cocktails we had.<br/>Definitely will be back, as we are still tasting that pulled pork!
Chinmay Khisty
I went there on a friday in a group of 3 where the other 2 were vegetarians so we all decided to share vego items from the menu.<br/>The tostaditas were too strong on the lime and kind of overpowered everything else.<br/>the mixed bean nachos were a tad dissappointing as there was no warm element on it, it was all too cold and not comforting at all.<br/>and the third strike was the mushroom taco which was again too cold and just didn't taste nice.<br/><br/>I kinda feel like visiting again to try some of the meat options as they do look good on the menu but I did't like any of the 3 dishes that we had on the day, the staff was friendly and kind though.
Manik Sethi
The food looks nice and so is the ambience but the price vs taste is nothing over average. There are much better choices in and around Fitzroy which offer a much better package overall. Wouldnā€™t recommend or visit.

EDITED score post call with manager:<br/><br/>I've amended my original score from a 1 to a 2 post receiving a call from the manager to explain what went down the night we were there. Whilst it doesn't change my below original review and our experience from that night, I did appreciate the call from him explaining some of the difficulties they experienced that night and for his apology. I thought that was a nice bit of customer service for him to call, and I would be willing in future to revisit on a different occasion to retry the food there.<br/><br/>**********************************<br/><br/>What an absolute debacle of a night. So we made a booking on TheFork, and when we got there they had no idea about it. So not the best start.<br/><br/>They were able to get us a table but, it didn't get better from there. We had to wait at least 45 min( we timed it) before our first dish came out. Our first dish was tortilla chips and guac. Why it took 45 mins for friggin tortilla chips to hit our table I have no idea.<br/><br/>The service was also super patchy. I had to ask the wait staff 3 or maybe 4 times for table water. I've never had that experience elsewhere.<br/><br/>When we did get the food it was super average. So so not worth the wait.<br/><br/>Best avoided.
Grace
Such a great little spot for dinner. The food was amazing- hands down best Mexican food weā€™ve had in Melbourne. The traditional ceviche and jalapeƱo poppers were a favourite. The chicken tacos were also great. Our server was also really friendly and helpful.
Josh
We came with a group on Tuesday for the taco deal.<br/>All of us sample all the tacos on the menu and they did not disappoint.<br/>The pork taco was the highlight.<br/>We also had some cocktails, normally I try to avoid tequila, but that margarita was superb!
Lachie Swann
The bar is nice and staff were friendly. However, this is a low quality Mexican food outlet - none of our stomachs were right for days after. Questionable hygiene and food freshness. Iā€™d avoid the fish/pork at this place for sure.
Samuel McCall
Delicious food with very generous serving size ! The wings and nachos were a highlight. Very much recommend going here for some funny Mexican food !!

Si Senorita on Brunswick Street is a funky spot serving some authentic Latin American food and cocktails, the bar also hosts salsa nights and language exchange programs to build more of a community vibe. Absolutely loved the pina colada, portions for food are generous, I loved eating the elotes, fish tacos and nachos!
Lizzie Eats Melbourne
šŸ˜±Lizzieā€™s first impression: had great ambience coming into the restaurant with pumping Mexican music and a function going on upstairs. It was busy yet staff were still so attentive. <br/><br/>šŸ©Lizzie enjoyed: I loved EVERYTHING I tried here. <br/>The nachos with pulled pork with creamer and quacamole was to die for..it was everything I wanted in a bowl. <br/><br/>The white fish ceviche was such good value for money, you get a whole bowl of deliciously made ceviche and it goes perfect with the crisps. <br/><br/>I really loved the fish tacos I had - the perfect amount of slaw and sauce so it wasnā€™t too dry and gave it lots of flavour. <br/><br/>How can I forget to mention the drinks? I had a margarita and it was super delicious with the rim of salt and the taste of tequila - sensational! <br/><br/>šŸ…Lizzie did not enjoy: N/A <br/><br/>šŸ„‡Lizzie rates overall: loved the ambience especially with all the disco lights and great selection of music. Staff are all so friendly and attentive and I canā€™t wait to come back for my next Mexican Fix!
Melanie (ForeverBrunching)
A great bar with awesome Mexican vibes, great service, lovely food & strong drinks!<br/><br/>I loved the fun in this bar, with the music, Mexican hats for lampshades & array of colours from lights behind the bar! I got vibes from the Day of the Dead festival.<br/><br/>The espresso martini here is very tasty! A little strong, but a great level of coffee liquor. It was also made out of tequila rather than vodka which was cool. Here was the first time trying a margarita & they were so tasty!<br/><br/>The food was so yummy! Great for sharing with friends.<br/>I ate a wide variety of food from corn with cheese; yummy guacamole; very tasty ceviche fish & mushrooms; multiple types of juicy tacos; BBQ corn with a nice paprika hit & some slightly spicy, cheese filled jalapeƱo poppers!<br/><br/>Service is very friendly & more than up for a chat while sitting at the bar! A great place for Friday/Saturday/any night drinks & some food
Vanessa Lutar
Really liked friendly warm welcome upon arrival. Enjoyed a lovely cocktail, highly recommend the Bloody Maria! Food and service was spot on. All dishes were presented perfectly couldnā€™t fault a thing. Loved the tacos. Melt in your mouth pulled pork and beef. Thank you for a wonderful experience lighting up the bar with our individualised tequila shot. Reasonably priced menus. Canā€™t wait to come back.

Most unique Mexican infused fried chicken, so if you love fried chicken this is a MUST try, crumbed with tortilla chips, every piece was perfectly crunchy and chicken was super juicy.<br/><br/>We felt like quesadillas and chef was accommodating, it was a delicious chicken and mushrooms with guacamole on the side.<br/><br/>Pork taco was tasty, but we were quite full. However the big bowl of nachos looks nice and the cactus chicken tacos sounds interesting, shall try next time.<br/><br/>Came here with my partner but next time maybe with a group of friends so that we can try more things, great place for sharing and nice music in the background that you can still hold a conversation.
Jim White
This place is fantastic! We had a group of 8 of us and had a terrific time! The chap behind the bar helped us navigate through the very decent tequila selection and the snacks and mains were authenticity and perfect. Get down and see what the fuss is all about!

Went in for the tacos and was not disappointed. Great selection of tequila and beer to boot. Was pretty busy on the night I was there but the service was still spot on šŸ‘

A popular bar in the heart of Fitzroy, specialising in Mexican street food with a twist! The venue is funky, dark, and decorated with neon lights. Very busy on a Friday night!<br/><br/>I started off with a margarita and boy was it good! So refreshing and sweet - and the perfect accompaniment to our food.<br/><br/>The guac and corn chips was the perfect starter to nibble on. The guac was super fresh and flavourful, and there was plenty of it! The corn chips were crunchy and addictive!<br/><br/>The BBQ Street Corn was delicious! It had a thick coating of cheese, chipotle crema and paprika for a little smokiness - so indulgent and yummy!<br/><br/>The JalapeƱo Poppers were outstanding! The batter is extra crunchy and the jalapeƱos are filled with rich cheese. It paired so nicely with the beetroot crema!<br/><br/>The Ceviche was honestly amazing - the fish was so fresh, and had the perfect balance of acidity and flavour. The Vegan Ceviche also completely blew my expectations! Itā€™s made of sliced mushrooms, and the flavours are more intense than the original. Honestly, I canā€™t choose between them!<br/><br/>And finally, who can forget about tacos?! We had the pork and the beef brisket tacos. The beef brisket was incredibly juicy - literally dripping, so a bit messy but also fun to eat! - and so tender! Plenty of salsa to balance out the freshness. Definitely my favourite! The pork taco was great too - I loved the charred-ness of the pork!<br/><br/>The staff team are all extremely lovely and very passionate about their food! They also have a food truck which has been running for 4 years, and Iā€™m definitely in need to try that soon!<br/><br/>Definitely recommend checking them out if youā€™re looking for a great place for Mexican food or just to get drinks! <br/><br/>Thank you for having us!

Such a great vibe! I love the music, decor, lighting, atmosphere! <br/><br/>I love love love the cocktails here! Canā€™t go wrong with a margarita of course! The espresso martini is made with tequila which is a nice twist on the original recipe!!<br/><br/>So many vegan options too! I tried the GUAC, CORN, MUSHROOM CEVICHE, and MUSHROOM TACOS. So freakin yum!! <br/><br/>Not sure which was my favourite dish, they were all so flavoursome! The mushroom ceviche was definitely unique and so fresh! <br/><br/>The team in the kitchen and bar work hard to provide amazing food drinks and service. Iā€™ll definitely be back to try more cocktails and maybe have a dance upstairs!

Hard to find bars with a good selection of Mezcals. Definitely worth the trip.<br/>The nachos were massive and super fresh, clearly real avo was used in the guacamole.<br/>The service was pretty swift despite how busy they looked.<br/>Thumbs up!

Went to Si Senorita Bar last night. Beautiful place to go with friends and have a good time. Loved the music. Food was amazing. We had the Beef Nachos. They were so yummy!!! Beef was delicious and definitely worth the money for the serve you get. It was huge! We also had a few Tacos. They were very nice to. <br/>Bar attendant was very nice and friendly. Great customer service. <br/>Definitely coming back next week! And I recommend this fun place.

Great finding on Brunny st, in desperate look for decent tacos around Fitzroy we stumbled upon this taqueria. Awesome flavors on those tacos, with the pork butt being the highlight.

We came to this place last Saturday with some friends, incredible little hidden gem we found!<br/>Great tequila bar which is so hard to find around Fitzroy.<br/>The tacos were awesome, and the service was great. The bartender had a lot of knowledge about the drinks being served.

Nice Mexican place on Brunswick Street with good music, cool drink options including some good cocktails and most importantly some very good food. The mains come in huge portions.<br/><br/>The staff were really nice and welcoming and the entire experience had a good feel to it. A few more options on the food menu could be the only area of improvement. Will surely be back there though!

Lovely food and ambiance in a great location!!!<br/>I ordered the mushroom tacos and really enjoyed the authentic Mexican flavours. The presentation of the food has a fresh, delicate and modern touch. <br/>This place offers a wide range of local and international drinks. <br/>Weā€™ll definitely be back!

Not the most scintillating of experiences you get when you visit a Mexican.<br/><br/>The food was really average, and werenā€™t reflective of the prices charged.<br/><br/>The tunes gave it a little bit of a vibe, but other than that, there was nothing noteworthy. <br/><br/>The tacos were pretty similar to one another except for the sauces and the meat filling ( fish and pork in this case ) the nachos had heaps of tortilla chips and the beef brisket was definitely lacking in freshness. Their corn cob(no pic)was alright, it came out last even though itā€™s an appetizer as I believe they didnā€™t prepare it beforehand. Even their sangria was poorly lacking(forgot to take a picture) had way too much wine in it, making it feel as if Iā€™m drinking wine doused with some fruit.<br/><br/>

Coffe is superb!<br/><br/>The chips and chicken we ordered however were bland and just lacked any flavour at all.<br/><br/>Perfect place to chill and have some booze though

Thank you so much for the lovely food, service and accommodating our requests, especially with our little girl.<br/><br/>The staff were very friendly and attentive and even brought out a pen and paper to entertain my baby.<br/><br/>We ordered the pork, chicken and beef taco - all were delicious. Followed by the corn, jalapeno, nacho bowl and jug of sangarita. A little too much for 2 ppl but we couldn't resist, the food was delicious.<br/><br/>Thank you very much Si Senorita staff, will definitely see you guys soon.

We ordered a variety of dishes - tried most of the tacos, all the ceviche, and jalapeƱo poppers. The food was fairly good - the ceviche was possibly our favourite dish, the poppers were nice and crispy, the tacos had great flavour but sometimes were a bit cold and not the whole taco was fully cooked. The cocktail was delicious! <br/><br/>However, the wait time between the dishes was much too long and them being very under staffed (we had to keep asking for attention, however the staff were very friendly but just way too busy) and we would see the kitchen ring their bells but the staff were so busy at the bar that the food would wait to be served. This is a real shame cause it made us a little ā€˜hangryā€™. <br/>

The food was ok and ambience and drinks were good but there is plenty of competition in Brunswick st, and with poor service itā€™s not a compelling product for me. I donā€™t like to wait almost 15mins for corn chips to go with my guacamole or be told just one sec and then get forgotten, and really why canā€™t the waiter just take my order - I donā€™t want to get up and order at the bar.

Really good food and ambience. $10 Jugs are a must have. And the tacos I tasted were amazing as well, which had a sauce with the right amount of heat in it. Beef loaded nachos were great as well. Onions were a bit strong though.<br/><br/>I definitely recommend it and it is now on my go-to list for the week ;).

Arriving at Si Senorita we were welcomed by the bartender and shown to our seats. The decor of the place was very cosy with a great layout for people to enjoy their night. I mentioned we had a groupon voucher that included 1kg of wings and sides and the waitress took knowledge and explained our included drinks. <br/><br/>After a good amount of time our food came out and we started eating. Presentation was excellent and the flavours of the bbq corn was delicious, however the chicken wings was lacking in flavour even though it was crispy. After both realising the taste we tried hailing over the waitress several times to get some sauces to help the flavour, at one point she looked at me for a good few seconds but did not come over, continuing to chat to the bartender. After another 10 minutes we decided we had enough and left after a disappointing dinner.<br/><br/>I will say there is potential for this place to be better but it has to start with the customer service/waitressing. We felt like we werenā€™t appreciated as customers ordering food but just as extras.

My second visit. A relatively new place with some really great Mexican food. Well priced options with some great deals. Mojito to start. Yum. Donā€™t miss out itā€™s a must do addition to a Brunswick st meal.

To share, the Nacho crusted chicken wings are a winner ā€“ perfectly fried and crunchy exterior encasing moist and flavoursome flesh. <br/><br/>The Beef nachos are similarly enticing. We loved the generous bowl of crispy corn chips laced with melt in your mouth pulled brisket, guacamole, fresh salsa and topped with sour cream.

I forget how much I love Latin American food when I donā€™t eat it for a while!!! Had such a good night at Si Senorita bar in Fitzroy, everything from the drinks to the tacos and the guacamole were all on point! <br/><br/>You should also try the tequila shot itā€™s a dessert, angel cake infused with tequila and then deep fried! Itā€™s got a texture between a donut and a cake! <br/><br/>And for those who are game donā€™t forget to ask the staff for their secret hot sauce haha it will truly burn your tongue, nose and make you sweat! Great for those who boast they can take chilli really well! get the milk ready!

Been wanting to come here for a while and finally had the chance to come, and so worth it. Great venue , the staff were having fun, the food was one of the best Mexican I have had since I have had a few not so great experiences, this place definitely takes the icing off the cake. Will be back soon. Thanks guys<br/>

The interior design was clean, minimalist; The look and feel was similar to the most typical fancy bars around Fitzroy. The customer staffs and bartenders were very nice, friendly and knowledgeable. When we came, we almost missed the ā€œMixed Bean Nachosā€ (Crispy corn chips, bean mix, guacamole, sour cream, fresh salsa).

I was invited to attend the opening of Si Senorita Bar in Fitzroy which serves up food primarily of Mexican influence. Upon arrival I was greeted by Sangria and beer which I thought was a great way to start the night ;D ! The Sangria was pretty good and had a lot of fresh fruit packed in it, I did find it a bit diluted so I just drank more haha<br/><br/>During the night we sampled a few dishes which were to be on the menu, we shared nacho bowls that had corn chips guac beans and salsa, some char grilled corn which was so delicious especially with the seasoning they sprinkled on top followed by the melted cheese . I also managed to gulp down a few bite sized tacos? They were basically corn chips with guac on top. My favorite dish of the night was probably the corn chip crumbed chicken, extremely crunchy yet moist and tender chicken inside!Ā <br/><br/>Thank you so much for the invitation :)

Itā€™s a 3.6 for me. Si Seniorita is a casual, comfy new bar restaurant on Brunswick Street. We were delighted to invited for the opening together with lots of the ownersā€™ family and friends which was great fun. The cuisine is Latin American influenced and not exclusively Mexican or Spanish. The sangria to start was a little underpowered but improved with a stir. It was very enjoyable. The corn chips were very good too and the accompanying guacamole excellent with just the right amount of spice. The lentil dip was a little under seasoned for me but the diced eggplant was really lovely. A highlight for us on the night was the char grilled corn with chili, spices and cheese which was unusual and very moorish. Donā€™t miss this dish. We desperately wanted to like the chicken coated with nachos. It had really interesting texture and the chicken was cooked superbly but it just needed a flavour lift we felt. The chicken taco with jalipino was good and the pulled Pork taco was lovely with a satisfying deep flavour and lovely textures. Our wine for the night was a lovely Yarra Valley Grenache. This wine is a thing of some beauty and is highly recommended. An enjoyable night and thank you so much for the invitation.

We were excited to have been invited along to the launch event for Si Senorita Bar in Fitzroy. This venue has a bar area at the front, some larger tables in the middle that would be perfect for larger groups and down the back tables for couples and groups of four. When we arrived the bar was well and truly pumping with sangria bottles lined up and plenty of diced apple on the move. The sangria was actually very drinkable but others chose beer from a good range of local Melbourne brews. <br/><br/>There was a definite corn chip these with the snack food dishes that were distributed throughout the night. We tried the nachos, corn chips and salsa, corn cobs and a crunch nachos crusted chicken wings dish.<br/><br/>Yes you did read that correctly. The chicken wings were crusted in corn chip crumb and served with a salsa. These were truely incredible with tender chicken meat and such a crunch.<br/><br/>The corn was also a big hit and I had a couple of these cobs which were coated in cheese and spices.<br/><br/>The music was great and it was quite an atmospheric venue that I look forward<br/>To having many more drinks at in the future. <br/><br/>Thanks so much for the invite.
