Carmen Bar - Fitzroy - Photo album

Great vibe to the place , drinks were normal pricing , noone was judging anyone , no fights , just a cool little venue ,
Had an off duty waitress/ bartender be very aggressive and try to have us kicked out after her shift, not sure why🤷🏼‍♂️ sitting peacefully at the end of the bar with a friend, possibly not the venues fault but didn't make for a great experience. Can't say much more, sorry, maybe grumpy staff shouldn
First time at a bar, such a wonderful experience. Wonderfully priced, drinks mixed well, such a great atmosphere and I felt safe there. For sure gonna come back when I have a chance
A grungy bar with a lot of soul still in it. Easy to get to and close to other great places to eat and drink. They have a great selection of local bands playing often. Go here for a no frills experience.
Killer staff and great vibe. Yes. So happy it's not only still there but a cultural icon in the making
I only just discovered this place and it’s got a very cool, relaxed vibe...staff were also very nice and service was quick (price for a pint was very good too, around $9 for the house beer) Also caught a live show which was great and the crowd was diverse and respectful.
Went to a friend's gig at the place, sound was extremely well done at the venue, chill place with a nice atmosphere, didn't have any food or drinks so can't make any input on that, but overall good for live music.
This self proclaimed grungy bar with graffitied toilets and paint stripped walls is nothing more than the locals idea of a last resort. Rude staff, particularly the manager who needs to understand that service does not revolve around her - rather the CUSTOMER (strange). The only saving grace of this
