If I wasn’t in love already with the beautifully made coffee, roasted from Axil Coffee, the signature Japanese pancakes were both exotic and delicious! With a red cabbage, caraway and beetroot house cured salmon and wakame mayo, this dish was really impressive! Service was very welcoming with a warm and inviting atmosphere!

Made a reservation through Zomato for Saturday morning (19/01/19) and when we arrived, the place was in fact closed and looked like it hadn't been open for weeks.

There were no notices on the door nor social media page updates.

We were extremely disappointed and luckily managed to make our way down to another cafe.

Highly recommend Sir Charles Fitzroy if you're in the area!

Great new little cafe in Fitzroy, one of the only good cafes around that part of Fitzroy. The staff are very friendly and quick. Food is great with they make a good almond latte.

This newbie in the famous vegan town Fitzroy is a MUST VISIT. If you’re sick of the typical brunch menu options and want to try something new and different..this is the cafe! Each dish full of different flavours and a twist, defs not your average brunch locations! The sago pudding was my personal fav, full of delicious flavours with each spoonful. Never had anything like it before and I was beyond impressed!! Not to mention stunning location with gorgeous white blue walls and bright lit interior! And the staff were AMAZING and super lovely.customer service makes such a difference. Thanks so much for having!

My wife and I have been a couple of times now and really enjoyed our visit both times. We've tried the Benny Guanciale (personal favourite), Japanese Pancakes and Cheek and Egg and all three dishes we're really good. The cafe has a cozy and bubbly vibe to it, it's really bright inside and the staff were really helpful. Will definitely return.

Great service to back up the excellent coffee and breakfast. I had the baked eggs and my wife the muesli. Both were awesome!!! Would recommend you try it out soon....

So stoked to be able to try this new cafe in Fitzroy (in courtesy of Melb Food Baby!)! The venue is small and cosy, and the interior is nice and bright. The waiters are extremely friendly and service is very good too!

I had the Japanese Pancakes, which seems to be one of their most popular dishes - and yes, I can definitely confirm why that is! The pancake was cooked perfectly, with heaps of red cabbage inside. It also came with a generous portion of amazing beetroot cured salmon, and sweet and refreshing wakame seaweed! Topped in okonomiyaki sauce and Japanese mayo - such a flavourful Japanese-fusion dish!

My friend had the FrenchLanka Toast, which was definitely not just an ordinary French toast! With flavours of cardamom and cloves, and a delightful coconut custard AND coconut treacle - this is truly a unique dish worth trying! Very sweet and also very filling!

We also got the Benny Guancile and the Health Board, which were all very delicious and came in very generous portions!

Overall, great food, friendly staff and fantastic company! Would highly recommend checking this new cafe out!

Hustle Fitzroy is a cute, aesthetic café located on the edge of the Melbourne CBD. I loved the bright, vibrant vibes of this place, and staff were very friendly and helpful. Upon seeing the menu, I was intrigued by the French Lankan Toast, which sounded very unique. Food service was reasonably fast and the food presentation exceeded all expectations. Absolutely loved the colourful dish - gorgeously adorned with fresh fruit and nuts. Maple syrup also came in a cute test-tube. Flavour was quite unique - a combination of a traditional French toast and a light hint of spices(?).

Overall a nice experience - didn't stand out too much from other café's but would still return to try out more of the menu!

Pictured: Benny Guanciale, French Lankan Toast, Japanese Pancakes, Health Board

This stylish cafe serves great coffee, really well balanced flavors, just spot on. I have eaten here a few times, and always too excited to start eating that I forget to take the photos. Beef cheek and the Japanese pancakes are super delicious. Very friendly staff , always a pleasure coming to Hustle.

Went to Hustle as it just newly opened and curious to try! Looks lovely inside, nice and bright. Waiters were friendly and very respectful of us chatty ladies. We kept on chatting and they didn’t interrupt us. I wouldn’t have mind though if every now and then they would’ve checked in with us to see if we were ready to order.
I had think he breakfast board and it was nice. The jar with muesli wasn’t ideal as the opening was quite narrow. It came with yoghurt on it and milk on the side. I usually wouldn’t add milk, but this time I did as there wasn’t enough yoghurt.
Would give 3.5 but have to choose 3 or 4 so chose 4 as newly opened places need the support!

It seems theres a newly opened cafe so we popped in! The interior is beautiful we got warm greeted when we walked in. Chai was nice but a bit too hot to hold, cup was really beautiful tho. Ordered two dishes to share and they were average. I hate to say I didnt quite enjoy them. The food was lukewarm the bacon on the benedict was so rubbery that is not quite nice to consume. French toast is the dish I order everywhere, so we had that as well. It was alright not too exciting. Service was really lovely!
