I also love their Ferrer Rocher cakes!!!!
Oh wow, I think I just had one of the best desserts in my life. The ricotta cheesecake with nutella was sweet but not overpowering, and had a richness that was consistent with every bite. Amazing.
Ohhh how l miss Papa's. That ricotta cheesecake has ruined me forever. I will never be the same now. I sometimes dream about that cheesecake. Someone please bring me that cheesecake. Pleaseeeeeee. Food here is great too. Outstanding in fact. They have a nice little area upstairs to enjoy the amazing food and treats.
Take away their signature ricotta cheesecake. Nothing like the regular New York cheesecake served in most cafe, the flavor and texture is kinda special. The ricotta cheese is heavy but also soft. The cinnamon add a delicate flavor. But the ricotta is really heavy, it's really easy to feel cloying. So I can't too much at one time.
We were in the area for lunch si decided to drop by to get a takeaway slice of ricotta cheesecake for dessert. We shared the slice between 2 people and we loved it. Not too sweet amd just yum!
Amazing sweets and great coffees! If you have sweet tooth or just feeling peckish papa's the place to go to. Its great as well if you want something to bring to a friend's place. Can be pricey but its worth if you only need to go once in a blue moon!
Located inside Norton Plaza, it's hard to walk past this cafe without being tempted by one of their many cakes, biscuits or pastries. The carrot and red velvet cakes were both nice and moist. Ricotta donut and cannoli had generous amount of filling and really delicious. Hot chocolate is good and coffee is ok. Ham and cheese toastie terrible - flavourless and dripping in oil, was not able to be picked up as it was so soggy, soaking through many napkins to pat out the oil. Best to stick to sweets here as they are definitely the highlight.
I love this particular papa as they always have got and fresh treats that are great for the whole family. I do however wish that they had more staff working as I always have to wait for a while to get served. But don’t get me wrong the wait is worth the while.
You need to try the ricotta cheesecake! It's smooth, not too creamy, not too sweet, aromatic and soft with a biscuit-like base.
It's not like the regular cheesecake where you feel sick, full and gross after a few bites. This cake is so delicious, I pretty much ate the whole slice to myself and wanted more after.
Even though its a busy store, service is still fast and there's a nice little dining area upstairs. The arancini ball had a nice little crunch to the outside and was filled with cheese and mushroom. It had great texture, flavour and balance.
I can't wait until next time I go to try the Nutella Ricotta cheesecake~
Good ice cream and good food. Parking is a hassle but everything else is great. The dessert are very fresh to me and the cakes are amazing, when we have birthdays we go to place to pick up the cakes!!!
I've only tried the cannoli, ricotta and Nutella cheesecakes - all of which are divine.
I find the experience of the store a little overwhelming as no prices are visible, some of the items aren't on display (but can be requested) and there's no queuing system.
Amazing ricotta cheesecakes are sold by Papa. These pastries are not too sweet, almost a perfect level of sweetness and the texture was beautiful.
Once again, parked under this in the complex and decided to not ignore it as we walked through. Got a double snickers waffle cone. Great salty caramel swirl. Really enjoyed it.
Famous for its baked ricotta cheesecake, Papa also offers a multitude of other sweet treats and on our last visit we had a pistachio biscuit, beignet, hazelnut gelato as well as the cheesecake.
At the Five Dock cafe, find a quiet spot upstairs to enjoy your coffee and cakes, away from the hustle and bustle of the hordes downstairs trying to order cakes and pastries to takeaway. There are plenty of comfy lounge chairs and table seating.

Again - papa knows best. This outlet is attached to the production factory. From humble beginnings Papa is now a big company.
Stopped in for a coffee and some cakes whilst on way out. Had a Nutella donut- I'm not 100% sure but the icing sugar on the donuts taste like the icing sugar you get when you buy a Panetonne cake so I assume all ingredients from Italy. Like I literally die and go to heaven with everything from Papa. Hands down my favourite.. And great coffee too
The baked ricotta cake here is the BEST!!! I can never pass by Five Dock or Haberfield without taking one home...simply because my wife will not let me in if I don't 😃 It's not just the cakes either...the assorted pastries and biscuits are all drool worthy & yummy! This is DEFINITELY not a place for calorie counters 😄
First time here. I tried Almond Croissant and Nutella Filled Donut, also the coffee.
The nutella donut pastry is so fluffy and so good, so does the croissant. The place's vibe was really nice. But make sure you come earlier on the weekend because it was pretty busy :)
They also have cookies display and breads as well as cakes.

Awesome Italian-style bakery (pasticceria) that sells many different types of drinks, cakes, biscuits, and pastries. I usually go here for the Italian biscuits such as the pistachio biscotti which is very very delicious!!! You must check this place out if you're around Five Dock.
This place is so consistent with their flagship store in Haberfield. Coffee here was brewed to perfection. Well worth the stopover. I'll definitely be back
To celebrate my birthday with some sugary delights, we popped in to Pasticceria Papa’s, which has recently opened a new location much closer to home in Five Dock! The famous ricotta cheesecake is always a must have, and we grabbed two slices! It was creamy and sweet, and the base was well cooked. The sprinkle of icing sugar and cocoa on top finished it off nicely, and each mouthful was addictive and more-ish. We also bought an assortment of shortbread biscuits. The flower shaped shortbread with jam in the centre was a highlight, as were the long fingers dipped in chocolate, with their melt-in-your-mouth softness perfectly contrasted with the rich chocolate.
All I have to say is - ricotta cheesecake.
You can never go wrong with something so amazing and perfectly crafted. These guys know how to work their ricotta
If you're looking for a dessert other than Papa's famous Ricotta Cheesecake, I'd recommend his Ferrero Mousse! It's light but so rich in chocolate and nut flavour.. The chocolate mousse is smooth and creamy in each layer and the chocolate biscuit base are so crumbly and buttery!
Very famous with their ricotta cheese cake but ferrero is even better! Love to have their cakes but cant enjoy standing long queue all the time.

When you utter the words Papa Pasticceria, the people in the know nod in agreement. Why? Because it's the cake to eat. It may not look all that fancy but it's all quality and class.
My first time was at a house warming. Like a noob I dove into a ricotta cheese cake and fell in love. Where have you been all my life I thought to myself... How can you be any better... dollops of Nutella to grace the cake is the simple solution... and what a heavenly pairing they make. These delicious cakes also get sold to many cafes as well as their own.This was the cake to wish my wife a happy 28 years of life and she loved every bite.
I've tried their ricotta cannoli and their tiramisu cake as well... they both were unbelievable. Despite them never picking up their phones, which is because their stores always seem to be full of customers, and when you finally get served, it's always friendly and as quick as they can humanly manage.
Seriously... that cannoli... I'm going to be dreaming about it tonight. Rush out and try one... and swing by and drop me off one for the tip =P
