Having eaten at Manmaruya Ashfield before, I didn't expect gourmet fare at the new Five Dock branch, but basically everything was off today. Nice Japanese restaurant in the inner west, competent food with a big menu, but nothing outstanding

We got takeaway, food was pretty great but the price is a bit higher than expected.

Delicious. Was very pleased with the extensive menu, friendly service and tasty food. Obvious care taken in food presentation and fresh ingredients. We had some salmon sashimi, spicy ramen and udon noodles - all delicious. Will be back to try more off the menu before long.
