A sister restaurant of the ones in Campsie and Ashfield. The menu doesn’t offer as much of a variety as the other stores but the standards of ramen and sushi platters are all there.
Hubby and I opted for ramen on a cold damp day, we were going to order one each, however we stumbled upon the “Godzilla Ramen”. There was a note next to the photo indicating $1 refund if you finish it alone. With that, it seemed to indicate that it may be enough for two so we ordered one of those, and a spicy tuna roll. (Trying to be frugal at the moment).
Godzilla ramen - deeelicious!! The ramen came with thick slices of charshu, chicken karage, teriyaki (?) chicken, egg, corn, bamboo shoots, black fungus strips in miso broth. Definitely filling for two!
Spicy tuna roll - as a person seeking the taste of a standard spicy tuna roll from Los Angeles, CA, this one was quite decent. Rather than a more minced type tuna, they did use chunks mixed with spicy mayo and Japanese chilli powder (Shichi-mi tōgarashi). It satisfies the craving.
Verdict - a good go-to for ramen and simple sushi
Love the terriyaki ramen especially in winter. Such a comfort food. Plenty of chicken and the broth and noodles perfect. Always get a side if chilli's to spice it up. My husband and daughter get the bento box and always pleased. Would love to try other dishes but we cant go past the ramen and bento!
I dined here on a Thursday night during the 10 year anniversary of the restaurant and was lucky enough to choose a day eligible for a 10% discount off the bill. For starters we had edamame and gyoza which were both cooked well and tasted delicious. For main course I had the Pork Soup Shio Ramen. The serving size was huge and I only ordered the regular size. The broth was flavoursome, there were plenty of toppings and noodles. I didn't actually eat it all but what i did eat i thoroughly enjoyed. It was a cheap night out costing around $20 pp with entrees, main and drink.
Great little find in Five Dock. Friendly staff and tasty noodles. Enjoyed the Pork soup and partner had the Spicy version. Both very tasty, soft silky noodles and generous portions. Will definitely come back.
We got takeaway, food was pretty great but the price is a bit higher than expected.

Delicious. Was very pleased with the extensive menu, friendly service and tasty food. Obvious care taken in food presentation and fresh ingredients. We had some salmon sashimi, spicy ramen and udon noodles - all delicious. Will be back to try more off the menu before long.
