Got in shortly before closing time, so just grabbed coffee. Staff were very nice about it. Coffee came out quickly. Tad hot, but tasted creamy and strong, just the way I like my coffee.
Will have to come back and try their pies sometime.
Excellent food, definitely will be back on our way through flinders, great atmosphere and friendly staff👌🏼I had the smashed avo with perfect poached eggs, my dad had the big brekkie. Both were 10/10
Bustling cafe located on the main strip on flinders. Upon initial looks, not overly flashy nor impressive but once you walk through the doors...it just feels charming. The open display of desserts is just so inviting. Excellent coffee and lemon cakes and chocolate fudgy cake to boot! Great cafe!!
Fantastic food fantastic staff. Have been going here since they opened and never had a bad experience. Food made with quality produce and love. Look out for their new delicious organic Acai bowls and a few new yummy raw treats. You will not be disappointed. As for Cristals review - all I can say is she must have personally been having a bad day because its a rubbish review! A place that is frequented religiously by the local community!
This was a really good find. It's a limited menu but what they do they do well. The beef on the Asian noodle salad was cooked perfectly and while I've never had pavlova with custard it worked really well.
SAUSAGE ROLLS. Sausage Rolls are absolutely amazing.
Wicked place! Stumbled a.... Wicked place!
Stumbled apon this cafe when I was down in flinders with a bunch of friends for a 21st on Boxing Day. And what I time we had! The two young baristas where flat out with orders and we did have to wait but they were very polite about it and the coffee was AMAZING! Well worth the wait. As for the food, the filled rolls we took with us were great and the muffins are so addictive (I think we bought 8). On top of the great service and amazing coffee/food, the vibe on the place was just awesome. Nothing that you would expect from a quiet coastal town like flinders. As we waited my friend almost passed out when a Detroit Swindle boiler room set came on! It's a new-style north Melbourne-esq cafe, in flinders! Well played Pier Provedore, you guys rock!
This cafe has the best coffee I've had on the Peninsula. I've tried to make a habit of coming here on Sunday mornings to grab one. I never often have breakfast as it can be pretty expensive. The staff are generally quite friendly. My only issue is the more frequent regulars have some kind of impression they run the place and have no problems clogging up a whole corner bench and two whole tables for three people. Dumping their jackets and whatnot down the bench and frowning at you when you ask them to move their things.
Been here a few times over summer, the service was great for how busy they were and the food was delicious! Try the gnocchi or the amazing fiscelles. Reasonably priced, and it's easy to find the cutlery. Will return next time I am in the country!
Love it. Low key, great tasting fresh food. If the make a mistake (like leaving the steak out of steak sandwich) they are more than happy to rectify with a smile and give you a bonus brownie!!! We are repeat diners!
Peninsula All Round Performer. Pier Provedore is certainly one cafe you'd make a special trip for.
Our morning cuppa, and If you're served by the evercheerful Stephanie your day will be off to a good start as she has great barista and people skills.
Flinders weekends over Summer are busy so we tend to enjoy Monday's for a full breakfast on the outside large communal table. Eat in or; Takeaway a yummy Scrambled Egg & Bacon warmed roll; soups or; Beef & Burgundy pies full of flavour & beef! Ficelles are filled with quality savoury fillings of Brie & Salad or Roast Beef & relish...
A daily selection of Cakes and Pastries showcase Lindy's skill and previous experience at Baker D. Chirico, Melb. Rhubarb & Raspberry atop a hazelnut meal crust or; a slice of Passionfruit Tart for afternoon tea make the Pier Provedore a Flinders Favourite.
A great cafe. Fantastic food, fresh, tasty, interesting and the owner is incredibly helpful. Not to be missed if you are in Flinders
What a delightful experience - both for food and service! We were served by a friendly and congenial young guy at the counter, who, despite serving a giant line of (sometimes difficult) customers on the busy Good Friday, gave really personable service. My oat latte was how I like it, with perfectly steamed milk and quality beans. Smashed avo with mushrooms was terrific - generous portion that rivals the best Melbourne businesses. Will be back!
Nice place to eat out, staff are polite and helpful. You can get a few different sandwitches, as well as the cafe's specials. Hot drinks and coffee are also available. There is also a nice backyard to sit in when the weather is OK. All in all I had a good experience 👍
Amazing brunch!!! The buttermilk pancakes are super fresh ...the best we've found in australia! Loads of fresh homemade pastries, pies, cakes and sausage rolls too ...highly recommend!
If you're popping by Flinders and looking for a meal this is a great place to get a sandwich or a meat pie. Had the sausage rolls ($6) and the steak sandwich ($21) and both didn't disappoint. Rustic place with a small backyard dining area. Definitely family friendly.
Such a vibrant cafe. The food and coffee were great and the staff friendly and accommodating. Lots of great spaces to relax with friends or the family - they even have toys in the back section for the kids. Highly recommend.
