First time visit for us, mixed entree was fabulous. Great food, generous portions and friendly service, what else is there to say. Highly recommended!
Amazing place! Great Panang Curry and Red Curry! So yum! The portions are big as well. BYO!
Very friendly owner and fast service! Don’t think twice about going somewhere else.
We popped in to Baihmon Thai a couple of weeks ago for a quick, no fuss dinner. We had red chicken curry, coconut rice and a serve of roti. It was DELICIOUS. So flavourful and just simply tasty. Generous servings too. Really enjoyed our dinner here.
we are locals and use their takeaway service a couple of times a month, generally on a Sunday night when all the tourists have gone home. The food is fresh, just off the cooker, has excellent flavours and (important to us) always contains lots of vegetables. This is genuine, very good Thai food that is perfect at the end of a busy weekend. Ray is a friendly, welcoming bloke, and while this is not "fine dining" it is delicious and great value. Strongly recommended.
Its a small and cozy place but the first thing you notice about the restaurant is its interiors. They quite justify the name and that also includes the choice of crockery used.
I started with a mini mixed platter which was delicious, followed by thai spicy fried rice and thai red curry with jasmine rice (no I don't eat that much, it was two of us). I had highly underestimated the quantity of the food which made us take thai red curry and rice back to our motel!
Although the fried rice was good but it somehow did not justify its name, it was not at all spicy! :-(
The thai red curry was just decent, nothing special about it.
Overall it was a good experience which was made better with excellent hospitality!
Great Thai food. Every meal we have tried here is great. Would highly recommend.
First timer. Had a truly wonderful meal. often feel ripped off by Thai restaurants but this was authentic, flavourful and appropriately priced. It will be a regular for us
I chose the ‘Pad Khee Mow with prawns – stir fried fresh chilli with soft flat noodles, egg, vegetables and Thai basil ($22.50)’. The dish was super spicy with a plentiful amount of large, succulent prawns.
Generous, tasty thai.. The pad mee and mussaman curry were great. The mussaman curry was very sweet but the beef was just melt in your outh...teeth not required. $45 for two mains and a small rice....generous serves so plenty of food for 2 people. Prices are completely in line with what is to be expected in the area.
Eat-in Menu Pricing. Our eat-in pricing is quite reasonable, our most expensive dish is Graprow Seafood at $32.50 This dish is quite big in size and seafood is very expensive. If you are going to eat in our Restaurant then it is your responsibility to check the prices of meals before you order.

The BEST Thai we've had!. As a woman whose allergic to fish Thai is always a tricky one and we came in as we were wanting something different to the pub food in the area and we had the best Thai in a long time..
The owners were very careful with my allergy and I had an amazing salt and pepper chicken dish that was fresh and tasty even without all the fishy stuff. My partner had the Pad Satay and some spring rolls and he was in heaven.. he isn't a huge fan of Thai yet here he said he would go back in a flash.
They also do a BYO which is great so we took in our own favourite. We are always in the area and will be back again soon on our next weekend down.
Really delicious. It's unusual to find a really really good Thai restaurant in the outer burbs, let alone in a little country town, which Flinders is, but Baihmon is excellent.
Tik's cooking is completely authentic, and she and Stan spend a long time sourcing good quality ingredients, mixing pastes and so on. They deserve to be a big hit with locals and holidaymakers.
There are very few eating spots in the area after dark, unless you're prepared to drive round winding and unlit lanes, so it's a great choice if you want a glass or three with dinner. We recommend booking as it's only a small joint. The welcome could not have been friendlier.
The menu choices are pretty mainstream, but Tik likes experimenting, and she's good, so if theyve got a special on the wall be brave and try it.
Probably the best restaurant in this tiny town of Flinders. Although there were very few vegetarian options, they made the ones we chose well. They were not authentic Thai but tasty, big serve at a reasonable price. Thank God, we found this restaurant.
Very tasty. No need to book. Very friendly service
Really good service. The gentleman at the counter was very patient with our large crowd and the food was plentiful and delicious! So glad we picked this spot. We had the Ted curry seafood, chicken with cashew and Thai friend rice! Yum!
Looking for a little variety from the wineries and local tasting plates? Then this little gem of a place in Flinders is perfect. Home style Thai made to a very high quality. The Pad Grapow was delicious as were the roti and seafood Tom Yum. Everything was fresh and tasted traditional. Friendly service to top it all off. Def worth a visit when next visiting the Peninsula.

Great place to eat out if you are in this part of town. The owner took in our specialty dietary considerations and the food was perfect.
