We stopped in today for lunch and wow , we were delighted by the fabulous service , young girl that served us was wonderful and catered to our needs completely ( my daughter is vegan ) nothing was too much trouble !
Then the food come out , YUM !!
What a little gem this place is , we will be back again
Amazing coffee and food and the staff were very accommodating of our last minute arrival!! Thanks guys :-)
I simply love this cafe. great service and wonderful food.
Thanks Xavier and staff for all your smiles and happy yummy food,
It’s made with love and You can taste it:)
One of my favourite lunch spots! Great coffee and iced coffee. Incredibly tasty food we had the pork taco and the corn fritters and couldn't fault either!
Great coffee great service. Thanks Kirwan you are the best
Seriously Amazing! Fantastic food & coffee, go for the Benedict!
Excellent service , our lunch grilled tenderloins with peanut sauce &Thai salad was sumptuous .
Excellent food, friendly service and a great vibe....and the coffee...oh the coffee...perfecto!
I came into this cafe today for the first time (as I don't live around the area). I was with my one year old son who happens to be anaphylactic to dairy and allergic to wheat. The girl who served me (a young girl with long dark hair) was really considerate when I asked about the ingredients of a cake. She wasn't sure so asked the cook / chef (he was the only male I could see behind the counter). This man contacted the person who makes the cakes to double check it would be ok for my son to eat! Service like this is amazing! Especially when I have to be sooooo careful about what my son eats. A big thanks to these staff members who made our morning tea enjoyable and safe for my son
We came here for brunch on the weekend and this cafe was totally packed. The coffee was really good here. The pulled duck dish was quite tasty. Service was friendly.
A random suggestion was given to us to visit this cafe for breakfast and we weren’t disappointed! So many of the menu items jumped out at me, making it difficult to decide. We both enjoyed our meals and will be back soon to try the rest!
Went for the first time in years since moving out of the area and was so thrilled that not only has it had a bit of a makeover, they’re still banging out amazing food! Shredded duck Benedict was lovely as were the scrambled eggs. Warm, friendly service just added to the fuzzy feelings. Will always go back.
Popped into this cafe to have coffee with a family member. As it was a sunny and nice morning, we sat outside. It’s a nice quiet street. Service was friendly and prompt. Nice coffee. I would return.
Came here for breakfast a while back and for some reason my review disappeared. The service was absolutely lovely. Food was delicious. They catered to my fussy needs of ordering only side dishes (I have coeliacs). Gorgeous cafe. Worth a visit.
This place is fantastic! The atmosphere is lovely. The service is wonderful and friendly and fast and the food, especially the duck, is divine. 5/5!
Fantastic suburban cafe! Super friendly and attentive service - we rocked up an hour early and they were very happy to seat us. Breakfasts are generous and delicious - fresh and tasty ingredients and interesting menu - keen to try the duck Benedict next time. The coffees were great too. Would definitely come here again :)
Great food, friendly staff, first time to this cafe and I absolutely love it! I ordered duck benedict and the taste of the combination of source and pulled duck is absolutely amazing. My friend ordered beef tacos and the beef is really tender and yum. The coffee is great as well. I really recommend it.
Just finished an awesome breakfast meeting here with my Husband. Food and beverages of a high standard. The waitress was OUTSTANDING ! So attentive and helpful with dietary concerns and outstanding service.
Located in a quiet tree lined street with seating in the shade outside or inside.
It has a quiet layer back funky feel.
Nice food with plenty of variety, servings are huge and reasonable prices. Staff are real friendly, serve the best Toby's Estate coffee I've tasted so far (nutty and full-bodied. Keep up the good work!
Middle of nowhere but worth the drive. Good stuff - tasty food, menu says what it is and it is what you get no bulldust explanations. Coffee is great and I had the French Toast for dessert - wow!! Things I overlooked but you may not... dog friendly if you sit outside, air conditioner is weak for a big space and the door is open so flies get in. Look past all this and you will love the food. Very tight menu with limited options but all very nice.
Good food and coffee. A varied menu some Thai some all day breakfast. Simple but comfortable decor. Efficient service and they allow bill splitting. Pretty enjoyable.
Hands down best breakfast burrito I've had in Perth. It's been so consistent too! Always busy for breakfast but efficient. Great to kick back and read the paper if you enjoy the bustle and can get a seat!
We got for breakfast somewhere different every Saturday and often come back here. A good place to have breakky. Great eggs benedict and a good muesli option
Big portions (barely finished my food), friendly staff, and not too crowded. Waited a little bit for the food to be served, but it was worth it.
Nice area too, went there on a misty and cloudy late morning, reminded me of my hometown village in Bali. Lovely!!
Took my mum here for coffee and lunch. It was delicious. I had the potato and leek bake with smoked salmon, a poached egg and hollandaise. It was absolutely mouth watering. We had a lovely time, although the coffee tasted a little burnt. Overall delicious and definitely coming back again!
This place has such an impressive breakfast menu! I had the paddock which was incredibly filling and worth the price. My poached eggs and fried bacon were cooked to perfection:) Definitely coming back!
Excellent service on a Monday morning, the coffee was great and the food good. I had the Baked beans with goats curd and added Chorizo. The dish was good but could have done with more seasoning. Will definitely be back.
We regularly visit this cute little café. There are 2 reasons why we go - the Grilled Ham Hock on Brioche and the Potato & Leek bake with bacon (substitute the salmon). My partner and I reckon they're the best 2 brekkie in Perth. The Corn Fritters are also pretty good and The Paddock is massive. Get in early in the weekends to ensure you get a seat straight away.
Love this place at a quiet corner of Floreat. Although the food presentation might not be as appealing to some other places, the portion is SO generous and SO delicious! You know what they say, never judge a book by
Warm friendly service and definitely some of the BEST scrambled eggs I've had in Perth! Also tried the vanilla bean panacotta with tropical fruit and granola which was okaaaay. Silky smooth panacotta but the pineapple in the dish was super sour and dry which let it down a bit.
My sister and I have brunched at fortysevenkirwan quite a few times now, and I plan to keep visiting until they bring back the giant homemade crumpet that was on the menu about 3 years ago :). Service is always pretty consistent and serving sizes are generous. My pannacotta was so smooth and delicious and the honey oat granola was even more amazing. Only complaint: the pineapple that was in amongst in the ‘tropical fruit’ was not very sweet… A more seasonal selection of fruit would have been preferable.
Came here for brunch on Sunday. Ordered the potato and leek bake with smoked salmon and hollaindaise and the corn and ricotta fritters with jalapeños, roast cherry tomatoes and sour cream. Absolutely delicious. Customer service was really good. Atmosphere was fantastic. Definitely worth a visit.
Amazing food, great service and atmosphere. Lovely staff and coffee was exceptional! Thank you!
(Pictures are of pulled beef brisket tacos and asparagus omelette - both delicious :D)
Very good local small cafe in Floreat. Can come with your pets as there is a few tables outside for them to sit under. Great coffee. Service absolutely amazing. Good food and they have lots of home made sweet and savoury treats.
Had a delicious breakfast here last week. The potato cake with smoked salmon and poached egg was very tasty and filling. My boyfriend had the corn fritters and they were even better! The location was nice and the service was wonderful too. I'll definitely go back.
Never disappointing. This place is always busy and there's a reason why. I had the pie of the say last time I was here and it was flaky and delicious.
Lunch here today was excellent, had the curried beef and sweet potato pie and would definitely recommend. The kids lunch box was a great idea.
I've been wanting to try Fortysevenkirwanstreet for awhile but it's a little out of the way for us so finally made the trip to meet my adult niece halfway between our homes for Sunday brunch this morning. Along with Mr Doe, Miss 3 and my niece we were quickly accommodated in an inside table with comfortable bench seating as it was a little bit of a grey Sunday morning. The staff were friendly, attentive and prompt in their service. The inside of the café is comfortable but starting to show some signs of wear and could use a little bit of TLC but really no biggie.
Food-wise I ordered the corn and ricotta fritters with roast grape tomatoes and jalapeño cream minus avocado and with the addition of bacon and it was excellent. The fritters were soft and flavoursome with the addition of spring onion in them, the tomatoes sweet and nicely roasted then the jalapeño cream balanced everything with a tiny bit of bite and was really delicious.
Around the rest of the table we ordered Miss 3 scrambled eggs which were demolished in record time and the staff were happy to accommodate half serving sizes for children which is always a bonus in my book to avoid food wastage. Mr Doe went with the full paddock which had nicely poached eggs, what he informs me were perfect mushrooms and average but nice enough chipolatas. My niece ordered the French toast with mascerated strawberries, vanilla bean marscapone and basil sugar. The French toast itself was excellent but the marscapone very sweet and overpowering with a lot of vanilla.
The serving sizes were all enormous and although the prices were towards the upper end of breakfast pricing the food was all excellent and justified the pricing point.
Probably the best new breakfast spot I've tried all year; will have to find an excuse to return :)

Excellent service and excellent food.My family went for a weekend breakfast and found the restaurant is very good. The running egg, the toast and especially the coffee. It is unbelievable. The staff there is very nice as well. My family will continue to visit this restaurant for sure
Usually really love this place but the ham hock breakfast was so salty that I just couldn't eat it. Super noisy, really busy as usual, nice local cafe. The grass/sand area out the front would be nice if a little care was taken and some grass was allowed to grow.
Our mini family came for a Saturday breakfast. We got in nice and early to beat the local/fitness crowd. The breakfast dishes were huge. Fruit toast for little miss was two massive slabs of packed and fluffy bread. I had the potato and leek bane, which could've done with a bit more seasoning and hubby had the pork terrine which was delicious with lashings of mustard. Kid friendly and quick, we'll be coming back.
I went to kirwan street cafe on Tuesday! I ordered one of breakfast which is paddock, and one cup of cappuccino, I have to say the food and coffee are very delicious! And by the way, Staff are friendly and attentive! I really love this cafe!
Busy local cafe envigorating the community. Good coffee, terrible parking. Friend L from Floreat is a regular and says coffee is consistently good.
It's a nice little cafe with great service. We stayed at the cafe for quite awhile after having our food as it was a comfortable area and the staff were friendly. The food was good and the sardine was surprisingly nice. It's a great place to catch up with friends.
Fortysevenkirwanstreet is a nice hideaway cafe. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, great coffee and a good menu choice. I would recommend the Potato and Leek Bake.
Super busy when we came for breakfast but they were more than happy to move seats around and find us a table :) lovely staff with great service, coffee and food came out together and I was so impressed with the time as I was happily expecting a substantial wait due to the volume :) few more things on the menu which took my fancy so I'll be back!
Have been here for breakfast, food was alright but not on par with some other breakfasts I've had in Perth. Nice and friendly morning crowd, was nice to see the staff had locals that they knew well and knew their order. May try again for breakfast, would have liked to see a couple of sweet options on the breakfast menu.
BEST BREAKFAST I HAVE EVER HAD IN PERTH! great quality produce! well priced! and innovative with their menu! I will be back to order the other amazing options on their seasonal menu. Do not miss out at breakfast at fortysevenkirwanstreet! and don't waste your money else where!
Issues of late. Been here at lots and always yummy for breakfast but there have definitely been some changes of late-is it because they opened a second location and perhaps paying less attention to this one? My only complaint is the long wait times on takeaway coffees, they just don’t seem to be able to handle takeaways the way some places can. Also why get rid of the breakfast burrito?! It was one of the best things on the menu!
Good range of options, lovely coffees and chai. The staff was very helpful. There's several vegetarian options on the menu, prices are all around $20 each. Pet friendly, lots of people with their dogs!
Very good!. Come here several times and every time is great! The corn frittas are very good! I just wish they still had the French toast
Nice but nothing special. Good food but quite similar to so many other Perth cafes. The service is a bit erratic - can be friendly but also can be incredibly patronising, with the wait staff explaining menu items like sandwiches or pies as though they are complex concepts which your average customer would struggle to understand. Portions are quite small given the prices. Maybe I'm just not enough of a western suburbs type to appreciate this place.

My favourite breakfast location. Fortysevenkirwanstreet is my favourite breakfast location. I always order the same thing, scrambled eggs on toast with a side of bacon and spinach. they also do great chai latte's, but make sure you order a mug for a decent size.
Breakfast to die for. WOW this place is fabulous. I had the grilled mushies on parmesan brioche, caramelised onions, goats cheese and endive and it was simply spectacular! Service was prompt, coffee was great and the loaf of bread that I had been eyeing off all morning and decided to buy to take home was mind-blowingly delicious. I want to eat here every day.
Just discovered this place, can't believe I haven't heard of it sooner. Had breakfast, the mushies on Parmesan brioche, really divine. Coffee is fantastic, service excellent also. Will be coming back soon!!!!
Was Amazing!. The Gnocchi
Coffee I travel for!. I used to live in Floreat and now live near Joondalup. I still drive down there for the coffee when I can. So so so tasty! The food is delicious too and great at the weekend!
Corn fritters were fresh and tasy, potato and leek dish a bit bland but perhaps that's to be expected given the ingredients. Downside? The wait for coffee was extraordinary and it was a tad over-roasted. Would venture there again to try some of the other offerings.
I love this place. You will not find nicer staff in Perth. They are brilliant. And their coffee is my fave (& I know coffee). I had the corn and ricotta fritters the other day - delicious. And the muffins are always popular with my family. Lovely cafe.
Great breakfast. Managed to get us in on Mothers' Day. Thanks Simon.
Without doubt the best breakfast and coffee I have had in Perth!!!!!
Great to find a clued up barista who knows a piccolo is not a " short mac topped up " . Well done 47!!!!
Babin' Breakfast. Breakfast here is excellent. I had the parmesan brioche with mushrooms and it was so delicious, I could eat it for lunch and dinner as well. Probably the best mushrooms I have ever had. The brioche was really tasty too.
This place is extremely popular, but we didn't have to wait too long for a table. Good, efficient service which makes waiting for breakfast less painless.
Reasonable price and great food. My boyfriend's fish tacos was delicious, so was my chicken salad. Lovely staff and great service.
Really very good. The food is all beautifully cooked and presented. The wait staff are friendly and efficient. The chairs and banquette are comfortable and the light filled cafe has a delightful old fashioned atmosphere which is tricky to describe except to say it reminds us of the old corner shop with the tinkly bell, only there is no bell just the smell of baking and chatter. Really delightful.
Tried the Bircher muesli... It was ok. Not the best one I was expecting, but the apple chips on top were quite nice. Quick service on a busy Sunday morning. Well done!
Service is a bit slow & they need to smile more! But the food was amazing!!!!! Great serving size. Tasty.
It was good but I wouldn't say great.
It has a great buzz about it but it is very noisy not some where to relax. As they don't take bookings people are witibg for the tables and the staff are not afraid to tell you that. In saying that the locals didn't seem to mind, taking it in there stride.
Breakfast is breakfast in most cases. They have a few different items on the menu one being pork belly another corn frittas both of theses were delicious a bit on the small size for the price. TE coffee however was outstanding
A buzzing cafe hidden away in floreat. Great discovery, fantastic food, coffees and service. Will be back!!
Love!!!. Fantastic Café! Gorgeous Bright Café, Very Nice Staff, Yummy Coffee, Yummy Food! Will definitely be back!
Worth checking out if you're in the neighbourhood!. Cute little cafe tucked in the suburbs that would fit right into Leedy or Mount Lawley. Service was attentive and coffee pretty damn good. Food was also above average, but then I'm a sucker for corn fritters!
First timers -'Amazing experience. Our first time at this cafe, recommended by our amazing Barista at Low Down in the city,. Living in Subiaco where it is difficult to find gret coffee, we had morning coffee there yesterday.
Amazing coffee and food, but what the seven iof us were so impressed with was the brilliant staff, nothing was too much trouble. Going back for breakfast today because it was so good.
So good! Breakfasts the likes of which I haven't seen since Tarts. Best coffee in Perth. They know how to do crispy bacon too :)
Yum. Welcoming, friendly staff.
The breakfasts I have had here have been amazing.
Love everything about this place.
Enjoyable. Late morning on a Saturday we landed a table for two without a wait. The place was bustling and had a good vibe. There was a solid line up for takeaway coffees which we were happy to see, as they must make a good one! Our orders were taken and then we were asked to move tables to accommodate a bigger group. Not ideal but what can you say. So we moved tables and settled in.
25 minutes later my coffee still had not arrived so I asked the question, it appeared shortly after. The waitress then bought the wrong meals to our table, shortly after our correct meals arrived. Apart from these few minor issues the place was great.
The food was a highlight with the breakfast plate (toast, preserves, boiled egg and Bircher muesli) looking the goods. The Bircher muesli (the full serve order) was an average serve size but had all the ingredients of a top dish. It was topped with sliced apple and honey.
My mug of cappuccino was quality. The perfect amount of froth and a smooth tasting coffee. This kept me satisfied despite the long wait.
Overall our breaky was most enjoyable. I like how the cafe is away from other shops and it clearly has a good following.
So good to see decent service does exist in Perth, good coffee ( which arrived before the food - as it should) and big breakfast was awesome. Please open more of these restaurants.
Great. Awesome menu, can't go wrong...I've been there 3 times now and felt compelled to write a good review....
I'm a big fan of this cafe.
Apparently the girl who owns Kerman st cafe used to own chi chi....and sold it 6 months ago...no wonder chi chi is dropped in quality lately..
Yum yum yum!! Great service. Didn't have to wait long for a table.
Went here for brekky with the temporary bf. Nice place, could do with a bit more decorations. Very generous portions for the price! I had a crab omelette and the bf had a full breakfast. We both couldn't finish it. Would have like a bit of sauce though, both our brekkies could have done with maybe a chutney/aoli anything really. But all and all a great place!!
Love it - Brilliant place to take friends and showcase a great coffee in Toby's Estate...
Great coffee. Went for coffee and breakfast with a friend and 3 children. Service was very welcoming and lovely. Coffee was great as was the mushrooms on brioche and the corn fritters. Has a lovely playground behind the restaurant for the kids.
I think happy might be an understatement. Visited this fatastic cafe after Garden Week, looking for a light lunch with my girlfriend. What a find. The service was fantastic, the food delicious and coffee very nice. It is refreshing to see the care taken to provide an enjoyable experience for its customers. This cafe will definatley become a regular stop for my family who frequently use Challenge Stadium.
