Review Small Graces - Footscray

Phil Malone
Great cafe experience in the heart of Footscray Not a lot of seating, but worth even having to wait. The apple crumble waffle is the BEST for a sweet breakfast, there are plenty of savoury brunch options as well. The staff are welcoming and friendly. Definitely give this place a visit.

This place is a really cosy little cafe! Coffee here is great. Brunch here is a quite good too, they have great options for vegans however I still needed a side of bacon/mushrooms for more flavour. Staff were friendly :)

Ate at Small Graces twice in last 6 days, on Monday 13th and today. On Monday had the extremely moreish Huevos Pericos - Colombian style scrambled eggs with corn cakes, cheese and avocado. I could have added chorizo but didn't. Very tasty meal. My coffee was sublime. Returned again today and had a light lunch - the Bacon & Egg Roll with cheddar cheese and housemade tomato kasundi. Simple, but again very tasty. Coffee again sublime. Both experiences very pleasant and enjoyable and the staff were friendly and efficient. Will definitely return.

The food and service here are always top-notch. I don't drink coffee, but friends I went with said it was great. I give 4 stars not 5, because I think it's a bit expensive, especially to add sides. But it's still a great place - I have been multiple times and will be going back again.

Stopped by for a quick pick me up late in the day. I just had a coffee and some sweets take away, but the caramel cake from the counter was amazing!!! Coffee was very good too, and staff were patient and friendly. Very dangerous, having such a yummy afternoon treat so close by!

I'm so impressed with this cafe! The food was delicious, the coffee was great and staff was very friendly! The staff recommend Huevos Pericos (Colombian scrambled eggs) and what an amazing dish this was. Very unique flavour. Also tried the Fancy Banana bread and it was indeed dressed quite fancy :) Definitely visiting again to try out the toasties.

Best Coffee I had after a long time. The food was amazing. We ordered Mushrooms on Hommus which was amazing and also the popular Huevos Pericos which seduced us with its different flavours. Overall a great experience. I loved the coffee so much that I took a takeaway while leaving.

Love this place! Small Graces is our fave cafe in Melbourne - the staff are so lovely, the set up is great, and that food and coffee is to die for every single time! The selection of treats is endless, with a huge range of delicious veg and vegan options. I can never go past poached eggs with greens, and the best granola going around...
Gabrielle Lindsay
This place! The absolute best in Melbourne for brekky and a house made chai! Bec the owner is so lovely and her passion for creating an amazing cafe culture is evident in all the detail, Diego the wizz chef is a laugh and a half and makes the most tasty morsels in town and the super staff like Jackson make it the most cool place to hang and eat. The carrot cake is addictive too, two pieces in two days hahaha! Will literally take every single friend in Melbourne here 😎😎
Riki Lindsay
Absolutely love this place!! Super cool vibes, amazing staff and most importantly probably the best coffee I've had in Melbourne! Can't rave enough about these guys, thanks so much for your incredible service, food and coffee! 😊

We had an incredible feast! I was so impressed with the food. An absolute hidden gem.Such high quality food made with care. I got to indulge in all my favourites- Aperol spritz, oysters, truffle, brownies. I will be back and so should you. Xoxo

Most amazing new little place filled with fresh wholesome food that's even good for you, what more could you ask for, the service is top notch and the chef 👌🏻👌🏻 Can't wait to go back and try a few more of the goodies on the menu

One of the best Chai Lattes I've had in a long time. Relaxed atmosphere to catch up with friends. Super friendly staff - definitely recommend! 😊

A meal at Small Graces is like a meal with the very best of friends. Scrumptious food, delightful setting and company, and memories that are always recalled with a smile. Thank you, Diego and Bec, for bringing your magic to Footscray.

One of the best cafe meals I have had in a long time. The staff were amazing and it was a great place to spend a wet and windy Saturday morning. The Flat White is highly recommended.

Fabulous addition to the Footscray food scene. Great coffee and absolutely delicious food....yum yum yum!!! Good prices too!

Expert baristas, very knowledgable. Food very cleverly put together with seasonal ingredients sourced as locally as possible. Love the mix & match menu style, perfect for eating at any time of the day. Relaxed atmosphere, great service. ideal brunch spot in Footscray!
Yosl Cylich
Simply wonderful food. Dinner service started a month ago and you have to try it. Can't emphasise enough how amazing the 'feed me' option was. A feast chosen by the chef with decadent flavours and well thought out quantities. You won't regret going for it.
Sam Hatzi
Where to start... The one hour wait for the food or the hair I found on my poached egg? If the food was outstanding, I could almost forgive the wait time, but it was somewhere between sub par and run of the mill. The actual star you get is for the hot choc. Far better options exist in Footscray and surrounds, I myself won't be back.
Andy Sutherland
Amazing coffee, warm surrounds, easy parking above cafe, great service and if someone can poach an egg better than these guys I would be surprised.
Andy Donker
Awesome vibe, really friendly staff and some cracking vegan options. Will definitely be back!
Nell Wilson
Great food, coffee, friendly and attentive service. Well worth a look, welcome to the neighbourhood!
Leon Gammon
I ordered the eggs benedict (ish) and a side of smashed avo and it was delicious. Nice coffee too.
Rebecca Lawson
Amazing food, coffee and service!!! Mushroom ragout was incredible, I felt like I was treating and nourishing myself at the same time. The kids loved the sweet potato waffles. Win win for everyone!!
Nicole Smith
Some much flavour! Delicious loved the look of the place as well!
Alëxandra Cowan
Food is very average. Cheese toastie has a really bad after taste. Would recommend only coming for coffee.

A great little find in the heart of Footscray!
We ordered the mushroom gnocchi and the huevos pericos which were both served super promptly despite the business of Sunday brunch.
The gnocchi was delicious, with Brussel sprouts and a Parmesan crisp thing which really sealed the dish. The huevos pericos was ok but I probably wouldn’t order it again.
I also ordered a coconut matcha latte and it was great. Not grainy at all like some I’ve had.
Overall a nice little place in footscray. Super cosy, cute & comfy decor and friendly service!

A lot of hype for this place but left disappointed that they did not offer bacon to go with my eggs on toast. In addition, instead of providing complimentary tomato sauce, suggested we pay for tomato chutney. We also order a side of the bulgolgi korean short ribs which was the most disappointing, it came out off the bone, thinly sliced and no way was it bulgolgi.

Good points were the atmosphere and coffee but sorry to say but I won't be returning.
Claire Yuen
Very cozy cafe with a great ambience and fantastic food. I ordered the huevos pericos w added chorizo and chai latte. The eggs were well flavoured and spiced. The chorizo was also very good. service was polite.
Diana Quach
Loved the spacious ambience in this cafe. Wonderful coffee (honestly thought it was one of the best cups of coffee I have ever had) and food was ok. I love mushrooms! So what I ordered suited my needs.
RM
Wanted to try this out as the chef used to work with Annie Smithers..we ordered the kimchi Eggs Benedict, rice pudding and raisin toast. Every dish was great but Raisin toast was probably the best I have had..sometimes simple is the one to have! Will go back for sure!
Ritika
Cozy and homely place in Footscray with great ambience. Food was different and delicious. The Mushroom gnocchi was excellent. Perfect coffee. The staff was warm and welcoming.

I went on a sunny day, the shop was quite busy. I had kimchi benny. It was good and flavourful. However, the drawback comes from the wait. We waited a really long time for 4 dishes to come out (people around us have left already)
Withaknifeandfork
We loved 😍
This cafe is pet friendly so we had a little pet date. We ordered the sweet potato waffles which were presented very nicely and it was paired very well with sesame icecream.

We disliked 😖
The mushroom on toast was a little plain.
Isabelle
I use to go here quite a lot as I work nearby and I’d say they see me 2-3 times a week. But I’ve stopped going since I noticed not once do they really greet me and see I’m a loyal customer. Nice choices on the menu but overly priced and average coffee.
I’d say step up your service game and I’d come back.

My score 3.5 stars. J & I had brunch here on Thu 9th of May - a rare thing for us these days, but we had some stuff to attend to early (nearby).

A small cozy interior - about the same number of seats outside, but it was the first cold day of the season & no-one was braving it! 🥶

Our drinks order was taken quickly & water was brought to us soon after. 👍 However, our coffee/tea took ages to arrive 👎 – it felt like TA coffees (of which there were quite a lot) got preferential treatment. The M + F serving us were very nice though… 🙂

J had Poached eggs & greens ($17) > Hollandaise was nice, overall fairly salty 👎 (maybe because of the miso)? One egg was a bit too runny, the other one was good. The toasted bread was quite nice – sourdough multi-grain/seeded. Fried shallots on top of egg was good; kale, cubed broccoli stalks & florets nice too. 👍

I had Poached eggs + added mushies ($11) > Both eggs good. Mixed mushrooms were nice, but would have preferred larger dark field mushrooms (al la Butcher 128), rather than small button ones. However, the Enokis gave a nice flavour. There were lots of pine nuts, but they didn't taste like they were toasted (or toasted enough?) & so not that flavoursome! The added mushies were a small serve for $5.50 (IMO) – maybe due to the PN's & Enokis? Same bread as J’s, but mine was toasted a bit too lightly & was hard to cut through.

I also had 2 full cream flat white coffees which were ok.

J had Earl Grey tea which was in her words “flagrantly un-fragrant" 😄 – a generous amount of milk provided though (unlike some places). 👍

Overall: 1 tea, 2 coffees & 2 brunch meals at $45 was a bit steep for what we got IMO, but we aren’t brunch aficionados anymore, so this may be standard pricing. I wouldn’t drag myself out of bed for this TBH, but everyone else at SG’s seem to be having a nice relaxed time…

A cafe in Footscray with friendly service, dog friendly, and very flavourful meals? Small Graces certainly delivers this and more!

Set amongst a cascade of food options, Small Graces is a little pocket of goodness offering some delicious coffee; notably a very frothy and milky chai latte! Today some friends and I ordered the steak and eggs which went down a treat. The sauces used culminate a unique, salsa-like fragrance against the delicious sour dough bread, avocado and steak. The steak meat is cooked medium rare (perfect for my liking), and goes very well with the meal. Each bite is full of flavour, an enjoyable cafe visit for sure and one that deserves recommendations.

Great coffee, great food and great homely service make this a wonderful cafe to visit for all!

Food: 4/5
Service: 4/5
Ambience: 4/5
Value: 4/5

Overall: 4/5

It was a freezing day. I stumbled upon this little cafe by accident as it's near my next meeting. I was greeted warmly by a lady. I didnt order any food but the coffee really hit the spot. Not sure if it's my imagination but the coffee have a hint of cinnamon and honey.

The food was so comforting and delicious! Good coffee, great options for lil kids as well! Bonus points for pleasing aesthetics. A hidden gem

Saturday morning brunch. Finding a car park was hard with so many people visiting Footscray Market. There’s a multi deck car park on top of Small Graces if you’re stuck.
It’s a small cafe with seating indoors & out.
Staff were wonderful with greeting us as soon as we entered, finding us a table, catering for a high chair & even brought a toy to the table for the little one.
Prompt coffee order taken. Seating can get a bit tight so it was great that staff brought water to the table.
Nice coffee with slight nutty flavour.
Food was brilliant. Thoroughly enjoyed it & could not fault it. Would come back for sure.
Small Graces is one of the better cafes in Footscray when it comes to food quality. As locals to Footscray we have visited Small Graces on numerous occasions with friends and family as well as just for brunch together or alone. Unfortunately our rating is a reflection of the inconsistent service we receive. It seems as though the larger our group and thus more money we spend reflects the quality of service we receive. On top of this I cannot help but mention I am made to feel uncomfortable as someone who does not fit the image of one of their loyal customers who drinks their funky juices and brings theirs dogs with them at 7am.

The final straw for me was seeing a girl and her father (I believe they were Filipino) be asked to leave the cafe because the father had brought a Vietnamese roll to eat with his daughter whilst she had ordered a full meal as well as two of their juices from them for herself and the father. There is no signs indicating that you cannot bring outside food or drink in and on top of this I have seen many people eat their own food and drink in the cafe. I feel like it was totally unfair and the pair ended up having to take away their food and juices.

I understand Footscray has become much more gentrified and this has brought in a lot of business but you cannot treat the people who were here first; who are willing to try and give you business, with any less respect than the customers you may be targeting. Every restaurant in Footscray accepts everyone and anyone equally and that is how the community thrives and what we love so dearly about our suburb. Will be avoiding the cafe from now.

Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Taste: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Ambiance: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Value: ⭐️⭐️⭐️

A small local cafe serving brunch and now dinner! The service was quick and enthusiastic. I had the Roast Beef Toastie. It was delicious, but a tad too greasy for my liking. My friend had the Benny XO. It tasted like normal Eggs Benedict with XO sauce. It would’ve been better if there was more of the sauce. Overall, a great place to catch up with friends.

3.5
Small Graces is in the wrong spot.
Coffee in Footscray should not be this good.
Great service in a really confined premises with professional courtesy and attention.
The meals are pretty damn good too.
Dani-licious
Last night a group of friends enjoyed the four course chef's "Feed me" dinner. There were hits & misses but overall good value. The pork belly had good crackling and tender meat but the lamb was served well done and as a result very dry. Surprisingly the warmed sicilian olives (and I hate olives) were delightful. The gnocchi sweet dish was curious and needed a sauce. Service was timely & friendly and the decor was light, bright and comfortable at our large table
Eat. Sleep. Create. Repeat.
Cosy setting. Friendly staff. Tasty Coffee. Cocktails available. Great to share and chat with a few friends. I want to rate 3.5; reason to select 3 instead 4 because no dinner menu and ordering lots of sharing plates will get pricy.
Feast Meets West
Came on a Sunday afternoon around 12:30 and wasn’t busy until it picked up around 1:30ish. Staff were friendly but food took a little while to arrive. Ordered Arepa con queso (cheese-filled corn cake) and the Haloumi, baharat, honey and walnuts dish for sides, and for mains I ordered the Salmon & Danish Rye and my boyfriend ordered the special: Turkish bread with slow cooked pork, aioli, fried eggs and roast potatoes. Our coffee orders arrived quite quickly but they forgot about my juice until after I reminded them when the food came. One latte had about 2cm of froth and both didn’t have a nice smooth surface, you can see the large bubbles in the pic. Given the quiet time we arrived, we waited over 30 mins for the food. Unfortunately the food overall lacked flavour. The salmon dish was very stingy for the main element and while pretty on the plate, had no wow factor. Nothing seemed to stand out in flavour. The Special was about the same, but had a tasty aioli but was only spread on one piece of bread. The potato needed seasoning. The haloumi dish was ok but had honey so that over took what would usually have a nice saltiness. The corn cake was confusing. Didn’t taste like corn cake and the cheese was almost baked into it so no apparent cheese flavour or texture. It actually was quite doughy for me and only had one bite. I feel bad for the rating because I’d actually do 2.5 if possible but I’m a local and this was just 1 visit. I put it down to friendly staff, great atmosphere/fit out but with new establishment kinks.

A cute little cafe quietly tucked away in the Footscray neighbourhood. Despite the tiny venue, it was full on a Saturday morning.

The brunch menu is quite unique, offering a selection of small dishes which you can choose yourself to build your own breakfast. We opted for their larger dishes - the gnocchi & shrooms, the salmon & danish rye, and the benny xo. The salmon dish was rather plain and lacking flavour. The benedict was alright, but it was slightly too oily for our liking. Of the three dishes we ordered, the gnocchi was definitely the best one.

Although the staff are extremely friendly, the service was rather slow, and the food took quite a while to come. My coffee was cold too.

Overall, it was a decent meal, but nothing too special to return for. It is still one of the only few brunch options available in the area.
Foodlicious
Small graces was a small cafe. Super cosy (slightly cramped). I was drawn to the Asian fusion brunch menu and was attracted to the Benny xo (eggs Benedict with xo sauce) overall the flavours worked well and the hollandaise sauce was fresh but slightly bland. Eggs were cooked well and the pork tasted like char siew. The toast was chewy and hard to cut into even with my knife. Overall I would give it a 3/5 for the uniqueness. My friend ordered the gnocchi which was very nice-it was cooked well and had lots of flavour. I would come again and probably order the gnocchi haha. Good service as well

It’s not everyday you stumble across a very vegan friendly cafe in the Western suburbs. I was very impressed with my vegan sandwich and the coffee was perfect 👌🏾. I was very excited about not having to explain my order or modify it in any way. I’ll definitely come back to try more options.
Brunos Food Safari
Came here with another couple last weekend. We were lucky to have the corner seats inside where we could tuck our kids away from the cold as it was very windy that morning. Food and coffee was good. Nothing outstanding but was serviceable for a brekky feed for me. I would of gave a 3 but because everyone else enjoyed the fare I gave a four instead.

You don’t usually find brunch in footscray but when you do it’s good! Such a cute cafe with great service and food.

Loved their roasted pumpkin with hummus and grain salad. Perfect for a winters day.

Staff are really nice and friendly, coffee is always on point! Blueberry and chocolate muffin is to die for. Decor creates a really homie feel

Ordered an almond milk cap and a vegan toastie. Absolutely delish! Great, fast and friendly service. Would definitely come back regularly as I am a local. Fairly priced and cool atmosphere.
Lyn
Had the worst ice chocolate there. The barrista did not dissolve the chocolate powder with hot water but tried to mix it with the cold soy milk .... i payed $5.50 and waited 10 minutes for a cup of soy milk with lumps of chocolate powder on the top.

Small Graces is a nice little Aussie cafe behind the busy Barkly St in Footscray which is dominated by Vietnamese cafes. It was quiet when we got there on Sunday morning but the cafe started to fill up by the we leave. It has interesting menu and good variety of small dishes which you can create your own for breakfast. We ordered the house made haloumi, braise mushrooms with sour dough from the small dishes and sweet potato waffles to share. The coffee didn’t look properly textured when it arrived at our table but it tasted alright. The sweet potato waffles was beautifully presented but it was a little heavy and the black sesame ice creams could use a bit more sweetness to balance the flavour. Nice touch with the dried freeze strawberries on the waffles. Will come back to try the other food and beverages.
FiestyFoodie
Came in for breakfast and staff were all gathered talking to a visit friend, they even stopped working and sat down to chat with other friends. It was quite busy at the time, some smiled and acknowledged me and continued their conversation with their friend.

Soy milk was really thick and glugy, I have soy regularly and have never encountered this.

Menu is quite confusing, Asian/Mexican/Italian based meals. Feels limited seeing as there are only a handful of options.

Staff were bubbly and friendly, real nice change to be served by people who have personality. Will definitely be back!
Victoria.h.pappas
Every time we come we’re treated like part of the family. Great vibes, cute decor and the food is perfection. You’ll struggle to find a better breakfast in Melbourne 👌
Teeny Reeny
I can't fault this place - the food is delicious, the coffee is superb and the service always friendly and polite. Best breakfast in Footscray, highly recommend a visit.
Rice Ball
The cafe is really gorgeous and had a welcoming, indie vibe which I really liked. Staff members were super friendly and patient.
I ordered the Eggs Benedict-ish ($17.00) which is supposed to be pork and crackling with poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. It wasn’t amazing to be honest. All I could really taste is the sauce which tasted a bit like yoghurt. The crackling wasn’t really cracklings in my opinion. And I don’t like the way the pork was just sliced on, maybe pulled pork would have been more interesting. It was decent but it wasn’t the best pork eggs benedict I’ve had.
My friend has scrambled eggs your way with mushrooms extras and it was quite nice.
Overall it’s a decent brunch place.
Miriam Haug
The staff was super friendly and the cafe looks wonderful. Very comfortable seating and a generally great spot for breakfast or lunch, whether you are by yourself or with friends (like I did). We had the sweet potato waffles and the kimchi scramble with tofu and they were incredibly delicious. They have a large selection of coffee and a very vegan friendly menu which was much appreciated by all of us.
Sherz
Coffee here is pretty good - a lot of good coffee shops are popping up all over Footscray though so stiff competition.
I've probably minused a point / half point as they charge card fees.
@HappyEats
Had the heirloom mess with almond feta which was nice and the veggies were fresh but I found the toast a bit dry. My almond chai was really nice and my favourite thing about the place was admiring the staff; our waitress had such a quirky sense of fashion, hairstyle and earrings! They have a unique menu so I’d be happy to come back to try more.
Jon Elison
Love this cafe. Friendly staff and a warm atmosphere. Good coffee too. Food varies but is always OK and a few really tasty dishes. All round, it really works well and I enjoy coming here.
Abe.pandey
Had an ice latte here which was good. The service was a bit slow, the food took 25 minutes to come out. The kimchi eggs was really good nice flavour, decent portion and looked great on a plate. Good venue.
Egg Is Okay
Service was friendly, food didn’t take too long either which was good considering how busy it was.

Had the eggs and greens. Eggs were poached very well with a gooey yolk. I expected a little more greens and broccoli. The miso toast was surprisingly tasty. The chai latte was nice and creamy, however I was expecting a teapot and strainer since it was described as ‘brewed tea and spices’.
My partner had the tacos. He said it was real yummy. Portion size was a bit on the smaller side. The lemon wedge was super tiny. Could only get a few drops of lemon juice. Maybe it was just for decoration.

A nice addition to Footscray. Would love to try the mushrooms next time.

Thefifth_element
Super impressed with this place! Mushroom ragout is delicious and so is the kimchi scramble. The smoothie I had was also delicious and I love that there are so many veg/vegan options. The owner is super lovely. We did have a pretty average waiter the first time I went (a guy who seemed like he couldn't really be bothered and didn't put in any effort, plus gave incorrect info about which cakes were vegan) but the other staff more than made up for it as they were all extremely friendly, knowledgable and helpful. Unfortunately the cakes are not as nice as the main though.
Brian Flanagan
Great new addition to Footscray. Staff are super friendly. Fit looks fantastic. Food and Coffee are to a very high standard! Love how it’s nestled into the heart of Footscray. Can’t wait to go back.

Refreshing little place unexpectedly in footscray!
•••••
Their banana smoothie was devine!
•••••
Definitely coming back for more delightful looking dishes!!
Lordmegatron
Excellent coffee! I had the sweet potato waffles with black sesame ice cream which was delicious and not too sweet or sickly like some “sweet breakfasts” can be. Not sure how busy it gets as I went on a weekday brunch time. Really loved the old school tunes being played too. Can’t wait to go back with my hubby.
WestSlice
Really enjoying this addition to Footscray. Right in the heart of the suburb, around the corner from the Saigon Market this place is adding some much needed alternatives to the few cafes we have. SG’s offers up a really good mix of option with plenty to chose from for the GF & DF diners. The ‘Can’t decide’ is a great option for a sampler and the coffee is on point.
Mtr
Ordered the eggs with greens, nothing special. The chai latte also was a big let down :( points go to the good service and cute interior and pillows
Michelle Louise
Finally a cafe close by that offers epic vegan options! Super cute space, warm & friendly staff and the food is delicious af. Sweet potato waffles and tumeric& cocoa latte combo was A+.
Amysyder
The food here was delicious and the staff were lovely, very attentive. Most meals were, or could be made vegan! I had the sweet potato waffles with black sesame ice cream which was delicious 10/10, a good size for a decent price. It came out very quickly.
The decor was stylish and modern with a cute little seating area out the front. A great little find in the middle of Footscray.
Laura Seymour
Beautiful little cafe in Footscray. This cafe offers a range of vegan options including main meals and sweets. The menu is wonderfully thought out with heaps of options! I had the sweet potato waffles which are vegan so a dairy free option. They were amazing! Loved the flavour combinations! I would highly recommend but it may be an idea to call ahead as getting a seat may be difficult.
Full Puku
Vegan options galore! Ordered the mushroom ragout - was presented beautifully. Lacking seasoning but super delicious. Matcha latte was a+! Such a great cafe, will definitely go again.
Melbourneats
We decided to try out the salmon toasties. Very hot and freshly made. It goes great with the salt and pepper they provide on each table. It was close to being fulfilling but it would have been great if there was a small side of anything.
The toastie was delicious but we could definitely tell there was way too much oil smothered on the bread. It didn’t make the toast soggy surprisingly but it was a lot of oil for a toastie that’s healthy let alone a toastie itself. Our napkin was smothered with oil later on. Although this cafe is still new, they were slow on coffees, we didn’t get our coffee until after we finished eating, I hope they can improve the speed up with their beverages. The latte didn’t do it for me. I’m not sure what it was but the coffee wasn’t the best we had.
However we are glad that Footscray is finally stepping up and hope to return soon to try other options on the menu!
Take your lover, friends and family here for some brunchin in Footscray.
Jim Michael Siamsiaras

Love, love, love this new cafe in Footscray. I had the sweet potato waffles with black sesame ice cream for brunch the first time I ate there with 2 of the most delicious chai's I have ever tasted. The freeze dried strawberries served with the waffles were an out of the ordinary touch - lots of thought went into putting the dish together I think. The staff are super friendly and helpful and I had a cosy cushiony nook to myself to get away from it all for a while; bliss. I've also had a stunning pumpkin soup with great depth of flavour and super fresh salads. I think this place is a little gem for Footscray and I will be eating there often.
Michaela Watson
Had a delicious breakfast of the mushrooms and a side of salmon. Both were so good! We got cheesecake to takeaway for later but it was too good it didn’t last the trip home :)
Lucy Tessmann
i love that there is somewhere so close to home where i can go for great coffee and salads that are actually really delicious. Great for breakfast and baby friendly. Really lovely place
Hgobinds
Excellent attention to detail, colour, texture, and taste. Also coffee's great and the staff friendly. And there's a good selection of non caffeinated drinks 👌

This place is a home away from home. It was so cozy and a very welcomed addition to the West!

The coffee is awesome and the menu accomodates for everyone with plenty of vegan and wholefood options - a bit different for Footscray! We had a table of 6 and everyone was very contended with their selections. I took home one of their housemade desserts which went down a treat.
Looking forward to dropping in again soon. Thank you.
Louise Bay
Warm and friendly cafe with great coffee and a seasonal menu of delicious, hearty yet beautifully detailed dishes. Great selection of option plus a "can't decide?" option where you can pair your mini granola with sourdough toast and can pick from the well crafted selection of savoury sides... genius!!
Dizzle
Great addition to the neighborhood. Really adds some high end cafe culture to the area without being pretentious or friendly. Excellent food and service
Joseph Bromley
A delightful experience; the owners clearly have exceptional taste in music, design, decor and (most importantly for a cafe) food! The menu is rich and varied, with many delicious vegan options. The almond feta and house-made dukkah are mind-meltingly delicious atop one of the many incredible salads. The staff are friendly, attractive and passionate. One of the Top 3 chai teas I've ever had. Will most definitely be back for more.
Hannah Robinson
Fantastic experience. Very friendly and attentive staff and the food is to die for!!! Best breakfast I've had for a long time! Loved the tapas style sides. So yum. Can't wait to go back!
Ej
Service was amazing! Attentive staff and everyone who works there are super friendly.

The food was rich and the perfect serving size. I want to come back and try everything on the menu!

The coffee is smooth, one of the best coffees I've had.

Cute cafe in the quaint Footscray, will certainly be back. A nice place to relax.

This gorgeous little place opened whilst we were away on holidays, have been waiting to try it. It is fabulous, met a friend for breaky and we just loved everything. They have really good coffee and we had the Eggs benedict-ish, which was pulled pork with eggs bene, delicious! My friend had what they called Can't decide...she thoroughly enjoyed that as well....game with their granola with lovely fruit, two sides of your choice, she had the chicken adobo and mushroom ragout and comes with orange juice or green smoothie....thoroughly enjoyed as well! What a great addition to the Footscray food scene. Staff were chatty, friendly and service with a smile. Will definitely be back.
