Review Hyderabad Inn Indian Restaurant - Footscray

Girlfriend and I got lost in the area once and decided that it looked like a good place to eat. Such an amazing range of food available. Most I've ever seen at a restaurant of this kind. The meat was cooked so tender. I like my curry spicy and I was very satisfied. Girlfriend got a korma which was mild and flavoursome. Many interesting choices for sides and rice too. The waitresses were very polite and nice. Even though there were only two of them on the floor, they didn't leave anyone waiting and were all smiles. The prices are also very reasonable for the food you get. Will visit again for sure.

Had been my favourite dining in for so many years when it comes to Biryani. Today all the way i come to know no chicken biryani. Everything else served u can easily taste was not at all up to mark. Felt bad giving it back. Sorry This was not usual chef owner.

Loved the biryani here very much. We also had a chicken chettinaad and naan which were awesome too. The restaurant is by the road and hugely spacious. The staff were friendly, highly recommended for biryani from our visit. Thanks and good job with the service, keep up the standards high.

We called for Delivery 1.) CUSTOMER SERVICE ---------- The person who answered did not understand English very well and even hung up on us. We called back and the manager took our order <3mins.-------------2.) FOOD QUALITY -------------- Servings size is good (dishes need more meat), Taste is why I keep eating here. The food is very flavorsome, colourful and nice. The menu has lots of variety, sure to suit everyone's taste. This place has the potential to become one of Melbourne's best Indian dining places, but lacks well trained staff.

Hyderabadi chicken Dum Biryani was awesome. Haven't had such biryani in Melbourne at all. I reckon the best biryani in town. We also tasted Chilly Chicken, Gobi Manchurian etc... they were fantastic Thanks Hyderabad Inn for awesome, tasty, delicious food served for us on Mother's day.

Worst experience, bought idli with that burnt sambar was served and when complained burnt sambar was replaced by fresh one which hardly had any sambar in it. Serving was too small that you can't even put spoon in it and in case if you are able to do you will get vegetables. With biryani, it was served overloaded in a small bowl, when you try to eat , you will not be able to serve without dropping on table. Will not go there again.

We've tried most of the indian restaurants on the west Footscray strip. This place is the best! Seriously complex and rich flavours - you ask for spicy and you get it. The biryani is a must. I'm not a vegetarian but this place does veg in a way that the others just aren't doing.

We waited for the food for 1.5 hours after placing an order. I know you will be wondering why we even waited for so long. Our bad. After waiting for so long, the food turned out to be another disaster. Under cooked naan, very small portions of main course, too much of salt in paneer 65. I will never come to this place again ever. Will not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Eat here at your own risk.
