Review Taj Palace - Footscray

Jeff DeMaria
The chef here looks like a cartoon, with a huge gray styled mustache that hes probably been cultivating for decades. Much like his mustache, the cuisine is also finely styled. Garlic Nan and great curry. They even do takeaway, but its more fun to sit in view of this boisterous, joyous old man and watch his mustache bob as he prepares food through the window in the back. Highly amusing and affordable.

rubbish food, secondly very poor service, they have no manners to talk to customer.Restaurant opening time is 5:00 pm and if customer comes around half past 5 for having dinner, restaurant staff ask the customers why you came here for dinner, chicken tikka was burnt and it was very hard to differentiate in papadums and Naan breads. Mint sauce was finished, we waited there for one and half hour to be served. If they cannot serve the customers properly they should close their restaurant.
