Went to Footscray to get glasses done for kid and remembered the place I used to go often for Kebabs. Hands down, still one of the best in the West. 1 of the top 3 in Melbourne for me!!!

Been going to this place for at least 5 years now. Staff has always been very pleasant and wonderful to deal with. I've been to dozens of kebab places and this is the ONLY ONE with Real Lamb meat on their spit and not the processed mixed stuff that I know of. Don't ever change Amasya and thank you for your continued service and awesome food!!

My score 3.75 stars. J got takeaway for our dinner from here on Tue 15th Oct. She reserved a couple of pides (they call them Turkish pizzas) over the phone. There were no others left for sale when she picked ours up at 6pm. REALLY nice service - friendly and helpful.

Cheese and Spinach pide ($6) – Good dough, nicely cooked, certainly more cheese than spinach. Very flavoursome, moreish; cheese was very good (high impact, maybe a touch salty but goes with the territory). We had one of these from here a long time ago & it was good also.

Chicken and mushroom pide ($6) – Again nice dough, mainly chicken (mushroom not very strong), very tasty overall though. Got a bit “meaty” for me by the end, but carnivores would love it.

Thu 10th Oct. Mushroom and chilli pide ($6) - Reasonable size, tasty but chilli a bit too much IMO (masked the mushroom flavour a bit). It was the only pide left at 5.30 and the lovely staff member suggested J phone ahead and reserve some next time.

Best Kebabs in Melbourne. Good flavour and the best Turkish bread going around. Definitely recommend the Kebabs
There was nobody in queue and took about 10 minutes to even be acknowledged despite standing right near the register. The kebab wrap was gross ad was soggy and made up of 80% rocket leaf. There was no crunch to anything. The interior also did not look very clean. Much prefer gyros which at least comes with tomato and onion.

I love love love the HSP they have here! The portion size is extremely filling, craving it right now.

Haven't tried the kababs yet but the reviews from others seem like they're really good so I will definitely go back and try soon.

I have had the iskender take away twice from here and it has been great both times. It was around $15 and they even through in some bread and dip.

I would definitely go back

I've been visiting Amasya Kebabs for over 20 years and have never had a better Turkish experience. Me and my brother will go to the grave with nothing but the fondest memories of this Footscray institution of meat goodness. From kebab to lunch pack this place delivers nothing but the best. Here's to another 20 years of lamb and chicken with hummus and garlic sauce.

Visited Amasya last night with a friend for dinner, we split a large kuvurma meal and the portion size was massive, the establishment was probably the cleanest place in the whole of Footscray, the staff were very friendly and the ingredients were all super high quality, with a fresh salad, no subpar meat (like other kebab places) and amazing home made dips with plenty of their delicious bread to dip it in.
We both left with very full bellies, satisfied indeed.

The most amazing kebabs and shaved meat I've ever tasted for 6 of us to have a meal and a drink each it only cost $70 and it was absolutely to die for definitely try it out when you're in the area you won't be disappointed

This place sells the most fantastic turkish bread, i like to buy a large one and fill them with delicious goodies at home! Super fresh, soft and chewy.

Food took forever to come out. But boy, it was super tasty when it did emerge. Yogurtlu doner. Bread and dips good. Probably my second go-to place after Footscray Best Kebab House.

"Thinking of New York, my husband and I had some amazing meat on rice with garlic sauce. Not wanting to venture in to the city one night, we decided to have kebabs in Footscray. There are a few good places which were recommended, but that night we decided to eat at Amasya Kebab.”

So glad I live in the west. Best kebabs I've ever eaten. Great service. A++

Best kebab in the west. The title says it all. Kebabs are massive and the quality of the meat and bread is top notch. Definitely worth the hunt for a carpark...

Best kebabs in Melbourne. The staff are super friendly and the service is always fabulous. But most importantly the kebabs are to die for. The best meat and the best bread make for the #1 kebab around!

Value for money and amazing flavour.

I've been going here for years now and absolutely adore this place. Its busy from morning until night! Love it

Really good - our go too kebab place. Everything is so fresh and the shop front and cafe would have to be the cleanest and most cared for in Footscray. The people who run this place are lovely and their pride for their food is evident ... miles ahead of other kebab joints in the area

If I had to choose a last meal........ It would be a kebab from here!! I too have been coming here for many, many years and I love that is is the same as it has always been - Fantastic!
REAL LAMB AND REAL CHICKEN - not processed, fresh salads and homemade bread, not 'pita' bread.
If you want a 'souvlaki' go anywhere else, If you want a 'kebab' come here!!

Best. Kebabs. Ever. I've been going to Amasya ever since they opened (quite a few years now) and I love the place, it's like a little part of turkey in the middle of Footscray. The bread is to die for and the dips are incredible.

Quick tasty easy. There arenkebabs and then there are amaysa kebabs. Tasty good meat and the chilli sauce gives it a nice kick. Too easy!

The fare is Turkish, from a Turkish bread-wrapped kebab to plates loaded with shish kebabs or felafels, dips and salads. Meal of the day (small), $13 This is the staggeringly excellent meal of the day. Two hillocks of shaved chicken a
