Review Dosa Corner - Footscray

AJITH JOHN ALOYSIUS
Been eating here for past two years, the quality of food and the service of the staff is getting worse day by day, i got a take away today, was glad at first because of the huge quantity of biriyani they served ...but what's the use when u can't even have a spoon, the chicken was smelling and stale, I would advice local Australian authorities to check the place for old food. And would definitely be complaining to the health department. I ordered chicken 65 biriyani ( stale and rotten) Masala dosa ( which was fine) I called them and they hung up midway , in 2 mins

Chicken 65 Biryani is what I bought, but it was no way close to that. Before placing the order I checked with the lady at the counter twice and said I don’t want that instant biryani. She assured that it was not an instant biryani. The rice was not properly cooked, food colour and very spicy. Such a waste.

Went on a quiet Sunday afternoon. Wasn't sure if they were open or not as some of the front tables were stacked on top of each other. Very glad we did not walk past! We both had Dosa (obviously) but there are other dishes on the menu. Their dahl and yoghurt are sooooo good! I ordered the spicy and it was a great level of spice. The mango lassi is not to be missed!

I ordered ghee podi idly and sambar from here this week. It is the worst ghee podi idly and sambar i hv ever had. The taste is sooo bad that i wont order from here ever in life time. It clearly shows how much this restaurant care about what they are serving to their customers.

Had dosa and biriyani - authentic Indian food. Really tasty. Excellent customer care! Defiant coming again and recommend to others.

Amazing service, authentic delicious food. Can’t go wrong. One of the best Indian meals you can get in Footscray/West Footscray

I wish there was something less than a single star...!! Dosa corner footscray would be best to fit in. Instead of having food here and wasting your time and expectations, its better to repeat Mc D or other burger shop one more time. Because thats what you get on ur plate burger buns! Its getting worst, ofcourse! I ordered pavbhaji, samosa ragda and 70mm dosa. pavbhaji was served with sesame burger buns..!! The watery bhaji was a mix veg curry, probably yesterday's left over. Taste was horrible. Dosa, OMG i probably forgot how bad versions are possible with simple indian dishes. Even after sending it back and hoping a better one to be made, it came back on my table with a stronger version. Im confused if I should point out the uncooked dosa, or soggy potato filling (smelled as it was rotten, pretty sure it was or may b was just on its way) or should i consider the sambhar as worst in it, when i stirred my spoon in to sambar, i could only see how the veggies were floating in watery sambhar. I have lifted some sambar in spoon to see how water was accumulating around the veggies. samosa ragda, it was edible, but probably chef forgot the receipe. It was disaster. (pics attached, please enjoy !) If I say food was the only thing bad, thats wrong. A special mention to a female indian staff who apparently was on break made herself feel home on the table at corner. Talking in her native language is not a sin but yelling, laughing and shouting over personal phone at a work place, that too when its a restaurant is definitly wrong. Apart from her, could now and then hear lot of unpleasant audibles. If you respect your work and the money you Earned out of it, this is not the place to spend it.

Please read completely as I have Edited :: Good food and good service. Small restaurant but was impressed with how the staff is handling their customers. Editing : After 2 years this restaurant has gone 5stars to 1 star according to me. I am a regular customer atelast twice a week. I went today and ordered chicken65 and my wife ordered dosa The chicken was stinky and definitely NOT fresh. I told the staff the same but the staff said they gonna inform to the chef and did really nothing. Now im changing my review after vomiting thrice and feeling extremely sick. STRICTLY!!!! DO NOT EAT FOOD HERE!!!!!! Specially Meat its not Fresh according to me.

Served previously cooked and spoiled food for breakfast. Added water in last night's sambar and packed for take away order. Masala in masala dosa was not fresh, it was smelling like it's rotten. Vada was uncooked from inside. Horrible breakfast I have ever had.<br/>Feeling sick after tasting such a horrible and spoiled breakfast

Good food and excellent service

Loved this place. Awesome food. friendly staff with good communication. 😃😃

We regularly use to get take seats from here, unfortunately the standards have dropped significantly!<br/>This is not just a one off, we’ve had multiple situations where the food hasn’t delivered...however this will be our last time going there.

Great place to chill and have food. We came from Mauritius and tried this restaurant, bien satisfait :) Nice decor and customer friendly staff. Pu retourne manz laba! :)
Open-Kitchen
Been here for a few times when my workplace was around this area. Ordered the goat briyani and plain dosa for two. The meat is tender and flavorful. Washed it all down with their mango lasi. 🥤🥤🥤

We loved 😍<br/>The masala poori was amazing ! It was tangy and had a kick of spice. Each of the little pieces were filled with flavour. <br/><br/>We disliked 😖<br/>We ordered the chicken 65 biryani but it was a little plain for our liking. The chicken was good but there wasn’t enough to balance out the biryani. The dosa wasn’t as crispy as we would have liked.<br/><br/>Overall it was a good experience and relatively cheap. They do a $1 dosa deal which we think is great value. We will definitely come back to try other things.

I generally never write bad reviews about any restaurant however bad it is but this time I just couldn’t help myself from writing this. Because being an Indian chain restaurant these ppl are so slack with vegetarians that it’s unbelievable. Me being a highly strict vegetarian ended up eating their veg briyani which had meat pieces in it. I was sooo furious and I am still not over it even when writing this. We called up the restaurant telling them how come lamb pieces ended up in the veg briyani and they acted like it’s completely normal for them. They instead very casually mentioned - “oh it would have gotten mixed up” .. seriously? It’s high time that ppl take this seriously. It means a lot for vegetarians like me to even see any meat in their plate... and a restaurant join like “dosa corner” have been pathetic with handling this. I really doubt what kind of food standard they would be having now while cooking inside their kitchen. And they lady who answered the phone was very casual about it and initially did say they don’t cook meat and veg separately. I feel like being cheated and no matter how many apologies they would say it wouldn’t be enough. Because they don’t sound apologetic anyway instead they should accept the shame that they don’t meet the dietary requirements of<br/>Their customer and cheat them at the back. The veg briyani clearly looked like some rice has been taken from their goat or lamb briyani and has been mixed up with the veg. Shame on you guys!!!! You don’t deserve to eat classify yourself as serving veg food. Mistakes happen and we understand but at this level.<br/>Every vegetarian i hope reads this and u guys try can gain their trust back.<br/><br/>

Best food in a kind. If you are looking to have a traditional Indian food then look no further, they serve the best food in a region and would highly recommend them.

Best Indian food I have eaten in ages. Thanks, Dosa Corner for treating us with amazing food. Highly recommended to all the food lover. Will definitely visit again and again.

A nice and cosy place to relish Indian food. The staff here are courteous and the service is good. Food tastes good. The staff gave valuable suggestions and that felt good. The pricing is also decent and does not burn a hole in your pocket! Chicken Briyani is my favourite. Strongly recommend this place for Indian cuisine lovers.
Epicureans
Nice ambience, friendly staff. Had a Dosa and goat dum biryani and felt that portion for biryani could be a bit more. The meat was very less when compared to biryani offered by other standard restaurants. <br/>Other than that recommend this place for Indian cuisine.
Erandi Hettiarachchi
Had dinner from here when visiting Melbourne. The high ratings were testament to the busyness of the place. We ordered quite a lot of food. The highlight was the chicken dosa, chicken 65 biriyani and the plain dosa. The taste was spot on and it was good to get a feel of home. The flip were the vegetable noodles and the reason for a 3 star rating. The noodles were swimming in oil and were ridiculously spicy even though we asked for non spicy. Our stomachs were burning after eating it. Better to stay away from everything except their namesake dosa which is what they they specialise in.
One.hungry.girl10
Came here for their special $1 Dosa! Great snack for $1 you get a plain dosa with 3 sauces. We also ordered their lamb Dosa set which had Vada and Idly with a mango lassi. Delicious and cheap food.

A great place to have south indian food . Ambience of the restaurant is decent enough . Food is gud . Biggest asset of the restaurant is the food that they serve is value for money . <br/><br/>However only setback was the music . The owner should work on the music and needs to play gud music to compliment the ambience of the restaurant .

I was walking by on King St from my hotel stay in Melbourne, and saw this place, noticed the deals on the windows and decide to go in, try it out. I had the chicken biryani meal with rice and soft drink for $11. It was great, quick, above-average spicy and importantly, tasted good. It's not the flashiest venue, but for those wanting to eat quickly on the go, I recommend it.
SohzFoodTrail
Went there for local indian taste. Variety of dosa hyderabadi biriyani. Loved it. They serve $1 dosa as well. The masala dosa was made in ghee. Tasted heavenly.
Amit Kalra
Needed a local restaurant for a family catch-up and were very happy with our choice. Service was prompt and the food was fabulous. The venue is well located. Will return.

Well located nice little eatery.<br/>We had the paneer spring roll dosa, schezwan fried rice and their popular 1$ dosa.<br/>Only negative is that the tables are not cleaned promptly.<br/><br/>Will revisit for their food.

I am not a Dosa expert but this place is great! The Vege Dosa was 5 star. My friend ordered fish byriani with rice and the waiter was kind enough not to laugh. Prices are very reasonable and service friendly and unpretentious. I will return.
Laxman Pandey
So good and great value for generous serving.  The restaurant was nice and clean and quite busy for lunchtime rush. Friendly staff and great Indian flavours, definitely will be back again.
Yummy 😋
A decent place. The dosa was not really crisp as we expected. The pavbaji was really good and delicious. The pav bun was fresh. The noodles and fried rice was average
Alen Kuriakose
Make sure you tell them explicitly that you want everyone on the table served at the same time. Happened more than thrice. I would rather go for take away
Gaurav Chahar
Food tastes actually good. Customer service is very poor and place is filthy and smells. Not sure, if I would like to visit again. Hope they fix these issues!!

wonderful food and service, at best price. my all time favorite. keep up the great work guys, best Indian restaurant in town. highly recommended 👍👌

last night we went there we ordered veg biriyani. it looks nice but when we start eating it was stone cold like just served straight from the refrigerator. and all the people were busy in there mobile all the time. its really dispoint me. never come back and not even refer it to anyone.<br/>
Srivatsava Tangirala
I had a meal with my friends here a day ago. we had Dragon paneer, Gobi 65 biryani, Schezwan Veg Fried Rice, Paneer Manchurian and<br/>Veg Manchurian on the order. It was a fabulous experience. Tasty food perfectly customized in the spice levels. The homely customer service was a memory to take away. I'd recommend it to anyone who would enjoy Indian food.
Ravi
A decent indian restaurant in the west.I liked the all the different dishes i tired. Fish pakoda was good.Goat dum biriyani , chese&chilli uttapam is nice overall experience is feel like home town..
Sindhuja
Dosa corner is one of the best Indian restaurant in town.Authentic flavours and you won't be disappointed by ordering indo-Chinese food , biriyani and dosa and great service too...👌
Vikas
I went to visit this place with one of my friends and was very excited after hearing positive things about this. This made me order variety of dishes. We ordered plain dosas, set dosas, fried rice and sambar idli. To my surprise, I found a worm in sambar. I am glad that I found the worm in the beginning of my meal rather than aftereating the sambar idli. Is this the way to serve food to people? I would even like to place a complaint about the same to food safety too.
Seema Soni
Amazing food!! Awesome service and staff. <br/>We have never been disappointed with the food or the staff. <br/>Great value for your money. <br/>Yummy dosa, chat and biryani.
Andrea Kantri
Very well deserved fame. Quite nice Indian dishes with a very creative twist. Very friendly staff ready to help you with the order and later understanding what're you getting in! Highly recommended.

Authentic indian food . Crispy flavoursome dosas and amazing briyani. Full of indian locals. The food is that good. The prices are reasonable and the service is great.

Good place for Dosa lovers. I always go there on weekend with my family. I love the way how they treat customers. They having a good staff and good food as well.  Masala Dosa is one of my favourite dosa.
Maneendra Chava
Love this place, everything tastes really good and is fairly priced, Very easy to over-order! A few tables inside and out and its small which i like, but don't be fooled because they smash out many ubereats orders! The food is presented well and you never wait too long for food either.
Landing Cook
this is a great restaurant. food quality was excellent and dosa deals and biriyani deals are Amazing and average prices. Everyone can go with families and friends.
Honey Blast
In Footscray, there are many restaurants but Dosa Corner was maintaining very good quality and service. And this restaurant is friendly and service is also very good
Dipal Patel
Dhosa was nice and crispy but order biryanis never come and next to our table they received 3 biriyani and they couldn't give us at list one biriyani girl is saying she not charged for that like she is giving compliments but the thing which we never get how come we pay for that and they forcing to put good review for giving discount worst service.
Spice Up Your Life
Great and consistent service. My favourite place for a Chicken Dum biryani and masala dosa. The added Egg, lemon and onion add a great touch. <br/>Be aware of if spice level, I can usually eat spicy food but I order a medium. <br/>Call ahead as their chicken biryani runs out quickly!
The Pet Roo
Nice crispy dosa, ordered the large with cottage cheese stuffing, deliciously good. The vego samosas are a large serve and perfect though served on a bed of raw onion which I thought was an odd combination. Would have preferred a nice sweet tamarind sauce to spoon over the thick samosa pastry. Also ordered the chicken biryani, it was ok though nothing special. Sick with the Dosa and you won't go wrong!

Being here on regular basis and never got disappointed... Love there biryani.... There food and customer is always good... Highly recommended....

Delicious, consistently excellent food. Ive never had a bad meal here and I've been 15 or 20 times so far. The prices are great ($5 for an egg dosa!) And the service is friendly. The ginger Gobi is a personal favourite.
Sundar.mani860
Excellent food and service... I have been a regular customer here since a year and there food and customer service never disappoint me... I love egg biriyani much here... Highly recommended...

Service and food was great. Live around the corner so always keen to walk over and have some dosa. Great value for money and good service :)

i have been a regular customer of dosa hut but today i been here opposite of it called dosa corner just to compare chicken biryani, its mind blowing. i highly recommend it
Murial
Just walked out hungry after waiting 30 minutes for our meal. Didn't want to wait any longer. People who came after us were being served. Turned out the girl who took our order forgot to tell the kitchen! Try writing it down next time!
Anilkumarkt
Excellent food<br/>Authentic hyderabadi biriyani<br/>Very nice. We went with family and all of us liked each and every dish. Special mention to goat biriyani<br/><br/>Ambiance is improved compared to last time. And i would go there every time for high quality and tasty food<br/><br/>

Ordered a party order at Dosa Corner Footscray. Food was really good and tasty. All the guests liked the food especially the biryani was a massive hit. Food was really Yummy , For sure will come back again. Give a try to other dishes as well you will enjoy the food.
Sherz
I'm a regular here. The food is good value for money but can be quite inconsistent in the quality.<br/>On more than one occasion I have been served cold samosas.I will have to say though on our last few visits the food has been top notch.<br/>I usually get the paper dosa but have venturing into the other dishes.
Animesh Pareek
Nothing special in food, although the staff is friendly and caters to every demand.<br/>From what I ordered,<br/> 'Vadas' were heated up in microwave so were soggy :(<br/> 'Chutney' was from freezer so was cold<br/> 'Dosas' were okay<br/> 'Sambhar' was the saving grace!
Shar
Been here multiple times and it's never disappointed us. They are attentive and friendly. Their biryani is recommended and so is the indo chinese.
YumOrYuck
Ordered Cheese Chili Utaapam, came exactly as the name said. A layer of plain Utaapam batter, with a thick layer of cheese and four slices of green chillies. It had no taste, no spices or salt. One of the worst Utaapam I ever had. They should changed the name "Cheese Chili Utaapam with spices and salt"
P. Manasa
excellent food and good good customer service... happy to know that they started delivery too... all the best guys and keep going... will surely visit again....
Jade Braganza
I had an unfortunate bad experience with a chicken dosa i ordered. The dosa itself was nice however, it was saturated in oil to the point where the plate was swimming in it. The chicken filling inside was so salty that it was practically flavourless and very unenjoyable.  I ended up just eating the parts of the dosa not saturated in oil whilst not eating the chicken at all. Very disappointing, I doubt I will ever have a dosa again.
Curryswagg
Lovely service, great food prices are good and cheap its a nice place for a quick meal and the best deal $1 plain dosa fills you up. Good for families or a late night meal
Cheralyn Lim
We come to Dosa Corner whenever we're in the area for a biryani and dosa fix. My partner is Hyderabadi and says the chicken dum biryani is comparable to that in India. We've had a range of dishes and they've all been very tasty. I do think the portion sizes aren't as generous as they used to be, which is discouraging. Having said that, we prefer this place to Dosa Hut as it's usually less crowded and with better prices.
Anusha
Nice place to have some awesome idly🤓 Really like the food taste just like the street foods of India👍🏻 Good customer service..........!!!!
Zohra
Delicious food and very friendly staff. I recommend dosa corner to have a delivery option available. This will increase more customer base. Thanks.
Nabeel Sagheer
One of the worst dosas I've ever had. Being from a place which is world famous for dosas, I entered with high expectations. However, I was disappointed and suffered a major shock. <br/><br/>Onion dosa here is a plain dosa topped with freshly cut onion. These guys seriously need to understand what an onion dosa is. That little piece of onion costs an additional $2-3, while plain dosa is just $1. Lol! <br/><br/>Come on guys, don't spoil such a rich cuisine with such bad tasting thing you call dosa. I'm definitely not visiting this place ever again. Wouldn't recommend anyone either.
Dhimant Jani
If this was the last option left to eat outside I would stay at home. The staff is absolutely rude and pathetic. Lady on counter kept on chatting on the phone while I waited to pay the bill for 5 minutes. No courtesy to even acknowledge your presence, and no thank you nothing. Just hated my experience here.
Thanya
Dosa Corner is highly recommended to all. The biryani is really good especially the chicken 65 biryani. Lamb dosa is good too. You'll never be disappointed 👍
Phil
Ordered a couple of dosas- masala and paneer- plus the sambar idly and vada. Enjoyable and great value- all for $15. Staff friendly and will return to try other items.
Kenji Maratimo
Very hot 🔥 if that's your thing, it's really for the locals. If you can past the accents and understand the menu terminology and I guess want to have a go then it's fun. The Dosa Masala is awesome and chicken Briayiani is a delight. Masala chat is not on the menu but if you ask nicely you may just be privileged to have one. We ordered the Cut Mirchi which is battered deep fried green chillies. The Poori is so soft and fluffy see the pics.<br/>"It's a cool place if you dare"
Bhawna Sachdeva
Nice interior. Staff was courteous. Food was just right for taste buds. Neither bland nor spicy. They improved alot since opening. Overall thumbs up.
Jithendra Dara
Very fine south indian spicy resturent. Great service and loved masala poori . Really tastes good and want to visit again to have it. Thank you dosa corner for your great service

@deeraj @jhittu Excellent food and impeccable service. Exciting menu and Vast variety of food range with better price. Staff were also amazing cannot fault a thing
Dheeraj Balla
I was at this place on Monday night with some friends they served good hot starters and good dosas along with nice chai and good mango lassi. Dosas are good chilli chicken was awesome along with Masala puri which was so yummy and awesome!!! <br/>Great service guys keep it up!
Charizard
Had their Chicken 65, Onion Dosa and Masala Poori. The Chicken 65 was packed a punch as it was spicy and flavourful. However, it was just too salty and some of the chicken was too tough. The Onion Dosa was large but I felt that it lacked flavours. Moreover, the onions tasted raw while the curries/dips were diluted and tasted bland. Last but not least, the Masala Poori was refreshing but I felt that the fillings inside the poori was too flowy, as the poori was hardly able to contain all of the overly watery fillings. The only positives was that the poori was light and crispy.
Srivani Reddy
Been there an hour ago.., food tastes really good.., starters are awsome👌👌.., chicken biryani tastes like home food and finally rasmalai is next to awsome👍👌 mouth watering food that I've had in recent days.. Just loved it
Subhanjana Sanyal
As I haven't any idea about their early services but presently I can say that this one is like a hidden gemstone. I think they have come with a new avatar & that's the reason I guess.the joint comes with a pleasant interior along with some of their delicious dishes..(as I've tried only few)but I have a hope that the rest of their platters may have the same fingelicking taste.
It&#039;s All About Food
Fantastic food, good service.. Must try the Goat Biryani.. They have plain dosa for $1.. Chicken 65 and baby corn 65 were delicious.. If you are this side do try this place
Austin Murphy-Hill
1 dolla dosa need i say more? chilli gobi so good i been shivering for hours. Vada had me like - bruh! Biryani all day and night when i realised you could put the rice on the plate doe! my girls always greet me with a grin and a set dosa straight off the grill.
Pradeep Dodda
Delicious food. Rich in taste superior in quality. The Pani poori, masala poori, cheese and chilli utappam, fish pakora, and mango lassi loved them all....
SVply
Horrible biryani, if you want to call it a biryani. Completely laced with chilli. The Salan is watery as hell and has absolutely no taste. <br/>After the place got renovated, went in yesterday to pick up a couple of biryanis. I was asked to come in after 25 mins. Only reached to find out that the order was not ready and had to wait an additional 15 mins. <br/>Will never go back here again. You can get better biryani in other places guys. Trust me!<br/>
Sita Ratakonda (AU)
We got the special chicken 65 biryani take away and there is nothing special about it. Infact, it could easily be the worst biryani I have ever tasted. FYI, Fried rice with red colour and random huge chicken chunks is not biryani. Something happened during your 1 month of maintenance closure. Please take this as a honest feedback and improve quality.
Bubba Gump
Chilli chicken was barely warm and suspect we were given a cancelled takeaway order as it arrived at table within a minute of ordering. Vada was dry, stale and not crispy. Definitely not freshly made. Mango lassi too small. Chilli idli was ok.
Kylie Davies
Awesome masala dosa and gobi 65. Great flavour and spice. Mango Lassi is great too! Not so great service for non Indian folk,  with delays bringing food, plates, water, etc.
🍍Wapmapt🍍
The place is run by young friendly people and is full of indian locals a good sign.<br/>The food was spicy hot authentic and deliscious. I could taste individual spices.<br/>The dosa was crispy and light the filling flavoursome and spicy. The sauces superb. I particularly liked the tomatoe chutney . <br/>I will be back.
Big Foodie
Great food and friendly staff that could help describe the dishes send what ingredients were in it. Prices was very reasonable with 2 full dosa meals and an entree for $20.
Pradeep Rajkumar
Rude and one sided service.Came with a friend,my third last visit.Non hospitality people work here.Horrifying Ambiance...<br/><br/>All dishes are thrown with red chillies.sambhar is a disaster ..filled with red chillies turmeric..no curry leaves tomatoes and mustard used...Coconut chutney is kind like a groundnut thrown with red chillies...tooo Crazy..<br/><br/>Uncooked Biryani rice.Do not waste your time traveling and eating here. They do not have communication skills and taking orders..<br/><br/>Just go for Dosa...I vomited in home after eating here after my third visit today..<br/><br/>Highly not recommended...
Karthik Reddy
Decent Hyderabadi biryani plus cheap dosa's. Good eat out for a mid-week meal, might be a bit too spicy for sensitive tummys but worth trying with a glass of lassi
Ricardoski1610
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!the Dosers hear are amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!<br/>The chicken wings where also very very nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Over all this restaurant is amazing
Big Jess
Delicious, cheap and authentic dosa! This place is incredibly good value for money. Flavours and variety is just like we had in India. Great for brunch. Lots of vegetarian options - paneer/masala dosa is to die for. Yum!
Abishek Paliwal
What a awesome corner delight. Its a nice place for south indian chaat n biryani. We had been to this place so many times and every time they surprise us with awesome food. Service is quick and food is very reasonably priced. Overall a great place to have south indian food.
SazSoh
Ordered takeaway from here for the first time, upon a friend's recommendation. Pretty good value for money! Had 2 dosa combos, the paneer and masala both of which were delicious (tho they did forget my drinks and I wasn't about to drive all the way back sigh). Also ordered the fish pakoras, chicken dum biryani and chicken 65. Will definitely return.

Dosa Corner is a relatively new arrival in the "Little India" of the West that is Barkly Street in West Footscray (or "WeFo", as some call it). As its namesake suggests, it specializes in dosa, basically, a crispy Indian crepe with condiments. There's also an emphasis on Indo-Chinese cuisine, a fusion of Chinese and Indian cooking styles, that I am informed is very popular in India.  Upon arriving for a Saturday lunch, I was greeted with relaxed and friendly smiles upon entry - a good start. The menu was huge and diverse so it took a while to decide, but eventually I settled upon a plain dosa and a Chicken 65 with a mango lassi. The dosa was well-cooked, crispy but a bit smaller than the usual dosas in Indian restaurants but it came with generous serves of condiments, including a mild vegetable curry and a reddish ginger relish. For $1, it was an absolute bargain. The Chicken 65 ($8.95) also impressed; fried battered tandoori-like spiced chicken pieces with garlic, coriander and mint stirred through it. It looked good and more importantly, tasted good. The mango lassi was a little thick and concentrated to drink properly, but it had undeniably loads of flavor. Dosa Corner ticked all the right boxes for me - friendly and attentive service, tasty food and excellent value for money. 4.5.
Kylie Ch
We ordered takeaway. Arrived 15 minutes latter and no record of our food. My vegetable biriyani had rice and peas....! That's all. I've tried them 15 times to give them feedback and it's busy
Vamsi Krishna
Good place for regular food(idli, dosa), but never ever try Ravva dosa & some special South Indian food. Not at all satisfied with the service. When customer returns ordered food, it's minimum curtesy to find why he / she dint liked it.
Nathaniel Stockley
If your love for Indian cuisine extends beyond butter chicken & lamb roghan josh, then you really ought to take a drive out to West Footscray and explore the plethora of Indian eateries along the stretch of Barkly Street over Princes Highway. A relatively new addition to the area is Dosa Corner, opening for business in March 2015. One of the owners of Dosa Corner had previously been a chef across the street at the long established Dosa Hut. Clearly there’s a demand for South Indian & Indo-Chinese options as Dosa Hut have just opened a third location in Roxburgh Park.
Sammy
Dollar for dollar the best restaurant around in Footscray. The staff are really helpful and friendly . The food while not being top notch is really bang for buck . Loves the dosas , noodles , biriyani and chats they have.
Jerrin Mathew
Excellent food...worth every dollar...good service...nothing to complain about...affordable food without compromising in quality....definitely visiting again

We know for sure a place is a hit when we find ourselves visiting the place no less than once a week. And Dosa Corner has turned out to be one of those "hits", especially with my hubby. He absolutely loves the chicken biriyani, and i for one, am a huge fan of the idly and mango lassi. <br/>The best bit is that every time we walk out after a great meal, the impact on the wallet is rather minimal. <br/>$1 dosa !!!   :-) what a Treat..
Prasath
$1 dosa! Nowhere else in Australia. Generally all items on menu are reasonably priced and there is no compromise in quality of food. I love their Chicken 65 briyani! Lamb dosa is fantastic. Mango lassi to wash down all the yummy spice...
Shyamsharma.design
This restaurant has simply got one of the best tasting food in the area, it's very reasonably priced and GREAT customer service by far.<br/>Give these guys a chance to serve you, you won't be disappointed.
Olive&Merlot
Good indian food in footscray ... chicken 65 biriyani was fantastic ......very good prices.<br/>DOSA is very good with unbelievable price just a DOLLAR.
Sandeep Samudrala
No words to say fried chicken biriyani was awesome....<br/>And my friend had chicken 65 biriyani he can't resist with mouth watering taste.....
Maddy
I just had lunch here and to be honest.. my paneer dosa reminded me of the dosa i used to eat back home. The service was fast and reliable. Staff are bit quiet but very polite. The dosas starts from $1 but they have not compromised the quality. Where can you have lunch under $5??. Nowhere. I will<br/>definately visit this place again with my friends and family. They are in competition with Dosa hut but in my experience Dosa Corner is far better in cleanliness, quality, pricing and service.
