Review Ben Hall Beau Thai - Forbes

The restaurant is lacking in terms of decor. Very basic and pedestrian in my opinion. You enter it through a shabby complex of various interiors which I found to be very unappealing. I also thought the prices were too high for what was on offer. However Ben Hall Beau Thai more than makes up for it in terms of food. The menu is positively riddled with high quality meals. I found the sauce in my stir fry to be particularly excellent. The serves are generous as well. Overall, I found Ben Hall Beau Thai to be a positive experience and one well worth visiting for any Thai cuisine lover as long as they are willing to put up with bland decor and steep prices.

Best Thai in Forbes. Lovely chef and wait staff. Spring rolls crispy not greasy. Thai fish cakes small and perfectly formed. Pad Prik prawns just the right amount of chili and a generous amount of prawns. Fried rice not oily and generous. Tasty !

Sadly over priced and average food

$10 for an over cooked entree, $19.90 for a main that had dry and hard to chew chicken, and $4 for a scoop of boiled rice. Then charge $1 for using eftpos with no signs or warning. The restaurant was freezing with no heating. I recommend you go to subway or dominos downstairs.

Possibly the worst service I have ever encountered in a restaurant. Food around a table of 6 was hit and miss with 4 of the plates being either tasteless, cold, bland or a combination of the 3. It took 15 minutes after sitting down for the waitress to take our order, leaving before taking our drinks down and we were 1 of 2 groups in the place. Steer clear of this disaster.
