Fantastic coffee! I'm fortunate to live only ten houses away from such a great cafe. The staff are also incredibly friendly.
Had a wonderful experience at The Jolimont for brunch on Saturday. It is a hidden gem but there was lots of parking options around. Probably a better place for a pair instead of a larger group due to the size of the place but the food was delicious. Pricing was reasonable and staff were all friendly. I would recommend their hashbrowns because they are authentic and super tasty! The poached eggs were perfect and the pulled pork was packed with flavour. I was really filled by my dish and happy with it.
Favourite brunch place in the Eastern suburbs. I always get their Arabian Knights dish and I can’t find a better take on the ‘smashed avo’, than this. Their coffee is always on point as well.

The Jolimont. Unless you know the street (after which it is named), you’ve probably never been to this little eatery. Set in the back streets of Forest Hill, it is a small and relaxed local café where you bump into your neighbours. The food is simple but tasty. The décor is simple but pleasing. I hate hiking. There I said it. So in order to turn this upsetting event into a somewhat joyous one, and to ensure that we have enough energy for the actual hike, we made a detour and stopped at The Jolimont for brunch before heading off to Wilsons Prom.
This is a great place, after many failed businesses in this strip it's good to see this place succeed, the service is excellent coffee always good and the pulled pork breakfast is big favourite I recommend this place highly.

Such a warm and friendly local cafe that contains a lot of heart. Christmas decor and friendly staff members, we were already loving the cafe before we even ordered.
What we ordered: Eggs Benedict w/ hash brown, Mushroom Bruschetta w/hash brown and a bowl of fries to share. The meals are such a generous size that when we saw all the food come out, we knew we would struggle to finish it all and sadly, we didn’t finish it all! Along with generous food portions came absolutely delicious food. Each meal had thorough flavoring and the accompanying hash browns are a must.

Great service. Very helpful and graciously encouraged me to stay after closing time for to finish my coffee and muffin. Very happy and will now make it my spot in the area.
A local cafe to us and one we have enjoyed many times over. This cafe offers a great selection of food on their menu. Highly recommend the Farmhouse and the Eggs Benny :) Outside the cafe is seating where you can bring your dogs and enjoy a meal or coffee. Staff here will always have a smile on their face and are extremely polite
Came here with a group of colleagues and was pleasantly surprised. I had the Eggs Benedict which was delicious, very big and came with hash browns rather than English Muffins - winner! Was very reasonably priced and the service was great, too. Would definitely return.
Excellent quality food for very exceptional prices. Portions are definitely substantial, particularly for the price you pay. The cafe is located in a peaceful and quiet area in a nice environment, far away from traffic.

Cute little cafe always on point with their specials. I had the Pulled Pork on Hash Rooms with poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. I didn't know what to expect but it worked! Absolutely delish. We had the special (pulled pork) and the farmhouse breaky and both were so yummy! Hot chocolate with almond milk is the best I've ever had. Excellent friendly staff and quality meals, yummy!!

Staff are friendly and easy going, food is well priced and tasty, coffee was lovely too. Had the breakfast wrap and banana bread today. Also have eaten the pancakes but added Nutella. Delicious.
Plenty of street parking and seats out the front if you're a dog walker. Inside is a little more cosy, so it's not pram friendly.

This is a surprisingly delightful cafe tucked away in the amongst the forest hill community. It is quite a small cafe but has a lovely vibe with really friendly staff. Ordered a chai latte and the avocado smash. Both the drinks and food came out quite quickly. The avocado was really good! It was served on yummy multigrain toast. Only thing is the dish is served with a layer of balsamic which wasn't on the menu. Overall really good! Highly recommend!
Cosy little cafe. Plant wall feature was a nice touch. Exterior really needs some work, would not have walked in if I was walking past. They also really need to get rid of the tacky "coffee" flashing sign.
The food, coffee and service though, were excellent! I had the Mexican eggs - the chorizo was delicious, the chilli flakes added that extra bit of zing, the poached eggs were done perfectly and all served on nicely toasted grain bread.
Seriously though, needs some work on the exterior.

This cafe was located a few min away from the shopping area by car and looking very popular with nice friendly staff. Wonderful cappuccino in mug was real strong flavour that quite satisfied me. Iced chocolate wirh whipped cream had good amount of icecream in a chocolate decorated tall glass. Ordered beautiful Hollandaise sauce on excellent Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon & Quick Breakfast with extra hush brown but sadly it was fried polenta. I would say this cafe is suitable for adults.
A small and somewhat cramped little cafe tucked away on a side street. I only discovered it when I spotted a "cafe" sign on Springvale road. I was welcomed in and attended to immediately, and provided with both menu and water, which was a good start. The decor is modern and decorative (mattress spring planter attached to the wall!). The menu has some veggie options, so another tick. I ordered the mushroom bruschetta which was good, and the coffee was fine.

Small cosy cafe on a small street. Friendly service and drinks come out fast. Banana milkshake is thick and has a strong thick syrup taste. Chai latte is average. French toast has a generous amount of fresh cut banana, would have been good if the icecream was in a separate cup to prevent it sogging the toast. Sweet, soft and well favoured. Ate here for the 7th time its always consitantley good until today, i ordered the pulled pork and it was abit different. Normally it would be on a bread or sour dough and pressed but today was with a burger kinda type. Not that fussy about the change but the flavour was abit different. It was more spicy then usual and to many fragrant on the pork so the sweet ness was gone. The coffee long black was really good as usual other than that i would try it again.
The Jolimont is a cute little cafe, we love to go to for brunch. The staff are very friendly and service is outstanding. The food always tastes fresh and delicious.
TIP: Do try the Bircher Muesli and Buttermilk Pancakes- our favourites.
We have been here for breakfast regularly and everything we have tried is excellent. There are also plenty of vegetarian options available. The staff are all very friendly

We came pass this lovely little cafe within these nice suburban houses around a little strip of shops. It was definitly renovated into a modernized style decor inside with succulents on every table and unique modern art that are up for sale giving an artistic feel to the cafe.
Although it was quite small and I do not recommend large groups of people to have brunch. My partner and I barely squeezed in between other tables to get to ours.
We both had our usual soy lattes with water automatically been served to us. Coffee was ok as I didn't quite taste the full potential of their coffee beans as if the coffee filter needed to be changed. And I do believe that they didn't know how to maintain the temperature to keep the flavour of the soy instead they nearly overheated it.
My partner ordered an Arabian Nights dish which was quite nice. The pomegranete mollasses wasn't really introduced as much because of the other flavours such as feta and avocado had stronger elements to the dish which still was impressive and worth a try with the multigrain sourdough.
I had the Mexican Eggs and was well presented. Though there were a lot of rocket leaves but generosity isn't bad, it really went well with the chipolte with poached eggs and chorizo together in one bite. The combination really woke me up with its spicyness but also had a sweet aftertaste from the chorizo. Although I couldn't taste much of the avocado and it looked like it was one spread of it on my sourdough which wasn't that satisfying.
I recommend trying out their breakfast/brunch dishes as they are worth trying but we wouldn't go back just for coffee unfortunetly.
We enjoyed a light breakfast at The Jolimont on a Sunday morning. The lumberjack cake was definitely a highlight, which we enjoyed with our coffees.
The cafe is best suited for small groups as the area is small, and depending on where you are seated, the tables can be quite tight.

The cafe is very small and is very family friendly. Meals were large in proportion and came out within a decent amount of time. Both meals were delicious and I'm very impressed for a local brunch cafe!
Great little cafe away from the brunch crowds that usually induces frustration on a weekend morning. Having said that, definitely great quality food - Jolimont breakfast is a favourite of mine.
Only negative is that the coffee is a bit 😒 ... Better barista training?
Nice little cafe. Friendly welcoming staff. They are on the ball. Water, ask for coffee order. Food immaculate, fresh, well cooked. Loved the corn fritters. And last but not least coffee was made the way it should.

Modern cafe serving awesome food and hot strong coffee, in a kind of unexpected, Suburban location. Delicious mexican eggs with a Chai latte and Steak Sandwich.
We went there for breakfast, Nice service, nice place, nice food and good price. We ordered smoothies and jam and cheese croissant and tosts with eggs very nice :)
Love this hidden local gem! The deco is pretty, the staff is friendly, the flat white is just right, the smashed avocado is to die for, the Mexican egg is superb, the cakes are yummy!! Can be a regular spot. Very happy to discover a good local cafe!

This lovely little cafe offers a nice oasis from the cold. Situated seemingly in the middle of nowhere, as part of a row of local shops, the Jolimont offers breakfast, lunch and afternoon food offerings. I really like the place, especially when it gets busy. There's a nice buzz to the life of the generally mid-to-late aged clientele. The food is quite good and there are options for those with dietary requirements. The hostess is very amicable and approachable. My only criticism of the Jolimont is that the menu is quite limited, so it may make going regularly an issue, unless you are a creature of habit.
My favourite cafe in the suburbs! The service is always fantastic and the food is great. The BLAT is my favourite item on the menu, closely followed by a mushroom bruschetta. The coffee is always perfect and service is quick.
This place is so cute and the owners/staff are always lovely! Their smashed avocado on toast is delicious and the mushrooms are some the tastiest I have ever had! My friend said that their pancakes were equally as delicious! The pricing is extremely reasonable This is definitely an outer suburb gem, one not to be missed!

Onwards and upwards. There's a reason this place has such a high rating with over 200 votes. I had the Mexican eggs last week which were crazy delicious. Today was the pulled pork foccacia. Really tasty. Do yourself a favour and get a late breakfast here. You won't regret it.
The best place to grab a feed.. Went there today. Was really impressed. The steak sanga was to die for, steak was soooooo tender, and the coffee, oh my god, the coffee was amazing, I've never had coffee so rich and aromatic. 10/10 will eat at again.
Always Fabulous!!. My husband & I (.....& our 2 sons) have enjoyed many lunches/brunches at The Jolimont. It is so good that we just keep going back! The food is reliably wonderful, coffee superb, service is always great & all the staff are very friendly & ever willing to please. The menu is extensive & consistently fresh, amazingly tasty & well sized. We look forward to our experience each time we dine at The Jolimont. So lucky to have it in the area. Well done!!

A little gem, in an unassuming corner of the world. Hidden away in a quiet suburban street, you will find The Jolimont nestled amongst 70's brick houses and a short strip of shops. Don't be fooled by its unassuming location. The coffee here is excellent, the food fresh, and the wait team are friendly - not much to ask for in a brunch spot.
We visited today for the first time - I sampled Eggs Florentine, my dining partner the Open Breakfast sandwich. Everything was well done, generous serves, and full of flavour. The coffee was so great, I got a second to takeaway.
Will definitely be back for a lazy brunch.

I'm a little puzzled by these last few reviews.. Me and my partner are both regulars here since the day The Jolimont opened, in which it is somewhat been our second home. We have never felt unwelcome coming here and coffee has always been excellent in line with the food and staff.. I have no problem recommending this establishment to other fellow dinners.

Better everytime. My husband and I absolutely love this place! We went this morning with our friends and were treated with such warmth and kindness by the staff and especially the owner. My girls love her. But on top of this 5 star service, the food never disappoints. All meals use quality ingredients and the bread is to die for.

'remarkable on all fronts'. First visit and will certainly not be the last. From the warm welcome on arrival to personalised excellent service and quality food. I had a gluten free option and it was the best I've ever tried. My fussy husband couldn't fault his meal either. We really enjoyed the experience.Thank you.
I always feel better after being here. From the moment you step through the door the Jolimont staff make you feel very welcome. It's like they're happy to see you. The owner Penny creates a very homely atmosphere.
The food here is extremely satisfying. To me they put a high value on using quality ingredients. The meals aren't boring either, as the chefs have an obvious strength in creative flair with their cooking.
I come here regularly, almost too often. I tell myself not to ruin a good thing, but here I found myself again this afternoon.
My daughter and I walked out smiling and content. Thank you Jolimont.

My first time here and pleasantly surprised they had Smashed Avo on the menu (a favourite of mine) and I added some salmon and poached egg to my order as well. I loved it!! The egg was poached perfectly and everything was beautifully presented. The cafe itself had a very nice atmosphere, it was busy, but not noisy. Good choice for breakfast, I'd come here again.

Great place hidden away in the middle of Mitcham, good burgers, good meals, good drinks. Their hot chocolate could be a bit better, but overall I give them a 4/5.
Clean establishment and great attitude from the proprietors makes this a place I return to regularly. I recommend the mushroom burger, it's particularly good.
A very funky cafe in Mitcham. Went for lunch and food was wonderful. All day breakfast menu available as well as lunch menu. I like that there were lunch options for $10 and under as well as fancier options. Indoor and outdoor seating- courtyard out back and even a water bowl for dogs for front outside seating. Very friendly staff.
