Obsoletely dead. Restaurant not open. No TAB open. So decided to make the most of it and have a beer and play the limited pokies. But hey you get what u get in little towns and that’s generally disappointed. Last orders and we are closing in 15 mins 🤷🏼‍♂️… This was 7.30 pm… lol Knew it was a bad move when I walked in there.

We ate at the Chinese restaurant within the tavern and the food was great value for money and delicious. Service was quick. The Tavern was busy as we turned up on a night where they were raffling off a boat! That said we were served quickly and the staff were always friendly. Felt like a local by the end of the night!

Lakeside Chinese - the absolute best seafood laksa I have ever had and our two sons married Thai sisters and one of them was a chef ! So I would highly recommend this dish The sang chow baw was so different but unbelievably tasty we went back the next day to have it as a main meal The menu is extensive the staff all very friendly, we will definitely be eating there again We come from Mittagong nsw and I wish they were closer Fantastic

Can shut early on the weekend (9pm). Only has Chinese food available. Does have a great deck out the front with pool table.

Just caught the courtesy bus and even in this state and day and age had a full bus load ( including driver) be and say racist comments towards a pair of proud black men. When asked to step up all whites coward and cried. Great establishment clientele need to be checked and brought into this century. Amazed this place is still standing. Georgous staff behind bar

Great place for a drink,it's our regular when up on a Saturday.Great service from Christian and staff.The highlight is The Lakeside Chinese.The best and freshest Chinese in NSW.Service from Lilly and the young staff is outstanding and deserving of an award 🥇.Cook is wonderful and price is very affordable. We would not eat anywhere else for a Chinese meal 🥘 👍Well done Lakeside Tavern

How good is this place. Lost my wallet there on a Wednesday arvo whilst having a great time with � and chat with a�. Could have sworn I had my wallet when shopping afterwards. Anyhow after 3 days of tearing my car and house apart and looking every place I rang the Tavern. They had it. Not only that, the�was stiil in my wallet. If you want an honest and down to earth time with good honest folks. This is the place.

Not from forster but loved that i could take kids for afternoon of fun..with jumping castle, music & plat area while i enjoyed a wine. Chinese for dinner was beautiful as well..we will be back
