Just in the process of rebranding and taking full advantage of this spectacular location, relaxing bright beach themed decor, fully licensed. Reintroducing karaoke staged area. Reasonable prices, menu gives vegetarian options, meal sizes are fine and staff friendly. Any issues with meal dealt with immediately, nothing too much trouble to get it right.

Terrible service, wish I'd checked the other reviews first! After one hour, our baby still didn't have a piece of raisin toast and was crying his head off. Asked for it three times but it didn't come. Daughters meal came 10 mins before ours. Generally chaotic, very stressful experience. Only good points: the food was actually really good when it came, we felt sorry for the new staff and we were not charged for any of it. Hope they sort it out as it could be a good place

Such a shame. 50 minutes after ordering, they hadn't started cooking (we were only after wedges too). The two people we spoke to were really nice, and genuinely embarrassed and sorry about the delay, but we had to leave without eating. Hopefully things get better for this business, because they have a good spot with a view over the water.

Absolutely shocking.
One of two tables in the place and it took 45 mins to get our breakfast. Half was overcooked and half was undercooked. Slow service and the chef should be ashamed for plating what they did.
Not all the chef's fault though, the wait staff took the order incorrectly and seemed genuinely incapable of existing in a state other than utter bemusement.

1.5 hour delay on food, 5 tables walked out. 5 front of house staff can’t handle 6 tables and complain they are understaffed. Tables are left dirty for over an hour while staff are seen eating dishes that were sent back. A table next to us waited 1 hour for toast.
Staff couldn’t care less and ignored every table for fear of being chastised. There is no management at all and undertrained staff are left to run the venue unsupervised.
Place is out of business in less than a year.

The establishment gets one star, purely and solely for the view.
Wait times were excessive to say the least. 45 minutes later and a mediocre coffee. We ended up leaving after being told it would still be a further 15 to 20 minutes until our meals were ready.
All in all, I’m left wishing I had two more hands. So I could give it four thumbs down.

Absolutely trash service. Walked out after being ignored by staff. Made a booking which staff forgot to write down. Waited to be seated which never happened, so we approached bar staff who said "sit where you like". After sitting down there was still zero service and after 10 minutes we went to the bar to ask for menus, were told "sure we will bring them to you". After 15-20 minutes of waiting for menus we got up and left.
Waste of time and ruined our whole night. Avoid.

The coffee was weak and luke warm, all the drinks came out so far apart the 4 of us drank separately, then after we nearly finished our drinks our muffins came out, has everyone lost the concept of sweets with coffee? Staff were very disorganised but nice. Great views but will not be going back.

I’m not even sure where to start. If I could have married my steak....or the chef, I would have in a heartbeat!!!
By far the most magnificent meal I have ever eaten. I asked for chicken wings made extra hot, and I wasn’t disappointed, but although they were as hot as I desired, it took nothing away from the fantastic flavour!!! The Steak i ordered with a blue cheese sauce was cooked to perfection, melting in my mouth, and is the highlight of my entire holiday!!!
The staff made us feel like it was a family get together going out of their way to accomodate my family and my young children.
This is the best dining experience we have ever had by far, and you all should be commended for your exceptional service, attention to detail, and unbelievable food!!! Top marks guys!! Thank you so much!!!!

Amazing place! Staff super friendly and warm, and food was delicious (both, main and dessert). We had steaks and vegetarian meals too, all was tasty and really good size. We enjoyed a bottle of wine, perfect match for our dinner.
We were just for one night at Forster, and we were lucky to have found this lovely restaurant. Definitely we recommend it!

What a great restaurant. We went there on Sunday night for my birthday dinner with the family. The food was fantastic. I had eye fillet steak in blue cheese sauce, it was amazing, cooked to perfection. The roasted vegetables were also fresh and delicious. Highly recommended.
