Review Hooked On Thai - Frankston

Went earlier this week for the first time and I was very impressed. Ordered the Spicy fried rice. Was on par with the rice I had in Thailand. Greeted by a friendly owner at the door which was nice. Hidden away in Young St Frankston, and was busy for a Tuesday night. Highly recommended

I am truly hooked! I've been to many Thai places and by far, Hooked On Thai supersedes them all. The fragrant spices, creamy coconut base and fresh vegetables in their green curry are absolutely splendid. Authentic Thai cuisine at a reasonable price, I couldn't ask for anything more. Highly recommend!

The one star is for the food it’s great. Pity I can’t say the same about the staff. Ordered over the phone, told it would be ready in 30 min, when I walk in the shop I was totally ignored, stood there for over 15 min before I was even recognise, that’s after the young girl walk passed me at least 6 times and couldn’t even say anything and just looked through me like I was a glass window, if the food wasn’t so good I would have walked out without it. Staff need to have more customer relations and ethics. If the food wasn’t so good I wouldn’t go back.

The food was relatively good. The male owner was very nice and he thanked everyone. However, the waitress was one of the worst we have ever seen. She did not smile or say thank you back to us. One of the worst service experiences ever. She needs to stop making assumptions for people she does not know anything about and do her job properly.

Hooked on Thai Young St Frankston never disappoints- food always excellent, generous serves, reasonably priced, Byo very clean and pleasant atmosphere, +service is pretty good and efficient. Either dine in or take away😊

Consistently good Thai food at great prices. Their Pad Thai is the best in the area. Huge portion sizes. Good for dine in or takeaway, if dining in they do BYO.

Real Thai Food, meaning you might have to ask for "mild." Staff are great and attentive, service is brisk and friendly. Food is very yummy and fresh. Was a great surprise to find this place in Frankston.

Best thai food I've had in a long time... possibly ever! The staff are friendly, the good is great and the decor is quite pleasant. Absolutely loved it and am already a return customer.

Absolutely delicious! We arrived at 6.20ish and told them we would be quick because we had a function at 7. The chicken satay and beef Penang was perfection. Quick service and we were at our function by 7.15.

Simply one of the best Thai food I’ve ever had. We had pad Thai, crab fried rice, and beef salad. The portion is just right. They are not stingy on the prawn and crab meat either . The owner is very friendly. Highly recommended. I will come again !

Have eaten here a few times over the last 3 months and each time we have been very happy with our meal. I found the serves quite substantial and taking our own wine made for a great meal at a good price. We shared a main and a special rice plus small entree and could eat no more!

Really nice staff and your food comes relatively quickly. Clean restaurant and all up a tasty and enjoyable time. The food is amazing though some portions may be smaller than you might think.

Incredible authentic Thai cuisine, beautifully flavoured and expertly crafted. Attentive and kind staff, eager to help and improve the experience. The kitchen was very clean and the restaurant presents well. Would recommend to anyone in Frankston!

Excellent interior, welcoming staff and delicious authentic thai cusine. Waitresses very attentive and polite, only - is the noise not something to fret over.

Have been to this restaurant twice and both times the food was fantastic. The staff are friendly, the curry is always lovely and the roti is very nice.
