Dined at the Grand last night and the food was delicious and the waiting service was just fantastic which was really impressive ... so hard to find out there in hospitality with many clueless and untrained/unwilling. Love the ambience of this pub and always have. Good menu choice so I will go back and try a few different things.

We would recommend to all, we had lunch today and it was delicious you couldnt get the smile off my husbands face, he had the seafood Thai green curry and it looked amazing and so affordable at $15.90

Went there today for lunch and had the best meal and service. Order the old fashion fishermen's basket and the kids Fish'n'chips. Was highly impressed with the kids activity pack my son received to keep him entertained. Will definitely be recommending all my family and friends to go there for a meal.

Dined for lunch today with work colleagues. Large group of 18 pax. We all ordered the $15 lunch special - selected meal + a drink for $15 - great value! I had the thai beef salad & it was tasty. All 18 meals came out relatively together which was great. Service friendly. Recommend.
The staff are awesome here! Very attentive and friendly however I didn’t find the food to be that great. My partner enjoyed his chicken but mine quite tough. It was a nice place and the management and staff was perfect but they lost point for the food that wasn’t really worth the price.
Lovely service staff and pretty good food. Nothing fancy, but good pub grub and you gotta love their 2 for 1 deal. My flat head tails were really nice but the chips were heavy. My partner's green curry seafood stir fry was delicious and very generous.
Certainly worth a try and amazing value.

I have come a few times for the 2 for 1 lunch deals and they do not disappoint! The food is absolutely amazing... I go with a group of friends, we all order different things and everyone is happy with the food.
Good Experience. We would have been there for meals at least 30 times in the last year and have never had a bad experience. Food is good, service is friendly and efficient.
Definitely good value. The decor is terrific giving a classy 1930s style.

My family and I went to the Grand Hotel Frankston for dinner great 2 for 1 offers with a large selection of meals including classic style pub food the kids loved their kids meals, me and my wife were very satisfied with ours, very friendly staff all round good experience
will defiantly be coming back

Lunch time 2 for 1 deals are a winner!. I thoroughly enjoyed my two for one eye fillet steak with roast vegetables and mushroom sauce. I was also very impressed that the staff were happy to swap the chips over to roast veggies on such a cheap deal (it ended up being $15 each). There is a huge selection of dishes and everyone I ate with was happy with their meal. No trouble getting a table on a weekday either! Overall, I was pretty happy and will no doubt return.

Great Hotel - Great Food. Have to say I don't agree with the previous comment, that the food and dining experience at the Grand Hotel is as appalling as the diner makes out.
I have been a customer of the Grand for the past twenty years or so, and when dining here I can honestly say I have never experienced rudeness from any of the various staff members.
As for the meals themselves, I don't think I have ever had cause for complaint with anything I have ordered. Their prawns are great, the fish is really nice [especially the beer batter] and the carbonara and spaghetti bolognaise is the best I have ever tasted. I do remember once I was not happy with the salad and they replaced it and gave me a free drink with it. But that is the only incident I can remember in all the years I have been dining there with friends and family.
Of course it is a Hotel, so we are not talking expensive, and for what you get for the price, I consider it one of the best tasting and good value for money Hotels in the area. I have dined in Mornington and Mentone frequently also, and they are not to compare with the Grand.
