Great little place
Great service, team members and better still fabulous food.
There was enough variety that all can have there own unique or specialised meal from the huge range on offer.
It's often the little things that count and this place was big on the little things.
All team members were honestly pleasant, kind and thoughtful. Nothing was too hard to do to make our dining the best experience possible.
I loved the hospitality. Service and everything else they dished up.
Thanks for making our night better for us.

Really great customer service, very helpful with every question my partner and I had about options. The food came out really quick which was fantastic. The food was actually really good so congrats to the chef. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family

Terrible, I am amazed that people rate this above 2 stars, they must never have eaten at a proper Chinese Restaurant.
Been using them on an off for 10 years in the hope they would improve as there are no Chinese places within 10k of us.
(special) Fried rice, is boiled rice with flavourless prawns
All of their mains are (literally) padded out with 80% bland vegetables and a few token pieces of pork/beef
Everything you order in batter is mostly batter.
Horribly overpriced
My experiences are solely from take away, I've never considered actually eating there.

Delicious food and very generous servings. Lovely family who runs the restaurant and they were super lovely and attentive for someone who is just picking up some takeaway for dinner. $14 for a dinner box (fried rice and a choice of protein), and they made a special vegetarian version for us.
Flavoursome and homely meal, will 100% return again! Thank you for our beautiful dinner. :)

Ordered here for the first time after moving into the area. The food arrived hot, the portions - in particular the protein - were generous and the sauces were super tasty. Had the beef and black bean, chicken cashew, lettuce delight, garlic prawns and Mongolian beef.
Great, local, fuss free takeaway option.

Its all about Food! We work in real estate, then w eat Delicious food. My name is Gladys and I work for Elite Women Real Estate, I love Lemon Chicken and at the Chelsea Inn would be one of the best places to dine in and enjoy food with clients. Keep up the great work Team Amy and Chef :-)

Been coming here for a few years and getting takeaway. Usually the budget pack. Unfortunately the food has been going down hill for a while. Tonight the lemon chicken was mostly batter, a really granulated overcooked sort of texture which made me wonder if it was prepared then frozen, the spring roles were overcooked and bland, the beef and black bean was flavourless and the soup was really gluggy. So, it’s time to move on. Good luck, but unless you put more effort into fresh ingredients and quality food, I don’t think I’ll be the last to move on to another Chinese restaurant.

Sad to say that after eating takeaway from this place for years, it has gone to the dogs. My daughter and I just had delivered a Thursday night dinner as a treat and almost every dish will be going into the bin, such a waste.

We ordered special fried rice, it was especially inedible, the rice was old, dried out and crunchy while the meat and veg in it was special in the fact that it all was unrecognisable, we ordered the seafood combination which was promised as prawns, scallops, fish and calamari, what we received was a combination of five strangely textured scallops, two very tough pieces of calamari, some small pieces of mushy, muddy tasting fish and a heap of seafood extender and onion, it had strong smell of old fish and again, inedible. We had the entree serve of porspare ribs in plum sauce, once again the meat smelled as if it was on the turn, there was no plum nor sauce involved in the cooking of this dry, smelly crap and I'm writing this only a half an hour after I tried to eat some of the food from here and after a small amount of a cross section of what was delivered I feel full and bloated with a bad stomach ache.

On the up side is the one other dish, the Mongolian beef, was, while very bland and in no way Mongolian, was, at least, edible.

Would not ever eat from there again and will tell you all what I would tell my friends, this was a very disappointing, for the most part, disgusting waste of time and money.

Hi Guys, we had take away from here (delivered). The kids tasted the rice and complained about the taste so we tried it ourselves and it didn't taste right. We then tasted each of the meals we had ordered, however none of them tasted right either (including the spring rolls and dim sims). I rang to inform the staff however they were not interested. We ended up cooking our own meal for the evening which was what we didn't want to do in the first place- hence the takeaway.... Will not order from here again.

If you are pretentious and need a designer interior to enjoy your meal dont bother.
If you enjoy well cooked and tasty Chinese food at a very affordable price give Chelsea Inn a try, you will not be disappointed.

Food: 5 out of 10. Service: 6 out of 10. Ambience: cold. It looks like other patrons have never been in a good restaurant. The food is mediocre at the least. I will not return.

Food nice/service and wait ridiculous. Thought we would try this got told as soon as we walked in the wait for take away was 20 mins which on a Saturday night is fine. Decided to eat in instead after waiting 25mins for someone to take out order we waited another 25 before deciding this was ridiculous and got them to place our food (that hadnt come) for take away instead this took another 25 mins to achieve. So in all well over an hour for 1 entrée and 1 main. The food itself was nice but not worth the effort

Great Food Great Service. I've been coming to Chelsea inn a number of years now and the food has been pretty consistent. Great thing about the dishes here such as Lemon Chicken, Honey Chicken and Sweet and Sour are not smothered in oil like other Chinese restaurants so you don't end up feeling bloated and sick by the end. Service is great, with staff constantly checking up if everything is okay, looking forward to me next visit.
