Review Nando's - Frankston

I usually like Nando's. It's expensive but the food is usually acceptable. This particular one is the worst out there. Took 10 mins to order because I had to repeat myself so often. The food came out staggered which is a massive pet peeve of mine. The food was ok (see pic) but halfway through our meal someone interrupted us to take our table number away and reached over the food to get it. Also it's the coldest place on earth and ever time someone moves a chair it's so loud on the tiles it feels like you're at a strapping Young lad concert.

These guys do an awesome job. No matter how busy they are they will still serve you with a smile and never have to wait long for our meals. When aver we have a movie night planned a simple call and everything is cooked by the time we arrive ready to eat. Highly recommend this store.

Nando's tend to be consistent no matter where you are in the world and this was no different. Unfortunately, on this visit, I found the staff and food disappointing. The place was a little untidy, staff disinterested and the presentation of the food was less than ideal. It appears to be popular but more as a meeting place than a dining place. However, I'll give it a second chance as it might have been the time of day (lunch time). Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Good parking. Takeaway available.

The strore was busy and only manned with two staff. Together they were doing everything. The food was yummy as always however the store needs a good clean and revamp as it is dirty to look at and very old. The staff are friendly and tried very hard at making sure our orders where prompt. I would go back.

I used to love nandos but the service, portion size vs cost and cleanliness has left. I don’t know what head office is doing but the franchisees are clearly ripping off customers. I had to really look for the chicken in my supreme burger. Chickens aren’t that small!! It’s as if the management of the business is happy for customers to be ripped off, given poor service and for the restaurants to be filthy.

service was terrible... The 2 employees working ignored us for the first 10 minutes and when we were served the lady working the register had no idea what she was doing and then just walked off. The atmosphere is a disaster... If I were the nandos franchise I would seriously look into dissolving any contracts held with this store and its owners. The food its self was nice but certainly not worth the price. I would recommend another restaurant.

Shop is old and dirty, no place to wash your hands, the tear and share platter was missing sliced veggies and the bread portions was small. Compared to other nandos shop this was a disappointment.

Go to a different store. we used to visit Nandos in karingal about once a month as our "take out treat" but have given up in the last 6 months as a result of under cooked food (resulting in 2 different bouts of food poisoning), fair to average service from staff, and hideous follow up from the store managers. The last bout of food poisoning resulted in 3 days sick off work, and missing a non refundable $500 first aid course. After 2 months of chasing up store and area managers via phone, facebook, twitter and email, we got a $50 voucher. which didn't even cover the cost of the meals we originally brought. Even the area manager said we'd be better of using the voucher at a different store as they were "more reputable". I feel like that sums up this branch very eloquently.

My partner and I used to eat here frequently but recently she got food poisoning from the Paella, we were willing to let it slide but when we went in to tell them they argued black and blue over it and didn't even apologise, then the guys wore at us! Disgusting customer service and dangerous food! Avoid at all cost!!

We generally avoid this Nando's because of several previous poor experiences, but went there out of convenience tonight. 15 minute drive home to then find out they forgot to put 2 of the packs of chips in our order so we got to eat chicken with a side of nothing! Tried phoning throughout the evening right up to nearly closing time, nobody answering the phone.

10/10. Chandra is the best, he is always so friendly and makes good wraps!

I personally love this play amazing food and the stuff are friendly..can't say much for my friend Sammie smith she got food poisoning here n hates it.

First time visiting. I’ll start with the good points. The manager or senior member that was on tonight was great. If it weren’t for him we would have walked out. There was a new staff member still learning the ropes which is completely fine. I have patience. What I don’t have is a tolerance for rudeness. Telling me to look at the fridge when I ask what flavours of juice there are ( I’m blind as a bat and the fridge is behind the counter), is not customer service. Then offering me a bottle of water, pretending like you haven’t heard the original request when I inform you I’m not able to see what flavours they are, just made me more frustrated. I understand you have to deal with assholes and this can be frustrating when you are learning but I was perfectly pleasant. It was a simple question to answer considering you were standing right next to the fridge and you only stock two flavours. The food also wasn’t up to scratch of other Nandos Restaurants.

Unfortunately this nandos is a real let down, staff don’t seem like they want to be there can’t speak much English too which makes it hard to order food and the hand hygiene is shocking I really hope one day this nandos improves

So rocked up at 5:45 and it look like the place was shut. Went to place an order and was told it would be 20 minutes. We stayed and it took only 5 minuets. While we were eating numerous people came in and were told also it would be 20 minutes. Kinda seems they aren’t really interested in customer service. Giving Nandos a bad name.

Tried the Vegan range from Nandos on this outing, and was pleasantly surprised with the flavours! Probably one of the better junk food offerings out there :)<br/><br/>Service of this particular store could’ve been a bit better though

I used to enjoy nandos, seems like they are forgetting that customers like to find the chicken in their “supreme burger” for $40 spend on a wrap and a burger both in combos. What a rip off! Even McDonald’s give you more in a cheese burger. <br/>Save your hard earned and go to a real chicken shop and get half a chicken and chips with a drink for $15 bucks. Never going to set foot in a nandos again. Upper management of the franchise is clearly happy with the rip off customer model. <br/>If I could give you no stars I would. <br/>BTW the place was filthy, I was worried that the crunch wasn’t from the lettuce and from something else! <br/>Five brown stars for you 💩💩💩💩💩

Great place to come to with family and friends. Chicken it well made, prices is now much more reasonable than it was before. Place is also very nice and peaceful.

Restaurant is in major need or either a refit or a big clean! Dust and dirt everywhere.. Vents, ceiling, walls etc. furniture outdated, damaged and falling apart. Water glasses are consistently dirty every time I come here. Food is always great along with friendly service but the eating space isn't up to scratch!

The food here is to expected as all Nando's, but the service here is shocking.<br/>The staff are quite rude, when I tried to use a coupon I was told that I should've offered it before starting my order and that I could no longer use it and when I took a napkin I was told that I the napkins weren't for me to take and take them from the other table. A napkin is a napkin, no matter where it's taken from.<br/>Also during their discounted chicken promotion they never honoured it and when I tried to bring it up the cashier would attempt to use the language barrier to avoid it (I believe he was Indian). Not cool.

Nice cosy little Nando's.<br/>Though it needs more seating.<br/>Food takes a little while to come out.<br/>But wraps and chips taste excellent!<br/><br/>Will definitely come here again :)

RAW CHICKEN!!. I don't think I need to say any more..

Chicken is dry. Very dry. No sink to wash hands in. We had a 3 legged whole chicken. We were obviously given leftovers. Not happy. Won't be back again for sure. No sauces. Warm lemonade. Not happy :(
