Review Bib And Tucker - Fremantle

Aaron Balm
We LOVE Bib and Tucker. The food, atmosphere, staff and service are always excellent. It’s perfect for a date night. Cocktails, sunset (that view!) and then the food. Wow. Always leave with bellies full, and hearts content ❤️

Bib and Tucker us special to us because it is the first place my partner and I went on a date We always get the chef menu as we like the variety of the food, not pictured was the entree of lamb which had a sauce which was to die for. This location also has a beautiful West Coast sunset you can enjoy from any table and has a pleasant breeze in the summer For those of us that are fussy about comfort the seats are quite ergonomic and provide a good back angle

Fantastic place to enjoy a good meal and watching the sun set. Staff is very efficient and friendly. We had recommendations from the order taker and all the food turned out great!

Second time dining at B&T and again, it didn't disappoint. Took a friend for her birthday 'champagne breakfast' and the food (Fried Chicken Roti and pancakes) and breakfast cocktail was AMAZING. Didn't even need to have lunch. Need to get to this place more often.

Went here for my first time trying Kangaroo… I’m Canadian and went on a vacation in Australia for a month. I had a cider with my meal and was very happy with it. The kangaroo was so surprisingly good!! Being my first time I was a bit nervous. You must come here to try it! Also you really can’t beat this view and the price point is reasonable considering the quality of the food.

We had a table at the balcony so the view and the breeze was gorgeous. Service was very good and reasonably fast. I only had a limited time and was thinking of just having my cappuccino as I reckon the food will take a while with the present crowd. Nick who served us, took the trouble to understand my situation, went over and beyond to ensure my bacon and eggs benedict was ready with time for me to enjoy my food. And enjoy i did! Excellent customer service from Nick! Am prepared to visit again.

Wow. Amazing, delicious food and beautiful view if you're outside. Get the share plates and bring some friends to try everything. The lamb rib and prawns are exceptionally good.

Great food to match the amazing view Bib & Tucker is always a lovely spot and the food is guaranteed to match the view. We had a wonderful family lunch with great service. Recommended for locals and visitors to Perth.
Nancy Spanbroek
Very disappointed. The wagyu beef burger arrived raw and poorly presented. The plate was strewn with tasteless chips and a smattering of salad. The appearance alone was unappealing. 20 minutes later the burgers returned well and truly cooked and again the plate arrangement was unappealing and the burgers were disappointing to say the least. This will be my last visit!

We had my birthday dinner tonight. All of the staffs including the gentleman who took the order for us are so professional and friendly which make me feel welcome. The meal was amazing. I like every meal we had. We had a great time there with stunning view. Will definitely go to this place again.

The staff were very friendly and a credit to the restaurant the setting was great , the fish was spoilt by the beer batter to thick and over cooked the chips were also over cooked and overall I was very disappointed in the meal as my wife was of the same opinion
Amanda Kinnersley
Superb location attentive staff exquisite food. Desert to die for. Thanks for a memorable experience

I had the Autumn Leaf breakfast and it was great! Tiny pot of tea though... bigger pots please

Amazing food, fantastic friendly service and views to die for! This wasn’t my first time at Bib & Tucker and it certainly won’t be my last. Oh and the absolute BEST Bloody Mary I’ve ever had.

Food was great service was great, we arrived about 40 minutes early for our booking but was no problem at all. I would highly recommend Bib & Tucker to anyone. 👍👍👍👍👍
Loretta Sli
Hands down, the best breakfast menu & coffee in Perth.
Liv Lyra
I love this venue. I’ve now been three times & will return again. Good service, fantastic food (fresh, colourful & fab flavours). Good beverage list as well but you can’t beat the atmosphere & view :)

Called in for late lunch. We had recommendations from our waitress and she was spot on.

We had a lovely family dinner at your restaurant last night. We rate it 10 out of 10 for the food and the service. We definitely will come back again

Bib and Tucker is located in North Fremantle, on Leighton Beach. It’s in a relatively secluded area with just a few residential apartments nearby and a surf club. Looking to the left you can see the cranes of Fremantle docks, looking to the right you can see along the coast to Scarborough and beyond, and looking out to the ocean you can see Rottnest Island.
Food_Glorious_Food
Have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere of Bib & Tucker. On our most recent visit we came for weekend brunch and the place was packed full of diners. They don’t take bookings so be prepared to wait (particularly on weekends). We ordered the huevos rancheros (tasty), the wood fired baked eggs (ordinary, a bit boring), haloumi and cauliflower fritters (very good) and Bibs green bowl (good, especially if you’re looking for a healthier alternative). Coffee is decent, matcha latte was also nice if you’re so inclined. Unbeatable location overlooking the ocean, especially if you can manage to grab a spot on the outside deck on a gorgeous summers day. Highly recommend.
Bacon&Eggs
After returning for a second time I have edited my first review as our second experience was significantly better then the first. Great service with generous portions. Highly recommend the seafood squid ink linguine and kangaroo meat with duckah for mains.

We had a table in the sun on the deck.<br/>I ordered a chargeilled octopus dish with a smoked potato mash. It was delicious, smoky, full of flavours.<br/>The staff was great. Very knowledgeable about the food and all the options.<br/>The view to the beach was a nice touch.<br/>I’d go back any time.

I love bibs I really do have a soft spot for this place. The staff is fantastic and chippy is my favorite!!! (Eleanor) the location is breath taking, situated on the beach front really cant ever disappoint. I really love the food and there is something for everyone! But God I just wish the menu would change a little more often. That's why I've given 4 stars and not 5 xxx but love you guys.

We came at the very end of breakfast service (10.57) yet the waitress who seated us let us order from that menu no problem. The next server wasn’t as friendly, with barely a smile which I imagine was due to how busy the restaurant was at that time. We ordered the breakfast pizza and the crispy ham hock. The latter was the winner of the two dishes, though both lacked an unknown special ingredient we couldn’t put our finger on. We finished both meals and a special shout out goes to the iced coffees which were delicious.

This place is always impressive. For lunch - Crispy pizza bases and fresh seafood paired nicely with a glass of Vermentino. Tacos were a tad small and needed a bit more freshness for balance. If you’re after some dessert, hands down get the Bomb Alaska.
Jellee Babee
Weekday breaky. Balcony table. Bubbly and super efficient waitress. Seriously yummy sliced avo, heirloom tomatoes and two delicious nuggets of fried feta on Strange Grains gluten free toast. The only complaint this morning was the way they serve a long macc... steamed milk on the side so i have to top it up myself... c'mon it's morning and I'm way too tired for that! Besides, it's much creamier when the barista makes it.<br/>Other than that minor grievance, BnT was really excellent today. Get a table outside, watch the beachies, and enjoy Mother Nature at her best #perthisokay

The food and staff were fantastic. Pasta was amazing and so was the scienic view. Only fault is that the food is definitely overpriced and not worth the amount spent ($70 for pizza and pasta). Apart from the heavy price tag, everything was great
Felix
Went for lunch. Great location and view. Food was delicious. We had fish tacos which were delicious, and the roast kangaroo with beetroot was exceptional. Service was attentive without being over the top. Would go again.

AMAZING food! However venue was Understaffed so we had to wait a while to be acknowledged. Amazing views and location and the food was absolutely incredible. Pricy but worth it!
Nalia
Lovely location with great views of the ocean and didn't take long to get a table. Food was a bit hit and miss though and it took a while for the food to come. Breakfast pizza was tasty and pancakes were great, my two fav dishes. Bibs burn addict was disappointing, the pork hock was very dry and corn bread was very sweet and the overall combination of flavours didn't work for me. Eggs benedict was so-so, not sure I liked the brioche bun as a base but the eggs were poached perfectly and hollandaise was nice. Prices are a little steep, possibly because of the premium location?

We came for an early dinner after I found out my husband had never visited! Luckily the food was amazing. I really wanted something light and loved they had the option to order grilled veggies yum! The salad was average but my husband and I both loved the pizza. Service was good and ambiance terrific. I would always return. The location alone is 10/10.
HeeBeeGeeBeeS
Ah-may-zing! The food was top notch. Service was efficient and attentive. The only reason I'm not giving a 5 star, the blue swimmer spaghetti was a bit "sticky". Everything else was wonderful. So wonderful that I'll be back again next week 😁
Mike
Amazing location and friendly staff, nice venue and coffee. Nice pizza but Mains very average especially small portions of dry and chewy chargrilled meat. I'd come back but not for mains. Should really think about adding sauce.

Absolutely gorgeous location and view while eating our lunch here on beautiful summer like day in spring. We ordered the fish and chips and washed it down with a pink gin, while the fish and chips was nice it is definitely overpriced for what you get. The wait staff were super attentive and friendly but the seating feels a little packed in like sardines.

I was Really hoping to give a glowing review after my visit but unfortunately we weren’t that impressed. <br/><br/>Staff & location: Friendly but too eager to sweep our plates and coffee cups away when we’re not even finished. One particular staff although lovely kept hovering around our table to grab them at her first opportunity....she didn’t even ask just snatched them off us. <br/><br/>Has nice ocean view but the competition up the road has a lovely uninterrupted view :) <br/><br/>The seating layout inside is on the cramped side, the waitress had to move before we could squeeze into the very small area. Our table was also very Close next to the other customers, it was impossible to have a private or quiet conversation. They weren’t impressed that we were seated so closely next to them too, for the same reason. <br/><br/>Food & drinks: Food was average and a little overpriced. Coffee was nice and juices were okay. <br/><br/>Misc: Considering it’s the 21st century and most people don’t carry cash, I think it’s ridiculous they charge customers a surcharge based on the total bill for paying via card. If it was via credit card I would be more understanding but I paid well over $80 via my savings account. It would hardly cost them anything to transact it. <br/><br/>Not in a hurry to come back.

The gnocchi here is to die for! Great atmosphere, great views and delicious meals. Bit dissapointing there isnt wider selection of vegetarian options BUT after trying the pumpkin gnocchi, I wouldn't ever order anything else. Cocktails are on point and service pretty fantastic, even when its busy. Pricing is steep and have only been here for dinner so would love to come back to try the breakfast menu. Will be back.

This was our first time at this restaurant and we were blown away. We went for dinner and we couldn’t fault a thing. The waiters were attentive and very knowledgeable about both the food and wines and the food was absolutely delicious, not one bad dish. The sunset view just tops everything off . Overall we were very impressed and will definitely be returning.
FreeEagle
The crispy pick hock entree was superb. The coffee was great (more roasted favour than other typical flat white from other places). The mains were average and nothing special about them

This is a lovely place for brunch with a beachside view. The coffee is great and the pancakes are a must order! If you love eggs, this is another reason to visit this place because they have an awesome chilli scrambled dish as well as the classic eggs benedict and the delicious eggs benedict with crispy pork hock. I would recommend making bookings too as they fill up during peak hours.<br/>

Unfortunately on this visit, the food came out slow, cold, and salty ☹️ staff were still pleasant when asked to replace our bacon and correcting our order which they had misheard. Looking forward to a more positive visit next time.

Gorgeous view and great atmosphere. Every time we have been here the staff are always lovely.  If you're a sweet tooth like me you need to try the Bombe Alaska!! yum yum yum!

Went for breakfast on a Sunday and were seated quickly since we made a reservation. Even though it was packed, our orders were taken quickly and food served quickly as well. We didn't feel rushed either which was good given there were lots of people waiting for tables. Views of the ocean were amazing and there was a good mix in the crowd: beach goers and patrons who were there just to catch up over breakfast. The Banana buttermilk pancakes are amazing, with bananas hidden in between pancakes and light salted caramel sauce at the top!

The location of this place is Great, overlooking Leighton beach. The decor is nice, wood furniture and nice vibes. The food is pretty good, great fish dishes and lovely wine, however the margarita pizza had cheap grated cheese under the proper mozzarella which made it much too heavy and overly cheesy. There is no Wi-Fi here which was quite annoying as we couldn't contact our friends to arrange to meet there. We had a lovely Scottish waitress who was very efficient and friendly. Worth a visit for sure

As an East Coast girl, there is no way that I would go to Perth and pass up the opportunity to appreciate the West Coast sunset. Finishing up on our errands for the day, we drove over to Freemantle beach to walk around a bit and have dinner at the beach-side restaurant, Bib and Tucker. Making a reservation just before the scheduled sunset time, we were able to grab a drink earlier and appreciate the views before our cosy diner. Iron Fist, as usual, had his red wine, and I had my lemon lime bitters. The views at Freemantle beach were truly spectacular.

2017: Had a lovely night here with four people, we sat on the balcony which wasn’t too cold and windy as we had expected. Highlights were the delicious gnocchi and fish taco dishes, would also recommend the whitebait starter/small dish. Had a great, enthusiastic waitress who was attentive and informative. We always finish our night here with the flambéd bombe alaska, a fun time!<br/><br/>Also came for lunch early 2019 with a friend and got the fish tacos with the pumpkin side dish, have to say that pumpkin is to die for! So delicious.

As much as I want to rave about how great this place is, unfortunately...I cannot, I can only be honest. The view is beautiful, it’s a beach though, so that’s not really hard. I love the hobo/scandy decor. Lighting is A bit dark?<br/>Now, I don’t mind paying an arm and a leg for a laid back champagne breakfast. Especially when treating my partner after a hard weeks work. But when you need a steak knife too cut through a piece of toast, and leave with a bloodied lip from trying to eat it, it’s just not on. <br/>The waitress’ are charming young ladies and make great conversation and are extremely polite — there is your rating of 3. <br/>0 for food — especially for that price.<br/>Come on chef(s)...get it right, It’s toast!!?<br/><br/>(Update)31st January- 2018, 10am.<br/><br/>Ordered 2 coffees, didn’t get them for 20-25 minutes after my partner went chasing them.<br/>Why did I bother AGAIN!?
Joss Monnock
Bib and Tucker have the best tasting bacon I have ever had! Slightly charred on the edges giving it a delicious smoky taste. It went perfectly with the baked eggs! Great service and stunning view over the ocean. Perfect way to start the day!!
Ilovebeansprouts
Stunning view, excellent table service and delicious food! Enjoyed the Burrata and  pumpkin gnocchi, but the main highlight of the night will have to be the slow cooked wagyu brisket- meat is so tender, moist and full of flavour! Fish tacos were cooked beautifully, though the taco shell itself isn't the best. <br/>For desserts, you'll be in for a spectacle if you order the Banoffee Bomb Alaska Flambe. It's flamed up as it comes to your table, and you can see the meringue gets toasted. Taste-wise, we prefer the Fried Custard with vanilla apple & chestnut ice-cream as it's more refreshing and lighter in taste, though it doesn't look as grand as the Bomb Alaska. <br/>Overall, a great dining experience. Having said that, it would have been better if we didn't have to wait for a good whole 10 mins at the front counter to pay. A few people were waiting to pay and none of the staff noticed there was a group of people standing waiting at the front.

Almost a 4 scored here? Perhaps. I’d need to try dinner to be sure. Anyway we did Late breakfast? Brunch? Whatever you call it that’s what we did this morning by way of a small family birthday celebration. It’s a great location and the big windows mean that you get full benefit from the magical light which washes in from the unbroken achingly blue sky over the Indian Ocean. Even without eating, the room’s light started to fill me up. The breakfast menu is pretty good. One or two more interesting items liven it up. My huevos rancheros was tasty and filling. The sharpness of the jalapeños a nice counterpoint to the soft sweetness of mushy beans and runny eggs. The coffee was good too. It could have done with more tortilla or some bread to help mop up all that mushy goodness. Which the friendly and helpful staff were only too happy to provide when I asked. Job well done. Tick. Definitely worth a try if only to experience that light. The only minor criticism I have is that it was sooOOo noisy when full. If there was anyway to damp down the echoes from all that glass, perhaps ... but now I’m scratching for bad stuff. Don’t let it put you off trying out Bib ‘n’ Tucker.
Georgina
Nice view and atmosphere but very overpriced. $19 for smashed avocado toast and I had to pay extra $2.5 for 1 egg?! Other cafés charge $19 but comes with 2 eggs!
Marijana Mihaljević
The green egg white omelette is awesome... and huge! No need for toast! Excellent service. Have been here for lunch before, food is always superb. Plus you can’t get sick of that view.

Came here for breakfast on my sisters birthday. There were just 4 of us and we had a booking. It was an extremely hot day and it was very busy. The location is just gorgeous! We started with banana bread with the passion fruit butter which was delish. Highly recommend. My mum wanted something fresh like a fruit salad because it was so hot, but they didn’t have any options like that. We saw a waitress walk past with a big fruit salad and we asked her if we could have that. She said no, this was especially made probably because he patrons were friends with the chef. Anyway we waited an hour for food to come out. While we were waiting the table next to ours all sent their dishes back because their poached eggs were more like hard boiled eggs. Our dishes came out and on the whole were ok. I had the huevos rancheros and it was very heavy on the black beans. Not much freshness to it. It needed more fresh ingredients to cut through the bean mush. It was also way over priced at $26. Go here for the view and the banana bread.
BettyLouWho
For a Wednesday morning, I thought the service would be alright. Boy, was I wrong! Our coffees came out after a 40 minute wait and by the time we had finished them, our food FINALLY arrived. I ordered the Eton Mess ($17), which consisted of a single sliced strawberry, lemon curd, a few sheets of what tasted like stale meringue, plus a sprinkling of granola. For $17, you are really just paying for the view at this place.
Missy
Service is really awful.  No one seemed to notice at the front desk that some customers had been waiting 10 minutes to pay. Lady sat on the phone the whole time and did not acknowledge the 3 lots of customers waiting. It was embarrassing and rude, we felt and in fact were, completely ignored. In the end someone went to the back of the restaurant to find another staff member just so we could pay. Table service is fine but each time we go there seems to be a shortage of staff at the front end.
Lunarcry
This would be my third visit in the space of 2 years and food had always been exceptional. I had the house smoked salmon this time - absolutely delicious. And had a taste of the banana pancakes which were also yummy. Must return! Ring ahead to make a reservation for a spot with beach views.
Koko
Do yourself a favour and seat at the bar in front of the kitchen, that's how you'll get the best experience at bib and tucker. The food tastes even better when you see how the chef meticulously brings it all together right in front of you. It's not only a pleasure to the mouth but as well to the eyes!
Tangyyy
$40 for small jug of pimms filled with ice up to the brim, no fruits insight, only cucumbers and mint. most importantly only tones of sourness which lingered all throughout the drink made it rather disappointing. its as if someone forgot to add the lemonade and dry ginger ale. worst pimms ever, even more so because of the hefty price tag. <br/><br/>Trofie pasta - appreciated the seafood and pasta but again the sour notes of the sauce was overwhelming. <br/><br/>for the quality of the food vs pricing, wont be rushing back anytime soon.
S
Came to Bib and Tucker with a friend for dinner on a Saturday night. Loved the decor, view of the ocean and open kitchen. Staff were prompt, friendly and accommodating. I had the spiced seafood stew which was tasty, but for the price I would have liked a bit more seafood. My friend had oysters and octopus, which she enjoyed.
Hunt4more
Really nice place for breakfast.  Excellent coffee, beta c juice (fresh squeezed beetroot, orange, apple and lemon).  I had pancakes.  Just how I like them.  Fluffy with plenty of caramel sauce, bananas, mascarpone and crushed pecans.  He had eggs benedict.  Really enjoyed it.  Hollandaise sauce was just right for him.  Tangy and creamy enough.  Service was really quick and friendly.  Café is industrial looking.  I gave it a 4.5 only as it has no soft surfaces so was noisy inside and being a long space the beach view was limited to the short end.
Derik
We have been here about 6 times now and still the same. <br/>They are mainly good for their breakfasts and the nice view. <br/>Other than that it is over rated. <br/>NEVER drive there. You MUST take Uber or taxi. The carpark is near the train station and the low life dark coloured scum hang around and break into car as there is no security in the carpark. Even Emon Sullivan said to me that it is a regular occurrence. <br/>You might say "how can you be so specific on the skin colour" well I have dash cam footage of 2 of them smashing my window on my brand new prado. <br/>Any how daytime only and breakfast only. <br/><br/>Cheers<br/>Deryck. <br/>
Viviron22
The food was very good only that it was very busy and I saw lots of people waiting while i was eating the good thing was that it seemed that they were serving people drinks while waiting and had wests outside and inside for people waiting for a table.
Is2389
Cute cafe, Great location and view. Food is pretty average though. Not sure if i would come again. But i think its a good spot to hang out for a few drinks.
Lourdesgibbs66
We celebrated our anniversary here, very disappointed with the food. I had the spicy seafood stew which was delicious however my Husband had the pork belly. We were shocked at the size of the main meal, which consisted of 2 pieces of 2 inch by 2 inch pork belly, which he consumed in 2 mouth fulls. On our way home we stopped for a pizza. Not worth $38.00 for a main meal!

Breakfast Perfection!<br/>One of the BEST Eggs Benedict I've ever eaten. Perfectly poached eggs, crispy bacon & the perfect amount of delicious hollandaise sauce. Also some of the best fries/aioli in town.<br/>On top of this the staff were accomodating, warm and friendly. Music was on point, great atmosphere & what a view! Highly recommend.
Sarah
Well, the coffee was good, luckily because it took 40 minutes for them to make two cappuccinos, two long macs topped up and one latte. I booked a table for 8 for breakfast on Sunday. The restaurant was packed. I've been to Bib & Tucker several times before, and I've enjoyed it (hence why I returned) however, I think maybe they've started biting off more than they can actually chew. <br/><br/>The staff were quick to take our order and very friendly. However, as mentioned before we waiting an absurd amount of time for 5 coffees, with an additional wait time of 60 minutes for our breakfast to come out. My guests were bored and hungry. I was ready to up and leave. <br/><br/>I understand places get busy and the chefs are pumping out the goods as quick as they can, but if you cannot accommodate so many patrons within an adequate amount of time...then don't?! <br/><br/>The image attached is the Eggs Benedict my girlfriend ordered. Simple and uninteresting. It was $19.00. I am bewildered as to how they can charge that price for two eggs on bread with a slice of ham. (Not even a garnish of salad...like cmon B&T that's like, what? 30cents for yal) <br/><br/>Bib & Tucker ain't what it used to be. Nice location & view, with a poor layout of the restaurant always congested near he entrance/exit/counter (safety hazard yo) and with an overall wait time off 1 hour and 40 minutes for a meal we won't be back anytime soon. <br/><br/>Cheers.
The Coffee Devotee
The fluffy buttermilk pancakes went down a treat and very filling but not heavy. The mascarpone on top was a bit bland but, when mixed through the butterscotch sauce, was fair enough. I originally requested a cold brew with milk but unfortunately, after waiting and having to request where my missing drink was, I was informed that they were out of cold brew. Instead, I settled for an iced latte which was smooth and refreshing.
Spudsburgeradventures
Visit on a trip to Wa and had heard good things. We arrived between breakfast and lunch so had a coffee which was delicious and enjoyed the sunshine and fantastic view over the water. We ordered a hot cocktail but the water bath wasn't working so had to go for a cold one which was ok, nothing amazing though. We had the prawn risotto and Sanchez pizza (pulled porky, avo, corn, feta). The risotto was really tasty but the portion was tiny for $25, and the pizza was good but again for $25 I expected to get a whole pizza, not half. Service was pretty good. Overall, nice venue and friendly staff but the food, while tasty, is a bit overpriced for the portions you receive. A good spot to sit out on the deck for a few drinks.

Amazing food and service! Breakfast and lunch are both delicious you just want everything on the menu! Children also well catered for! I love this place!

Instagram worthy place, a view that could just take your breath away.<br/>A much better fish and chips place then kaili's for sure.<br/>I can see myself with my gfs hanging out here for a girls night out and it the cocktails are pretty amazing

There aren't enough words to tell you how amazing this place is. Incredible food at an incredible location. Perfect for drinks or a meal this place is an all rounder.
Stuck In Transit
We’ve heard so many wonderful things about Bib & Tucker, so was quite keen to check it out on a weekend away in Perth. It worked out perfectly as it was mum’s birthday, so were able to get the whole family together on a sunny Sunday afternoon for a few drinks, with stunning views of the Indian Ocean.

Located next to the Fremantle Surf Lifesaving Club, Bib & Tucker has a great view of the beach and plenty of parking. Be sure to book a head as there is up to twenty minute wait for a table during the busy periods. I was seated quickly and my meal was brought in under 7 minutes. For $32 I got a smoothie, a latte and pancakes with a side of bacon, all of it at a high quality. I would recommend.

Had Mothers Day lunch. It was a set menu. Everything was a taste sensation and all 5 of us thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful. Not one thing was left. <br/>We had olives/ bread and dip/ pork hock salad to start. Barramundi/chicken /salad/roast potatoes for main. Ice cream for dessert.<br/>For such a busy day Bib and Tucker should be complimented on the service we got from all staff. They were all okeasant/attentive and seemed extremely happy- wished me Happy Mirhers Day too.<br/>I do go to Bib and Tucker from time to time but my Mithers Day was made so much better by a wonderful meal.<br/>Well done Bib and Tucker!

Came here for a family breakfast - let's just say you definitely pay for the atmosphere and the view/location. Coffee was quite standard. Our meals were okay but they are over priced for what you receive - however that was expected! My smashed avocado was very good, slightly too much olive oil but really enjoyed it. The other dishes tried were the eggs benedict, the salmon tartare and the spicy amigo. All were quite nice with the exception of the spicy amigo that my dad was not impressed with! Very polite staff, super efficient working restaurant. Just quite over priced, exactly what you would expected from a restaurant rather than a cafe. Read more at www.anikajune.wordpress.com

Service was terrible, rude staff. Milkshake cup was only half full, which is ridiculous for the price I paid for it. Pancakes were good, very soft and fluffy
Brayden Davies
visited today for late lunch. Staff were very friendly, got a lovely spot outside ordered 2 pizzas and some drinks(bbq chicken, pork sanchez) after a small problem with the table (a swarm of afeds flew onto the balcony) the staff acted very professional and apologetic and moved us inside and replaced our drinks, despite that food was really good all though the sanchez pizza was hard to cut how ever the flavours of the pizza were well worth the elbow grease. With all that being said Bib and tucker is an awesome beach side location with nice and )trendy food and very Profesional wait staff!
Selenator1989
Highly recommend! I got the breakfast pizza which was incredible. Super tasty and yet reasonably priced. The view was amazing as well. Will definitely be going back!

Great location with awesome views, good service, and decent food. Had lunch here on a Thursday and had a great time. We had a few share plates including oysters with pancetta and herb butter, fish tacos, fish tostadas, pork hock, and hand cut chips with aioli. All dishes were nice apart from the chips, which were limp with no crunch. I'm a big fan of spicy foods, though the pork hock was borderline too hot. The oysters were also great, though the herb butter didn't have much flavour, so it just tasted like oyster, which was fine for me as I love them natural. The fish tostadas were the standout for me, with great, fresh flavours. Definitely worth revisiting

Beautiful restaurant. Location is phenomenal and the food/staff are even better. Perfect for any meal, with amazing pancakes in the morning and delicious entrees/pizzas and mains for dinner. Been here quite a few times and have always enjoyed the experience!
Brianna Lee
Lovely date night dinner for two. Beautiful view out over the ocean and cozy vibes. Great modern menu with the choice of share plates or your own mains. We chose a couple of share plates. Our favourite was the ceviche. All the food was fresh and really good flavour combos. Cocktails were delicious as well. Overall lovely meal for a reasonable price. Only thing I can fault was we had trouble hailing the waitstaff at the end of the meal as they were busy looking after a large table.

Cocktails and snacks on a quiet weekday afternoon with friends. Service would get a 2. Waited at the front as other customers paid. We were ignored by 3 different staff members that came by/person putting payment through. Not hard to smile and say 'won't be long' or any sort of acknowledgement really. <br/>Waited to order drinks for too long once seated. Staff members were floating around but we were ignored (there were only 3 tables in entire venue). <br/>Got food and drinks. Cocktails AMAZING! Some of the best we've ever tried in Perth! <br/>Food - good.<br/>Service again poor. Asked to order more drinks 10 mins later got a menu another 10 mins passed and I got up and walked to find a staff member to take an order. <br/>Friend in this group went back 2 days later for breakfast and said the service was shockers again. Such a basic thing guys. Not hard to smile and be polite! <br/>Will be back even with grumpy service because the cocktails are worth it.

This place offer good coffee and lovely beach view. Pretty average food, baked eggs was too salty and the smoked salmon tartare is a bit too tangy and acidic for my liking. <br/>Staffs are friendly and really enjoy their outdoor seating.

We had a disappointing meal here for a lunch one Thursday. The greeting from the manager was aloof and arrogant and her attitude was as though doing us a favour to find a table. The menu is pricey and our meals were adequate. The salad leaves on our plates were wilted and the potato fries old tasting. The venue has a nice view from some tables although we were not able to appreciate it from our corner banishment despite there being nicer spare tables available the whole time we were here. Good luck with this venue because we would never come back and with service like this I think its days are numbered.

Staffs here are friendly. The restaurant is nice, located near leighton beach, they have spot with beach view which is awesome. Their food are great too.

It was a 30min wait for a table on a Saturday morning, they're seating area is comfy so it wasn't much of a hassle. The beach view is splendid and coffee was good. Got the huevos habaneros the description was promising - jalapeños, egg, tortilla, chorizo, corn, avocado. Individually the ingredients were good but the sauce was lacking any character unlike Mexican food usually have amazing salsa/sauces. For $25+ the dish left more to be desired. Service was amazing and attentive.

First class beach view that will take your breath away with good food.. What's not to love about this place.<br/>I particularly love the pumpkin gnochi. Not too heavy with wonderful olive oil, freshness of kale and sour cream plus some added texture.. Definitely one of the best gnochi in Perth!

Went here early on a Sunday for brekky with my love. Ordered the eggs Benedict and hubby had fruit platter. Staff very friendly and extremely quick service. Food was delicious and we got a table directly overlooking Leighton Beach. Would definitely recommend for value of money and beach view . On a previous occasion, had the brekky pizza which was also delicious. <br/>

Wanted to check out another coastal based restaurant for lunch and I've driven past this place a hundred times so it was time to go in. Surprisingly it was fairly busy for a Monday early afternoon. After seating a couple of other groups we got a table inside under the air con and with a view, good stuff. After waiting who knows how long we ordered or food and drinks. I grabbed the 'beta c' juice it was good, exactly the flavours the menu described and was also cold which was good on a warm day. While waiting for the food i was enjoying the smell of the wood fired cooking, which after I left wasn't as good because my clothes all smelt like smoke. My chorizo pizza arrived and I got stuck straight into it, nice thin base and a tasty simple pizza. On the other hand the salad ordered came with 'fresh herbs' which was code for an entire bunch of coriander and if you're like most people its love it or hate it, I hate it! Something like this should be mentioned on the menu as it is described as an ingredient on other dishes but not this one.  Managed to work around most of it, but it was just everywhere. At paying we mentioned I couldn't enjoy it because of the coriander and the staff member just said "they'd pass it on" and then charged me the full amount plus a surcharge for using paypass. Will not be returning ever.

Had a delightful light lunch and bottle of wine while sitting at the kitchen bar. The service was excellent and the vibe was good. The food coming out of the kitchen looked amazing too. Can't wait to try the chilli prawn pizza.

Had dinner here - beautiful restaurant right on the water, amazing views. Service was good and the food was delicious with lots of variety!

Came for an early weeknight dinner. Service is always pleasant and attentive. We had a generous serve of garlic flatbread with dips and dukkah for starters while enjoying the phenomenal view of the beach. For mains I had the rotisserie chicken with quinoa crackle which was devine and cooked perfectly. Dinner partner had the sticky pork which he said was great. Always a pleasure eating here and will be planning another visit!

Food all tasted amazing but we ordered the Sanchez pizza and it turned out to be half the size of a normal pizza - not sure why it was $27?? We then saw other pizzas being taken to other tables that were full sized, it didn't indicate on the menu which ones were half sizes and they were all around then $20-$30 mark so I'm confused as to why some were half the size of others

Had lunch here with my partner. The customer service and booking experience was great but the value for money and quality of the food was missing. I ordered the Sanchez, Charcoal roasted lamb shoulder, chips and fish tacos. Each item ordered was very neat in presentation, but was really missing flavour and vibe. The chips were shriveled and weren't filled to the top like you would expect for $10 fries! The lamb shoulder was bland and the pulled pork on the Sanchez was soggy and bland. Not sure why people would wait in a line for this place as the line was out the door! It has a great view and good looking food so I guess people are just taking very expensive photos..
Eat My Way Through Perth
Well below average. The pro's - use of the space and slightly different from the norm of the breakfast/brunch menu's around town. Oh and well priced coffee's.<br/>The con's - Over Priced meals for portion size, inability to attend to tables, especially when not busy (was here at ~8-8:30am Friday morning)<br/>The worst part  - the wait staff and front of house staff. We have attended thrice now, and this final time it was not busy at all. In fact, a few long tables in door empty. There were clearly 2 ladies who were meant to be operating the welcome desk/seating situation (a little older than the wait staff and not in aprons). We waited over 15 to 20 (?) mins to pay the bill - we were so close, so close to walking out and calling through to pay for the bill. It was obvious that the wait staff could not come to the front to settle or seat people waiting. Numerous waitstaff gave us apologetic looks and when I walked back to request that someone come to the front so we can settle the account, they said we have to get the 'XXXX' as we are not allowed too open the till. When one lady finally came to the front she answered the phone (??! seriously at least 6 people waiting plus us trying to pay) and held up her finger when someone approached her to request seating.<br/><br/>A shame to rate a 1/5. 1 is for the coffee. Good job there..... a big shame that this  place that is riding on their popularity of their location and owners. Improving front of house staff, payment flow and seating would see this place do really well.<br/>

amazing views, friendly staff, beautiful food, bib & tucker is a must try. buttermilk pancakes, avo smash, red passion juice, doppio, macadamia shake, chocolate & hazelnut shake - all delicious!

----<br/><br/>OCT 2017:<br/><br/>Visited again. I booked again and was given a seat inside, which is annoying when you book ahead and request outside (I understand sometimes outside tables may not be avail)especially when tables are available & people who came after us with only 2 were seated outside to a table of 5. Staff were again unhappy to be working and it showed even more this time. No one checked up on us at all during our meal. Asked for coffee to come later and they brought it out before. Ham was way too salty and ruined the dish that was mildly warm. No one followed up with us when leaving despite making eye contact, and no staff smiled or said have a nice day / thanks. Overall will no longer be returning due to too many sour experiences. Shame the place over the road has closed because that was an exercise in what customer service and good food should be. <br/><br/>---<br/>Oct: 2016. Nice eggs benedict, ridiculous paying system - every time it's a shambles and annoying to deal with as a customer. My dining partner enjoys the banana bread w passionfruit jam (and wishes it was available to buy). Would definitely be regulars on weekdays - as the weekend experience we had was no bueno - if the customer service issues (+ too cool for school waiters) are sorted out.

LOVED it! Food was super delicious, perfect spot for a cafe. Amazing view, average staff. Food did take a little long, but the quality was definitely worth the wait. Will definitely be back for more!

This place is the perfect location for brunch on a nice spring day. The view was beautiful and we were able to sit outside and actually enjoy the view and fresh air in comfort -thanks to outdoor heating. The menu is creative and the staff were happy to accomodate changes and allow us to order off the sides menu. Coffees were hot and food was delicious. Such a fab morning. Will def return.

Service was alright, not great though. Roast pork, beef, and pizza were delicious. Cooked just right! Tables were spaced appropriately and ample parking!

It was my third time to be here in Bib&Tucker. Nevertheless, this was my very first time to sit down properly for a dining experience in this beautiful cafe situated along the beach. The first impression towards Bib&Tucker still stays in my mind after a year. A first step taking into this fancy restaurant, hospitability waitresses came for a welcoming greet. Then, started looking around, seeing the wine wall cabinet. Walking and following the friendly waitress straight down to the restaurant for your table tonight, you would be attracted by the 180 degrees of uninterrupted views of the coastline and the stunning Indian Ocean. Under the brilliant overlooking view, we ordered the hand cut chips which sound unromantic. I knew it! Therefore, we both agreed to be back for a perfect dinner to celebrate our anniversary.

Went for coffee and cake this after.<br/>Decided on Mango and banana smoothies.<br/>Gobsmacked to find prepack plastic cup and straw.<br/>For $8.50 each not happy.<br/>Come on guys you can do better than this.<br/><br/>

Good coffee, great pastries, really good food with a diverse menu and top beach views. What's not to like. A little pricey and just a touch pretentious but hey, when you're hot you're hot. Thanks for a great breakfast. I always bring friends from Melbourne here because it's got the east coast quality with way better views. You can't eat breakfast in Melbourne overlooking the Indian Ocean. Lovely.

Well, i have been to bib and tucker for breakfast and lunch because of where it is situated, overlooking the beach. They have a salted caramel pancake which was a must eat. Another of my favourite is the middle eastern breakfast. For lunch, i like their fish tacos and salted cod fritter. They have a good drinks menu. Its a lovely place to relax, have a drink and small bites, when passing through freo!
Queen Of Bad Timing
I really only had eyes for one dish. The truffled steak tartare with sourdough wafers, watercress, fermented turnip and Manjimup truffles ($24.00). Seeing as we were at the end of truffle season, it felt right to indulge in one last earthy plate for the year – and I’m so glad I did.<br/><br/>The steak tartare was creamy and literally melt in your mouth. I loved how tender it was, and the balance of the dish thanks to the pickled turnips and peppery cress. The sourdough wafers were cut nice and thin, and provided an excellent vessel to scoop the meat onto without falling apart.

Went for breakfast and was told we were too late so we waited an hour for the kitchen to open and ordered shared food plates for lunch . The quality was substandard and the service non existent so we asked for the manager on duty when we left and the best they could come up with was thanks for the feedback very disappointing won't be going back <br/>

I was actually really excited to try this place out because I've seen people checking in the location on instagram, but it wasn't worth the hype unfortunately. I went there for lunch and ordered quite a lot, but nothing really tasted amazing or worthy of coming back for a second time, but maybe the breakfast and dinner menus are better. I ordered:<br/>-Soft shell crab slider ($9.00)<br/>-Wagyu beef burger ($23.00)<br/>-Squid ink pasta (Can't remember the price of this dish, and I can't find it on the online menus)<br/>-Ham and cheese pizza (Off the kids' menu)<br/>-Turkish spiced chicken pizza ($26.00)<br/>-Hand cut chips & aioli ($9.00)<br/>-Mixed berry & honey smooth ($8.50)<br/><br/>I know the 'Soft shell crab slider' was on the 'SMALLS' menu, but it was so tiny I was so disappointed, the bun was smaller than the size of my palm ( And I have really small hands). It was basically the size of those little sauce dishes for serving condiments (You'll know what I mean by looking at the picture I'll upload with this review). It was definitely not worth $9.00. I know that crab isn't cheap but even then, it was still definitely too small for $9.00. The 'Wagyu beef burger' was a decent portion and a little pricier than other wagyu beef burgers I've ordered but it wasn't overly expensive like the 'Soft shell crab slider'. You could probably get the same quality for cheaper elsewhere. The 'Squid ink pasta' wasn't too tasty but the mussels that came with the pasta were good! They were probably the highlight of the dish! The 'Ham and cheese pizza' was your basic ham and cheese pizza (This was ordered for my little sister). 'Turkish spiced chicken pizza' was a stand out because the shape was different and the turkish dough was very fresh! To be honest, the 'Hand cut chips & aioli' were probably the 'dish' I enjoyed most when looking at value for money. <br/><br/>Now for the smoothie. I wouldn't recommend anyone to order the 'Mixed better & honey smoothie'. It was so small! And it was given to me in a tiny take away cup. I don't know if someone else had ordered it to go and didn't end up picking it up and so they gave it to me because I ordered the same smoothie, or if they accidentally made extra, or if the serve they gave me was their actual serving size. I wouldn't be too fussed about the take-away cup if it were a decent size! I payed $8.50 and probably got the amount of smoothie you would fit in one of those little plastic kids' cups!<br/><br/>As for the service, we arrived without making a booking and were told there were no tables even though it didn't look too busy (because apparently every free table we saw must have been reserved), but we waited about 30 minutes for a table. The lady at the counter who was telling us that we had to make a booking wasn't very friendly, but besides that the other staff/waiters/waitresses were attentive and welcoming.<br/><br/>Overall, the dishes weren't bad in terms of taste, but you could probably get the same quality for less money elsewhere and the smoothies are definitely overpriced! I don't think it's okay to give such a little amount no matter how fresh the ingredients are when you're charging $8.50! I Would probably come back to try the breakfast and dinner menus, but probably not coming back for the lunch menu again. But to end on a better note, the view is gorgeous from their tables outside!

What's not to love about this place!!!!<br/><br/>Love the buzz and the location and the salted cod fritters = divine!<br/><br/>Have been more than twice for lunch and have also been for breakfast. Breakfast standard fare and delicious but would like to see a tapas style/tasting plate brekkie selection so I can have more than just my eggs benedict. Can be a little slow on followup service once your order is received.

This morning's breakfast was delicious. My daughter had pancakes with cream and caramel sauce and thought they were amazing. I ordered the smoked salmon tartare with poached egg on rye. I would normally choose salmon tartare over smoked salmon tartare but this effort was very good. The coffee was excellent. We also had the most spectaculy view of the surf lifesaving kids and parents on Leighton Beach. Such a magnificent way to celebrate Fathers Day!

From start to finish, faultless.<br/>Greeted warmly at the door by the delightful staff who were exceedingly friendly and attentive throughout without being obtrusive. <br/>The coffee was perfection, the breakfast presented perfectly and even exceeded the description on the menu unlike many places where the opposite is the case. I had ham hoc with white beans, kale pesto and a crisp herb and crumb crusted poached egg still soft in the middle. My partner had the salmon tartare with crisp capers and avocado among other items. Both were superb. I can only say thankyou and we will be back. <br/>Oh forgot to mention the amazing view.<br/>It doesn't get much better than this. <br/>(Ps: the loos are eco friendly.)😃

Came here for breakfast with my parents on a busy sunday morning and couldn't fault a single thing. Greeted on arrival by the cheerful maitre de we were told there would be a 20 minute wait for our table, so we waited in anticipation with a coffee in hand. We were shortly seated at a long share table and introduced to our waitress who was energetic and eager to take our order. Service was great, and food outstanding. Ordered the truffle eggs, avocado smash on toast and mexican baked eggs, with fresh preshed juices. Everything tasted incredible and the little wait for food was definitely worth it. One of the best breakys we've had in a long time. Will definitely be returning soon.

Lovely view and good coffee, had the set menu for a family birthday celebration for breakfast and the food was good but nothing spectacular that I would personally rush back for. The staff were friendly too which is nice and the location is perfect as well as offering some things other cafe/restaurants don't such as places to leave your dogs and water for them etc.
