Hadn’t been to grill’d for a while so stopped here for lunch and had a Caesar’s palace chicken burger, it was nice and fresh with plenty of toppings. I lt was pretty quiet so service was quick.
Definitely a good burger option in Freo as being a franchise you know what your going to get.

Very unhappy looking staff with not the best customer service. Waitress leaned across my friend at the table to hand me my foot instead of walking around to my side of the table. Food was nice & came out quick & hot which was great, although it was hard to enjoy as there were so many little fruit flies / bugs flying around the restaurant

For burgers for my family and they along with the chips were stone cold. But the kids enjoyed their $4.50 cans of coke. They couldn't stuff that up at least that was supposed to be cold. Never coming back, really, really sucked.

For the 4th time I have ordered Simply Grill'd Burger with sauce on the side. I don't like too much sauce. And for the 4th time, in a row, sauce on the side and also in the burger!!!! Can it really be that hard?????? Sorry but 4 times is way too many. It's a pity. I like your burgers. I just can't get them they way I would like.

A good selection of all types of burgers, including vegan options. A bit disappointing they had run out of onion rings, but no big deal. The toilets were kind of grotty, out through the fire escape and locked with a key on a frying pan

Went for a late burger and asked for the wagyu burger extra patty and one beer.
After 15 min (good timing) I receive the burger with only one patty and I point the fact that one is missing ( it can happen) the waitress walks in and after a minute comes back with the second patty.
I look at it and I’m like, this is not wagyu and they try tell me that it is ( casually the patty was already cooked), I point out the fact that I am a chef and I studied in Italy and I know how to recognise a simple beef burger from a wagyu one and they admit that they got confused and made me another one.
After another 15 minutes of wait, I get my burger, and they were both with normal beef no wagyu.
I didn’t even complain because I could notice that they didn’t care that much, I ate and I left.

first stepped into the place and immediately regretted my decision, people there were horribly rude including the staff. music was too loud and lights were too dim, it was impossible to hear and very hard to see. not an atmosphere you’d like to be around for a nice dinner. i then needed to go to the bathroom, which took me atleast 10 mins to get the key for, and once i finally found it i saw the disgusting bathroom. no toilet paper in sight, the floor was wet with old used toilet paper from previous people using it and the lock didnt shut properly. last thing to report is the walk to the bathroom, isnt illuminated at all. it feels unsafe and it is not inviting at all. do better grill’d i know you’re capable. left without purchasing a thing.

Burgers were served quickly, but cold, the cheese didn’t even met. Grilld use to have lovely juicy burgers, they seem flat and dull now. Also saw a waitress walk into the toilet with her apron on, which is gross.

The worst high tea experience I've had. Scones were stale, coffee was gross. No one was re-filled or told we could refill. People who didn't drink bubbly were left without a drink for an hour or so.

Service was fine, food came out quickly. Spent exactly $35 between two people. My burger (Wild Wild West) wasn't rested, my entire plate was covered in juice and the bottom of the bun was soaked. The chips had waaay too much rosemary on them, it was overpowering. Seems like they still need to get the basics right - resting meat, proper spice mix, etc. Hard to justify the price with the quality, probably wouldn't go back.

Family of 5 visited for lunch on a Saturday with the AFL Grand Final that day. The food was terrific and everyone loved it. A shame no hot drinks are served at Grill’d though.

Thumbs up to friendly and attentive places sometimes you do not even see at the upscale restaurants, many should learn from them. Burgers are well sized and vegetarian choice is cool. Not as cheap as maccas, but burgers are definetely better :) Good spot for burger souls I reckon.

I love Grill'd! The staff are always positive and helpful. The food is delicious, and the complimentary sauce and water is really lovely. I recommend trying the Sliders. The fundraiser tubs are a really nice touch too. I definitely recommend Grill'd.

My bf had a crispy bacon n cheese burger with low carb bun, then he had the worst food poisoning ever. We had been eating the same thing except on that meal, so we are very sure that there is something wrong with the burger. When you go there, make sure your beef patty is properly cooked, you can eat a steak rare or medium rare but NOT minced beef!!!

Absolutely love this place. Food is also delicious, fast and we love the service. The team down here are always so happy, efficient and it appears that they must have an excellent company training standard because every one of the young crew down at is such a delight and very professional. Helpful staff, usually quick service and are open late (& willing to serve customers near closing time). I've only really had the sliders/kids meal, which are good although sliders + chips gets a little hefty, today it was $19 for 2 sliders and chips. They are filling but I guess for the price I should probably order a regular burger, that said am happy to pay that when quality is good.

Love the gluten free rice flour buns at Grill'd. The staff was super helpful. We had the mustard and pickle burger with the herbed fries(absolutely DELICIOUS with the sweet chili mayo).. <br/><br/>Don't forget to pop the bottle caps they give you in one of the 3 charity jars they have on display. They donate $500 every month between the 3 causes. Lovely initiative!

Like it here. Very fast service if you need to eat in a hurry. So far we had Simply Grill, Shepherd's Delight, Chilli Addict, Mustard and Pickle and my fussy son had Steak Sandwich. The zucchini chips and their plain chips are good too. Not dissapointed yet. I hope they do not go downward like any other burger joint.

Grill'd is the best!! I ring and order and by the time I get there it's waiting for me- under 10min! I ordered the superpower salad- double chicken, no dressing. So accomodating to menu changes and they haven't stuffed it up yet! Def rate this place!!

Came in for a quick lunch and wasn't disappointed! I went for the Wild West burger: beef patty, bacon, cheese, beetroot & egg, GORGEOUS! Good price and so filling! The food came out super quick and hot, which I wasn't expecting & friendly staff :)

Really enjoyed lunch here today, decided to have the beef sliders with mustard and pickles & sweet potato chips. The sliders were really tasty and filling and the combination on the sauces in them was perfect. The chips were a bit soggy but still tasty. Mum enjoyed her Wild West Burger and chips as well. Not usually a big fan of Grill'd(personal preference) but I was pleasantly surprised today, service was friendly too

I had planned to go for a quick bite at the Freo markets but the large crowds changed my mind. I’ve always wondered what the burgers are like at Grill’d, so I ventured in. Friendly staff greeted me at till to take my order and I decided on the lamb and goat cheese burger with some sweet potato chips and hot chilli mayo on the side. It is fairly dark inside, but decided to find a table near the window to watch the passing traffic. Food arrived reasonably quickly, and was nicely presented. The chips had good fresh flavours and loved the spicy mayo; perfect combination. The burger was fresh, and again wonderful flavours with a nice slightly crunchy sourdough bun. I was hungry and it hit the spot. Will have to try a few others sometime.

I felt a bit guilty going here because it's become a bit of a juggernaut chain. But that's also a reason to go - you know what you're going to get and it's reliably good :) Try the chilli addict burger, it's a fave.

Eeehhhh...just another stock standard burger joint. I feel the fad is phasing out. Sweet potato chips are good - the BYO is handy too. Problem with these chain stores is that the menu rarely changes.

Right on the cappuccino strip this burger joint has several large outside tables. Burgers always tasty and a good level of service. Good usually comes pretty quick even on Saturday nights.

I am a grill'd freo regular. I usually prefer this site to the others however of late, whoever is making the salads has become very stingey! I ordered a take away salad the other night and was alarmed at how little there was?! And the in house salads have been no better, filling no more than half the bowl when they have in the past been so generous. That said, great burgers and awesome sweet potato chips but please, lift your salad game...

I can't help myself from always coming back to grill'd. The burgers are consistently delicious and their chips are tastey. The staff are all super nice and really alert. The food comes out really quick, even if it looks busy. I especially like the sweet potato chips and the field of dreams burger.

Ordered a Wild West burger and a hot bird with a side of chips. Chips were decadent. Hot Bird was a highlight. The Wild West however was a bit samey if that makes sense. The flavors all melded together. Having said that the service was outstanding and the waiting time excellent. Overall a good pass. Probably come back again

Ordered their beef burger Summer Sunset, it was ok the meat was quite juicy but nothing great about it, and with only ONE BURGER without side like chips for 12.50 was bit overpriced. Waited another 15 minutes for the Sweet Potato Chips, and being asked the same question by their staff again and again " are you still waiting for anything else to come?" while they were trying to grab our number stand.. Three of them in total within 5,6 mins... Pretty annoying as they were concerning about taking back the number stand, but not our waiting time. Talking about the chips, it was being grilled I believe as it was really dark and burned and tasted really bitter and nothing like chips it was more like a baked but burned sweet potatoes

Grill'd is one of my favourite burger joints in WA, and the Freo one doesn't disappoint. The burgers are always brilliant and the staff are lovely!

Good spot, friendly staff, great burgers.. Our second visit was even better than the first! Lovely waitress was polite, friendly and really good at her job. Either a natural or well trained by a good manager (or both) three of us each order different burgers, they all came quickly and were spot on, properly cooked beef and chicken, fresh, crisp salad and lightly toasted buns. Chips were also hot, freshly cooked and lightly flavored. We live in Midland so it's a long haul to Freo but well worth the trip, plus you get to watch an very entertaining passing parade of people.<br/>Come on Grill'd - open up in Midland, promise we will spend on burgers what we save on petrol!

Don't Bother a " posh Macca's "!!!!. Thought We would give this new shiny franchise group an opportunity to prove they are as good as they say... We shouldn't have bothered. The whole experience was very disappointing , cold dry meat, dry buns and gritty salad a massive let down and vow we will never go back.

Great burgers. We chose two vegetarian burgers and I was impressed. Both were tasty and the side of chips were a decent portion (we'd gone to another burger place a few weeks back and we got half the amount for the same price) and tasted great. Nice to go to a place with tasty vegetarian options.

Disappointing. Had my first Grill'd burger tonight in Fremantle.<br/>Chose the Chilli Addict because of my love of chillies.<br/>What I received was a disappointing dry tasteless filling between a bun.<br/>I doubt if the multi national chains could have done worse.<br/>For the price with the added chips and drink , I felt duped.<br/>A waitress came and asked me if 'all was good' before I had taken my first bite.<br/>Had anyone asked again a couple of bites later, I would have responded.<br/>Once bitten twice shy.<br/>With all the excellent reviews I thought I was onto something good.<br/>Did I just get the one that had been lying on the grill for the past hour?

Nailing it. These guys are really getting it right. The burgers are Joy the service was excellent and the music was good. We went with our son who is 18months old he was made to feel very welcome we will definitely be returning soon.

Best service in Fremantle. I had a burger here the other day, Baa lamb burger I believe it was called. Whilst it was a juicy and very tasty burger, the service was what really stood out for me. It's really great to see a genuine "diner" style restaurant standing up and delivering a friendly and cheerful service. I'm on the grill'd bandwagon and can't wait to go back!

This has to be the place for a quick, healthy snack. I selected the steak burger. It arrived shortly afterwards. A lovely, tender, perfectly-cooked, scotch fillet in Turkish Bread with an excellent salad. On top of that, the staff were pleasant and genuinely helpful. I was attending a Film Festival and had a 20 minute break for 3 days, so I went 3 times and the experience was great each time and I got back to the next film in good time. The steak sandwich is the Australian "model dish" and they passed with flying colours. And a good price too.

Above average burgers. Called in on a spur of the moment on Friday night. Potato chips just ok, the beloved liked the sweet potato chips. <br/>Service was friendly and relatively efficient. <br/>Would go back, however not our first choice in Freo for a tasty burger.
