Review Chocolateria San Churro - Fremantle

Courtney Price
San Churro has definitely improved from what it was. The staff were so friendly, service was great, the Churros were nice and crunchy, the salted caramel was full of flavour the Peanut butter was Peanut butter but mixed with the salted caramel was even better, the cookie monster macaroon was nice and soft, the hot chocolate was nice and sweet but the dark hot chocolate was a little bitter but after putting one sugar in it was great.

I found the service to be just ok at this particular cafe. San Churro's is a chain of cafés offering the same (spanish) experience irrespective of the location. Go for it if that's what you feel comfortable with. However, these type of cafés lack the characteristics that reflect the culture and cuisine of the local area. So, when in Freo, you might want to try those locally owned and operated cafés to get the geniune Freo experience.

The staff was nice, but my churros were a bit under cook and the fruits was not that fresh, but it's Friday night, so it was really busy so that understandable.

This is by far the BEST store in Perth, we are so so excited to go back but not just for the amazing hot chocolate but for the service we were provided. The customer service her is second to none specially Ivan and the Forrest Brothers. They have a great future ahead so to whoever owns the store you better keep them happy as many others would love to take them off your hands including me :-)

Just stopped in after dinner so friendly staff grate food it hit the spot after a great dinner

Best sanchurros store in Perth. Service is always fantastic and today was no exception.

Incredibly rude service from Brandon. I kindly asked about my recently expired birthday churros (if there was any way they could still honour it) and instead of receiving a bare minimum spoken response just received a shake of the head. When I asked why the price was $2 more than advertised again instead of receiving a spoken response, he just rudely pointed to the sign about the public holiday surcharge. Subsequently, he made my girlfriend awkwardly lean over the counter to hand him her keep cup, instead of simply extending his arm to meet her halfway. I understand it was probably a busy day for them but I would expect more than shrugs and annoyed gestures to reasonable, simple and kindly asked questions.

Waited for an hour for our churros. Then told it would be the next one out. 10 minutes later and watching 3 other orders come out I got our money back and left. Lots of people waiting for orders, store not that busy. Very young inexperienced staff with poor customer service skills.

I always come here during lunch break and after uni since it’s so close to my uni. I love the mood and ambience in here because you can study and relax at the same time. I loved the staff as they were always nice and approachable. Customer service is really great.

I went there in July 2020, the place was filthy and understaffed. I asked a staff member to clean our table. She left a worse mess than than before. I had to dry the table, and clean the table next to us that was full of dirty dishes. Not to mention how filthy the floor was. Wont be going back there.

Ordered two ice creams and they were quite nice especially the cookies and cream.
In addition and at the same time we ordered a water and two coffees. We received the two ice creams immediately however after approximately 20 minutes two of us had finished the ice creams and the rest was still not served. Additionally out table was not cleaned and could not see anyone employed to clean tables. We finally gave up and requested a credit. We received our money back for the two coffees but still did not receive a credit for the water. It was very obvious that the place is understaffed and a high level of focus seemed to be placed on Uber eats and lost focus on patrons in the restaurant like us. Very disappointing and not conducive to drawing people to Fremantle. You lost me!!!

How could you not love coming and hanging out at chocolateria San Churro! I have been here (well churros all around WA - not here here per se) - countless times and always have good time! Staffs are always friendly and their dessert is really good too! I like how they always refresh their menu every season - to keep things interesting you know!
Perth Eats
had to send my original coffee back as it was grey and completely tasteless. on the other hand, the waitress was very apologetic and accomodating. she made a new coffee which was considerably better, but i do have to say it still wasn't great. come to this branch for the food, not the coffee.
Guildford News
Waited for over 30 minutes for two flat white coffees. That was after I reminded the waitress after she brought out the ice cream for our kids.
The service was obviously slow and was understaffed on the day we visited (during the Fremantle festival).
We will not return again if the place is even moderately busy as there are better options nearby on South Terrace.

Can't really fault this place as its a food chain.
What I would recommend them to do is to make sure they have enough workers for every shift as the wait is quite tiresome.
Choice and quality is fare and price is reasonable

All sam churros are the same which is good for quality control. Was really really nice to get free churros on my birthday. The sundaes are full on and so yum

It's San Churros what more needs to be said. Been here quiet a few times and the staff are friendly no matter how busy it has been. Food and coffee always comes out in a timely fashion. If fact our biggest problem at this place has been getting a table particularly if there is more than 2 or 3 of us. Just far enough off the strip to be away from the traffic during the day but not so far removed you miss out on some of the interesting characters that always seem to inhabit the area.
Little Aussie Epicurean
SWEET SWEET SWEET! The churros are what they are famous for and there are various serving size options to suit everyone. Jb loves the hot chocolates, being almost like drinking melted chocolate infused with warm milk & not the other way around lol so I find these a bit too sweet.
Foodie In Paradise
I used to come to this place quite frequently after work. It was always a good place to be when I needed some chocolate fix. Service was slightly slow on the day.

My partner and I ordered the funnel cake and churros for 1 take away today Saturday 8/04/2017. Staff needs to be trained on how to serve and prep better. She put ice cream in with the hot stuff in the same container. By the time we reached our place 10 minutes later it was all melted and turn to the side. I will never come back.

Visited on a busy Saturday night and the wait time to get our order was rather long. However the staff genuinely apologised and the delicious coffee with NYC cheesecake made it worth our while.

Visited two locations and the experience was consistently good.

Cold chocolate drink. Cold tea. Stale churos. When provided feedback the only reply was sorry. Not coming back. Please don't waste your time or money.

I have wanted to try the churros for a while. I finally tried them on the weekend at the Freo store. I had the churros with milk chocolate dip which I ordered at the counter. They came out quickly and were crisp and warm. The churros themselves do not have any flavour, but with the chocolate dip the whole dessert takes on a special and descendant treat. Will have to give some of their other options a try.
Ines
I don't know what's with the San churro desserts in general but they are too rich to my taste and always a hidden flavor. My friend went for a mud cake that tasted like cherries. We read the description again and it was definitely not written, couldn't eat the cake because cherry flavor Is not chocolate flavor. I do like their hot chocolate but they do need to fix their desserts. Especially for the price they ask for.

Can anyone say customer service? The Thursday before school holidays goes back, I took my little boy out for a great day of things he wanted to do in Fremantle, one was to get some churro's too share together, thought while I Was there I would grab some for my partner aswell as treat. Stood at the counter for 8-10 minutes being completely ignored. It was a ghost town and I was the ghost! I cannot believe how rude these people are. If you are someone that likes to pay for GOOD customer service. Go get yourself a chocolate Sunday at hungry jacks down the road!!! Unbelievable.
Marita Putland
Been to Chocolateria a few times. Usually the churrios are delicious but decided on creme brûlée. It was out of stock. We then decided on the churrios. Unfortunately they were over cooked and the serve of chocolate was so small we actually didn't have enough to dunk our three churrios. It is a shame but not going to rush back. Coffee was nice thankfully.

Love this place to chill out. Churros are always crisp and yummy. Staff are friendly too. Food arrived promptly. Wish they didn't have extra surcharge on public holidays though.

As of up to recent, I was a frequent satisfied San Churro Fremantle customer.
The last time I went, however, I was absolutely shocked to see the store owner of San Churro scream at their employees, treating them like dirt and bring them to embarrassment in front of other customers.
It is evident there is a new store owner, which definitely will no more be receiving my coffee cash. The employees seem stressed and there is no fun in work.
It used to be a place with interactions and building relationships between customer and employees. Now, it appears we are just what we are, just customers (walking money). I say a horrible leader, that has no grasp of the fish philosophy or basic hospitality knowledge is in charge of the store. Unfortunately.
LittleGirlBigFood
I think the location of this San churro is fabulous! Have you noticed San churros are ALWAYS in the best locations. Great hot chocolates! Get them with cream!
LS
Very pale churros with limited cinnamon sugar, not sure if it was a trainee making them? Had tastier churros from a theme park! Chocolate sauce and strawberries were good.
Diner
I came to your store to treat a 15 year old for his birthday , last night . He had never been before . It was very unimpressive , to have to queue to place an order and then to realise that what you had chosen on the menu was in fact an extra $6 ( read the small print and not the photo) , to then receive it and be underwhelmed , in fact we didn't finish it . a waste of my hard earned money and an experience but not a treat for the birthday boy . Basically the problem were the Churro , were overlooked , dry , the tast of the oil was left in the mouth . Seeing that is what is your thing , last night it was done really badly .

When I'm in the mood for a chocolate feast I head to San Churros. The cafe is a South American themed temple to chocolate. In fact if you want something that isn't incredibly chocolately- go somewhere else as there isn't much else on the menu.
My favourite thing is the sugar free hot chocolate and the milk chocolate ice cream- I have one in the winter and the other in the summer. For anyone doing the sugar free diet the sugar free hot chocolate is a must. Thick and creamy and full on chocolate.
The San churro in freo is a narrow little place that's seen better days but none the less charming. Service is inconsistent and the cafe is full of schoolies at weekends.
They only have a couple of tables outside that you have to be lucky to catch.
For a chocolate fix there is no where better.
Shaun
The churros were on the pale side but very crunchy and tasty dusted in cinnamon and icing. Not sure which I like more - milk chocolate or dark chocolate. Mmm, just chocolate! Love them both. So yum! A naughty experience and I won't apologise!
Michelle
This San Churro is almost as busy as the Northbridge one, but with less seating. The line does move pretty quickly, however when dining in you'll be waiting a bit for all your stuff to come out if you're in a group. The waitstaff are good, and the food and drinks are the usual delicious fare.
Cluelesstraveller
Service is really slow, waited for 30 minutes for sundae. The brownies and strawberries in the sundae tasted nice, however the ice cream has melted (most of it) and it was winter. What happen if its summer. Poor customer service, when I complained, the waiter just said he didn't make it and didn't know about it.

Nice churros though. I think should just stick to churros the next time we eat here.

Can be a very long wait due to the popularity of this place. This was one of the originals in Perth and it's stayed the distance! Always great cakes and chocolate goodies.
Duckduckgoose
Three words, my friend: chocolate brownie sundae. Ohhhh yeahhhh...

The Spanish hot chocolate is really thick and yummy, though make sure you haven't eaten a massive feast over at Bella Roma or Gino's, or that smooth, thick consistency might make you wish you'd left more room.

A firm favourite for 'coffee and cake' post-dinner eats in Freo. Could do with a good clean in parts (the couches are getting a bit ratty) but overall a good place to stop by.

Disappointing. Arrived for a chocolate night cap and have to clean before we can sit
Anne
Worst san churro chain in WA. Staff were young with bad customer service and sooo slow. We ordered two Spanish hot chocolates, ended up waiting for 20 minutes and were given two disgustingly sweet coffees. When we went back we were told they thought we order Spanish coffee? Couldn't even see this option on the menu.. They gave us our drinks but even what we were given tasted odd and unlike the yummy normal soak ah hot chocolate, tasted off. Will never return based on this encounter.

A pleasant visit. Went there with the my girls on Friday night. It was really busy. I could see the staff were working flat out. We only ordered the hot chocolate drink, a mango smoothie and a flat white. I thought that we were gonna wait for a while to get our drinks cos' there were 5 customers before us. Surprisingly, our drinks came quick within minutes of each other. They tasted good as well. The hot chocolate was thick as it should be, the mango smoothie tasted great as well and the flat white was good enough to drink without adding any sugar (unlike a lot of cafes). Reading the previous reviews, I guessed we must have come on a good night whereby things were done quick and good. There was a very friendly male wait staff who was always smiling to customers and he asked us if everything was ok when he walked past our table. I was impressed. The only negative thing about that night was that the tables weren't cleared fast enough but then the number of customers walking in did contribute to the overall drop in efficiency of the wait staff. Like I mentioned, they were working hard that night and I will not hold anything against them. This store is definitely better than the one in Vic Park.
Mike
Yummo. I only ever had the thick hot chocolates, they are all super chocolatey. I been to this store and the Mandurah store, this store is way better. I am more of a fan of places that feel lived in, than modern basic feel.

Will continue to come here over and over again.
Alyce
The worst I've ever had. Poor hygiene, dirty plates cups and forks...
Fruit ready for the bin... Never freo S.C again!!!! Waste of money
Olympichero36
Terrible. Just had a milk hot chocolate. It was awful. Weak and luke warm. A few years ago the hot drinks were always rich and creamy. Absolutely appalling for just under $7 for a take away. The girl at the counter was rabbiting on to customers about how pedantic she is .when it comes to the chocolate Her barista skills leave a lot to be desired. A big mouth absent any skill. Not impressed.
Tanpal
Under staffed! slowwwww service. the ice tea melted as they forgot to serve it!!
Flickandandy2
Disappointed. Took the kids here after dinner, stood in line for 15 minutes, still had 4 people in front of us waiting to order. We decided not to bothers waiting. Very disappointing. Not enough staff for a busy Sat night. Would not bother again.
John
Not as good as the rest.. Churros under cooked in old oil. Chocolate truffle bomba was solid and cold in the centre, the outside was soggy and oily (oil wasn't hot enough). Tables are always dirty. Staff were unapologetic when we sought a refund for their inedible food.
Serena Ferreira
Churros were very under cooked, also ordered a chocolate volcano cake it was meant to be warm and have a gooey chocolateu centre, it came out cold and quite dry, not moist at all.. The tables were very sticky and felt dirty. Would not rush back here, subi and leedi san churros the way to go
Louise
Churros were undercooked and gluey. Looked at everyone else's dish and they all had white churos aswel. The places was disgusting. Asked them to clean the tables and it was still dirty. Leederville, subi and mount lawley much better. Freo dont know what golden churros look like. Will not go here again
SpaceAge
Average service, messy tables - room to improve

Good service and good food. I have been to the Sanchurro in the city (BAD SERVICE), the one in Leederville (good) and the one in Freo. I must say the Freo branch really stand above it all. I always end up coming back for more. The service is good, smiling people here and there. I love Sanchurro but not enough to ever go to the city branch (the level of bad service really makes the delicious food taste like garbage), so I am thankful that the Freo and Leederville branch is an option for me :)

Been here twice and loved it both times. First time We ordered the taste plate and almost couldn't finish it. Also had a choc hazelnut milkshake and it was so delicious. It was definitely full of flavour. The second time I had the choc strawberry sundae with an avellana hot chocolate. I must say I didn't like the hot chocolate because it was so thick, more of a custard consistency which I usually don't like custard. It tasted nice but I couldn't get over how thick it was. In the end I had a sore throat and someone I was with said they also had a sore throat after drinking one of them. The sundae was delicious and I can't wait to have another of those. I will definitely be going back.

What's happened to this place??!!. I have been a regular customer at several of the San Churros in Perth and have always had consistently great hot chocolate and usually the churros too. The Freo branch is usually great too, but tonight was extremely disappointing. For a Friday night it was surprisingly empty. The churros we ordered were pale and a bit undercooked. I ordered a couverture hot chocolate which is my favourite here, but it came out watery and a weird pale brown colour with some limp milky foam on top. It tasted like they'd forgotten to put the chocolate in it, so I sent it back to be re-made. Unfortunately the replacement hot chocolate was exactly the same! I wonder if they have changed the recipe for the hot chocolate because it tasted thin and watery and NOT chocolatey at all! Will stick with Subiaco or Northbridge, hopefully they are still good!
Cibo Semplice
Service far too slow. Waited at least 10mins for a take-away hot chocolate. Staff under pressure and didn't appear very competent working under pressure. Won't be back for a while.
Chris
Had a fantastic coffee here this morning, great location and friendly staff. I like it!
Rebecca Breglia
So yummy!. I love this place, wish there were more around Perth

MMM-Yeah. Huge fan!

I am an absolute chocolate lover, and San Churro's has met my needs and desires greatly.

I was yet to try anything from a San Churros cafe, although I had heard much about them...

You will NOT be sorry...

I ordered a classic Spanish hot chocolate, and it was brought to me in a beautifully crafted mug, mouth watering and thick as custard - I look very forward to my next visit.
Yum
A joke?. What is this cold, twisted, oily, tacky tasting dough? A churro? No, my friend, it is a tasteless joke. I'll just eat playdough and vegetable oil next time. And that chocolate sauce. PLEASE! For that price you should put some cacao in it and make it taste good, not like corn flour, sugar and a dash of coco.
Lisa G
AMAZING!! Great quality. Good service. Beautiful chocolate. Really delicious milkshakes. So much choice. Good value. Will be returning frequently.

Seems only one staff out of four per understand how to use to till. Hot chocolate was not for me.churros were nothing outstanding either.
Lilly Gilovitz
Like it. San churro's has always been a favourite place of mine to go with friends. we love getting the churros for two. Everything there that I have tried has been delicious. Although the hot chocolate is terribly sweet, almost unbearable.. And everything is a bit pricy.
Gabby
Huge Wait. I had been raving about San Churro to my mother for months and we decided to grab a drink there for lunch on sunday. I don't think I could've been more disappointed. We got it to-go and stood there waiting with my 8 month old son for 30 minutes as we saw everyone that got served after us and ordered to dine in get their food AND drinks ahead of us. After they handed us the shakes we left we were extremely disappointed with the quality of the drinks. I don't think I'd ever return to this one again and would talk badly about it to anyone considering to dine there.
Brittany
The food was yummy but clearly straight out of the package. Had a berry shake and was given an overflowing cup with no saucer by a young girl that appeared as if I was ruining her day. Was unable to even pick up the shake without it going all over the table. Toilets were dirty also
Westie85
Not a fan. I'm not really a "sweet" person - but I got a white hot chocolate - it wasn't very nice at all, it was really just like a hot milk drink.
My step son got a choc pudding thing - tasted like yogo...
Jen
Mmm chocolate!. Wow, love this place. Tried many things and never been disappointed... Besides the coffee, definitely not the best cup, but its really all about the chocolatey goodness anyway!
Hilary
Awesome as always but even better that we got double ups !!!

Terrible service and cleanliness. Went today at 1 pm, ordered 2 banana split sundae with 3 sticky spoon handles. Asking for the clean ones... and 'the clean ones' were still sticky. I think they don't change their gloves very often? That's why?

Before we left, we wanted to have some water, but water dispenser was empty.

It was quite hard to ask for help from the staffs. I did have to queue to get the 'clean teaspoon' ... and queue again to tell them the water dispenser was empty ( No we didn't queue for this one)...

No! We are not coming back.... your service was not practical and terrible cleanliness!
Fizzy
A little dissappointed.... So after all my friends raved about this place I decided to go to San Churros with very high expectations. The churros were really good but I was very dissappointed at the chocolate dips The quality of the chocolate tastes like melted cadbury and I was expecting it to taste like at least melted Lindt or better. The chocolates and drinks are nice but expensive. If you like something different the Spanish hot chocolate is really good, just note that it's really thick and rich.
Sadie
I'm a regular and the only complaint I have is the staff need to learn how to clean up once tables have left so new customers can sit down!
Endlessmastication
Always good. Never disappointed
Goodgirl
Nom nom nom. Yummy yummy food here! Guilty pleasure right here! The lemon lime tart has to be my favourite amongst all that rich chocolate. Just the freshness and lightness of the dish makes it so enjoyable. I quite liked the caramel latte I had there aswell. Definately a place to go for a special treat or occasion.
Best Steak Sandwich-Perth
What happened? Have they been taken over by new mgt? Ordered favourite-chocolate Sunday. Unfortunately very tasteless :(

Regular visitor. I love San Churro Fremantle, I used to visit monthly with friends for catch ups and thoroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere. However they're not always up to standards sometimes the food and service is amazing other times not so (especially the churros!), but I feel that's the way most food places are these days. But I would definitely recommend it for a place to take the other half for a romantic night or to get together with friends, and if you love all things sweet!
Lucie_strawberrylover
Disappointed. Went in to treat myself on a break from work with a voucher I received as a gift. When I attempted to pay with it I was told it wasn't valid because I didn't have the receipt as well as the voucher and I had to spend a minimum of $30 in order to use it anyway. Because I didn't have the receipt on me and had to pay cash the lady at the counter was far from friendly.
Luvie Duvie
I have had better churros. Theirs are definitely not very nice. I find it too dense. Many people like it tho. Did I always get a bad batch maybe? Nice sauces to go with them tho
Adakon
Overcooked Churros :(. Visited 7pm on Saturday night. We'd never tried the Churros but head good things so after a burger at Missy Moos thought we'd head into Freo to them them out. Place not too busy but waited ages for our Churros which when arrived were overcooked so pretty disappointed. Unfortunately not helping Freo's reputation for average food.

Chocolate heaven. If you love chocolate, you will need to visit San Churro. Went last week with some friends and we ordered the "Churros Fiesta"...came with 18 churros and 6mini dipping pots of chocolate (they even threw in an additional pot with a scoop of ice cream). Was perfect for our group as there were 6 of us and we could each choose our own dipping chocolate (choice of white, milk and dark chocolate). I highly recommend the dark chocolate! I also ordered their signature Spanish hot chocolate which was liquid gold, but possibly chocolate overload :) (if there is such a thing!). Service friendly and informative; good cafe style ambience.

LOVE. What's not to love about chocolate that is served quickly, in a clean place and often with a smile. Can't get much better than this i tell you

We went to San churro for the first time. Ordered our coffee. And our spanish donuts and chocolate . And went to pay. The girl had nO change so they said they would bring it over. That was ok and we were waiting fifteen minutes and I asked were our coffee was. And told I didn't order it. Well first thing I ordered was the coffee . The girl said back 2 lattes . Tell me who has cake and no coffee?????? And no sorry . Really not good enough service. Really poor to have staff on and no managers or at least people who know what they are doing. It was the first time at S.c. And I will neaver be back. What sort of chain are you.? At least at dome I get better service. But it's all like mcdonalds were u have 15 year old zit faces asking I you want fries with that. Good luck I'll just hang at cafes with professionals and people who are more experienced. Not happy
Sunny
Over Priced. I like it, but there are a few flaws.

it IS over priced, and for a dessert it almost costs the price of a main meal.

The hot chocolate that my friend ordered was like chocolate syrup. She said it was so thick that she can almost eat it.

I had the iced mocha which was amazing!!! The churros are always lovely, with the high quiality chocolate sauces. However... why is it so expensive for just flour, oil, and a bit of chocolate? ><

Service is good though.

Being from Spain myself, I have found this quite delightful, a lot like home and delicious. Try a Spanish hot chocolate it will blow your mind :)
Paul Richards
This is what I like best about the San Churro product. It's all honest ratios. Having experienced Swanston St in Melbourne last month it was 3/10 this Fre was way ahead 9/10.

Friday Night Complete. What a great little find. This place was amazing. We went late on a Friday night, and the five of us ordered a lot of different food you cant really find elsewhere in Perth / Fremantle. Get in and try this place. It's a bit hard to find tucked away... but it's worth the effort. Try things you wouldn't normally eat. This sort of place is what Perth needs. South Perth, Subiaco... Very nice. We'll be back for sure. Great atmosphere, great decor, great service, great friends. Go to this place after a big meal elsewhere, don't forget to save enough room for dessert at this place.
Pint-size
Chocolate heaven. Rich chocolate taste and churros were light and fluffy! great little dessert place ; however, a little bit pricey for the amount you get.
PerthMunch
For kids, its heaven.. What can you say to chocolate, dark, milk, white and caramel as 'sauces' dipped in with those long sticks of churros. The kids loved it, and the range of coffees were good, although very thick to me. I'd prefer to go with Theo's but was in the neighbourhood here, and used the voucher discount. Can't complain, but can't rave either.
Special K
On a Sunday arvo the store was in chaos!! People everywhere, dirty plates and cups on tables through the restaurant and hot chocs were coming out in paper cups (presumably because all their cups were dirty). However although the churros were a little over crispy, it was all still delicious!
Brad
Dissapointed. Came here for a coffee with family. Coffee took a while (and it wasn't that busy!) and the coffees were very average.
FoodLover
Poor Service. I came here on a Sunday night and it was packed. I stood in line for 30 minutes waiting to be served and when I was one person from the front we were advised that they were not accepting any further orders. This was about 30 minutes prior to closing and I would have thought that they could have given us advance given that the line was so long and the clearly weren't able to serve us all.

When I raised this issue with the waitor, his response was along the lines of 'well we have to close and you should have gotten here earlier'. I won't be returning.

Tasty churros!!!!!!!!. Churros are a tasty pastry made from being cooked in hot oil and are great with melted chocolate or cinnamon. it is kid frendly because they have a kids menu i recommend the bubbacino and chocolate and churros. i give it 10 out of 10.
Kim Pedler
Great. Called in to get some take away dessert and the service was great even though they were very busy on a saturday evening. Beautifully presented and bagged to carry home. Have had dine in before here too and that was great as well. The service is definitely more friendly then Leederville.
Chicken Little
Out of all the San Churro outlets in WA so far, this one has the best service. I've found it difficult to like the other outlets as much as I do this one.
FoodieMama
Heaven!. This place is absolute heaven! I have to say though, I actually prefered the churros at Leedy.
Tara Spencer
Too much hype. I am a huge chocoholic and this place is just too much. The hot chocolates are literally just melted chocolate - it is sickening. Everything I have eaten here has given me a headache. The cakes are god-awful. The only thing I would recommend is the chocolate tapas.
DiningPerth
Spanish hot chocolate...Are you open now?. All I can say is "Spanish Hot Chocolate with Chilli" and Churros with chocolate...heaven... a regular for me.... my family.... my friends.... I love it!
Spoonmaster
You'll never eat Dessert in a Freo Restaurant again!. A great alternative to the regular coffee after a meal or the average restaurant desserts generally served up.
This place is chocolate heaven, be prepared to feel rather sick afterwards but still want to go back for seconds the next day!
Foodie
I have mixed feelings about San Churros in Fremantle. On 1 hand the was served to us Luke warm & lacked any depth in taste. On the other hand... When we FINALLY received our Chocolate Tapas for 2, we were delighted at the variety it offered & the taste was worth the wait.

Heaven is here!. I couldnt believe it when I first walked pass the shop! I thought I was in heaven.. went in and I cant believe how yummy everything is.. everytime we go to Freo for dinner/ lunch I always make room for a churro or two.. yummmmo!

If you thought you liked chocolate, fall in love all over again. Don't bring the kids, they don't deserve it!

Isn't it called SAN Churro?

Great Desert Dining Experience. Try the tasting plate for 2. Offerred in milk, dark or white chocolate dipping options.

Traditional hot chocolate is wonderful.

Great treat venue for kids (baby hot choclates are really good) and they love the churro's.

I went out for a churro and milkshake fix at the end of my prac. I had my usual white chocolate dipping sauce with my churros and as we were having a warm summers day I chose to try their hazelnut milkshake which was delicious!
