Great ambience to be at with your family and loved ones. Their ice cream is top notch and price reasonable too. Staff are friendly and service quick. There are other ice cream parlours in Fremantle but I think this is the best. Big thumbs up!

Went in on labour day public holiday, hottest day by far and the young man who served my fiance and myself was bubbly and quick even though he was on his own and busy. Definitely a new fav for a cool treat

Rude and unprofessional staff. Anytime I asked to try an ice-cream the guy pulled faces as if I am bothering him!!! The gelato itself: NOT GOOD at all, certainly overpriced. There are so many ice-cream shops in Fremantle choose a different one.

The owner of this store is stingy, extremely unprofessional and emotionally unstable. He hires unstable staff with an attitude problem. God knows how the ice cream is prepared! Do yourself a favour and choose another ice cream parlour, there are plenty of them in Fremantle. After all the ice cream here is just average!

$7.90 Great value for 3 scoops 😁 yummy “classic” flavours! We really enjoyed the mango, pistachio and bacio (chocolate and hazelnut) all three had great flavour and wasn’t too sweet. I’m glad we went I to this store although there were no customers.

Been there numerous times, brought along family members and friends visiting from overseas and even if the service was never the best we would always come back for the gelato. I believe in supporting small local businesses so even when a new ice-cream franchise opened up around the corner we still chose to come back to Dolce Vita. Well I guess today was the last time... My husband ordered 2 scoops in a cup, as he always does. The young boy behind the counter handed over a cup that from the side looked empty. When we pointed out twice that he was a bit stingy on the size of the scoops he just ignored our comment and proceeded with the rest of our order. My husband told the boy he was not happy and the boy still didn't seem to care so we decided to cancel the order and walked out. Too bad. I don't think we'll be back any time soon.

Been here a few times and it's always been good ! 🍦 I had the bounty and salted caramel in a cone ($6.50), which was a generous size. Flavours were 👌🏻 Reliable and would come back 👏🏻

After a fabulous dinner at Holy Smokes, Some friends and I decided to treat ourselves to some ice cream. We decided to skip the usual cold rock and try somewhere else. I am a creature of habit and my go to Ice Cream flavour is Mint Choc Chip. Upon arrival the first thing I notice is that they are OUT of Mint Choc Chip! NOO How can this be? Damn... I will have to find another flavour.... We decided to sample the goods, I tried one & so did my other friend... Nope that ice cream flavour wasnt right... lets try something else... Sorry only one sample per person.. Ummm ok.... A Third friend whom had not sampled the goods asked to try something was then refused a sample.... Wait what? I'm sorry i didnt realise we were asking for you to murder your first born? After that we walked out... Moral of the Story is stick to what you know - Cold Rock here i come!

After having toured Freo, we were graving some gelato and decided to drop in here. There was a line, with one girl serving who was intently chatting in German while we all waited. After sometime they finished their conversation and then she started serving everyone else. We were next, but then another group walked in and she served them ignoring us. We must have been invisible and I was close to walking out. Apart from the lack of service the gelato were ok, I had the pistachio which was nice and creamy and good consistency. I also had the lemon gelato and the flavours were good, but it was a little lumpy. Based on poor service we are not coming back here.

The strawberry cheesecake ice cream here is something I now crave! It is just so good!!!!!!!! I strongly recommend trying it pronto!

Bad way to end a great day in Freo. Customer service here is almost non existent. The women behind the counter was having either an extremely bad day or just really hates her job and hates everyone around her. Not even a smile or any eye contact after countless attempts to brighten her day. I wont be coming back here again.

I have been here a couple of times to treat myself. Have to admit, their gelato isn't cheap. My favourite flavours are pistachio and hazelnut. Recently I went and tried the oreo icecream. It was extremely sweet and didn't have any oreo in it! It was just cookies and cream icecream. I had the hazelnut icecream on my recent visit last week and it tasted more like coffee. Probably not likely to go again.

Extremely rude staff who very condescendingly lay down the 'RULES' [sic] of only one taste per person. Well we voted with our feet and went down the road to Ben and Jerrys who were welcoming and appreciative of our business and where after a couple of tastes I made up my mind, enjoyed a delicious treat and wholeheartedly decided to go back there next time. Very bad form DV doing that to a Freo local who are your bread and butter. Obviously very poor business skills.

Loved the varieties of flavours, had Timtam, Haselnut, pistachio, cheesecake and they were all delicious! Service was pretty good. Would love to try their waffles next time.

Great Icecream, amazing flavours. I worked in Fremantle for 2 years and I took my now fiancé to Dolce Vita on many occasions. I have never had reason to fault the service or the politeness of the serving staff. The variety is amazing and the flavours will blow your mind.<br/><br/>Freo Delight is the best by far<br/><br/>Unless its changed a lot I have nothing but the highest praise for this place <br/><br/>A+++++++++++++++++++++++

There is a large assortment of gelatos and sorbets at Dolce Vita and because of this, and my natural indecisiveness, I sampled quite a few. Most of them had quite overwhelming flavours such as the one I ended up getting, the passionfruit sorbet, but this is possibly just personal preference.<br/>The service here was average at best. The lady serving me seemed completely disinterested and irritated, and provided such a negative atmosphere. Might try this place again in the future and hopefully by then the customer service will have improved.

This place is an entire disappointment.I can't believe and understand how this place can be in business with ice cream. i needed drink something to get the tasteless ice cream out of my mouth.Pay $6.50 for a large cup that is not large at all and with a staff with not a smile on their face even by pay them.Please guys I'm Italian and i understand about ice cream and sorry you are very far from it.Buy Cools one would be a better choice that your one.What is keeping you open is fortune......Take or lived!

Ice Cream!. Whenever I'm in Freo I always make sure I stop here, best ice cream around Perth! And it certainly is a hot spot in summer for the tourists and locals. Keep up the good work guys.

Dolce Vita! It my life, do wot err I want to do. The guy has a European accent so you know it's authentic. People in Europe invented ice-cream after Antarctica was settled in the late 1500's. I had the snickers/kinder double scoop cone combo... But I got it all over my mo' . I'll upload a snap of it as proof

Dessert. We found the staff extraodinarily rude (both of them!) and our serving of icecream in the waffle was golf ball sized. We thought the icecream was fairly average.

Terrible service. Might be alright if you appear Caucasian, but prepare to be completely ignored if you are of another ethnicity. Stood in line with three people in front of me for a good 7 minutes or so until it was my turn but service was given to three other couples who came behind me,barely waiting for a minute to be served. When I made eye contact with the staff member, he rudely turned away and said "hang on" to serve a little boy who just walked up to the counter. I walked away in disgust.<br/><br/>I don't see any other reason for this lack in common courtesy. Unjustified discrimination. Left me wondering if other tourists had been treated the same way. An utter embarrassment to Freo.
