Review Vin And Oli - Fremantle

Paul W
Fantastic food, we shared the Quesadilla, 5 Cheese Gnocchi and Potatas Bravas. All were delicious, nice tap beers as well. Our server was Shonda, she was lovely, very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this place

Can honestly say this was the worst experience I’ve ever had - for not a very busy restaurant, we came in, wasn’t greeted and had to clear our table to sit down. We had to wait a while to be served, and then it took 45 minutes for our cocktails to arrive and it was practically 2 sips worth. For $18 each, we asked if this wasn’t meant to be a bit bigger and were quite bluntly dismissed to say it’s meant to be like that and that it was strong alcohol. My friend said she had the same cocktail here a while ago and it was definitely bigger and again was dismissed. Can say after sitting there on an empty stomach and first drink of the evening, it definitely wasn’t strong alcohol. We ordered 3 tapas style dishes, waited over an hour and didn’t have anyone check in the meantime to see if we were ok, or to update on the delay considering other tables had been served food after us. Eventually went up to ask how long our food was going to be and was told it would be there soon. The potato bravas came out not long after, thrown in a bowl, with a squirt of sauce, nothing like the picture on instagram. After a few minutes, had to go back up and ask for plates/cutlery and napkins. Another 10 minutes passed and we were brought another dish, where the chicken was completely pink and raw inside. At this point I got up to show the server and her response was it’s meant to be a bit pink. It wasn’t a bit pink, it was raw, so I asked for a refund. We weren’t even offered a full refund for the horrendous service, and I had to ask for her to refund the potatoes too as we didn’t eat them, and they weren’t served correctly. You could see the girl serving was very frustrated having to serve, clear, run food, make drinks etc all by herself on a Saturday night. So really it wasn’t all her fault, but we honestly couldn’t believe how awful the experience was.

First time here for their bottomless brunch. 89 dollars per person later, I'd say it probably wasn't worth it. The fish tacos and the sweet potato fries were the only things I actually enjoyed on the tower. Chicken wings were overfried and the baos were pretty empty. The staff were great though!
Emma Anderton
We saw your brunch towers on Man Vs Food Perth Facebook page and we HAD to try your food, so we booked a mum's night out. Did not disappoint! The cauliflower buffalo wings were amazing <3 Will be back!

Nice Tapas bar along the cappuccino strip!!!! Great for the girls night or day out.. having a few cocktails and some tapas!!
Amy Leach
Nice atmosphere! Unfortunately my experience wasn't all that welcoming. I had ordered pulled pork Bao buns and the wait stuff had put through chicken. Then ordered the death wings which was the first thing I ordered but they had never put that through. I had to tell the chef myself that I had ordered them. This was only possible because he was running dishes out to people himself. I have never gone to any bar or resturaunt where the wait staff don't actually wait. The bell will ring and those three women would be just standing there talking. Absolutely disgusting manners from them. Even after I had finished my meal, one of the ladies just came up and grabbed my plate and walked away, no asking how my dinner was or if I was finished with my meal. The chef was lovely and I thank him to this day for the exceptional service he provided.

My friends and I were looking forward to a nice evening with some tapas at vins tapas. As soon as we walked in we were not made to feel welcome by the waitress. We got a table and were warned by the people next to us that they had been waiting an hour for a plate of chicken wings. When we went up to order we payed with cash and the waitress took our money and then said I don’t have enough change so only gave half of it back to us and said I’ll give you a free drink, which we never ended up getting. It took 20 minutes for our drinks to come to the table and when they did arrive they weren’t what we ordered. We then waited over an hour for our platters to come out (only 2 came out first and they were both stone cold). The chicken wings came out raw and so did another tables (who took them back to complain as well). We chose to move to the table next to us because it was freezing near the door. The waitress then bought out the rest of our order and put it on our old table which was right next to where we were sitting !! Over all very disappointed with our evening which was a shame because we were looking forward to going there. We left hungry and ripped off.

Unfortunately, nothing about our night was positive. From the moment we walked in, expecting to have a booking, the staff weren't aware of it and asked if we wanted to sit outside (after it had been raining all day). Finally seated (inside), the waitress gave us a piece of paper with a list of what was no longer available off the menu. Which included about 10 different food options. Then the order that came out was wrong; received a glass of wine instead of a bottle, was told there was 3 bao's per serving and only received 2 and then had to order more. Then more of what we ordered wasn't available during the night, so another item on the list. Next we didn't receive one item which the chef knew nothing about but was on our bill, so we told them to forget it. We only realised it wasn't coming as the chef seemed to be knocking off for the night. The bottle of water we received was all chipped around the edge, making it undrinkable. Our bill went to another table and was wrong anyway. I did give my feedback on the night, and felt really bad doing so, but I had no choice. It was a very unpleasant experience all round. Unfortunately, will not be going back again.

HATES AMERICANS, STAY AWAY!!!
Most unfriendly place I visited in Australia. I was told I was not only not welcome but had to leave because I support my president.
Seriously this is run by a fascist pig.

Cozy little tapas bar ,with great atmosphere .Loved the white wine sangria , food was yummy too , special little touch , chef brought food from the kitchen straight to our table.Very friendly staff ,music they play compliments the ambience. Highly recommended!
Paul Fiddes
The best tiger prawn pasta of my life and seafood pasta is my all time restaurant favourite! My wife ordered Pork Belly and it was also delicious. The atmosphere is low key and interesting watching life in Fremantle pass you by as you dine. I highly recommend it!
Helen
Haven’t visited this place for over a year but couldn’t not visit after I saw their backboard advertising vegan chicken wings! These turned out to be crispy deep fried pieces of cauliflower and were delicious. We went for the chilli version but they also do a bbq sauce option. Sangria and an excellent $11 glass of cab sav went perfectly with the food. Everything was so good we ended up coming back the next day for another plate of ‘wings’.
Sarah Howe
Decent wine list and cocktails too. Cosy place. Never had breakfast or been during the day. The dinner menu is good. The portions are on the smaller side though. But food is very good.
Sandhya1814
Pretty good cosy place in freo. Customer service was fantastic. Decent wine list and food selection. Worth a visit with friends or jus a romantic afternoon date 😁

I visit this place all the time with a few friends, or for a glass wine and some snacks while I study. Chill music, nice location on the cappuccino strip in Freo, servers are always really friendly and accommodating. One of my favorites!

Quickly becoming one of my favorite places on the cappuccino strip, with its chilled atmosphere & friendly staff, the food is always really fresh & tasty & there's an excellent choice of wines. Serving late into the night it's a perfect spot to watch the world go by whilst sipping on a glass of wine or a cocktail or ......2! Definitely will be back.
Millie Gorringe
The place to chill on a Sunday and watch the world go by. Good atmosphere and chilled vibes. What more could you want? Glass of wine and nibbles to top off a weekend.

Groovy little place, love it! Decent prices, wonderful staff, sweet atmosphere. Plus, $5 glasses of wine on a Monday- winning! Get yo butts down there ✌️

The sangria was extremely good and all the food we tried was terrific. The staff was very accommodating and friendly, recommended good items. Great location right on the street. Looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommend!

I had a great last night with great food and wine. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff so helpful. Definitely worth the visit and I'll be coming in more often from now on!
Luca Lissa
I really enjoyed the evening with good wines and stunning food. Staff was friendly and skilled in wine and drinks. With the view of centre of Fremantle the experience was really nice and definitely not common.

Being a Freoite I drop in here every now and again as it's pretty much the only late night bar in Freo. A couple of months ago there was a change in chef and the change is very noticeable. Not only do they have a lovely ambience and a great range of drinks now they have fabulous food too.
Tracey Tyler
Visited Vin & Oli with a friend and had a wonderful evening thanks to a combination of the fab food, great wine and spot on service. We decided to share six small dishes, which combined, proved to be a taste sensation. The wine list was diverse and we decided to go with the beautiful Marchand & Burch Chardonnay which was simply delightful. The service was faultless and friendly all evening and I look forward to a return visit. Will definitely recommend this destination to my friends.
Chelseaannecrane
Such a great atmosphere and the servers were lovely... something I've been missing in Freo for so long. Great wine list with no bollocks... Love it and will definitely be back
Rob
Always have an amazing time at Vin and Oli. The staff are fabulous and welcoming. Great wine list and lovely tapas. Can't wait to visit again very soon
Ashton
Fried chicken and natural West. Australian white wine, a pair impossible not to love! Very welcoming staff, feels like home every time you walk through the doors.
Anita
No idea why the rating is so low on this website! Can't recommend having dinner and this place enough, it combines great service, with yummy affordable food as well as an fun location/atmosphere.
Maria
absolutely love this place. extremely affordable and delicious food.
it is the only place to get food after 10pm in fremantle. Last time I was there I got the calamari at 2am. Not to shabby.... service is exceptional and the staff are dreammmmy
Heemag
Terrible food, service was quick, wine was ok.

We decided to have a late lunch (tapas style), and always a sucker for arancini balls we ordered then, I wish we didn't though, they were devoid of flavor and were gluggy, we couldn't finish them. We did the right thing and communicated our disappointment to the waitstaff.

We also ordered the bruschetta, it was a deconstructed mess on some kind of stale flat pizza like bread.
Used a Groupon - tried to make a booking, but phone message said to text, and the text went unanswered. Arrived at 1pm (advertised opening time) and it was still closed, workers inside seemed surprised to have customers show up.

Returned a bit later, handed over Groupon for bottle of wine and a meat/cheese platter and waited... and waited. 30 mins went by, returned to the counter and waitress said "are you ready to order?". Told her we had already ordered. Another 15 minutes went past until we finally got the food (a small platter with a decent amount of cheese, but only about a tiny amount of ham, two tiny pieces of Turkish bread and about six crackers).

Other tables that ordered before us did not receive their orders either.

Surprising place ! I am not used to give some good mark to a place ( French default) but this time I do an exception. Between the Wednesday evening with live music ( an amazing guy from Croatia) and the weekend where I was surprised…. the kitchen and the bar are still open after midnight this night I was still having cocktails and chicken at 2.00am. I have impression to be back in my small paris , redoing the ‘’world’’ with my friends. I highly recommend you this place !!!!

Had a quick lunch here.. bruschetta and (divine) baked mushrooms, washed down with some ok wine.. all delish👍😃perfect for a lite lunch for 2
I really wanted to like this place, but I was let down. Firstly, the service was quite awful. We ordered two dishes and intended to order more, but the waitress disappeared before we had finished ordering. Probably a good thing, because the seafood platter was dismal. Edible, but hardly a "platter", more an incongruous smattering of calamari, prawns and sardines. We also had the pork sliders, which were a saving grace! The wine selection was mostly by the bottle. The waitress rattled off a generic list of wines available by the glass (Pinot, Shiraz etc without any extra information). For a place that calls itself a wine bar, this was also disappointing. I opted for the Pinot noir and it was totally drinkable, but I have literally no idea what it was called. For two dishes and two glasses of wine, the total was $77. I definitely expect a lot more for this price.

Had the most amazing cheesecake I have ever had in my life here last night! No exaggeration. Friendly staff and nice quiet atmosphere to have a few drinks and share plates.
James Hutton
My girlfriend and I came here last Friday night. The atmosphere at this place has always attracted us, and this night was no different. We had the pork belly, and the southern chicken with waffles and coleslaw, which was delicious, albeit an odd combination. The staff were extremely friendly and got us hooked on their espresso martinis, which made for a very fun night! To end the night we each had the chocolate mousse which was quite rich, so probably a bit ambitious! All in all a really fun night, we will definitely be back again.
Bree
Unfortunately I have no nice words to say about Vin and Oli. The food was awful. Making a booking is impossible - they don't answer their website enquiries and never answer their phone. Very disappointing.
Sonya
I REALLY want to like Vin and Oli!! We have been here four times, albeit on vouchers, and have wanted to support this local venue. It has a great atmosphere - intimate but welcoming and unpretentious fit out on the cappuccino strip.
A good wine list and friendly (if not always attentive) staff. But the food... sadly always underwhelms. Tonight we had the chicken 'special', which was undercooked. The cheese platter was missing half its ingredients and the seafood platter looked like it was mostly out of a tin, served with stale bread. If we were paying full price (and it's not inexpensive) we'd be very disappointed in what we got.
Please Vin and Oli, up the food standards and we'll be back!!
I do really like this groovy little wine bar in Freo.
It has a really nice feel to it. The paella is really good. The wine selection is top notch. The food is always delicious. Definitely recommend.

Absolutely the worst dining experience I have ever had.
I've lived in Perth/Fremantle my whole life, and thought I might find yet another local gem (like Little Creatures or the AMAZING Suburban Table).
When a VERY simple drink order took 20 minutes to arrive (with no-one ahead of us), we began to worry.
We asked about the progress of our drinks and were met with a frankly rude "okay", making it plainly obvious they had forgotten about our order.
The waitress/manager had no idea how to make the mai tais we ordered, even though the ingredients were listed on the board, and they took another 10 minutes to arrive. And they sucked.
By that time we had finished our very disappointing chorizo and were halfway through our awful cheese balls.
Half an hour later our "spicey chicken basket" arrived. 2 drumsticks, 2 wings, raw in the middle, burnt on the outside, served on a plate, not in a basket (not a major point, but really?) with a commercially made chilli sauce.
KFC would have been a step up, and cheaper to boot.
Seriously, in this day and age, what restaurant can afford to have not only shoddy service (I'm looking at you, blonde waitress and botox manager) as well as seriously terrible food.

If you go to this place twice, you're an idiot.

Rating? Z---

Stumbled upon this gem wandering along the cappuccino strip. Unlike anything else in Fremantle, and one of the best wine lists in Perth! Was perfect for an afternoon outing!

We dined here last night. The staff were friendly and the decor was nice (and great location) but unfortunately we didn't have a good experience with the food/drink. I ordered a Bloody Mary, which contained so much pepper I think most would have found it undrinkable. I watered it down a lot and drank it (I didn't want to waste $18). We ordered 4 tapas. The eggplant and olive bruschetta was just toast thins with eggplant from a jar on top. There wasn't one single olive in the dish, but so so so much oil. The goats cheese and prosciutto profiteroles were a different choice. I liked how they looked like a dessert on the plate- quirky- but sadly they were not tasty. Full of cream, but zero prosciutto (unless it was blended into the cream, in which case I couldn't see or taste it). The beef sliders were ok. Again, there was a lot of oil but the beef patties were homemade and tasty enough. The saving grace was the chorizo. It's not hard to make, but it was delicious and there was lots of it! Overall 1 great dish; 1 ok dish; 2 terrible dishes; and one terrible drink. I'd like to add that I didn't complain which- in all fairness- maybe I should have in order to have the restaurant rectify things. I just feel uncomfortable about complaining and feel that customers shouldn't have to.

We dropped in to Vin + Oli one Sunday for lunch. It is located in South Terrace at the corner of an arcade and it was enjoyable watching and hearing the passing parade and the buskers. We had a mixed entrée and then chose the paella. The servings were a bit on the small side and there wasn't much effort put into the presentation. It wasn't all that busy when we went, maybe the "vibe" had to build up, but there is too much choice in Freo for us to be hurrying back to Vin + Oli.

I am an spanish food lover and this place is far from a tapas place, really disappointed with the food, too expensive for such a poor quality . I tried to finish my meal with a good coffee but not even that. I really don t suggest this place .Rude owner but friendly waitress.
Mikepitt00
My first time here I was mildly intoxicated but Vin & Olis was great, open late and everything tasted amazing! My second time was on a private date with myself where I enjoyed a delicious, affordable meal and some pino vino, people watched the people on main street and chatting to the staff whilst reclining in some funky chairs. It was a perfect date in my opinion and in one of the coolest tappas bars I've seen outside of Spain.
Lucy Davies
This place is different to the rest of the offerings on the strip with unique original bus seats giving a funky ambience and allowing people watching through the full length Windows whilst enjoying in our case beef cheeks and paella brimming with seafood
The Bremerton Malbec an Australian wine was an enjoyable addition to our meal
Highly recommended we ll def be back
Traveler8373
$22 for seafood paella with 2 mussels, 2 prawns & some squid rings. Rice was under cooked, mussels were not fresh & very fishy. Prawns were fresh. Old bus seats were dusty and scratchy. Extensive bar. Friendly German waitress.
Alessandro Gilmour Marciano
One of the best bar of fremantle, the meals are really tasty and wines are awsome. The service is excellent to and i found the best Espresso Martini of fremantle
Dense
Having fun at vin & oli....I love the cocktails and the spanish tapas. Feels almost being back in Barcelona. If you come by choose the table at the window and enjoy the busy freo life.
Joedory
Myself and a friend decided to head here for a bite to eat the other day, noticing its quirkiness from outside; and if you have read any other reviews, you may have read about the old school bus seats used as seating? A for effort! That's very clever and rings a bell to anybody around my age and makes for a different first impression and a conversation starter :) The food? Flavoursome, nice kick to the oil used on the ciabatta with the sundried tomatoes. The tomato relish - fresh and not salty which was great! The Little balls of sweetness, a little dry on the inside, also not enough salad for my tasting...there was just enough to share for a nibble, nothing big, reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Although I noticed we were the only ones there over a whole hour. Might be due to the $15 glasses of wine and $12 stubby of beer. Cute, nice experience. But probably won't return for a while. I will though, finish with saying the new interior is gorgeous. Nice fix up guys :)
This new tapas bar on the capo strip in freo is fabulous
Wine list is extensive and all the wines by the glass were priced at $11 except one outstanding world class orange wine that was excellently priced at $15 it was the best wine i have ever had the opportunity to drink by the glass
The staff are so friendly i was dining by myself and received plenty of attention
The food is good portion size and i enjoyed the pork belly and panacotta
i highly recommend it
Olivia Dashwood
Absolutely amazing! Ignore the fact that there aren't that many reviews yet because it's new, it's fantastic, and you will not regret it!!

We had the stuffed capsicum, prawns, calamari with the Freo sunset cocktail. Everything was delicious, cooked to perfection, nothing was over seasons and the portion sizes were really good. Normally I hate tapas because the portion sizes are ridiculously small but Vin & Oil have the balance perfect! (The calamari had 12 calamari rings! That's seriously decent for tapas). The cocktail is my new favourite; it's light, fresh and perfect for summer.

And the service was great; the woman there was attentive, she knew all the food and cocktails off the top of her head and could make recommendations and comment on the pairing of the food with the drink. And damn she makes a good cocktail!

I will most definitely be back!

This place is a rip-off:

FOOD: The Paella was so small my 5 year old ate the mains and was a little hungry after. So what chance does an adult have. Put it this way when I got home I had eggs on toast to fill up. Pathetic sizes....it's embarrassing!!

SERVICE: Friendly but seriously slow.

AMBIANCE: The place has a nice feel about it.

COST: A joke. Food and wine is a complete rip-off. We went on a Scoopon voucher and it was still really expensive for what you got. Wine is like $15 a glass.

OVERALL: Never ever again
Julian Hill
I love this place the ambiance is chilled and the music always a pleasure
The beef cheeks was wholesome and still having room for desert we ordered
panacotta with expresso martinis
The wait girl told me all food is made fresh on the premises the chef is a credit to them
we ll be back
Teesha
The interior and atmosphere of this place is super lovely, the service wasn't bad either. However, $15 for one glass of wine was pretty steep.
Love Eating Out
Undecided - we were a little hesitant after reading the reviews, but we went with an open mind.
The decor and atmosphere was very nice and the staff were very friendly.
We had a groupon and ordered beef cheeks as a main. It was tasty but cold so I needed to ask for it to be warmed. The crispy kale was a nice surprise. My husband ordered the paella which was so so - a little bland and the prawns were a bit floury and the squid was tough. Both mains were rather small.
We ordered panna cotta for dessert which was creamy and delicious. The mud cake was ok. .... still undecided on the whole experience.
Sam
The food was overpriced for the portion sizes and extremely bland. I had stuffed peppers which had no flavour. Left hungry and feeling ripped off!
Darlene
$16 for a Gin & Tonic, are you serious?!?!?!?!?! In a small glass with loads of ice... I was shocked! Cute little bar but the prices are ridiculous!!! How do they survive? Sorry Vin & Oli, I'll walk past you next time...
Marian Morley
We are locals in Fremantle & really enjoy dining out. We have been to the vin & Oli several times now and this was by far the most disappointing! the food is over priced for the quantity & quality and we would not recommend anyone go there.
Jane Crier
Went for lunch today with Groupon voucher. Very glad didnt have to pay full price. Four prawns with four pieces of spinach for $16 anyone? Another overpriced eatery in freo on the cafe strip, will i ever learn! Wine prices starting from $45 a bottle? Even had to get my own clean plate, knife and fork for my tasteless overcooked main. Terrible
Steve Tate
Great Tapas bar in the heart of Freo. Used a Groupon voucher and enjoyed the food and service. Recommended for casual tasty dining with a bit of imagination
Ada Pearson
Horrified, disbelief and highly dissatisfied! For my rating, I wouldn't even give a single star.

Let's start of with how I even got here. I was planning on a night out with my boy friend in Fremantle. So we decided to pick a groupon deal, just for the heck of it and try something new. A place where we haven't been before. Well we ended up on Vino and Oli.

First off we start off with a house wine. Nothing too special about. But hey that's not really what we were after anyways. Food... Now the mains were absolute horrendous. We got two mains that were the size of entrees. I don't even want to know, what the entrees would looks like if I had ordered any.

Pork belly: 4-5 mini piece of pork. Display was nice but if you want to eat just LARD then go get this dish. I'm aware pork belly has fat but please explain to me how the whole dish was just lard. I've had other pork belly dishes before and never have I been served with a slab of lard. I wouldn't be paying 26 dollars for a heart attack.

8 hour beef braise cheeks :
8 hours of a slow cook meal? Doesn't sound very convincing to me, when the dish came out cold. Once we told the manger, she took it in and instead of replacing it all , she did was heat the dish up. Wow talk about service ?! 26 dollars worth. I don't think so.

Dessert:
Date pudding was maybe one of the better food item. They did pair it nicely with some vanilla ice cream.

Tiramisu cake was nothing great either. It was just plain. Wouldn't be paying 13 dollars for something plain Jane.

The manger that we talked to have gave us complementary fries. All I have to say is that Maccas fries were better than those soggy one. What a piece of art ?!

Please do go there if you want a plate of lard and terrible service. I wouldn't advise any one to get the groupon. Time and money wasted....

A night out in Freo... I expect the quality of the food and service to top notch. Fremantle is a place with culture. Having restaurants like this is such waste bring the standards down.
Rosemarie Brinkhuizen
4 of us dined last night with a Groupon voucher, which was excellent value! We ordered extra, of course, starting with crispy squid, potatoes and chorizo for starters; all yummy and good serves with great accompaniments. Then for mains we had the pork, slow cooked beef cheeks and the paella - ALL FANTASTIC. Then came dessert and again we just couldn't believe how wonderful this quaint little restaurant is. We're so glad we came and will definitely be returning very soon. The Restaurant is decorated in an eclectic style using old bus seats and benches with dimmed lighting and has a really friendly upbeat feeling. The service was attentive and enthusiastic. My only complaint, if you could find one, was that we felt a bit rushed and would have liked a bit more time between courses to really savour the atmosphere.
Simone McKenna
So nice to sit up at the high benches (remade from old bus seats!) and overlook the bustling main road of Fremantle. With such as extensive and exclusive wine list, there is bound to be the perfect wine to suit even the most fussiest palate! Prices are fairly standard. Although the venue is fairly small, the bar is large and filled to the brim. A wonderful place to wind down after a busy working week or spend a lazy Sunday afternoon.
James
Traumatic. Thats the best one word to describe my family's experience with this place. Will never eat here again. Average food. Horrible service. Greedy people.

This the kind of bar you dream of coming across – super wine list; great atmosphere; friendly, engaging workers; interesting and appealing food choices; and in the heart of Fremantle. On a sunny autumn day we stumbled across it after lunching elsewhere and ducked in to have a look – and so glad we did. On South Terrace, taking the place of what I recall was a coffee shop, this small bar, open for about three months, is carving itself quite a reputation. It is not a large space, but has been decorated in eclectic style – along one wall the seating consists of old Transperth bus seats, elsewhere tables, chairs, high benches and stools. Seating on the footpath out front completes the picture. A large wine rack on one side holds an excellent selection of wine. The list is not overly large but contains some brilliant wines, and a good cross section of varieties, regions and countries. Clearly thoughtful consideration has gone into its construction and shows a wonderful commitment to quality. Many of the wines available (quite a few of which are produced organically) are little seen on lists around town – La Violetta from the Great Southern, which turns out stunning wines, is prominent – Das Sakrileg Riesling, YeYe Blanc and U among the whites, their Almirante y Obispo among the reds – Castelli also feature – for example, their tempranillo and viognier – and other excellent labels are highlighted – Yelland and Papps, Hither and Yon, Shobbrook, Marchand and Burch, Higher Plane, Paul Nelson and Si Vintners. We were particularly taken by two sections of the list – one of orange wines – something rarely seen – in fact the only other orange list of such quality noted recently was at Temporada in Canberra – more than a dozen wines are listed with Brash Higgins, Radikon, Wines by KT and Zidarich among them; the other section was of Petillant wines – mildly sparking and included the outstanding La Violetta Spunk Nat – a rosé style sparkli

I LOVE THIS PLACE. The new menu has plenty of fresh vegetarian options alongside tasty meat dishes The late night service of drinks is a rare diamond My favourite new hangout in Freo Thanks to the friendly team at Vin & Oli for making my visit awesome !

Fremantle's place to be. Wow this was an unexpected Gem. What a fabulous restaurant. I haven't had such good service, a vast selection of quality wines coupled with the most delicious food in a long time.
The atmosphere is laid back and relaxed. We stayed on till late in the evening which is hard to do at most Fremantle venues, with out chairs being stacked around you....The late night music, lighting and people were all a real treat, and added so much to our experience that night . Well done guys and thank you

Fab little place on the strip. We were strolling by and just walked in. Great atmosphere and wine list but we only ordered a Margaret River red which was great for the price. We had the wild mushroom pate to share for starters and I had the lamb and snow pea salad. My husband ordered the pork belly and asked for it extra crispy skin and he loved it. Our waiter recommended he have the apple cider with the pork which he did but also had the red. We didn't stay long as we were going to a movie afterward but will def go back again.

Great place!. Second time i've been here and had such a great night both times. Staff were really friendly and food was awesome, new menu from last time, great variety of food. Big choice of wines. Nice to see a place like this thats open late in freo!! I'll definitely be going back :)

Just what the Doctor Ordered!!. Awesome new addition to the strip!!! Especially for locals!! Super quality and extensive wine list like none in Freo, Gorgeous staff and service! Surprisingly long opening hours that favour everyone not in a hurry to get home and enjoy all the sights and sounds of Freo at night! Congratulations to all involved in its creation! And so close to Notre Dame!!! Will be sending all our staff and students from the West End your way! Awesome to see a bit of sparkle on the strip!
