Review 9 Seeds - Fremantle

Always hits the spot, inside or outside seating, visit the community garden out back while you’re there! The spicy options are actually spicy and they have a great vegetarian selection. The juice is awesome and always fresh, and the coffee is always so good too! Good food, good vibes

Came in on a Friday morning for some coffee and food. The coffee was served very quickly and tasted fantastic. Ordered the crab croquettes and the eggs were cooked to perfection with that lovely runny yolk in the middle. The croquettes were crispy on the outside and with great texture on the inside. Well balanced flavour and umami that hits the palette. The salad was a highlight that gives a bit of citrus and tanginess that complements the croquettes. Staff were very friendly as well. Highly recommended and would come back again!

The coffee and location is great. The steak sandwich was very tough and served on top of a huge splatter of sauce. Thank goodness for fresh chips.

Nice breakfast place, we had the "fill up" and "Cured salmon salad", the hash was good. I really like the cured salmon salad with sweet potato hummus and beetroot couscous, generous portions.

Pathetic service from the manager. My cup that I brought myself was a tiny little bit dirty, asked him to literally rinse it out with boiling water from the coffee machine. Would’ve taken about 2 seconds, just boiling water and he couldn’t do it. Really ? I come here to spend my money nearly every single morning and you can’t take 3 seconds to rinse out a cup? Absolutely Bizarre.

Visited 9 Seeds on Saturday morning for the first time. Very friendly welcome. We had the mushroom omelette which was delicious and creamy. Toast also yummy with heaps of butter. We had a double round of flat white coffees. Coffee is superb. Will see you soon. Thank you for making our weekend start on a great note.

Mr Neal, the boss and counter attendant, told me he started this '9 Seeds' cafe 9 years ago. The only thing I could describe for this cafe is 'Busy! Busy! Busy!' Yeap, people love the coffee here. The house coffee was well balanced in taste with a bit of roasted smell and very slight sourness, good body and smooth. Good and friendly staff. This nice and good size cafe is just located beside the busy Marmion St, Fremantle. Free roadside parking bays, and easy for a quick pick up. Cheers! (2021-07)

One of the beat breakfast’s we have had in Perth! We had the Zucchini Fritter, Lemon Curd Waffles and Brekky Burger…all amazing & great coffee!!

How i love it when the menu changes and it includes a few extra favourites! Lets face it.. gnocchi can be hard to get right but you've nailed it 9seeds! It was cooked perfectly with spinach, asparagus and peas, balanced with the nap sauce and parmesan yummm! Always a pleasure visiting, happy friendly staff!
Brenda Munro
Fantastic cafe in every way. Consistently great coffee, amazing food and the service is friendly, efficient and personal. Lovely spot for dining in & easy for takeaway. I go out of my way for this cafe!
Rhys Goss
Good coffee, friendly staff & well priced. It's great to have a place like this which is local.

Had a great breakfast here. Was the perfect spot to catch up with my cousin.

Brilliant food ... love the rye sour dough organic bread and berry smoothie especially

From food to coffee Everything feels amazing

Best pancakes I have ever eaten. Great coffee and good prices.
Sanna Heiska
I have been here about four time's before and they have good breakfast choices. :P

Awsome service, food and coffee...what more could you ask for!! 🖒

Awesome coffee, consistently great food and happy, friendly, efficient staff. I go out of my way to come to 9 Seeds - it's like a part of my family now! Neal, take a bow mate

The place is very nice! Excellent coffees and food The barista is quite grumpy though, If you are close why the door is open then? Very poor attitude because I'm the last customer of the day? Not fair, apart from that great place!!!
Tracy Hewitt
First time here and couldn't fault Great food and great friendly service !
Roy Duncanson
Fast becoming a regular, or would if it was just a bit closer to home to walk
Paul Johnston
Was waiting for my coffee this morning and the barista was busy coughing into his hand and snorting phlegm back in to his head while making my coffee. I walked outside once my coffee was ready and dumped it into the bin. Super disappointed.

Took us a while to visit 9 Seeds although we drove pass quite often. I had Steak Sandwich, Hubby had Zucchini Feta Cake. Both were tasty as they should be. Coffee was on bitter side but I didn’t mind it. Service was sufficient. I’ll go back to try other dishes one day.

super yum! staff was very friendly and helpful. the cafe has seating inside and in a little alcove outside as well. menu has the usual variety of brekkie cafe's that goes from eggs to muesli to fritters, a couple vegan dishes, vegetarian friendly, gluten friendly, and some nice lunch menu options. the muesli was yummo... very pretty but also a good balance of fruits and coconut yogurt. my scrambled eggs were amazing, decent serving and a flavour explosion in my mouth :) not sure if it needed the red stuff in the little white dish (harissa?) because it was already so full of spices and flavour. tumeric latte wasn't bad either ☕ definitely a favourite. especially with it being 10mins walk from my partners house ☺

Reasonable coffee, juucrs, good one pot beans and feta. Nice to have spicy food that was not overpowered by adding chilli. Enjoyed the family atmosphere and the local bike riders. Good local Cafe.
LittleGirlBigFood
I got a coffee here before Pilates this morning and it was spot on. I noted the cafe was full and the staff friendly and accomodating. I'll be back as I'll be in the area often x

Came here for a weekend brekkie and the place was super busy. Staff were friendly at the counter where I ordered my long Mac topped up and the salmon poached eggs salad. Coffee was very good and strong. Salad was huge for a brekkie portion, and fresh with lots of nice flavours. Loved the crunchy apples which went well with the salmon. Poached eggs were cooked perfectly. Will have to come back and try their lunch menu.

Wonderful service and fresh juices are absolutely amazing! The breakfast options are great and would suit a wide range of people which I liked and they have outdoor seating where dogs are allowed :) been coming back for years, always a reliable cafe to have a great breakfast!
Sandhya1814
I havent sat down and had breakfast at this cafe yet but have tried all their smoothies and often drop by for their savoury muffin. The muffins are moist and rustic, biting into huge pieces of feta and tomatoes are examples of describing the food.
GlennM
Not bad. Good food but pretty average service. Come on guys, it wouldn't kill you to offer water on arrival, smile and say g'day, and ask how the meal is or whether we would like anything extra (upsell......duh). Nice once but no reason to come again.
Renato
Fantastic and healthy food with great coffee to boot. The service is what you expect from a small, busy cafe - friendly enough and fairly casual.
KateM
While the staff were friendly, if fairly unenthusiastic, the food was average. My friend and I both ordered burgers, which were very plain and lacking in flavour. The chips were fine. Overall the place felt quite shabby and unwelcoming.
Simple Sally
I'll be honest, I though this would be one of those local not so good but just good enough places, working in hospitality I'm quite picky but wow! Ordered the bruschetta - simple and well done! Loved it... Coffee is good but the food was quite a standout, I was even impresses when it came out, chefs had taken their time on the presentation alone and the portion sizes were good. Will definitely be coming back to this quaint little place, thanks for a great breakfast guys!

Dropped in for a latte with my partner as part of my trek to try as many cafes as possible, either for a breakfast or for just a coffee and a treat. We were both looking forward to treating ourselves we something naughty. Unfortunately not too much was on offer. Muffins looked nice but the choice was either Orange & Chia or Orange & Chia. My partner is allergic to oranges,so that choice was gone. There was a choice of two types of chocolate cake and an orange and almond cake. They also had a slice called a paradise slice and a few jars which only had a few cookies in each. None of which looked to appealing. Overall the coffee was ok and the service was ok. Nothing that really excited me to go back.
Vegemicated
Coffee is good and the food is good. Nothing special or better than a lot of other cafes. It has minimal vegan options and is dog friendly at the outdoor seating. Service was good and helpful. Worth a try.
Joelene
Fabulous for breakfast!! I had the salmon, and frankly I could not fault my meal.
The juices were great and well priced, staff are friendly and actually look like they like working there!!! (Extra points for happy staff!)
I loved the outside eating area and relaxed feel of 9Seeds.
The community garden behind is also nice to appreciate after your meal too.
Will be traveling "across town" (south Freo to east Freo) for this little gem! Don't change guys - you're awesome!
5loaf2fish
To be very honest, this is quite a quaint cafe. Food here are very standard. There isn't one dish that you need to try because they are all quite plain and safe. If you crave for good ol brekkie, this is the spot for you.
Sera
I have been to 9 seeds about five times now. Nice location and easy to stop over when you want to grab a quick coffee. Food and coffee is good. But service has been a let down every time. It is understandable when you are busy to not greet your customers upon their entrance to your cafe. But when nobody is lining up to be served, this creates a very cold and unwelcoming atmosphere. Unfortunately, this has been the case 4/5 times I have been there. When I ordered coffee to take away one day, the staff member just called out my coffee order and handed the cup to me without even looking at me! They weren't even busy that day!! I said, “thank you” to the staff member and was again completely ignored. I decided to say it again until he decided to look at me - but this shouldn’t have been necessary. Please 9 seeds work on being more warm and welcoming to your customers. Your food is great but service really needs to be improved.

Went on a Sunday around 11. Coffee was excellent and came out super fast. Food was really good as well, nice neighbourhood spot. Dog friendly.
Mike
Been here before and it was really good. The coffees been quite good. Today however the girl on the till was really rude. (10am Sunday morning). Bad customer service experience so I won't be coming back.
AdamM
Great coffee. We have coffee at 9 Seeds most mornings and love being greeted by the friendly team who always make a great coffee. We've had dinner there a few times and it has always been excellent. Keep up the great work.

Breakfast Sunday Morning. We wanted somewhere quiet for breakfast so we thought we would try 9seeds and were very happy with our choice. We had the omlette with bacon on the side and wholemeal pancakes and lemon syrup both were cooked spot on. Actually probably best pancakes Ive had in years, I would have loved a bit more syrup for the last couple of mouthfuls! Next time I will have an extra shot in my coffee(mug) it was too weak. Service was quick and the ktchen was pumping out the meals and coffee!
Ive had lunch and coffee here a few times and have always enjoyed my meals. Will be back!!
Hannahsuzanneoneill
Bad service. I live close and love the idea of the cafe, but find i dont go there as the girls are always extremely rude, i feel as though i am a nuisance for being there or asking a question, i think when your dining out how you are treated by the wait staff plays a big part in the overall enjoyment of the night, i avoid this place and i would prefer to spend my money at a place that actually wants me in their shop. I think if the staff changed their attitude especially the girls customers would be alot happier in this cafe.
Sandman_king
Typical Perth service. Went there today to grab a coffee and sit down for a bit and the obnoxious woman serving felt it was her community service to inform me that they wouldn't accept eftpos unless it was a $10 minimum. I didn't have the exact change (who does) and she wouldn't have a bar of it so I walked out. I would have been happy to pay a surcharge for the coffee yet she wasnt having it at all.
I agree that the coffee is generally ok (apart from when they get orders wrong, really a cap with NO sugar isn't that hard) but the obnoxious, ignorant service that comes from this place is exactly what people think of when they think of customer service in Perth.
Julie D
BEST COFFEE, this is the place to go to get your fix. Smooth, creamy, delicious and fast friendly service. It's a yes from me!
Big_D
Best coffee in Freo. Don't look past this place for a great cuppa, I reckon the best place for coffee in Freo and great and friendly staff that are always accommodating. We take our kids here all of the time and they love it there as well. Highly recommend, just avoid the Saturday netball crowds in winter months.
Wetfish
Do not get the specials as the price is not give when you order only to find it is way over priced for poor quality and poor food size . A steak and a pice of fish with two drinks $75 .Not a cafe I would recommend to go too !
Kris Hedman
Home. This is my home for coffee and has been for 3 years. They keep me going, daily.

9 seed. Great food, not to wanky that you can't find anything to eat we have duck salad it was very tasty and mushroom risotto and to drink we had juice with Apple strawberry mint nice combo
Molly Dear
WHAT?. $6 Takeaway coffee!? Really?
Paul.egan1
Paul. Am a local resident and would go to 9 Seeds often, until today.
The coffee is good however the service leaves much to be desired,
after having to wait for fifteen minutes to place an order and see others who were after me receive their orders first, our order eventually arrived, which was incorrect. On questioning where the remander of our order was, I was eventally told we had not ordered the item in question, when it was demonstrated it had been paid for, and it was too late to consume the item a refund was given (in an extremely unfreindly manner).
We wil not ever go back!
Michael
Great food. must visit. had.... Great food. must visit.
had lunch the other day with a few mates. the gorgonzola tart was divine. burgers were filling and well made.
we had two rounds of perfect coffee.
will definitely be back.
Scott1478
Great evening. Went there for dinner with my wife, greeted by a very nice girl with a big smile. ordered pork belly and risotto. seriously the best pork belly i have ever had. had a perfect crust and was cooked to perfection. the risotto was amazing as well cooked perfectly and had very good flavours, these guys know what they are doing. a must go.
Rajah.quays
Nomadicchef. Went there with a friend for an evening meal. If it weren't for her we would have left soon after arrival. Therefore, in a nutshell; brain numbing thump thump music which was turned down after requesting but then turned back up by the moron in the pizza section, general dress of "chefs" is casual clothes and not too clean looking either, waitress was an absolute honey though. I had the risotto.........PUKE!!!! seriously bad. Excessive cheese, long grain rice and GREY!. The consistency was akin to stodgy glue. Moved around the bowl like a rubber. Upon paying ($24.00), I asked to speak to the "chef" I was informed that "we do not put cheese in our risotto" well hello!!! and that it was cooked fresh....my foot!!! Frankly, I do not think that they collectively add up to equal ONE decent chef. Our friend ordered lamb rump. Not medium rare as informed it would come, but basically uncooked in the middle. The wait staff were brilliant but then, why eat out when all one gets dished up is such bad attitude from the cook!!!! Agree with previous sentiment. AVOID at all costs.
Jamiedurie79
Loved it. Was recommended this place by friends, went there on a sunday, was greeted by a lovely girl behind the counter with a big smile. the coffee came pretty quick and was amazing, for breakfast we had omelette and cured salmon with poach eggs which were perfectly cooked and had really good flavours. would definitely recommend this place.

Great service and food. Ive been going to 9 seeds for a few years now. the only coffee I love. never burnt. everyone from our office goes there and nowhere else. muffins are exceptional as is the breakfast. last night I had my first night time meal there. 4 different meals. curry, steak, ribs and fish all absolutely exceptional. the cook came out to check on us and the waitresses were smiley and laughing and attentive. fn awesome.
Sasha
Disappointing - Food was very nice but staff very unfriendly and rude, female waitresses customer service very disappointing - can get the same food with better service at other cafes nearby so won't bother returning
Pedro
I don't know if I should vote for or against, so I'll just say the following. Staff we're not very friendly when we ordered... A simple 'hello' goes a long way first thing in the morning. Coffee was good and served very quickly. Eggs were poached to perfection, mushrooms gorgeous, though the 'hash brown' consisting of a square of grilled mashed potato was overpowered with rosemary. The toast was very hard around the crust, very difficult to cut. All up neither good, nor bad..... My honest thoughts
Huckle
Great meal. Went there for dinner with a group. The food took quite a while to arrive but it was worth the wait. Really good food. The serves are big - if you order a pizza for one person then you will be taking some home. Good flavours and intelligent cooking going on there, we have a new favourite local caffe.
Gourmet Critic
Hissy Missy Spoils our breakfast. Our group decided to give this an early morning weekend once over ...we researched Urbanspoon and others but the critiques on another popular website seemed not to allow negative opinions to be voted on ...a slight trip if not a fall ...suspicions aroused. met with loud music and one of our group enquired about the opening hours ...three times ...whereupon Miss Muso/Hearing thus impaired had a visible meltdown. Our water enquiry resulted in some more frozen sullen ice ...yeesh and we haven't ordered yet. We decided to forensically enquire amongst ourselves of what we had done wrong ...then selected our most moderate colleague to give the 9Seeds a once over ...her report filthy unswept and unhygienic ablutions, coffee like the proverbial used dishwater ...etc added to the initial reception ...hmmm.costing it's owners much if things do not improve ...we will give it a metaphorical improvement notice and turn up with hearing aids next time in about a month or so ...until then stay away ..I SAID STAY AWAY ....STAY AWAY ....pardon?

PIZZA!. We had quite a few people over so decided to order pizzas from 9 Seeds. We placed the order in the morning, they were stacked up ready to go when we picked them up in the evening. Delicious, fresh and will definitely have them again. Thanks guys!

Recommendation for 9 Seeds. Great, friendly cafe with excellent coffee and food and excellent staff! My favourite place!
Karyn Zaska
Amazing,Affordable & Local. We had been recommended by friends and have been there on two separate occasions. The service was good the food awesome, for starter we had calamari with a garlic aioli and the bruschetta with roasted cherry tomatoes and feta with basil the presentation was superb. For main we had the rack of lamb served with broccoli and squashed potatoes excellent. We shared a dessert which was a lemon lime crumble to "die for" presented in a cute glass jar (very Melbourne) . Last time we went I had the special which was a homemade nocchi with goats cheese, orange infused beet root with toasted or fried walnuts and kale ... Amazing flavours .... My partner had the angus beef fillet with a mushroom sauce... The presentation was excellent... Dessert was a lime brûlée to die for... We love this spot especially sitting in the court yard and enjoying the ambiance we love the music.
The restaurant reminds us of Melbourne they have some different dishes on the menu which ads to the uniqueness of 9seeds ... Well done guys
Natalie
Love the fact 9seeds is close to home and fast but am seriously disapointed on numerous occasions with the service and rude staff. I only enjoy the coffees that are made by the girls too as they arnt bitter. Thanks
Lisha784
Amazing Food and Totally Adorable Staff!!. 9 Seeds is a very nice cosy place which serves amazing food. Have had breakfast and lunches several times down here and have never been disappointed. The menu is very tastefully set keeping in mind the needs of all the age groups. Their fresh juices are to die for!! Keep it up guys!!
Cheryl Fletcher
Great coffee, very nice place, well done, keep up the good work !!
Jessica Clampton
To the people who can't wait more than 5 minutes for a coffee on a busy morning you need to practise some Hatha yoga. 9 Seeds has become one of my favourite cafes. Obviously the coffee is unreal. I also like the fact this cafe has its own identity, it's not trying to be some Melbourne w@nk joint in Perth. The people that work there aren't stuck up, tired and careless. They remember customers and are happy to work where they work. Always a great way for us to start our day. Thanks 9 Seeds.
Nella Shack
This cafe has been a fantastic cafe until recently. baristas need to colaborate in order to serve the cutomers with what they expect every visit
DISEman
Now open for dinner. Our first dinner experience at 9 Seeds was a memorable one. Offering excellent pizzas with quality toppings but without the oily/cheesey overdose and several other options that are light flavoursome and pertfect for the sultry Fremantle evenings this is sure to become a regular over the coming summer. Try the prawn and sausage entree and the duck salad. Highly reccommended!
Cibo Semplice
Service too Slow. Quality of coffee isn't too bad. Service is too slow. Especially waiting to place a take-away order. Too crowded at times inside.
Kristie Popkiss
Lovely healthy lunch.
Heidi
Amazing coffee. Had breakfast here on a Sunday. Kids shared French brioche with berries and a Big Fill. Both great, eggs cooked perfectly. Would be nice to see better (even house made) hash browns, but otherwise great. I had the corn cake with salmon & burnt orange sauce & loved it. The burnt orange sauce was just a smear so only got hints of the flavour, the salmon was amazing & plenty of it, 2 poached eggs beautifully oozing - all delicious and SO filling! Husband got the omelette with shredded duck & mushrooms. Again, absolutely amazing flavour, beautifully cooked, and very filling. We didn't have lunch that day!

Make sure you finish your meal with a visit to the community garden out the back - our kids would have stayed there for hours.
I Love To Dine
My local coffee & breakfast spot, never disappoints! Best coffee in Perth and such friendly staff :)
Kylie
Great coffee - Not so good food. Love 9 Seeds coffee however being a local I really want to support their menu but I can't. Ordered the corn cake, poached egg, salmon with burnt orange sauce. Sounded nice enough but unfortunately there were so many flavours going on it was over whelming and in turn left you feeling sick. Burnt orange sauce plus hollandaise sauce two very intense flavours on their own. Salmon was very thick which is not nice sashimi style then a lovely corn pancake which was covered in all the above...... Keeping the flavours simple always works, I hope they adjust the menu soon :)
Joe
Great food. Perfectly poached eggs. Runny in the centre and not watery. Coffee and service was also good.
Phil Roberts
Awesome coffee and food. Friendly staff are great and always remember a local face. Going to miss my 9 seeds long mac when I move to Melbourne.
Jess
Went for breakfast on a Tuesday, was greeted by seriously rude staff. Left and went somewhere else. Check your attitude ladies!
Shaydock
Very disappointing that you got rid of the pancakes with balsamic strawberries, I had fantasies about that
Unhealthy Appetite
Nice little Cafe. 9 Seeds is the sort of suburban cafe that Perth needs more of. Straight down the line good cafe food, great coffee and fantastic service. Never a dissapointment
Mark
Coffee is fine but..................... I'm normally very happy to grab a takeaway coffee at 9 seeds but after venturing down the breakfast panini path I have discovered their limitations.
Hmmmm .. stale bread and a stone cold bacon and egg filling with..... whatever it was.......seriously took the shine off my morning coffee.
I"m sure the very friendly and considerate 9 Seeds people will sort it out.
Tanza
WOW their freshly made juices are to die for!!!
Meals are reasonably priced, location is a great way to spend your lazy sunday lunch!
Sally
Really good coffee. Went to 9 seeds this thursday with a friend for the first time, it was pretty busy, ordered two coffees absolutely loved it would definitely go back again.
Karma Crush
Truly terrible coffee. I bought a takeaway coffee this morning and was disappointed to get it home only to find that it was so bitter that it was undrinkable. If I'd still been in the cafe I would have asked for my money back.
James
Really yummy breaky. Had been hearing about this cafe for a long time finally gave it a go this mothers day. absolutely loved there salmon omelette, and the juice was amazing. the place had a very good vibe. would love to go back soooooon.
JimmyRussels
Good local cafe.. Go for the quality burgers and chips. If you're still hungry after that, try one of the incredible gooey-centred mini chocolate cakes - if they're in stock. The only criticism I have about 9 Seeds is that it's not very comfortable. There is no toilet, and the restaurant can be a bit cramped and unclean when it's busy.

While you're there, check out the community garden in the back. Visitors are welcome.
Truth Ful
Don't Bother!. I've never written a review before but the disgraceful breakfast I received this morning needs mentioning. One word.....TERRIBLE.

Coffee was shocking, I ordered the Big Fill - I could have cooked better with my eyes closed. Do yourself a favour people & go somewhere else.

Sorry!! But on a positive, the waitress was very friendly.
Calisa
Why change?. I used to love sitting on the couch at the front of the cafe, flicking through magazines and people watching out the window......but then they CHANGED it all around! Why do people do that when something was already working so well? I was a regular there for their fabulous breakfast an sometimes a burger for lunch, especially on the weekends. So I have now started going to the Corner Room in South Fremantle instead. Nick and Estelle always make me feel welcome and appreciated.
Lauren Thayer
Good coffee. I live 2 mins away from this place and have occaisionally walked down for lunch or coffee. The coffee is always very good and rich. The menu changes a lot but they always seem to have some kind of burger, they are yummy! I have tried the macho burger and the one with chicken and pesto.. can not remember what its called.

Overall the place is small and has a nice vibe but I do agree it can be rather dirty somedays
Rollergirl
Great coffee. Really really consistently good coffee.
They also have a delicious melon salad for breakfast
Hep Cat
Great local. This isn't the hippest place around but it doesn't try to be anything it's not. Great coffee and excellent cakes! I haven't tried the burgers but they sound dope.
Caroline Klein
Charming. I love the couch in front of the window - hidden in the corner. The coffee is usually perfect although I did jag a new person once and it was too hot - a common mistake new barista's make. Great casual vibe with understated rich people regularly flocking in. Great for break fast too.
Mark Crouch
Scraped the bowl clean.. Visited for the first time midweek and ordered a basic Caesar salad which was spot on. Nicely dressed and beautiful fresh ingredients. Coffee was pretty good and served nice and quickly. Will be back
Ricky Harken
Absolutely loved it. Went there on saturday the coffee was great and the food was very good and the vibe was fantastic, will recomend it.
Foodie Perth
Great Burgers. We go there a lot for the amazing gluten free burgers, the sauces on them are home-made and fresh. The chips are really good to, they are the ones with the skins still on, yum! These with a big pot of chai....heaven!
The place is really laid back, and sometimes the staff can often forget that they are at work and not in a bar, but they are always cheery and friendly, unlike some places where you get a free side of attitude with your meal, so it doesn't bother me all that much. It's relaxing and cruisy, perfect place where you can just eat your food with your hands, kick back on a sofa and chat. It's one of our favourites!
Lex
Happy customers. We had a burger and calamari with two juices. The juices were really good a different mix maybe watermelon, strawberry and lime?? So tasty
Grublet
Urgh!. This place is filthy! it may be on a main road but please! sweep the floor and dust the benches at least! especially if you're going to leave muffins uncovered. Thought i would leave my usual haunt, 58, to visit this place but i waited 20 mins for my coffee before my friend arrived and ordered hers & got it before me! they had obviously forgotten mine somehow & i ended up waiting over 45 minutes for it! not cool! could also hear staff out the back swearing and carrying on. way too casual for me, will not be back!
Terrine De Lapin
Went inside on the June Monday holiday & noticed there were few homemade cakes + the slices looked old & some had slightly curled corners. Thought this wasn't a good sign & walked out & drove to Oontong Lincoln.
Pennae
Took over 40minutes for our breakfast to arrive. Don't go here if you're in a hurry!
The Sexy Marshmallow
Great Local Cafe. Been there when it just opened, great location for locals. The juice was nice and their home made cake was the winner. Have been wanting to go back again and try their burgers. You should give it a go if you are in the Freo area!
Susie
Good place. I like this friendly little cafe. A welcome addition to the neighbourhood.
Pixelgroove
Dirty. Went to 9 Seeds on a sunny Thursday for lunch. From the moment we walked in we felt uncomfortable, the place felt a little dirty and disheveled.

Nothing grabbed us on the menu that seem to jump around the globe, like a contiki tour gone wrong, african squid, asian noodles, indian soup, burgers.

So we wondered over to the counter. A bunch of dry looking panini in a dirty fridge, hmmm, a bunch of old looking cakes piled high... no thanks.

Im sorry 9 Seeds, but your going to have to do better if you want our business.
Kazzablanca13
Visited this quaint little cafe on the weekend. Food and coffee were good but service was dodgy.
Angie Yang
They make fresh juice and smoothies which i am really into right now. I originally ordered a mango and banana smoothie but they ran out of banana. It still tasted great :) I didn't feel like anything heavy so i ordered a pumpkin salad, which was to die for! Yum! Blueberry Muffin and Ice Coffee My friend ordered a blueberry muffin and couldn't finish it so i took half of it home. It was a bit dry for me but the flavour was there, the crunchy bits at the top was the best. My friend said she buys c

My chicken, Gouda and avocado sandwich was to die for, especially when washed down with a yummy juice concoction of passion fruit, pear and pineapple. The coffee was just so-so, unfortunately. But all was forgiven upon realisation that the bookshelves lining the walls of 9 Seeds were filled with used books for sale. This might be my new favourite café!
