Coming from a Californian and regular long-term customer at Piggy Food Co. I can honestly say this is the closest thing to proper Baja/Mexican style tacos as you can get in Perth. The shrimp tacos are to die for. The customer service is great; the girls at the counter are super friendly and the owners and kitchen staff are lovely as well. They definitely go above and beyond to ensure the food you're getting is top quality and locally sourced. Thanks Piggy staff for always making our visits enjoyable - looking forward to this weekend when I can get my taco and piggy chip fix!

Absolutely love This Little Piggy! Will recommend them to anyone who will listen. Often send my own customers down there for a feed. They have done an amazing job with selecting their staff. I never had anything but exemplary service. Even when extremely busy the staff are happy, friendly & helpful. Food is amazing and has become a weekly tradition for us. Originally appearing as a pop up restaurant in 2014, Piggy Food Co soon made a permanent home on the bustling North Fremantle strip. The small bar has a Southern Californian food offering, featuring the type of easy to eat comfort food that’s found right on the border of the US and Mexico. Here, it’s ok to make a piggy of yourself. Cutlery is optional, but napkins are absolutely essential!

Well this place is awesome for food and drink. Staff were very friendly and always looking out for empty glasses on the table and food dishes. Very well priced and will definitely back again
The young ladies who work here are super nice and friendly. Ordered the fish burger here as they both recommended it. By far the best fish burger I have had - the snapper was deep fried but had the texture and delicacy of really good Japanese tempura. The slaw complimented it well without overpowering the taste of the fish. And the bun was a very good quality brioche. Fantastic burger and a must try!!

You will have a snorting good time at Piggys 🐖 They offer a relaxed place with bench seats out in the sun. Hipster friendly crowd.
For those of us that need a bit of cushioning they have a quaint basket of blankets which can double as a cushion. You can fit about 8 people comfortably at each table. The only cider on tap is a clear crisp cider and at only $9 a pint it is a great way to start the meal. Allow time for parking and take a deep breath coz it's packed. There is parking offered at the post office just near the lights. The mojos carpark is usually chock a block at lunch time. If you feel like a light snack the tacos at $7/$8 each are supreme. I would suggest ordering two because they are dainty and small. This means they are easy to eat.
I recommend Piggys for a nice arvo with the gals or a quick bite before heading on to some live music at Mojos. If you are a beach goer there is a cute surf shop next door so you can have a drink and then go check out the specials rack!
I can't believe all the bad reviews here !! We came here on a crowded Friday night. We ordered the pulled pork burger and chips with aioli. The chips were sensational. The pulled pork burger was delicious- the ciabatta bun was soft. The pork was juicy and flavorsome. The icecream sandwiches are SO GOOD!!
Amazing. Absolutely amazing. My girlfriend and I have been here numerous times and the food has been absolutely delicious. It's so fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and the entire atmosphere makes you want to go each weekend. Highly recommend!

Piggy is a relaxed but vibrant place to share a meal and a few BYO beers on the weekend. Sweet location right next to Brown's and Mojo's so we could dance the night away with a full tummy of Mexican goodness. Everything we had was super fresh, tasty and seasoned to perfection. The house made sauces are so good, and there are spicy salsas on the counter so you can have it how you like it. Chipotle wings were amazing (with home-made ranch... incredible). Hog fries are to die for! And enough delicious tacos to go around. There are great vegetarian options too (deep fried avocado taco anyone?) and salads if you don't want to totally pig out. Truly something for everyone, especially we lovers of desserts you can hold in both hands. My dancing buddies and I will surely be back!
Awesome laid back atmosphere and clean, basic, inviting decor. The outdoor eating area is perfect for summer. We ordered the pulled pork, fish, shrimp and chicken tacos, chicken wings, pulled pork fries and cookies and cream sandwich. The tacos were alright, fresh ingredients were used but it lacked a kick of flavour whether it be via meat marinade or sauce. The pulled pork taco was the exception that was tasty as hell. Chicken wings were nice, the chipotle could've been more prominent but the ranch dressing was lovely. Pulled pork fries were my fav. Soft pulled pork, fresh tomatoes mix, sour cream and cheese smothered on chips! Sooo good. The ice cream cookie is great, leave room for dessert! Another big plus is it's BYO. Def worth a look in!

Finally got round to coming back for a dinner here and it was fantastic! Pretty much ordered the entire menu, the hot fries, chipotle chicken wings, quesadillas, tacos, whole hog burger and the raspberry white choc and a pretzel with peanut butter ice cream cookie sandwich.
I really enjoyed that 'piggy salt' and the chipotle aoli with the fries it gave them a very unique smokey and salty taste MMMmmm. Wings were great but didnt have enough but good as a taster when you stupidly order so much! Whole hog burger packed a real punch of flavour and was highly enjoyable. the pulled pork still retained some structure whereas in other restaurants its just a sloppy mess, this team has got this right! Grabbed the ice cream sandwiches as takeaway to go eat down on the water, they are great, possibly one of my favourite desserts getting around at the moment, simple but delicious. Great meal and next time will remember to BYO
Was searching for desserts after dinner and found this little place pop up. First impressions walking in was regret, the fact I hadn't had dinner here as the food being played up looked great. I grabbed the macadamia and caramel cookie ice cream, it tasted great and had hints of maple syrup. They're stored in a freezer preprepared and that helps with giving the biscuit a softer structure making it easy to eat. Will be back soon for dinner!
Been to Piggy twice and loved the Chicken wings and fish taco!! Best part about this place is that, its BYO, personally i would say its a great place for food and pre-drinks before a great night out!! Wasnt the biggest fan of the dessert, but a lot of others do like it so why not try. 😄
We both loved it! Really busy for a Sunday evening but managed to get a table. We weren't too hungry and ordered the chicken, haloumi, beef and prawn tacos plus the quesadillas which were just right for 2. All tacos were amazing especially the prawn which was packed with flavour. The quesadillas were also delicious, highly recommend those. The vibe was relaxed and casual and the staff were great! We finished off with a salted caramel icecream sandwhich which was a perfect way to finish the meal. Would definitely come back!!

Seriously love this place and their amazing tacos. I'm from California and since moving to Perth have been whinging daily about how horrible real Mexican food is here but alas, I've found a place that hits the spot! Run by a fellow Californian, she knows how to make a good taco - the handmade tortillas really make all the difference, and she knows that a proper taco doesn't have shredded cheese and sour cream in it! I love all the tacos but my favourites are probably the fish, chicken and fried avocado ones.
You have to try their homemade ice cream sandwiches too, they're amazing!
I have yet to try the burgers but if they're anything like the tacos, I'm sure I'll be impressed!

This place has restricted opening times so I've been meaning to come for ages now I've been twice. The boy loves it here. Bigger than it looks on the outside casual almost American style diner feel with counter service. Staff are really friendly and helpful and food is great and Mexican themed. BYO as well which is great with Old Bridge Cellars 2 doors down. Love it
This is the best Mexican/Californian food I've ever had! Such great value as the portions are huge and not to mention the flavour... so juicy and full of flavour! Very fresh and there are light, healthy options too :) The pork slaw salad, wings with blue cheese dipping sauce and hog fries have to be my favourite. The staff create such a friendly vibe and I will definitely become a regular at this place.
This place is different! The tiniest drinks menu I've ever seen (although they have a licensing petition you can sign!). And an interesting food menu filled with tacos and burgers and pulled pork and chicken wings and haloumi. After a helpful chat with the super friendl girl at the counter I settled on a Haloumi burger to take away. It was so good poor Buster didn't get any scraps, luckily he was too tired to care! I probably won't come back as soon I will be living 60kms+ away 😢 Trying to tick off my Freo To Eat list before that happens! Very clean and simplistic decor. Confused about the opening hours as the place says closed at 2.30 and zomato says closes at 3.30 (or vice versa).
Been eyeing this place up for a few weeks now. Managed to pop in last night. Had the pulled pork burger. Really nice but just lacked a little more oomph, more BBQ sauce and more coriander in the slaw to give it more flavour perhaps. Avocado and Fish tacos were had also, but its really tiny for $7 each. I think they should serve say 3 and charge a bit more. We will come back as theres much more on the menu we want to try esp they yummy ice cream sandwiches. Worth a visit for sure
This place is amazing! Had the prawn and fish tacos and was delicious!! Demolished them in seconds. We also had the chicken wings which so soft and tasty! The fries covered in pulled pork and chips were also amazing. Can not fault this place, the food was spot on! The icecream sandwich is a must from here, we really enjoyed the salted caramel flavor.
This place was heaving. Good food at a good price and BYO meant we had a great time here and will be back. The hog fries were a winner as were the ice cream sandwiches. I'd recommend booking at the weekend as there weren't many tables left at 7:30

This Little Piggy is like connoisseur ice cream in between 2 choc chip subway cookies but better!
Anthony Trovato and I order the chocolate fudge and the cookies and cream and shared half of each. I have to say the cookies and cream one was definitely my favourite. If you've ever had connoisseur cookies and cream Ice cream and absolute cannot stop yourself from eating it, then you'll love the cookies and cream sandwich.
The chocolate fudge was just a big, thick chunk of rich chocolate ice cream which was really nice. I think if we let the sandwich sit for a bit and let it melt, we would of enjoyed it more. It was really cold biting into the sandwich and really tough too.
Overall, such a great idea for this business. Previously just a pop up store and back by popular demand they've opened up a permanent store. Come here to enjoy a nice ice cream sandwich!
I'm a TLP Fan.. Unfortunately tomorrow night will be the last chance to savour the delights at TLP in Nth Fremantle. They have to find new premesis, so we all hope that will not take long. From your choice of Rolls and Tacos, to the Chicken Wings and the Ice Cream Sandwiches, they are all winners and the quality has not varied since it opened. Look forward to your new home guys, sure it will be as good as this one if not better.
After seeing so many posts of the ice cream sandwiches on Instagram, I just had to visit this place. There are only four items on the menu, with our favourite being the ice cream sandwich of course. So far, I have tried four flavours of the ice cream sandwich...
Haloumi Taco and Pulled Pork Roll. The food was delicious and fresh. Service was quick and the ambience friendly and relaxed.
Everyone's doing pulled pork these days but these guys do it right! Rich juicy pork and fresh zingy toppings leave you feeling like all is good with the world.
Awesome Pork and Tacos!. This place has a wonderful pop-up vibe to it and is only open weekend nights (it's a separately owned cafe by day) and serves up fresh rolls, tacos, spicy wings (best of all with blue cheese dressing) and to die for ice cream sandwiches. The pork is delicious- moist, super flavourful and covered in bbq sauce (all the sauces are homemade). It was more than a relief to discover THERE ARE places to get good Mexican food in Perth, and especially ones that can back it up with the hot sauces and home made tortillas!

Went here on the 29/06/22 with my band before our gig at mojos down the road. We were happily greeted by two lovely staff members who helped us out and their service was impeccable, I wish I caught their names because they really did stand out to me as amazing workers. Their recommendations on the food and also drinks was amazing and definitely lead to us all having a great time. I Had ordered the double American cheeseburger with bacon and it did not disappoint one bit. The Hot wings were also really lovely with the BBQ sauce and ranch. Definitely would recommend this place to other people in north freo.
The staff were probably the nail on the coffin for me in terms of enjoyment the way they joked around with us and gave some great suggestions was definitely a worth it spot to try for the first time.

😍 super tasty burgers Spanish/Mexican flavours , loving the chorizo . They didn’t have a children’s menu but my kids had no issue smashing through their version of a cheese burger as they are use to heat and spice.
