Busy little spot at lunchtime today, 1st visit but I'm assuming that's normal. The food is cheap and tasty so that explains it. Had the green chicken curry, I think around $12 or so. Was slightly sweet but very nice all round, quite tasty and filling with the rice. Would recommend.

In 2016, the idea of having a fusion of both Aussie and Thai traditional food was formed. The owner took extra miles to be a coffee roaster. The coffee beans were imported from Ethiopia. The long macchiato brewed from dark roasted beans were rich, slightly sweet, full body and a bit sour. The after-drink had a sustained taste.
The friendly barista recommended their popular Pad Thai or pineapple fried rice. Maybe I would go for wok-fried Pad Thai when I pass by again. Good service. Good ambient, nice and cosy cafe. Cheers! (2021-10)

Just had the green curry with prawns and it was gorgeous. Spicy but sweet with a hint of mint for freshness. The prawns and veggies tasted super fresh and perfectly cooked!

This must be Fremantle's little secret place. Sort of reminds me of a place in Subiaco we visited a little while ago. The food is genuine and the coffee is superb. Do yourself a favour and make sure you go out of your way to get something from here. It's worth the trip.

I've been meaning to try The Loft for ages. I had heard great reviews. We ordered to take away and it was less then a ten minute wait on a Saturday night. Impressive. So fresh and heaps of veges. A little surprise around the corner from the action. I went with a friend for a quick lunch and loved my meal. Her beef salad was filling and my rice was right on. Portions not too massive which I’m always happy about.

Just moved to this part of Freo and have found my go to place for coffee on to the way to work in the City and a meal on the way home in the evening. Staff are always friendly and is good value for money both ends of the day.

Good coffee, a lovely cosy ambience in the loft that is well-advertised by this cafe's name, and usually friendly staff. When it's quiet this place is the ideal location to bring a book and rest for a while away from the main cafe strip. <br/><br/>This place converts into a tapas bar at night, which seems like a novel idea but I'm in it for the hideaway.

Breakfast at The Loft was fine. Had the omelette and the hollandaise. The quality was good and the presentation adequate. The coffee was ok along with the coconut milkshake. Nice enough.

Found this little gem in Fremantle last night on our way through. Food was really good and very well priced. Relaxed atmosphere which makes it a change from our usual place which like some Thai cafes tend to take themselves a bit to seriously and charge accordingly. Had a coffee at the end and was first class. It was obvious the barista who I think was the owner really new what he was doing. Will make sure I call in again in the morning for a brew on the way out of town.

Thought I’d go off the beaten track for a quick brekkie at the Loft Café in Freo. Causal place with friendly staff. I ordered the omelet with ham and cheese, and a long Mac topped up at the counter. Coffee came out quickly and was strong and hot; perfect coffee. My omelet arrived soon after and was fluffy full of flavour. Love every bite. Nice little place off the beaten track and well worth a try

I opted for the Pad Ka Pow with chicken for $11.95. The flavour was good, the chicken tender and veges fresh... but it was too small. I left hungry. Nice people, but a little extra food would keep me coming back.

This place has a sign out the front that says they have the best Thai food in Freo, well I'm going to say they have the best Pad Thai in Perth. I've had it several times from them now and I'm completely addicted. However, I've never tried anything else (because I love the damn Pad Thai so much) so I can't vouch for the rest of the menu. Keep up the awesome work!

The Loft is one of Freo's Thai restaurant and it's casual style and good prices makes it a nice place to eat. I really enjoyed their Red Beef Curry especially it was super fresh and came with plenty of crispy vegetables. My Lemongrass and ginger tea compliment it well. <br/><br/>The only problem with The Loft it has no toilets :(

Just had takeaway tonight. Both the Thai fried rice and chicken green curry were really good. Fried rice was fragrant and not oily, green curry had a really good flavour without being too sweet or creamy. Found such a gem in Freo with very reasonable price. Will be back for more!

I have been coming here everyday ever since i discovered this little gem on Adelaide st. The coffee here is well balanced and very consistent and the owner is very passionate about his work as he performs quality checks every time i come in. Looks like i'll be getting my daily coffee fix at the loft until i find a better place close to work (unlikely!)

Hands down the best thai food in Fremantle. There's a selection of yummy Thai salads and a handful of mains to choose from. Portions are reasonable and prices fair. Service is very friendly and fast. The food is simply amazing... Well worth planning into a trip to town.<br/>

We have given this café a go twice and twice they have overcharged us for the same meal - the first time it was explained as an error in ringing up on the til, the second time we were that the error was apparently an outdated menu - over charge by the same amount each time. First time overcharge refunded, second time we basically had to suck it up. First time reasonable balance of contents and sauce...second time all sauce nor meat and half filled container! - go figure....tip the receipt isn't offered, best ask for it

Yum. I work close by and 4 times out of 5 get my morning coffee from here, the service is great - he knows my order and its done quickly and deliciously might I add. If you're early enough you might even snag a fresh home made muffin - these things are out of this world delicious. Light and fluffy, and guaranteed always warm out of the oven.<br/>Often get lunch there as well - for the price and convenience it's good food, always fresh and hot. Quite often a little too sweet for my liking but I think I've gotten used to it for now. Wouldn't say it's the best Thai in Freo but I would be sad if they shut up shop.<br/><br/>Only downside is sometimes the staff are very unwelcoming and I feel bad disrupting them to order.

The Loft Fremantle, has the best Thai food in the area hands down, the menu is creative, flavourful and healthy. The price of dishes is VERY reasonable, 10.95 for lunch special! I eat here 3 times a week and would consider myself an addict. Definitly in my top ten places to eat in Fremantle.

Lovely. My partner and I visited for coffee after spending the morning at Port Beach. We wanted to avoid the cafe strip due to parking issues and happened around this little gem.<br/><br/>The coffee and relaxed atmosphere are great. I also loved the staff who were friendly, and the barista had no issue serving me a long black with milk on the side. It is well worth visiting.<br/><br/>We would love to go back to try out the Thai food.

What a find!!. Had heard mention this new place "the loft" up the east end of Fremantle. Needing a change from the selection on the strip, headed up there to give it a go. This place shouldn't be mentioned in passing it should be recommended as a must try. The flavours and freshness of the food was delightful and tasted authentic. Service was quick prices very good at average $10 per dish which is more than filling. A regular for me now

It has just opened for dinner Weds to Sat! I've never been here before but I've just had two mains and two entrees for $40 and am willing to say it is so much better than Sala Thai! I'll definitely come back here for dinner! The food is delicious and the staff very friendly! It's a YEAH!! From me!

Brisk but friendly service. My go-to for a soy latte - they (apologetically) use Vitasoy and not Bonsoy (they can't afford the latter!), but it hits the spot all the same. I've yet to try any of the curries but I'm told they're more than happy to make anything vegan if indicated.

Gem. Only recently tried this place, great coffee, love the steak and chicken wraps which are very decent value and the venue is very cool. At lunch they're full but not packed and there's just a very chilled vibe. Only gripe is the snacks - $3.50 for an ok lime tart that I can eat in one go?! But I'll definitely be back - many places to have sweets in Freo!

Lunch Special. Another gem of a small restaurant. Lunch was just right, good food, good prices and good service. The massamam beef was outstanding, just the right texture and not overly spiced as the big houses usually do. Well worth the effort to get there.

Read abt this place in our local Herald review. Had Chicken Pad Thai, Prawn Pad Thai, Fish Cakes n Prawn Parcels shared by 3. Loved everything, the lemon grass ginger tea (with real leaves) was very good too! Very reasonable priced .. have been back twice within the same week!
