The Little Concept is now my morning habit. Really relaxed atmosphere, polite staff and great music. And oh, the coffee is great too! Get a discount if you bring your own cup, and you can get one drink free of you buy ten. I've not tried the food, but looks great!

If you want great tasting coffee then this place is a must. Such a variety on the menu. Only one of the rare few places that has coconut milk! Love the raw treats! Staff are amazing!

So we started coming here on a weekend and at first the staff we found were not so friendly but we loved the coffee and the customer service got better. But after doing it for a few weeks now we've had to find a new coffee stop for Saturday as they don't do cream for coffee anymore and as LCHF we don't do milk and are not keen on nut milks. Was great while it lasted, if there's any advice I could give tell your staff to advise the customer before they pay that you don't do cream anymore than come to the table with milk and act surprised when they say they don't drink milk.

Love having the Beetroot latte here. The staff are super helpful and friendly :) wonderful place to hang out at; quiet part of Freo, but not far from the main drag. Had to bring home a pack of beetroot latte powder with me.

Such a wonderful atmosphere, lovely staff - they ALWAYS have a smile! - and a delicious selection of foods and drinks. I feel so calm and happy when I'm there, wether it be with friends or I've just gone by myself with my notebook :) it's been a while since I've been and I am having withdrawals!! Everyone has to try this wonderful place!!

Even after 1 year the coffee is just as delicious as the first time I wandered in to try it - still my favourite place to go for the best coffee in Perth. I can also tell you the staff are friendly and down to earth which is refreshing.

Great coffee shop, positive vibes all around, many varieties of healthy snacks and drinks. Don't get charged extra for almond, soy, or rice milk & the waitresses and manager is always their to tell you about the products and help when you can't decide on all the fabulous choices. Love it.

I always pop into TLC during my lunch break - its always a friendly and relaxing atmosphere. Very healthy food and delicious red coffee! Love the sausage rolls with a surprise serving of homemade chutney and the vegetarian options. Also recommend the red apple - very refreshing :)

Omg THE WORST customer service! Went for brekky on Saturday morning. Rude lady with pigtails on the till, then she brings out two incorrect orders and tells me to take the bacon off one of them as she must have got it wrong! I asked for some salt & pepper as there wasn’t any to be seen, she says ‘sure’ and never came back. Meals were all cold! Would not recommend or go back ever!

Hands-down, this cafe is my favourite working-cafe in Fremantle. <br/><br/>It has the Trifecta of freelance needs - affordable, good quality coffee with free wifi and conveniently located power points. The tables near the power points are at a good height so you can choose to sit or stand while working, and the cafe interior is naturally lit by a wonderful floor-to-ceiling window. The music in this cafe is also pretty good - not overly distracting and pleasant to listen to. <br/><br/>The staff here are fantastic and cater to your needs as much as they can. They serve a lot of healthy food so you're not tempted to binge on sugary snacks while you're there. This cafe has a HUGE list of coffee-free alternatives if caffeine isn't your thing, and is child and dog friendly as well. Their 80% cocoa is nicely done if you have a friend or family member that lacks a sweet tooth, and I can personally recommend their toasted sandwiches when they're in stock. It's well positioned near the centre of Fremantle if you have meetings nearby and plenty of convenient parking and public transport options as well.

Great Ambience, terrible coffee and the most horrendous customer service I have experienced in a long time. Truly appalling, would not return without a change of staff!

Cute little cafe with an extensive drinks menu and excellent coffee. Tried the iced peanut butter mocha today which was so so good. Great selection of vegan fare as well! Recommend the vegan beetroot patty - was absolutely delicious. Great friendly service. Will be back!

Good coffee, the yogurt cups with musli are really yummy if you want a quick breakfast . A good amount of gluten free options . Staff are always really nice .

What a mess. Came here on Friday and what a dirty shop, plates and cups everywhere, no service, no smile! Everyone too busy chatting with there friends, and to top it off, coffee was watery JUNK. Not happy, won't be returning!!

My ultimate favourite cafe! Very creative with their coffees and hot chocolate. Have you ever tried hot chocolate with turmeric or a match hot chocolate? Thats the place to go if you wanna try something different. I love their 70% dark hot chocolate. My go to place with my e-reader.

Bought my usual takeaway coffee and it was okay. Drinkable. It was quite cheap under $4. Maybe it was an off day for them. Saturday mid morning. However lots of people having brunch. Next time would like to try their other drinks but pass on the coffee.

first time here was a really good experience! tried the RED espressos (made from roiboos tea) as i was trying to wean myself off my caffeine dependency, and they were delicious. the vegan chocolate cake was extremely good too, moist, not too sweet, and has slight hints of rosewater which made it really interesting.

Sit up and pay attention cafes of Fremantle (and Perth)! Hot chocolate is not a cup of warm milk with something vaguely sweet and brown lurking some place near the bottom. This place knows how it should be done. LARGE, warming, rich and delicious. It's sweet, but not too sweet. It's thick, but not too thick. It's hot, but not too hot. Their chocolate brownies are also a melty, squishy, crunchy delight. The staff are also very friendly and the service is quick. Just nice.

I came here early this morning. There were families with kids and people with dogs stopping to get coffee and a quick bite to eat. I decided to dine inside next the window to catch the warming sun. <br/>Staff were welcoming upon arrival and ordering is at the counter. There was a large list of blackboard drinks and the food is what you see at the counter; there is no food menu. It all looked good and fresh; I decided to go with the bacon, eggs and hollandaise bagel and a long Mac topped up. The bagel was toasted.<br/><br/>Coffee arrived quickly along with a dipping biscuit, and was good and strong. The bagel arrived soon after and looked good. Upon cutting into it there was not as much filling as I expected. It was tasty, but it would have been nicer to have a little more egg and sauce. <br/><br/>Will come back to try the brekkie wraps and some of the other goodies.

Oh. My. God. So glad I finally made it here. The most epic drinks list ever. Matcha, red espresso, chocolate, teas, cold pressed juices, smoothies (with peanut butter!), chai, dairy free milks (no extra charge), heaven. Food wise there is some more heaven. Chia pots, raw desserts, cakes, wraps, bagels, quiches, salads. I didn't look at a dine in menu. Wow. I will definitely be back. 0.5 off for unremarkable service ;) Outsoor seating and doggy friendly and super friendly customers too!

The PFEs were invited recently to check out cafes that use Di Bella coffee, coffee beans that are blended, roasted and distributed daily from their roasting warehouse in Brisbane. There were a number of cafes in the list to choose from and I decided on the Little Concept in Freo. It seemed like a chilled out specialty coffee shop looking through their facebook page. I’m in!

Coffee, juices and smoothies all amazing, and the food in the cabinet is always tasty. Sometimes the wait can be pretty long, though they do a high number of takeaways, so to be expected...

Had a great lunch here, it was super busy but service was impressively fast. I had a lovely matcha latte and a tandoori chicken wrap which was spicy and flavourful with roasted red capsicum, spinach and zucchini. The staff were friendly and very helpful, all-around a lovely lunch, I will definitely come back!

Love this place. Great choice of wholefood snacks and brekkies. I love the gf corn fritters. Next time will try the vegan chia breakfast pods.

I thought it was pretty average. The staff were friendly  and the food was ok . I think there is cheaper food and more comfortable cafes  in Freo. I had to ask for a clean cup, stained inside and dirty splashes on outside. Have never done that before.The girl  told me all cups stain and squirted hot water from coffee machine to clean?, Tea pot was grubby and not very big  juices ? $9. I probably should have ordered coffee!

A great little cafe with friendly staff and a good selection of drinks. I recently tried the red gingerbread latte which consists of a shot of rooibos, gingerbread flavoured syrup and milk. The taste reminded me of a chai latte and it was nice but a bit too sugary sweet for my liking. They don't have a menu that you order from, but they do have a selection of items like wraps, salads and muffins on the counter as well as things like chia puddings, CoYo and Bircher muesli from the fridge. Tried one of their chia puddings topped with nuts and seeds and enjoyed it.

What a great little hidden concept. Loads of healthy ideas and naughty treats too. The coffees are far from stingey - I ordered a Mug of Cino and golly gosh it was giant. Great service too, waitress popped out from behind the counter to greet me. Happy customer :)

The staff here are so friendly that you start to think you've actually met them before and you're a total assbutt for forgetting about it. At least you can drink one of their excellent coffees as you consider your assbuttery.

Friendly staff & Great selection of allergy friendly foods!. The Staff are extremely helpful, friendly and passionate. TLC have a great range of raw, allergy friendly and paleo treats to choose from which makes it easy being someone with dietaries. Their specialty drinks are unique and so delicious! I would defiantly reccomend this small, unique cafe.

I have been to a lot of cafes around Perth and this place ticks most boxes. Service is A1 with a welcoming greeting by the staff, the coffee is smooth & has a great after taste, food & other drink choices are healthy and ready to go & the location is handy except for parking. The owner has a hands on approach and comes across very passionate. Good to see with small business.

THE Best Coffee. Stopped for a quick coffee here this afternoon and had the most amazing cup of coffee I've had for a long time. It was strong, smooth and almost chocolatty - just fabulous.<br/><br/>I'll make this my coffee stop in Fremantle from now on! Next time I'll try the delicious looking food.

Fab coffee!. I've been to every cafe in Fremantle (really, it's taken me 8 years) and the coffee here ranks up with the highest. It's lovely and smooth. Service is also well above par for Fremantle, with a great vibe and clear attention to detail. My only wish is that there was more regular seating - the communal table is fine, but there's an awful lot of stool-seating. Then again, you don't go here to sit around, you go here for the great food and drinks!

Simply the best. The best Chai latte in Perth. This place is the bomb! Literally the best Chai latte I have ever experienced. Am quite a regular and often take friends who fall madly in love with it. <br/>The staff are so friendly and the food great. Never had a bad meal and price is reasonable. Love love love this place!

Always TLC first before work. I come here for a regular soy latte everyday before walking to work. They make the best coffee in the area. They also have the Red Espresso range and my favourite is the red gingerbread latte. I tried their Acai smoothie with granola for the first time last week and it was amazing! OMG...now I'm stuck with too many nice options at TLC. I often buy lunch here too. Their breakfast and tandoori chicken wraps are very tasty. They also have chicken and pumpkin wrap occasionally which is superb. The only salad that I've tried is the chickpea and pumpkin salad...so good! Bagels are lovely too. TLC makes waking up early and going to work a much more enjoyable process everyday :)

Absolutely adore this place!!. In love with their bircher muesli. Such a perfect serving and an even more perfect price! the flavours are awesome. I actually came on here to check what time you they open so I could possibly get there before work tomorrow, and now i've seen the acai smoothie with raw granola and am DYING to try it!! The only thing i would love to see is some sort of listing of the exact ingredients in your muesli or granola's (if you don't already, can't seem to see anything). Other than that, Love it!! Such a great place.

Delicious granola!. I adored their raw granola! They gave me a very generous serving with my açai smoothie and I was very pleased! It was absolutely delicious and I would totally recommend it!

Terrible service, terrible smoothie. Went Saturday about 2.30pm - waited 20 mins for a takeaway banana smoothie and when it finally arrived it tasted really bad and did not have a hint of banana. Very disappointed.<br/><br/>EDIT<br/>Owner, Michael, contacted me and offered me a free smoothie and coffee and some of the take home rooibos tea packages. It's really nice to see someone who cares so much about their business and offers such good service.

Fantastic little place!! Have been wanting to try this place out for a while & was not disappointed! Was personally greeted by the owner which was lovely & so unusual these days. Thoroughly enjoyed my coconut milk latte & will definitely be back! Love supporting local places like this especially when they offer healthy delicious food and drink!

Was so embarrassed!---but then Michael the owner helped me out. I thought I give this place a go and invited my gang out. Since it was a Sunday I decided to check if they were open. Checked their Facebook which says "open to 3pm" but when we got there at 1pm they told us they were closing up early and could only do Takeaway for next 10-15 mins. Did not felt welcomed at all! When we were deciding whether to order takeaway, they then told us they cannot do coffee since the machine is turned off. My gang didnt like that and walked off. Why post on Facebook about being open to 3 if you are closing at 1? Why not offer good service when there are 4 potential customers who could love your place and return? I know you want to close early but having a business mean taking into consideration of your customers! Will. not. return. And my friends said they will not return.<br/><br/>EDIT: Michael the owner contacted me and sorted everything out! I appreciate his initiative and customer service. Not many places would follow up on a customer (which is quite sad actually), this is why I cannot express how much I appreciate Michael for doing so. Went there a couple of days ago and love everything about the store and the staff. Thank goodness my partner and I gave it another try, since we both loved the place now!<br/><br/>WHAT WE ORDERED:<br/>Me: Mango Red Espresso tea (sweet but not overpowering. The Red espresso flavour is nice. Terrible service - go elsewhere. Attended by two schoolgirls. Waited at counter for them to finish their private chat before they would take my order for two coffees. The only other person in the cafe was a man waiting for three takeaway coffees - not busy.<br/>Waited for 15 minutes, watching later arrivals get served their takeaways, and the girls share another private chat with a visiting friend. Decided that was long enough, so cancelled the order. Girl operating coffee machine (I cannot call her a barista) was rude.<br/>Went over the road to Vanilla Bean, where we were served excellent coffee in 5 minutes, despite the cafe being busy. We have no association with Vanilla Bean or any other cafe - we also like Ootong and Lincoln, Tropicana, Lumos and many others. We also don't like Blinco street or Mugshots.

Worst coffee and service. First and only time i ever set foot in place, the coffee was absolute garbage which matched the service. Perth is known for poor CS but this was next level.<br/><br/>forget this place, plenty of other better places in freo.

Little concept, big win!. Tried out The Little Concept today and was very impressed! Huge variety of drinks and lots of iced choices- perfect for this hot weather! Peanut butter iced chocolate was amazing, as well as the iced chai. Their Prana chai is just perfect, nothing like the sweet syrup crap you find in most places. Nut milk options are readily available which is usually hard to find in Perth! Almond milk mmm... Big selection of raw treats from three different local suppliers, also a small range of homemade wraps and savoury choices. Michael the owner was lovely and happy to have a chat- he even offered us some samples of Red Espresso (tasted so great!) Will definitely be back here soon, if only I lived closer!

Really nice food and I really like the staff, very nice and helpful

I had high hopes for this place as it was recommended by a friend with a business in the area. Coffee was only average with the cup being tiny for the price. I also tried one of the raw desserts on offer very expensive for a tiny rectangle of chocolatey stuff felt like gravel in my mouth. Service was ok although everyone seemed kind of grumpy, the hipster guy making the coffee really needs to work on his people skills.

Different, not same same. Absolute pleasure to check this little place out. The raw cheesecake I tried was fresh & delicious; and after not being able to choose from all the coffees, teas, hot chocolates, chai's etc etc we were given a taste of a selection when we ordered our chai's. Great idea & the sign of someone who knows how to build a business. My only whinge is that I work in Subi and can't get to Freo during the week otherwise would be a regular as I'm tired of the same same around town!

Lovely Concept. Came here for brekky recently and it was excellent!<br/>Toasted ham and cheese croissant and chia pudding were both delightful. Coffee was sooooo good, we had to take away an additional cup, whilst the chai latte was flavoursome without being cloyingly sweet (tho it could have been served a tad bit hotter). Staff were really friendly too - what a bonus.

We had been wanting to try the little concept ever since it had opened and we were not disappointed! Great coffee (latte and iced mocha), good food and service! It's nice for a change in Perth to go some where your acknowledged when you walk in! It's also good to go somewhere they do everything they have well rather then having to much on a menu that they don't do well at all. Will definately be my new favorite!

Have been meaning to try this place out and finally made my way there yesterday. Lovely cafe, even better tea. Love the chai and tried the red cap too- unusual but delicious! Nice to see a cafe owner so passionate about their products. Unique store, nice vibe, will def be back.

Amazing. I love this place, the only downside is that it has ruined my pledge not to get coffee out everyday. It's my new local, the coffee is delicious, they stock Rawsome which is so yummy and the staff are very friendly, it's just impossible not to visit.

Big Ups for a little concept. I love the fact that this funky little cafe DOESN'T have the same offerings as every other cafe in perth. This place is hell bent on providing a variety of new, tastebud tingling and new age products and they have certainly provided! We have had normal coffees ( delish) and tried out their new offering of RED coffees ( a must try! ) , customer service is second to none and you are warmly welcome from the first step in the door. Their RAWSOME products are so yummy I am always tempted to buy another treat to eat on the way home. Do yourself a favour and check these guys out.

Great coffee, great addition to Freo/Sth Freo. Public holiday, everything else closed....so ended up here by accident. What a little gem! Lovely staff, superb!!!! coffee, and that's with two other excellent places on the closest corner (vanilla bean, who's your mumma) to compare. Do yourself a favour...they will just get more popular and busy with it...at the moment the vibe is coolest Melbourne Chapel St. So good.

I was a customer of some of the other cafes near it and they dont stack up to this place. Coffee is awesome as is Chai and it is not the powdered poor excuse for chai. Food is beinv worked on so give it time.

When we arrived we were quickly drawn to their cabinet of sandwiches and slices and after a quick browse we settled on ordering a range of sandwiches, yogurts and chia dishes along with juices and coffees before settling in at one of their tables for a catch up chat. I ordered the toasted BLAT (bacon, lettuce, avocado and tomato) along with a red espresso white mocha and an apple juice. The juices here received a big thumbs up from our entire group with Miss L and Miss M quickly ordering a juice after seeing mine. Miss L ordered the yoghurt and chia dishes of which she enjoyed both, and Miss M ordered a sandwich which I did not get a picture off as it was devoured very quickly and well enjoyed.

After spending a morning in the Little Concept, I was able to experience a different philosophy and vision that is rarely embodied world of hospitality. The cafe's lively and passionate spirit is a wonderful thing to experience, as is their unique supply of Mörk Chocolate, Prana Chai and Red Espresso.
