Review Suku - Fremantle

Kagumi Parasya
A nice place for lunch after shopping at Freo Market. Came here a few times and finally found my most favorite dish, batagor. This batagor tastes exactly the same like batagor in Indonesia. The crunch and peanut sauce, they're perfect! Nasi Bali come second and nasi rendang is the third for me.

The Suku team has some amazing food that you can’t find anywhere else in Perth. Their new location is cozy and has a great atmosphere. Their popular Nasi Bali is a must try and consistently great throughout each visit. Their special Iga Bakar is truly next level, we really hope they bring their special back as it is simply top notch 🤤

Had dinner there and I enjoyed the Beef Rendang and a Chendol. The shop is in the Fomo Center. Great little shop with some excellent staff. The guy manning the till has a great manner and dealt with customers well. We talked up the chendol and I like a good chendol. So the chendol came out first. It was made with ice cubes which is a bad start but the coconut, gula (palm sugar) and pandan jelly was all excellent. It did miss the red beans too so overall it was ok. 3/5 The Rendang was brilliant. Good portions hot full of flavour. That was a cracker 5/5. So it averages out with a 4. Definitely going back!

Portion is now a bit small for the $$$ but still retains the lovely flavours that we all love. Sate Lilit is super lit 😏 and Tempe Mendoan is still my favourite dish here! Picture is the crowd favourite Nasi Bali, sambal has a nice kick to it and the chicken slices are delightfully marinated. Definitely coming back for more!

I haven't had Balinese food for awhile. I am glad I have found this place. I love all the food and drink we order.
