Review Silk Cafe - Fyshwick

Read really good things about this cafe and wanted to try it out as we were in the area. Overall alright service, good food, although $20 for a lettuce and 3 peices of tomato salad was a bit unreasonable. The chicken tasted great and the dressing was too but as an overall dish and for that price, would look elsewhere. Orange juice was amazing though 🙂

Lovely place with indoor and outdoor seating. Laid back cafe catering to many tastes. Best scrambled eggs (on toasted sour dough) I've ever had. Both other meals ordered very well received. Friendly staff eager to please. Definitely recommend.

Good selection of coffees, breakfast and lunch options. Friendly staff and attentive service. Reasonable prices and decent serving sizes. Overall, still delicious and will be going back when I'm in the area. Definitely a hidden gem that you wouldn't expect to find in Fyshwick.

When in Fyshwick I usually stop here for morning tea. A busy, well run cafe and the coffee is good.

What a lovely cafe. I've visited once before and as soon as I walked in the owner remembered me! Was really lovely! I had the chicken caesar salad and it was so good! Highly recommend Silk!!

Very friendly staff and the best salt and pepper squid I have ever tasted.

Ordered the warm chicken salad. It came with a green rubber band. Told the staff, she said “oh, is there anymore in there? It’s probably off the spinach”. No apology... won’t return...

Was recommended this cafe by the Jax Tyre people.....wasn't disappointed!!! Coffee and service was fantasic Would drive from otherside of Canberra to enjoy this cafe.....was nice to be greeted with a smile and made feel that my visit was welcome
