Absolutely love Java Hut, perfect for breakfast, brunch, quick coffee catch up. Anything! Food is amazing, whether you prefer savoury or have a sweet tooth, Java Hut will not disappoint. Pancakes are always a hit, definitely recommend!
Staff were lovely and went out of their way to help me out. Delicious food and a great range. Very reasonably priced, would highly recommend!
So worth the drive out there, amazing food, amazing service. Do yourself a favour and go get yourself their amazing pancakes. They are so fluffy with out being dry and heavy.
The food and service is lovely here. It is a super busy cafe and they sell all sorts of delicious goodies from all day brekkie to pancakes and hot dogs etc. Lots of filling food for a decent price.

Love the Java Hut for a big decent feed 👍 I havent tried the light meals/main meals but have been for the all day breakfast multiple times and it's always been great.

100 percent my favourite place to eat breakfast for the last 5 years! It’s cheap, the food is awesome and the staff are amazing. Anyone who is from this area knows this is the place to eat. It gets super busy on weekends so make sure you book. Order the teeka or the big breakfast. Meals are HUGE.. I eat here every week and I’m never disappointed. Maybe one day I’ll get a photo before I inhale my pancakes. Try it please if it’s the last thing you do..

Been coming here for roughly 9 years and the food is always great, with great prices! The staff are friendly, and are always willing to accommodate changes to the meals.

The food is delicious here. They make their own hash browns. They also have vegan options. Their coffee is good to wash down your pancakes. This places gets very busy so I'd recommend booking.
The serving sizes are huge! Definitely value for money and I loved the iced chocolates so much I got two! A sweet country town cafe. Decor could do with an update but that's a minor complaint
Great family friendly food hut!! Affordable prices, catering for individual needs e.g. lactose intolerant, gluten free. My family love the food and the service. Especially love the fact that you never have to wait long for your meal. Menu is outstanding and extensive for the times the Hut is opens and closes. I have also experience deep understanding on special occasions and outstanding customer service, the team really go out on a limb to server you well. The team vs menu prices are perfectly balanced. Thank you over all we keep coming back and have moved from Gawler to Norwood City. See you there soon!
Absolute favourite place to get breakfast. Very reasonable prices and generous servings. Staff are extremely friendly and the environment is refreshing. Always love a megacinno.
Nice little cafe for a quick coffee or filling breakfast/brunch/lunch! Service is quick and friendly, while the food items in the menu are reasonably priced. I would recommend this place and would definitely come back.

Friendly atmosphere and the serving sizes were MASSIVE. The breakfast was amazing but the burger was apparently tasteless that concentrated too much on presentation and not much on flavour when they tried to cram too many ingredients into one burger. Will definitely be back for their all day breakfast and great service though!
It was during school holidays when there were no activities on, and it was early on a Saturday morning. And a bit fresh!. I wanted to visit the Gawler Farmer’s Market, which runs every Saturday from 8am to 12pm in the Gawler Visitor Information Centre car park, just off Lyndoch and Murray Streets.

Best pancake place around!! Best value for money, lovely service, nice space and delicious feed in the heart of Gawler! 'Teeka' and 'Tookie' are my faves by far! Great milkshakes and love that they do teapot tea. Also if u live or wrk in the area they deliver too- have had many a Sunday morning Java delivered 2me at the Old Spot hotel before it was the Golden Fleece 😀

Always great food and the best value for money in Adelaide! Breakfast is great, lunches are great. Can get very busy on weekends so it is a good idea to call up and make a booking.

Awesome Brekkie. I don't know of too many places where you can get a full English (and its pretty big) for $10. Not only is the deal good, the foods good, the staff and service are great, oh, and they do lots more great meals too.

Gem in the middle of Gawler. We found this place when we were driving around Gawler looking for breakfast a couple of weeks ago. The 'Big Breakfast' for under $10 caught our eye as my friend always has that when it's on offer.
It's been interesting comparing the different ideas of what a big breakfast is. The Java Hut did not let us down. There was no half a sausage sitting forlorn wondering what happened to it's mate. The servings were generous.
My own pancakes were tasty and cooked to perfection.
Today, we thought we'd go in and try the lunch menu (despite the fact their breakfast menu goes all day.) I opted for the savoury crepes. Hours later my taste buds are still thanking me.
The only thing wrong was once again I forgot to ask for the entree size so it was a little too much for me. I took one bite of the salad and closed my eyes to savour it. I haven't had a salad that fresh in quite a while.
The customer service was great. Always friendly and full of smiles.
But the prices here... amazing. Highly recommend it to anyone who just wants good food for a good price in a good atmosphere.
It's a great place to stop for breakfast on your way out to the Barossa, or on the way home from a day out wine tasting.
In our travels we've been to many places trying them all out. The Java Hut is the only place we've been back to twice.

Great value, great service, just needs a polish.. The Java Hut is one of those places you just can't help but love.
I first experienced it for breakfast one Sunday morning. The value for money was astounding. Big meals, beautifully cooked, friendly service and so CHEAP.
I honestly don't know how they do it, the food is excellent value.
It's a small place, but the tables are well spaced out so you're not crawling over other diners every time you move. On the two occasions I've visited, there have been plenty of servers... I don't think today's compliment had a person over 25!
There is a kind of charm to the hideous decorations (what is with those brass monkeys?), but the kitchen is open to the dining area and the bright stainless steel gives a feeling of cleanliness and professionalism.
The plastic coated menus are worn and tired. But the tables and chairs are neat and clean.
The food is glorious. Each meal I've had has been cooked perfectly, beautifully seasoned and the serves are plentiful. I enjoyed a beef parmi special today, and the salad was fresh and the sauce tangy and delicious. Ignore the weird modern art and the clock from a Tim Burton movie, and nosh down!
Negatives? The main point is one that many resturants seem to suffer from, lack of proper cleaning in the dining area.
While I was dining, the floor was swept, but only in the walking areas. From where I was sitting, under a table near the back of the room, I could see a large stray chip that wasn't seen. When you clean, you need to check under empty tables. A family sat at the table while I was there, and I know (had it been me) I would have been grossed out by old food being under my feet.
Another indicator of the laxity of the cleaning schedule is small ledges like power points. The build-up of dust is clearly visible, like a black shroud. This shows a lack of care - it only takes a wipe with a damp cloth to keep things presentable, but the heavy layer of filth showed this hadn't been done for months at least.
The spotless kitchen showed this was an oversight, and not indicative of a larger problem - but still, giving the dining area a good going over once a week should be routine.
Country town charm, great meals and friendly service. I'll be back again, worth the drive for sure.
Okay so I haven't been in a while because the toast they used was thin toast and I love a good thick toast. I returned on the weekend to take mum out for brekky and well.... they changed the toast to thick toast. I am so happy and I am obsessed. Java hut is my favourite breakfast place, they have the most decent breakfast prices out of all the places I've been to. They also have a great range of alternative milks and I really enjoy the food. The picture below shows the Veggie Breakfast, it was only $12!!! I added the bearnaise sauce for an additional $2! Such a big yummy breakfast for only 14 dollars. Gawler is 20 minute drive from me and it is worth the drive ! Best value place in Adelaide!!!!

The Java Hut is home to the greatest breakfast and brunch foods there is, with a variety of choices. Every time I go here it takes me 20 minutes just to decide what I will order. It has delightful customer service and a beautiful interior. They also offer vegan and gluten-free options.
Love the Java Hut! My go to place to eat in Gawler.
Ordered the banana waffles and the big breakfast and they were great. I liked the option of being able to have an entree or main sized meal.

Great ambiance and service. Had an all day breakfast and it was brilliant. My wife had eggs Benedict which was duly enjoyed. The service was very prompt and professional. The coffee was hot and delightful. Thanks to the staff.
I'm amazed about the size of the big breakfast & mega big. Really good value. They make really good Iced Mocca, too, with ice cream, not cube. Friendly staff. Would recommend.

Great spot for an all day breakfast. Superb cook and quality of produce. Have never (and that's a bold claim) been disappointed in either service or meals.
