Still Operational for take always and deliveries during these Unprecedented times. Heritage Restaurant operational for decades. Keep it going. Great Food.
The food is really good and fresh. plus it's always hot when you get the food no matter if it's at the restaurant or if you get takeaway from the restaurant. Staff are always friendly and polite as well. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is from geelong area or a tourist. The only problem is that where it's located. It's a bit of a walk from geelong central business district. but if you want a place to enjoy a nice meal. Then I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
The wait staff are always friendly and attentive to your table and order. The food is incredible, the Singapore Noodles are to die for. Nice atmosphere. Definitely a regular here now, for dine in and takeaway.
Cheap and Cheerful.
Good for basic Chinese food that fills the stomach with friendly and efficient service. The meals are a bit light on meat though (especially compared with other Chinese restaurants) but everything is fresh and tasty.
You will be fine if you stick to the Chinese food as the Vietnamese food was below average (I guess you can't be good at all cuisines!)
One of those dependable local Chinese restaurants. I get takeaway pretty much every week or second week and never disappointed. The menu is so huge you never run out of things to try. I like the Mongolian beef, spicy salt squid, and crispy beef in plum sauce if I feel like something naughty.
On my way back with the family from Great Ocean Road and stopped by Geelong for dinner. Restaurant is small and cozy with a pretty traditional setting. Service was brilliant, the lady boss was very friendly, and the food was amazing.
Cute little Chinese restaurant in centre of town. Typical menu, but I really liked the hokkien fried noodles, and the garlic prawns were amazing but be prepared for major garlic breath, it's worth it ;p
Best chicken and sweet corn soup. Spicy salt squid and west lake duck is also amazing!
Really enjoyed the night! .... Really enjoyed the night!
Great food, nice waitresses and good company...what more could I ask for.
Be back for a Roast Duck soon....
Good, tasty Chinese. Went on a Wednesday night, and there were a handful of tables but not too busy. Good pricing, menu maybe a little too big. But food was really good albeit westernized Chinese. Loved the spicy salt squid, totally go back just for that dish! Garlic prawns were amazing, and my friends liked the sweet and sour, even though I don't normally eat that sort of Chinese. Definitely come back again.
Attentive service. Thought we would give this a try since we wanted Chinese and were really hungry. We were surprised by the great service and generous portions. The food was average and I've eaten a lot worse. The place was clean and showed well despite the dim lighting. Would definitely eat here again.
Absolutely fantastic. As good or better than most restaurants charging double the price.
This is the cutest, most underrated little restaurant! The meals were beautiful, the service was top notch, and the restaurant itself is just gorgeous! Very traditionally decorated, with a cosy and friendly atmosphere. The waiter was lovely, very happy to offer help and so friendly. I'll definitely be returning, highly recommend this place!
Surprise visit as we arrived late and many restaurants were closed. Thank goodness this happened as we had the most delightful evening. Great food - 5 yummy dishes, lovely local wine and then as everyone left the owner, Jackie sat down at our table and a lively, interesting conversation ensued. Thanks Jackie. We'll be back when we're in Geelong next.
came here for my 18th birthday, the service they provided was phenomenal, the food came out hot, fresh and well presented.
would definitely recommend this place if you’re after affordable and delicious food!!
the waiter was polite and very well mannered.
Will definitely be a returning customer😃
We ordered takeaway over the phone. The gentleman was very courteous. I advised that my daughter had sesame and peanut allergies and avoided ordering anything with those items. He rang back 2 minutes later to advise that the won ton mix had sesame oil. We were impressed that he took the time to check that and it saved us from what could have been a terrible situation. The garlic prawn dish was generous and well cooked. Their service was very quick and I would definitely order from Mei Ling again.
Delicious meals just like it was 40 years ago..still a lovely family restaurant ..I went there when I was young and we now dine with my adult family .
This is a difficult place for me to review as this is not a cuisine that I particularly like, but I didn't choose the venue.
This is one of the old style Chinese restaurants with the old style menu.
The waitress was nice but struggled with her English and as a result, we got extra food we didn't order.
The food was exactly what I expected.
The portions were generous and came promptly. If you like old style Chinese cooking this place would suit you well.
Fantastic place. Food was amazing. Staff very friendly and helpful
