Review The Coffee Emporium - Geelong

Coffee isn't bad here. I rate this place for it's location. Getting a seat with a view down the road towards the waterfront is nice. Haven't had any issues like some others on here.

Lackluster experience, always poor service. Croissants were old, very expensive also, coffee was weak. Could get a similar experience for half the cost at a petrol station

The worst customer service ever experienced. On asking for if I can order, I get an awful reply and curse words , with no manners at all. I hope this place hires some good staff with basic etiquettes. Thank you .

16 dollar Halloumi and beetroot had 4 pieces of Halloumi and 4 pieces of beetroot. Only other aspect of salads was greens. No grains as described. Very small portion

Place not busy today Tuesday 10/8/ 2021 2. 35 pm Stood around whilst awaiting order. Finally got served owner sitting around not serving. Feel he has lost a bit of interest. Chino was very average place is lacking quality use to go there regularly not any more.

Absolutely shocking service . Waited 25mins for an ice coffee and a latte with a yo yo biscuit. Only 6 customers in coffee bar . Had to ask where our coffee was after 25mins to be greeted by "Iam on my own mate " 2 other workers in background seem to be doing very little. Eventually got our drinks slammed on table but without the yo yo . Had to ask again where is the yo yo. Tall arrogant guy no service skills . No wonder the opposite coffee bar was busy. Would not recommend this coffee shop to anyone. Service shocking . Eremployee's

Things you need to change as a business owner - Staff - please train them as they need to understand what customer service is. Alternative milks - have a variety of alternative milks that the other cafes are using, for example, milklab and bonsoy. This will help make your coffee taste better when using alternative milk. Extra 50c - if you are using supermarket brand milk such as vitasoy which is not a barista specific milk, please don’t charge the extra 50c as this is a ripoff for a badly made coffee. I hope you can take the above into consideration and change your business model.
