Review Gerringong Bakery & Cafe - Gerringong

I have recently tried a Vietnamese roll from the bakery. The bread tasted like an industrial bread. I had the exact same feeling when a few months ago for my previous purchase. I grew up in France and my expectations are likely to be higher than the average Joe.

After my awful experience at another bakery earlier today, I asked if we could drop in here to try and redeem our baked goods tribulations. Worth it. Pleasant service, lovely tasting pie, quality hot chocolate and a warm shop to wait in. Nothing has made my day more.

The food was great in flavour & quality. Value for money more than what people can ask for. While travelling it's well worth the time to rest with a great meal. Gerringong bakery & Cafe.

Coffee was okay, pastries were a little bit disappointing and I read a few good reviews and Probably I expected too much?! Not very friendly staff so I am not keen to visit again.

Lots of tasty treats and the Traditional Bacon and Egg roll has a fantastic veggie option. Halloumi, Egg served with Lynwood Chilli Jam

Since being taken over the food and the staff have gone down hill. How it won an award for its pies baffles me ???

A busy little cafe yet staff were very friendly and super efficient. We had brunch which was fresh and tasty. We will be back and recommend to others as the go to bakery/cafe.

Oh my goodness this place is a a MUST DO if you're in town. The delicious cakes and slices are amazing. The French Vanilla Slices are to die for and all very very reasonable prices 😊. The staff are lovely too 😊

We stumbled across the bakery recently.. A quick, affordable lunch was what we needed.. ( parking outside is very restricted times).. Great variety, quick service, yummy milk shake ... We had a pie and a hamburger - both delicious .., can't wait to visit again

Had morning tea and lunch there today with scott. Food was great and staff were very friendly, especially when I spilt my drink on scott. Oops.

This place is legend.Always an early pitstop for a coffee and a sticky bun,on long trips to Eden.

The best bakery on the south coast, would travel from Sydney for a beautiful drive and get a pie & the cafe is always nice & fresh

Have gone there for yrs as always holiday down South but today very disappointed as I asked for a salad wrap. It did have salad but it also had coleslaw which is cabbage known to me as a vegetable. Needless to say I do not like coleslaw or dressings. I did let them know they should ask people so hopefully they do as it is a shame I did not enjoy the food.

We always have breakfast at Gerringong bakery when we visit Gerringong and we usually bring home some of Jocks cakes and pies.

Great coffee, friendly staff and the BEST gingerbread men on the South Coast. Only problem I have is that there is always TOO much to choose from, I want it all!

I went to the Bakery today to get my bread, they were out of sliced white but had some uncut loaves, they were too lazy to slice a loaf for me, they were too busy with the tourists!! I used to buy my bread there all year, will now go to the supermarket!!

Gerringong would not be the same without this bakery!!!
