Review Perfect Break Vegetarian Cafe - Gerringong

This plant-based café has left the best impressions!!! The owners are incredibly friendly and go out of their way for you to have the best experience. We were staying the area for a few days and had to keep going back, the food was delicious. Fresh, beautiful flavours, large portions and it was obvious the owners had a great deal of experience in developing and serving plant-based meals that are full of flavour. My husband is not plant based and he was blown away by the meals. Each meal was mouth-watering, coffee and chai are excellent and the desserts WOW. The only thing that I am disappointed about is there is not a “I Feel Good Café” in every city in Australia. An absolute must!!!!!

Great place, really nice outdoor setup. The street can get a little bit busy but the whole area is just so nice. We had the vegeburger and burrito bowl for lunch. Both absolutely delicious, hearty and quite well presented. Definitely worth a visit again when we’re heading down to the south coast next.

We missed out on having lunch at the I feel good cafe today and was very disappointed as kitchen closed early and we drove a decent drive to enjoy and staff possibly could of handled better. On the other hand the owners have explained the dilemma and I am happy with response and look forward to a chance down the track when we can escape and enjoy some great I feel good food. Thanks Roo for taking time to explain. I’m a fussy little eater so sending me elsewhere was disappointing.

Tasty healthy food. Nice little outdoor area. Fresh juices are really nice.

I’ve been here a few times now and it’s a really great concept I love to see more vegetarian/ vegan cafes popping up everywhere but it’s not just a trend and its not worth it for disappointing and overpriced vegan options.. the baked goods are very underwhelming and I’ve tried several different options. I’ve given this place a few too many goes but sadly won’t be returning anymore.

Fantastic little cafe with awesome food/drinks.. it’s the first place I’ve found that have a decent variety of vegan options as well as vego, would definitely recommend!

Not stoaked about the 40 min wait on a Sunday, and gluten free bread tasted like a stale baguette. Loved the avo and feta / cashew topping tho!

Very bland tofu burger No chips on menu for kids And finally can't understand why vegans need to pay the same amount for a dish when you're removing several of the ingredients. Seriously, just buy some biocheese from Coles or Woolies and make it fair ���

Nachos are unreal ! And the Staff are extremely friendly.

Food was good but the service leaves a little to be desired. Whilst sitting and eating we could hear the customers ordering only to hear a staff member mimic them and putting them down to other staff! As a first time visitor I won't be back for this reason. The staff need to remember that what is said in the kitchen echoes straight down thru the cafe so I'm sure the people could hear her mimic them!!!

Ordered Nachos, waited 40mins nothing came out, went in to see where my food was, they had forgot all about it, didn't really get a sorry, I asked for my money back but then they couldn't find the docket so I had to find the transaction on my bank account to show I paid for it for them to give my money back.... Totally disgusted in the service, won't be going back there again
