Good food, good service and quick on a busy day. The Collective was nearly packed, but we didn’t wait long to be seated and our food was prompt. The garlic pizza side is huge and can be split between two or more people.

The wood fired pizza is better during lunch time, maybe the chef is different at night time. I loved the risotto, it was properly cooked and not runny with water. The rib eye was average comp

I came in on Wednesday night (literally the night before lock down!) and I ordered a steak and sticky date pudding with a soy latte.

It was nice! One of the better breakfasts in gisborne. Pizza is ok too, but nothing to write home about.
Quite a noisy room, the troubles of a cross functional space.
Okay overall experience. Chairs arent too comfortable, food is slightly overpriced but prepared well. Wood oven pizzas were nice but I ordered extra cheese and didn't get any.
