Jed is brilliant, the staff are really great, the coffee is amazing and the food is spot on. It helps that I'm a vegan and there are options for me but I would eat there even if I wasn't. Love love love Jed

What an absolute surprise! Went for lunch yesterday with my daughter and just loved it! Had the Jed's Breaky Bowl (I think that's what it was called) and just adored it! Beautiful pulled beef, sweet potato hash, veggies and a poached egg. It was so so delicious and such a generous serve. Enjoyed it with a kombucha and followed it with a slice of orange almond cake which was a pleasure in itself! Service was fantastic, the staff all very friendly. Will be back again!!

1st visit today. I had butter chicken with cauli rice & roti. Yummo. Hubby had braised lamb with raw cauli & pomegranate. He wasn't sure about the raw cauli but it tasted fantastic. Better than cooked cauli he said. Both delicious paleo meals. Great coffee & fantastic service. Great atmosphere. A new find for us. We will return

I had seen a review on the food here and my mouth was watering for the vegan gf blueberry pancakes. They surpassed my expectations, they were INCREDIBLE! The serving was very generous and the presentation was beautiful. I will definitely be back and will be recommending this place to anyone visiting the area <3

Enjoyed lunch yesterday at this venue for a Valentine's Day treat & were most impressed with the menu including gluten free options. The food we chose was reasonably priced & prepared with care. Elected to sit outside as the music inside was far too loud & not conducive to a relaxed lunch. There was only a short wait for service & the staff were professional & friendly.

You little ripper! This place is just amazing. I've loved their coffee for ages but finish got to try the food and I was blown away. The cafe is on cosy side offering a charming experience with limited seating however you are in for treat when you order some food and a delicious coffee to compliment it. The staff are friendly and prices are reasonable

Loved the vegan pancakes with coconut ice cream - and I'm not usually a pancake kinda girl! Loads of other fresh and healthy things on the menu for when you want to have a little bit of diet cheat day too

Jed's is great for breakfast, I had a wonderful bacon and eggs, and a nice chocolate milkshake. But let me take a moment to review the overall feel and atmosphere... Gisborne is a great town to spend the morning in. It's not too far out of the city, but it's far enough that it retains the "country town" vibes, with a small pinch of hipster thrown in. That's what Jed's feels like, a small piece of Brunswick without the traffic and horrible parking.

The best coffee combined with delicious food with many vegan & gluten free options. Staff are courteous and friendly. And as a bonus it is situated near pleasant parks if you feel like going for a walk. Perfection.

Jed has an amazing menu - the Green Bowl and Buddha Bowl were both fantastic! There are plenty of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options, as well as DF and GF cakes and muffins. They also have really great coffee, with almond and coconut milk if you're feeling adventurous!
