THE BEST coffee I’ve had in Sydney. You can tell they take it seriously, and the fact that you can choose from house blends is amazing. I love that they serve ONA.
The food was also incredible - beautiful presentation, premium ingredients, and so tasty! Highly recommend this hidden gem 😍
We came here for a quick late breakfast and we were pleasantly surprised by the service, food and drinks. I ordered the taro latte which was smooth, creamy and legit tasted like taro. We ordered the chicken schnitzel sandwich and the veggie roll which were both delicious and had great fillings.
What a wonderful discovery, which was recommended by a friend. The Chilli Scrambled Eggs on Croissant was superb! The perfect fluffy scrambled eggs you get at top hotels, and a genuine crumbly croissant with just the right amount of warm chilli, smashed avo and onion flakes. Yummy!!!!!! Just gorgeously presented pressed juices and frappes. I should have taken pictures. And the coffee... oh my!
There were so many interesting options, that I definitely have to return to savour.
Located on Victoria Road in Gladesville, Cafe Elation is a real local community gem. It’s a small cafe that is just off the main road (it’s fairly easy to miss actually), and we found it busy with families on a wet and dreary Sunday morning. We chose Cafe Elation based on the ratings we found online, and in need of a feed we made our way to Gladesville - I am so glad we did!
Cute cafe with nice fusion food and friendly service. It has outside seating too. Definitely worth to check out. Would like to come again and try other items on the menu.
Delicious weekend brunch, Asian fusion flavours were fantastic. Service was quick and friendly. Definitely want to go back to try the other items. However the tumeric golden latte was on the light side.
Very friendly and super quick service. The food was serves so quick that it was shocking and we had no time to savour our coffees. Better than waiting though!
The food is really well presented and the flavours are great. We ordered the chilli scrambled eggs on croissant and the smashes avo. Both great, but that's all that really jumped out on the menu to us as stand outs.
The coffees were good - you have two blends to choose from which is a nice offering.
A bit of parking around on side streets. Being located on the main road, there is a bit of road noise from the main road.
Cafe Elation are delivering a large range of Asian fusion dishes, offering beautiful plating, exceptional flavours and service with a smile

I am so impressed, with everything. The drinks were amazing, the food is outstanding. The flavours are unique and full of umami with a Japanese edge. It is amazing.
Gorgeous café along Victoria Rd serving up the most amazing Asian fusion dishes. Pet friendly too so you can bring your fur babies with you or admire everyone else’s!
Tried an assortment of dishes including the Eel & Egg, California Toast with Poached Egg, Pork Belly Poke Bowl, and Nasu Dengaku special. Drinks included the Blue Candy Latte, Thai Milk Tea, Taro Latte and Green Tea Latte.
Eel is probably one of the most understated proteins around but easily one of the most versatile and exciting to work with. Absolutely loved the presentation and flavours in the Eel & Egg dish and would highly recommend to those who want to try something out of the box. California Toast with Poached Egg was as always a tasty café staple. Clean and simple presentation, a little more of a tame dish. The Pork Belly Poke Bowl was vibrant and colourful. A fresh and healthy meal, really on trend at the moment. Word of advice, get in quick if you want to try the specials because they sell out fast. I was lucky enough to try the Nasu Dengaku and oh my goodness it was bliss. The dish was artfully plated and especially memorable for me because of the Pork floss strung on top. I’d never seen pork floss on a menu and was dumbfounded by the fast that it wasn’t been used more often after tasting this dish. Excellent flavour and thoughtful composition.
Drinks were adorable with the most beautiful pastel pink, purple, green and blue colour. The Blue Candy Latte was my favourite - tasted like Bubblegum!

My thanks to Café Elation for the invite.
Love the Asian fusion menu here, the dishes are so unique and the flavours work so well together. The matcha french toast is a must order! They also have a wide variety of aesthetic and tasty drinks. Would definitely revisit for their different monthly specials
Pros:
- Good service and good coffee
- Good selection of special lattes for fad chasers
- Creative menu (Asian fusion)
- Food was nice (7/10)
Cons:
- Not very spacious
Have seen too many mouthwatering photos on Instagram so I decided to give Elation a go with a bunch of friends. We ordered 3 drinks and most of their signature dishes.
Iced thai milk tea and iced taro latte looked very colourful and adorable but the flavours could have been more pronounced.
Rassy lime lemon bitters was another eye candy and it was very refreshing. Totally took me to heaven with its fizziness and fruity tanginess.
Pork belly poke bowl was a healthier version of your regular bibimbap, where white rice was replaced by brown rice and quinoa. You would definitely love this dish if you are a fan of Korean food. And man that gochujang was so moreish! A great balance of sweet and spicy flavours, it complemented other ingredients very well but probably the pork and veggies needed a tiny bit of seasoning or they would be bland when the sauce is finished.
Both the flavours and presentation of chilli scrambled eggs on croissant were on point. It tasted rather ordinary as it lacked this wow factor. Probably could include some sausages or bacon bits for some extra saltiness and depth.
Honestly I don’t know how a good banh xeo tastes like but I liked this one very much. Shrimps, bean sprouts, pork and shallots on pancake was just awesome. A whole lot of flavours and textures going on but everything went well together.
Always loved unagi don (eel on rice) and this eel and egg was their take on this Japanese staple. Nicely charred eel, crispy seaweed and fluffy omelette made this a crowd pleaser. Didn’t want to share this with my friends and I bet they all felt the same.
Matcha french toast was the bomb! The bread was moist, fluffy and full of matcha flavour yet not too sweet. With extra matcha syrup and fresh fruits, it easily became our favourite dish of the meal.
Overall a very cozy little cafe serving real good food. Definitely pay a visit if you are in the area.
I had an amazing Easter brunch here on a double date! We ordered a lot of eggcentric dishes and thoroughly enjoyed the Asian fusion and vibrant flavours in all of them!
We ordered the following dishes: beef katsu sando, pumpkin bruschetta, earth red bowl, matcha French toast and California toast. Each dish had a twist on their classic version and it made for a very satisfying meal and we all left with our bellies full and big smiles on our faces! I definitely recommend this place as it has an extensive menu, exceptionally friendly staff and such an enticing variety of flavours! #lasaanyasips
The food here is pretty smashing. Beautifully presented, great fusion of the East (Japanese) & West for some interesting creations. Loved my Matcha French Toast, great matcha taste through the bread itself. Not overly powering, nor too sweet, good balance & textures. My friend also loved their orders of pumpkin bruschetta & California Toast. You can also get a latte in almost every colour of the rainbow. My golden latte with turmeric was a little weak in the coffee taste, I didn’t mind the turmeric though. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.
If you're looking for a great Asian fusion brunch joint, look no further. You've got a mix of everything - Vietnamese, Japanese, Malaysian, Nepalese, and I'm sure there's more that'll please pretty much anyone. My personal favourite was the matcha French toast. Strong matcha flavour and presented beautifully!
Just moved to Gladesville and discovered this amazing place! They have an amazing coffee, ONA beans.
For food, a menu with Australian and Asian fusion it is full of incredible options. I’ve tried the Matcha French Toast and their new drink: Open Sesame, a delicious mix of sesame with chocolate, perfect for the winter.
The place is cozy and cute, and their staff is super friendly! I’m definitely going back to try everything in the menu!
Great cafe in Gladesville with indoor and outdoor seating.
The fusions they come up with are super creative and the flavours that come out of the kitchen are more than desirable. We had a few dishes here. Check out the photos to see more detail. Our personal favourite was the matcha french toast and if we were to pick a second fave it would be the chilli scrambled egg on croissant. Oh, also their Matcha and Taro cold drinks are a delight (Photos taken for this too!)
Finally managed to visit Cafe Elation, been wanting to visit this place since I found so many photos about this on my Instagram timeline
They regularly change their special menu, during my visit I tried these stuff Pumpkin Bruschetta, Iced Taro latte, Iced Candy latte, South East Pancakes.
Their pumpkin Bruschetta was really good, you should try this one too if they are still in store :), it has smoked balsamic onion jam, sage beurre noisette hummus, dressed soft kale, quinoa, pepitas, poached eggs, pome, halloumi, lemon with sourdough base
My favourite drinks are the Iced taro latte and Rassy Lemon lime bitters 🤩🤩🤩, for dessert or brunch you can also order their Matcha French Toast. That was realllyy good, I enjoyed my time at Elation so much, can’t to visit it again
Really nice cafe in Gladesville. Plenty of brunch dishes that all look beautiful and taste great. Think brunch with a Japanese twist. My favourite dish was the new special 'South East Pancakes' - yellow rice crepe, filled with pork belly, prawns, beansprouts, veggies & a house made BBQ sauce. It reminded me of Vietnamese dish banhxeo with the cripsy pancake, generous amount of prawns & the BBQ sauce was a different twist, however went really well. Owners were friendly and service was quick.
The staff here are very kind and he recommended the food that just fits our taste. The speed of serving is very fast, and every food at the point has a high value and a good taste. Seasoning is just right. I personally like Eel+egg, Japanese-style grilled squid with seaweed, and very Asian flavor. I always like a special banana bread when I go to cafe. Cafe Elation is equipped with coffee maple butter, which is very special. It tastes like black sesame. highly recommended
I love the quiet street away from the city, found this cafe with my friends which is a bless.
Very nice and neat outlook, easy and cozy feeling when you walk in.
The greatest thing I like Bruch is because once you glance on the table full of beautiful colours and wonderful smells, there’s nothing to worry now.
Let me tell you how wonderful they are.
Best banana bread ever - I haven’t had banana bread for a while now , but you will be so Thrilled by ESPRESSO + MAPLE BUTTER . I don’t know where else you could have it ! If you are a coffee lover, you can’t miss this out.
Matcha French Toast - I am big MATCHA fan ! I could have anything in MATCHA favour ! This is one of the most signature for asian fusion ! The best thing is ~ it need to add vanilla ice cream ! Hahah THE BEST
Chill scramble eggs on croissant - chilli ! The one that boost your motabolism . The dish right in front of you just make your mouth watery !
Pork belly poke bowl - Kimchi ~ very Korean standard meal , imagineer with all the rainbow bowl together ! Fresh and crunchy , I love Korean food ! This is a good to start with . And I definitely loving Gochujang dressing , hot as me ! Lol
Eel + Egg - Double E dish ! I grew up with Soy glazed eel. Used to be one of my favourite , till I moved over. I still go to Japanese restaurant to order an Eel bento . It’s surprisingly amazing to try out at Cafe Elation. This is another level for a cafe. Fench Omelette ! I am speechless ~ melting in your mouth straight away. Brown rice and quinoa , I am actually inspired by this combination , healthy carbs
Here’s drinks
organic mermaid latte - coconut milk, Manuka honey , blue super food blend !! And all other brunch of good herbs. I can’t believe it’s actually very cheap for all these ingredients
Single origin cold drip - STAR STAR STAR This is very special because it took 8hrs to process. The flavour of coffee is clean and mild. Not sour , not bitter. Mild taste , just like walking along the beach with breeze. That’s how I would describe it.
Rassy lemon lime bitter - frizzy , chilled , tropical and fruity . One of must for a great weekend
It really has everything you want from a great cafe! The food is super tasty, well priced and comes out quickly, great coffee and drinks, cozy atmosphere and very friendly staff. Highly recommend!
Cafe elation is a Japanese fusion cafe that serves AMAZING food and friendly service! With indoor/outdoor dining options, perfect for weekend catchups with friends and fur-babies (pet friendly).
Here are some of the things we ordered-
Food:
Beef katso
California toast with poached egg
Umami mushroom on toast
Elation stack
Drinks:
Red energy
Iced taro latte 🌟 (favourite)
Watermelon & orange juice
Highly recommend and would definitely go again
This latest brunch hotspot is situated on Victoria street in Gladesville. This modern Australian-Asian fusion cafe is dishing up your favourite classic brunch dishes with a creative twist.
We tried the following dishes:
SOUTH EAST PANCAKE - yellow rice crepes, grilled pork belly and prawns, carrots, bean sprouts, cucumbers, nuoc cham, house bbq sauce, lime and herbs. This pancake was one flavour bomb! I loved all of the fresh ingredients, juicy prawns and pork that were encased inside this crispy pancake (similar to a Vietnamese pancake). The house bbq sauce was a unique twist, it gave the dish a subtle tanginess which I enjoyed. This April special is only available for a limited time so hurry, try it before it goes!
CHILLI SCAMBLE EGGS ON CROISSANT - smashed avocado, chilli relish, cherry tomatoes, coriander, fried shallots and lemon. After eating this, I can only eat my scrambled eggs on a croissiant and with that delicious, lip tingling chilli sauce.
EARTH RED BOWL - poached eggs, balsamic glazed beetroot, avocado, beets hummus, crispy kale, feta, pistachio dukkah on quinoa soy linseed toast. This bowl has a lovely earthiness to it with the deep beetroot flavour in the glazed beets and the hummus. All the flavours blended together well, the crack of the perfectly poached egg worked very well.
SHISO SMASHED AVOCADO - smashed avocado, feta, red shiso salt, cherry tomato, togarashi threads, lemon, free range poached egg on quinoa and soy linseed bread. As far as smashed avo on toast goes, this one is loaded with flavour. I did prefer the other dishes that we ordered though as they had a more unique twist to them.
MATCHA FRENCH TOAST - Kiwi, fresh berries, banana, white chocolate and pistachio crumble, matcha syrup, adzuki bean mascarpone on French toast. We saved this dish for last and I can almost say we did save the best for last (we also really enjoyed two of the other dishes). It's not just your average French toast, there is the crumble for crunch, the fruit for zest and freshness and the creamy, sweet matcha syrup which gets soaked into the fluffy French toast.
We drank the following:
Rassy lemon lime bitters
Blue berries smoothie
Iced Thai milk tea
Organic mermaid latte
The cafe features an extensive menu with two pages of dishes plus two pages alone on drinks! And weekly/monthly specials as well. It’s worth a visit for breakfast or brunch.
Note: I dined as a guest of the café. All views and opinions expressed are my own.
Pet friendly at the Cafe Elation. The staff are all so friendly. Food was amazing with a Japanese fusion twist.
Their iced taro is a must try!!
I love this cafe, the food and service is great! the food is Japanese fusion and the coffee is excellent, two choices of beans to choose from. I'm slowly working my way through the breakfast menu, so many great options! will not disappoint.
How good is Eel and Egg dish here. Soy glazed grilled eel, french omelette. It’s so tasty and good combination. This is my fav brunch from this place. You must try this cafe, it is different from other cafes in Sydney. Omg!!! everything here looks so yummy, I’ll come back to try all.😋
Nice and bright place. Coffee was so good and your menu looks very unique and interesting with fusion food. Also the drinks were so fancy and notable for your cafe. It’s a hidden gem in Gladesville. Definitely come back.
Cafe Elation is such a hidden gem in Gladesville. They serve a mix of fusion dishes and some really interesting drinks too! The Matcha French Toast was definitely my favourite and their Chilli Eggs with Fish Roe is amazing. They also push out new specials quite often and this time round, there was the South East Pancakes which is a play off Banh Xeo (Vietnamese Savoury Pancakes) and Pumpkin Bruschetta. The prices are fairly decent and the food portion size was well worth it. The Iced Taro Latte was my absolute favourite. I will be back to try other dishes for sure.
Cafe Elation located in Gladesville serves an Asian twist on cafe classics! All the dishes were phenomenal but if I were to choose, my favourite dishes were the Chili Scramble eggs on Croissant and the Matcha French Toast! Drinks were also spot on and accompanies the dishes well. Hospitality was great and it was busy on the Sunday afternoon. Thanks Cafe Elation for the amazing food and invite!
Cafe Elation is a cosy little cafe just off Victoria Road in Gladesville serving Japanese fusion cuisine. If you are looking for something different for brunch or lunch then Cafe Elation is a must try. It’s creative and beautifully presented food and more importantly, damn tasty. Dishes include Tilicho Momos, Matcha French Toast, Egg & Eel, Sisho Smashed Avocado toast, South East Pancakes (which were yellow rice crepes filled with prawns, pork belly, sprouts, fresh herbs, pickled ginger, carrots, nuoc cham and cucumber). If I haven’t sold you yet, the waiting staff are very sweet and they have an interesting selection of coloured lattes eg tumeric, taro, matcha. I can’t wait to go back. #cafeelation #gladesville
A brand new cafe on the corner of Victoria Rd, Elation is the new age Japanese fusion cafe. I am living for the monthly specials! This month was House-made spiced steamed chicken dumplings (6), sesame chilli chutney, herb salad & spinach crisps. Absolutely delicious!! . Dog friendly AF, new game changing cafe in the area that you can go to to impress anyone! Food is generously portioned and the flavours are great. I tried a bit of everything but those momos *drools*
Very intrigued with this cafe serving japanese fusion food, it’s a popular place but not crowded. Staff was very friendly and let me sit there to wait for 20 minutes for my sister.
The food we got is familiar but all with a twist. The fusion was not forced at all, and the flavour went together very well. My chilli scrambled egg is not overly spicy or buttery, as croissant was quite buttery. The matcha french toast is not overly sweet or dense, and its very satisfying with the ice cream.
The california toast is innovative, the nori chips were a brilliant addition.
The drinks we got was more gimmicky, but mum liked her coffee a lot.
@foodbyzeebee - Instagram.
This Japanese/Aussie cafe marriage was truly incredible.
The technique, flavours, balance and presentation used were enough to send foodie chills of excitement down my spine! I will definitely be back here and suggest that you try this foodgasm worthy experience for yourself.
The Californian toast with the nori crisps is a must! Everything on the plate paired so well together 😍.
The iced taro latte was delicious goodness but the show stopper was their orgasmic Matcha French Toast!
At times, sweetened matcha can be too bitter for my palate, but this was AMAZEBALLS!!! Definitely worth an order 💚💚💚💚🍵🍵🍵🍵⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I dined here on a Saturday as part of a foodie event (thanks to FCBA for organising.
We had the following dishes:
Matcha French Toast: my dish of the day. I loved the flavours. So much matcha but it was well balanced. There was matcha in the toast and in the syrup drizzled over the top. Outstanding.
Eel and Eggs: Perfectly cooked eggs, the eel was flavoursome and I loved the crispy nori which puffed up like a prawn chip.
Chilli Scrambled Eggs: the eggs were well cooked. I would have liked more chilli though.
Avocado Toast with Poached Egg: if you feel like playing this safe, this dish won't do you wrong. Generous serving of avocado, cherry tomatoes and feta cheese.
Tilicho Momo Special (steamed chicken dumplings): Delicious and there was plenty of chilli sauce in the bottom. I would order this to share as the portion is quite small
South East Pancakes Special: a generous sized pancake with plenty of filling.
For drinks we tried the velvet and mermaid lattes which were spicy and a bit different. I preferred the mermaid latte.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. I think they have a great set up with plenty of outdoor space.
Insaaaaaane coffee. They offer 2 types, but they are both so flavorful and full bodied, we can’t wait to visit again & buy some of their beans to take home.
As for the food... we went with another couple and had something different each - everyone was so happy and impressed with their food. I had the chilli eggs in a croissant. SO tasty. Would highly recommend as their service & friendliness just adds to the whole experience!!!
Absolutely love this cafe! The menu is seriously overwhelming (but in the best possible way). You will want to order everything and I'm already keen to come back to try more. I came for brunch but ended up ordering the wagyu beef burger and I'm so glad I did. It was fantastic! Such fresh, high quality ingredients and soo juicy. We also tried the California Toast which is a super creative dish. So many well matched flavours, it's basically a work of art. The menu is a mix of creative dishes like this and cafe staples (some glorious looking scrambled eggs were spotted) so you really can't go wrong. Sunny courtyard, super friendly staff and ample parking nearby also make this a winner!! Highly recommend and would return for sure.
The Best Coffee In Gladesville!
Not only do they have the best coffee, but the food is amazing. Everything else around the area does the exact same food and it is average at best, but Cafe Elation is always doing something new. The staff are friendly, food is amazing (they have rotating specials). This is a cafe I would expect in somewhere like enmore or surry hills or something, because they are unlike anything in gladesville.
If you haven't gone there yet you have to go now. For breakfast and lunch and then you can debate which is better.
This little cafe is hidden just of Victoria Rd in Gladesville and has a a Japanese Fusion Menu like no other! From the moment we walked in we were greeted with friendly faces and the lovely interior made us feel calm and relaxed.
With a strong focus on healthy and delicious food, specialty lattes, fresh juice and mocktails, Cafe Elation is a hidden gem with so much to offer!
We love the beautifully presented Vegan Hibiscus Pear Maple Granola, with nuts, seeds, oats, coconut chia pudding MC coconut yoghurt, fruits and a side of Bonsoy.
This was a Matcha French Toast like no other.
Packed with kiwi fruit, fresh berries, banana, white chocolate, pistachio crumble an adzuki bean mascarpone and matcha syrup to pour, French Toast will never be as good!
California Toast with a Poached Egg was a sourdough sliced, With Tasmanian smoked salmon, crab mayo, Miso cream cheese, avocado, petite bouche, wasabi vinaigrette, nori chips and flying fish row.
If you’re not a toast person try the Chilli Scrambled Eggs on a Croissant. With smashed avocado, chilli relish, cherry tomatoes, coriander, fried shallots and lemon. Add bacon or flying fish roe.
We loved the Katsu Healthy Bowl.
It had marinated pork slices with sesame seeds.
Enoki mushrooms, red cabbage, carrots, cucumber, kimchi, miso soy dressing on a bed of brown rice.
Every dish was absolutely stunning. Such a lovely experience. Will be back again!
Eel Omelette is sooooooo Delicious! Japan fusion cafe. Highly recommended.
Bacon Omelette Croissant 😋 also has really good. Fused with Chilli and Avocados.
I went there last Friday during lunchtime and there was a lunchtime special.i had a slow roasted lamb sandwich.it was a good portion for a 10$.Lamb was tender and hummus and all the sauces they put was amazing .Oh yeah and coffee was fantastic and also the service.Looking to go there again .its cheap ,environment and staff are good, foods are nice.#MUSTTRY
Great place to eat! Friendly staff, great menu and nice setting.
Best coffee in town, couldn’t recommend more highly.
Come here most mornings.
Been there yesterday. I really love the atmosphere❤️❤️, very chill and relax. I got a French toast, it was awesome and beautiful. My sister had Lamb pasta and she loves it very much. The price is reasonable. The coffee was a great idea to choose from the different blend and different taste. A little bit excited to try both Hitman and Founder coffees to see how different they are😆The crew were friendly and warm welcome. You guys did the well-done job. Definitely come back soon. This is my new favorite place.👍🏻
Great menu! They had a huge range of Japanese inspired meals, everything looked super tasty. We got the eggplant special dish and the salmon poke bowl. Food came out well presented and fresh. Coffee was excellent too. There is some shaded outdoor seating and a few tables inside too. Definitely somewhere you can come again and again and not be bored!
We went on a Saturday and it was a nice day to be sitting outside in the shade with the warmth of the sun. The food was ok. We had the special green tea noodle bowl and the smoke salmon smashed avo. Both were quite nice and very Asian inspired in flavours. Keen to try other things on the menu.
A small little Cafe but with a big punch for good coffee and delicious food.
Had the green tea noodles with chicken and ponzu sauce and will definitely order it again.
The prices and size of the dishes are reasonable and will definitely be coming back to try the rest of the menu
What a nice cute cafe. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. The elation stack elevated my mood because it was so delicious. (Only problem is it’s kinda small and squishy).
Dog friendly, friendly staff, big menu selection! It’s a western, Japanese fusion menu and taste and quality was of good quality! Will definitely return to try some of the specials!
We had the Kani Scramble and Eel+egg, portions just nice. Generous crab and flying fish caviar on the Kani scramble. The brown rice quinoa gave a nice texture difference to the eel+egg and in totality every component in each dish paired nicely with layered taste and textures.
Coffee, The Maple blend was nice as a long black. You can taste the coffee much better versus pairing it as a cap or latte in my opinion.
Overall great place with decent coffee!
Super attentive staff! Thank you for looking after me and my baby. Great selection of dishes and have to mention the ONA COFFEE!
Scrumptious chilli scrambled eggs on croissant, thank you Chef!
Great place to chill with friends!
Came back to try more dishes the other day! Mocha toast and Eel+Egg 👍🏻
Wonderful service and a wide range of food options. Nice cafe to have brunch at. Highly recommend!
