We got take away tonight. Looks like a family run business. The people there were lovely and friendly wishing me a Happy New year. The food serves were good and food very authentic and tasty. I will definitely come back and try some other dishes.

This is a hidden gem located at glen huntly . The owner is passion about his cooking and truest shows in the meals.
So many high lights includes crispy seafood noodles, laksa (veg) and their home made roti bread .
We ordered Ubereats from this place one night. It took awhile to be delivered (45mins) but the food arrived hot. I had the roti planta which was crispy, thin and delicious and the nasi goreng with crispy chicken. The nasi goreng was underseasoned but the crispy chicken was juicy and tasty.
Crispy chicken was good. It really compliments the nasi lemak and fried rice. The char kuay teow didn’t really taste as how i expected it to be. On the other hand, the roti telur was good. Sambal and curry that came with it was delicious! A little pricey, considering the size of the roti isn’t that big.
I've ordered take away from here a few times but damnnn the roti wrap and roti canai are goood. If I could eat your roti every day I would. Absolutely full of flavour and the roti is so soft and crispy at the same time.
Salient features: Great har mee (prawn mee) is hard to find in Melbourne but Roti & Roti (oh the irony) do a pretty darn good version. The broth takes centre stage with its more-ish prawney sweetness a joy to slurp down. Between the har mee, char kuey teow and wat tan hor at Roti & Roti, I’d order the har mee every single time.
Open until late, this humble restaurant have a friendly team that cook and delivers orders swiftly within minutes and makes this place ideal for a casual quick bite or take away. The menu has a decent variety and each dish is served piping hot. The noodle soup dishes I ordered were full of flavours yet not overly salty; I loved the broth in the Har Mee soup. Omg i have been around the world eating asian food and this place makes the best seafood laksa i have ever had with a combination of fresh seafood there is also smoked egglant and a lovely chilli hit . The roti is to die for cooked to order a mouthfull of pure pleasure and cheap .. a humble setting for gormet delights ... check it out
I only get the veggie Nasi Goreng but damn is it good! I can always count on Roti & Roti to make me a killer fried rice. Highly recommend you try it out!

Got the roti combo meal with chicken curry as takeaway yesterday and it was really great, a fluffy roti always makes me happy and the roti was done perfectly along with the chicken curry, dhal and sambhal was a perfect lunch, a must try malayasian joint at Glen Huntly.
Our first Malaysian food experience was here, about 4 years ago. We came again after trying many other during that time, and it was delicious as we remembered.
Not a fancy place at all, but very clean and nice staff, good pricing and simple yet very tasty food. Rotis are made on spot to perfection and the dhal and curries were delicious as well.
I have been here a few times for the chicken curry which is off the chain good which comes with rice.Roti bread is also excellent, flaky and the dishes are very good value.Give this place a go.
Love the food!! Just got takeaway Nasi Lemark special with Beef Rendang, Roti Canal and Char Kuay Teow and they were all amazing!!! Great value, great food and will definitely be going back. I would like to try the desserts next time! Roti was so tasty with all the sauces that came with it and beef rendang was amazing and leaves me craving for more. Just as google rated this restaurant 4.7 stars I think it deserves 5 stars!!

We ended-up here, by fluke, on our visit to Indian Grocery store Quality which is diagonally opposite to this restaurant. Quite hungry and no place to go we decided to have our dinner here since this was the only place that was decently crowded.
Quite simple and very modest and clean, this place looked decent enough for our sojourn. We ordered a portion of their Combo meal of 2 Roti Canai, Sambal, Dhal and Chicken Curry, Seafood Curry Laksa and Nasi Gorang.
Clearly, everything on the plate was too tasty to complain. Fluffy Roti Canai is the Malaysian version of Nan cum Roomali Roti but much more fluffier and tastier to eat by itself. Usually, cold Nans / Roomalis become chewy but this did not even after it got cold. Chicken Curry had succulent pieces of chicken in a flavorful, mildly spiced red curry that was nutty and tangy. Dhal was like the India Fried Dal....simple and flavorful with tempering of cumin seeds and fenugreek seeds. Sambal is usually a very hot garlicky sauce with a tinge of sweetness, and except that this one was more sweeter than what we have had in the past.
Seafood Curry Laksa seemed like the Malaysian Ramen that is a complete meal...which consisted of noodles in a broth that tasted like chicken cum coconut broth and fish cakes, prawns and calamari. OMG, so much strong flavors without overpowering each other or letting the spices overpower the dish.
By now we were already full (their portions are huge) but had to try the Nasi Gorang before we could request them to parcel it. Nasi Gorang, again, a complete meal in itself. Was a chicken fried rice with prawns and eggs and had sweet, salty and sour flavor to it. Prawns and Chicken pieces were stirfried to perfection.
Hospitality is friendly and service is quick.

Ordered Har Mee and Roti with curry Chicken for take away. I am not an expert in Malaysian food so please correct me if I am wrong.
Overall the meals aren't greasy which to I am fond of, ESP Har mee was flavorsome and spicy not like ones I had with lots of pawn oil ( I know some people loves it but when it gets too greasy...) still makes me thirsty after just like most Malaysian food I had. Price is reasonable but Portions are small - if you are starving maybe double up the order.
I personally like the roti myself, I had ones that were buttery however this one is not greasy at all - and so as the flavour is mild. The curry chicken was not what I have imagine, it was only three small chunks but I love the sauce.
Friendly service and chill environment compare to other hectic eateries, good place to have a casual meal if you are looking to get your Malay craving fixed.
A simplistic Malaysian eatery conveniently located near Woolies along Glen Huntley Road. We went for the Prawn Soup Noodles, Chicken Murtabak, Crispy Chicken Rice & Teh Tarik. We didn't expect the prawn noodles to be spicy but it was nice. Their roti is served with 3 sauces: Sambal, Curry & Dhal, what a variety! Definitely authentic Malaysian cuisine.

Get to know this place from colleagues who regularly take away meals for lunch. I was recommended with its fried meehoon or rice vermicelli but i think one dish that stood out is the roti telur bawang (egg and onion roti) came with curry, dhal and sambal. It was a smashing dish especially the curry sauce with hint of pandan leave.
Unassuming little shop that serves one of the best laksas in Melbourne! Very reasonably priced and so tasty, plus the staff are really friendly. This is definitely becoming my go to laksa shop!

A little restaurant located next to Woolworth. It's a good stopby place for lunch before grocery shopping. Food was good and the price was reasonable. The only downside is limited drinks offered.

A no frills kind of place where the food is amazing and everything is self service (ie. you order at the counter, and you get your own cutlery and drinks). This is the place I’m heading to from now on to satisfy my Malaysian food cravings.

Roti&Roti is very much like a takeaway restaurant, the frontage and interior are kept minimal. They recently changed to warm amber lights and repainted the walls, which actually makes the restaurant look a lot more welcoming and comfortable to dine in.
The first time we decided to try Roti&Roti was after reading reviews about their authentic Har Mee. Its prawn soup stock is very flavourful, but I would prefer it less salty. My hubby's all time favourite here is the Roti Teleur Bawang, which is Roti Canai with egg & onion fillings. Nothing beats freshly made roti and served hot. It is soft inside and crispy on the outside. The roti comes with 3 dipping sauce: sambal, dahl & curry. The sambal sauce is quite addictive that could go great with any dish.
This time we came back to try a few more dishes. If you know me, when it comes to laksa, I have to go to Laksa King. However, it's not always convenient for us to drive 30mins to Flemington every time we crave for it. So I decided why not give it a go while I was here. Beside my Chicken Laksa, we also ordered Mee Goreng & Crispy Curry Chicken on Rice.
The Laksa is surprisingly tasty. It is not as creamy as what you'll find in Laksa King, but some people might prefer it like this. The soup itself is packed with flavours and one thing I really love is that it's spicy. If you are not a fan of hot food, please ask the kitchen. Also they use chicken thigh instead of breast so the meat is tender and moist.
Our friend was happy about her Mee Goreng. It has that smoky, burned wok flavour that you can't really achieve at home. They also offer the option to make Mee Goreng with Maggi instant noodles for those who are missing the taste of street food from home.
Crispy curry chicken on rice was probably our least favourite. The chicken is not crispy enough and the curry sauce is a bit bland.
I'm giving this a 3.5/5 because I think Roti&Roti is one of the better takeaway restaurants out there that serves authentic Malaysian food. They seriously offer some very good dishes that I would come back many more times for. The price is also reasonable for the amount of food and its quality.
We love Roti & Roti! (we = me and my Malaysian boyfriend who misses home). We come here all the time when I crave Har Mee. Super duper recommend ^_^
Always a great spot for cheap and authentic malaysian food. Always have my favourite of roti canai and this time tried the crispy chicken satay chop.

Love the laksa here, seem like they take pride in creating the most flavoursome laksa. The roti here is pretty special as well. I've been many times and they're pretty consistent.
30-NOV-2015 : It's fantastic when I come across a Malaysian place that cooks fresh roti to order and also serves popular street food. We ordered the Roti Telur Bawang, Nasi Lemak with fried chicken and prawn noodles. I love the Roti with the sambal and curry sauce. The dhal sauce was not quite there. We were in the neighbourhood and stumbled on this place for lunch. The char kuey teow was decent. The Mee goreng was not as authentic but was nevertheless delicious. I would come back again.
Very authentic Malaysian restaurant. I usually get take away from here. Did not try their Roti before although their name is Roti-Roti. Their nasi goreng and char kuey teow are definitely must try items. Staffs are friendly and welcoming.
I always come to this place whenever I crave for Roti. They have some options for roti, and my favorite is Roti Telur Bawang.. It was fresh, fluffy, and full of flavors, the Daal is fresh and fragrant. The curry is just perfect to my tastebuds. Char Kway Teow is nice, not oily, and had the smoky wok flavor Not sure about the real taste of Mee Goreng in Malaysia but I love what I had in my plate. I just wish they can put more chili to make it more kicking. Sometime I came on busy times and food always came quickly. Will be back for Nasi Lemak and fried Bihoon soon.

Disregard the previous post, don't change a thing to your Laksa. I'm a regular and would hate you to mess around with your shrimp flavour. If the previous persons review wants something to taste like coconut then they should have a pina colada, not a laksa. Keep rocking.
Best Penang Har Mee I've had in Melbourne for a long time. Dishes are a bit small in size, but quality of food is great. Not the cheapest place around for lunch ($10-12), but good enough. Enjoy!
Price is good, first bite of roti brings me the memory of eating roti in Changi. Casual place and close from home...definitely will be back!
Freshly made to order roti prata (canai). Laksa is also pretty good. And crispy chicken. Only thing is instead of "combination" (noodles) , it would be nice if you could offer some non seafood options like beef or chicken or just fish.
Yum yum yum. Everything is yummy anytime I order and so affordable. Food taste so fresh.
Favourite local. Portions can be on the small side for the roti dishes but very flavourful and addictive sambal. takeaway portions are smaller than dine in.
All good. First time here and everything we ordered was delicious and good portions. My 6yo enjoyed his roti so much he asked to come here everyday!
Tasty noodles. Had the Fried Mee Hoon which comes with sambal sauce on the side. I would highly recommend asking for more sauce that you can add to the dish as it was delicious and not spicy but gave it just a nice kick and some extra flavour. My friend who had recommended the place had the Mee goreng with extra vegetables which they happily provided at no extra cost. I tried some and will be definitely going back to have more. Really great flavours. Huge serving sizes and for $9.50 at lunch it was a ridiculously great price. I can't wait to try more on the menu including the crispy chicken with rice and the laksa which my friend could not keep going about.

Midweek Malaysian. Since Roti & Roti opened for business, I’ve visited at least half a dozen times and have managed to sample a decent proportion of the Malaysian menu which includes numerous types of roti, hawker style noodle soups, wok fried noodles plus a couple of rice & curry offerings.
It’s a pretty simple set up, but it’s proven to be reliable and good value with the basic roti canai priced at $6.50 and roti mutabak served with curry chicken the most pricy item at $12.50.
The various roti dishes are accompanied by wonderful dhal, curry sauce and sambal.
Not sure I’d be heading there for a romantic Saturday night dinner, but for a quick, low-cost midweek meal it’s a great option.
Finally, decent Malaysian in the burbs!. Have been hoping for a great Malaysian to eat locally and finally there is one in Roti Roti. New, clean and good service. Had the curry laksa and it was perfect, was so impressed I then ordered Roti for dessert. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu.

Great flavours in a casual enviroment. I highly recommend the roti canai with chicken curry. The little portion of dahl and sambal you get are also really tasty. A welcome addition to the area.
Glenhuntly finally gets a decent take away. Well, after moving back to the Glenhuntly area and being subjected to abysmal Indian and Chinese take away (near Glenhuntly station, especially west of the railway crossing) - Roti & Roti arrives like a white knight, saving everyone looking for decent cheap take away. The pricing - tick, the service - tick, the cleanliness - tick but best of all - the food is great. I had a Malaysian chicken curry and a mee goreng and both were superb. So the existing Glenhuntly Chinese and Indian take away chumps will never again see my money. The Indian take away was especially bad. Never again my partner said. Like a cave with really bad food. So hopefully the cheery & efficient Ben at Roti & Roti will answer the phone next time I call and deliver the great service that Glenhuntly shops have always missed. 4.5 out of 5
