Best Arancini balls with truffle mayo and rocket with a great price too. It’s a shame the recipe for the flatbreads have changed. Margherita pizza use to have chunks of mozzarella, now it’s melted cheese.

Love the beef pasta sauce as it taste delicious. The pizza both are yummy too. Service was attentive too. Overall it was enjoyable dinner experience.
The slow cooked Beef and Potatoes were very tasty . It was a good atmosphere in the restaurant . I also shared the coco cola wings which were very nice too .
5 of us went for dinner including my in-laws, albeit slow initially, was made up by food being very good n tasty. My father-in-law being a chef previously agreed that the taste was very good - subtle but flavoursome. This is our third visit to this restaurant and no doubt will not be our last.
Good place for group of friends with very nice food n service. Closed to train station n easy to park off street. Would recommend to come back again!

The signature rainbow seafood pasta was the high light with great serving of creamy sauce topped on Prawns, scallops and mussels .
Waitress service was amazing and the chef even came out to help.

We had a lovely meal here today. Good value lunch menu with coffee. We had the warm lamb salad and fried rice dish which were both tasty. Woodfired pizza was good too. The place is run by a very pleasant and nice lady . Spacious and very comfortable surroundings. It’s right by Glen Iris station and car parking is available across the street. We will be back!

We had a fantastic dinner at Woodfire Kitchen.The service was excellent and the food was very tasty and well presented. The flatbread pizzas and the rainbow ribbon pasta are their signature dishes. You've gotta definitely try them out if you never had them before. definitely will go back to this place to try their brunch next time!

Nice food and good customer service. Their home made Pastas are really yummy. Flat breads are different from normal pizza, its crunchy and tasty. Had a good time with families.
Lovely and neat deco, warm service. Handmade wood fired pizza flatbread is a must try. Freshly made pasta is also my favorite. Definitely coming back!

Woodfired Kitchen serves breakfast, brunch and dinner whilst next door, Magnolia Cafe, serves high tea. We decided to choose something off the brunch menu whilst we dined in our fancy high tea. We decided to order the pancakes and the eggs benedict.
The eggs Benedict came with two eggs on a sour dough drenched in hollandaise sauce. This is probably a very bold statement but this egg is probably the best egg I’ve ever had. No joke, it was perfect runny. I’ve eaten at so many brunch places and I’ve never seen an egg so runny without the yolk being cooked at all, let’s just say it was bloody eggcellent!!!! The hollandaise sauce had a really good flavour to it - it was slightly sour and extremely creamy. The whole dish was simple but executed really well!
Next we had the pancake. It was cooked nicely however I felt like it was a bit heavy. There was a little too much maple syrup on the plate. However it was a decent pancake.
We also tried out their wagyu skewers and the meat was really tender and flavoursome. It was quite a surprise because we didn’t think it’ll taste that good! We really enjoyed it!
Overall, stand out dish was the eggs Benedict. Simple dish, executed very well! Great job and thank you for having us.
A hidden gem at the Glen Iris high street! Right next to the train station, very convenient location.
I went in the morning 11am when they just opened for coffee, very cozy and relaxing. The restaurant was spacious and full of retro architectural heritage style on one side. The coffee was good and with latte art on top. Lunch time was quite busy, I had the slow cooked braised lamb flatbread, pork calzone and vegetarians spring rolls. All of them are very good! One thing must to highlight is The flatbread! It was outstanding! absolutely delicious! The lamb was so tender and the sauce was beautifully matched! Highly recommended!

We had the lamb and margarita flat bread pizzas to share - couldn't say which was the best - both so full of flavour and on the flat bread you really got to enjoy the toppings. Then shared the fried rice - had to take some home - soooooo good - and ocean trout - again really interesting flavours.
Give it a try - you won't be disappointed!!
We had company Christmas lunch here. Friendly service and lovely food. I had ocean trout for main and it cooked fine. The house flatbread was very delicious, highly recommended. Also, they made good almond latte.
Our office had Christmas Lunch in this local cafe, food was great and portion was very generous. Pizza or flatbread as what they called it was best in town in my opinion, espectially the lamb flatbread, must try! I ordered Wagyu beef, it was so tender and full of flavors. I will definitely come again with my family next time!

Who would have thought Woodfired Kitchen would serve up High Tea in a pretty little room with their very own designed china! Well they do! And for $29 per person (minimum two) it’s certainly affordable, serving up High Teas Tuesdays-Saturdays.
I fell in love with their plates that they have designed themselves, the painting on the walls and the cute little pyjama store next door.
It’s a great place to meet up with friends for morning or afternoon tea and it’s right near the station. Really nice tea selection too.

I am excited to find an Italian wood fired hand made pasta restaurant in my neighbourhood. The food did not disappoint. The flatbread aka pizza with beef topping was truely superb. I ordered the hand made gnocchi with pesto. Absolutely faultless. A very enjoyable meal. Most attentive staff. Will be back. Wonderful addition to glen Iris. We need this

We had visited Woodfired Kitchen for breakfast when it first opened and here’s what we had!
Eggs benedict - served with bacon and hollandaise sauce on crumpets, this was a simple but yet delicious dish! The bacon strips were juicy and crispy and it complemented the sweetness of the crumpets which were soft and fluffy! Other cafes would have used sourdough which to me is a little harder!
Pancakes - served with berry compote and apple slices, this was an average dish as the berry compote was too sour and had overpowered the sweetness of the pancakes. The apple slices had added more sourness to the dish.
Shakshuka - this was my favorite for the day as the baked eggs were full of flavors! When dipping in the toasted bread, you could taste the savoriness of the chorizo and the tomato relish which was a very good match! The best part about this dish was how filling and hearty it was!
We had a pleasant time at Woodfired Kitchen and are keen to try their dinner menu next!

I'd like to recommend this place. It's new and the staff is super friendly and most importantly their food was so good. I went there for my mum's birthday celebration we all loved the food and my boy enjoyed his kids meal too. I was actually quite amazed by the standard and the presentation of the food. I'd go back again.
They make the best food. Coffee and cakes are very good, the place has an Italian influence - my favourite is the spaghetti bolognese. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

As newly launched eatery in the sleepy suburb of Glen Iris, Woodfired Kitchen offers up a very tasty yet incredibly affordable feed that’s bound to impress.
Their woodfired flatbreads are one of a kind, cleverly combining Middle-Eastern influences with Italian flavours and creating something truly special.
We very much enjoyed our lunch at the Woodfired kitchen. We had the flat bread pizza with braised lamb, the braised beef rib and the prosciutto. The food was delicious and the flat bread was so light and tasty.
The service was really great and the place had a nice friendly feel to it. We look forward to going there again.
We really enjoyed our dinner. The whole experience was fabulous. A very authentic place. Ambience is pleasant and staff very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious especially the fresh prosciutto woodfired flat bread as a matter of fact all the woodfired flatbreads!! The prawn linguine was so tasty that I ate it first before my camera ate it! I will definitely come back for more! Without exception this place should be a go to place for the Glen Iris locals!!
Customer service was great. The menu had a variety of food choices. Anyone who goes must order is the flatbread, it was crunchy and delicious.
The location was next to the train station which is a bonus for people who usually take public transport.

A newly opened restaurant that truly is a local gem. Tanya, who opened the restaurant a few weeks ago is a lovely, kind and warm personality and will happily check in on guests and make sure everything is up to scratch.
We came with a group and ordered the lamb flatbread, prawn linguine, lamb shoulder, beef short rib, and a selection of sides. Would definitely recommend the lamb shoulder! We enjoyed the food too much, and forgot to take photos, but would highly recommend a visit here. A great dining experience, lovely to have locally too which is a nice treat!

LIT!⭐️ : customer service was a stand out for me. My friend and I stayed here until closing time and they continuously filled up our drinks and asked how our meal was. We ordered the braised beef flatbread, seafood linguini and lamb shoulder. The lamb shoulder was so tender and was even better having the pasta in the linguini to complement!
NOT SO LIT: although I loved the flat bread, there were parts of it where I was biting into just the bread.
But overall a great place to dine and I truly hope this place gets busier! X

We celebrated an 18th birthday at this restaurant in their beautiful private room (complete with chandelier) and everyone was raving about the wonderful food and sensational service. Flatbreads were shared to begin, which were all delicious. As the parents of the birthday girl, we chose the baked barramundi and the slow cooked lamb shoulder - both were outstanding. The special attention we received was quite amazing - as locals, we definitely recommend Woodfired Kitchen and we will certainly be returning!
Very friendly and prompt service as well as delicious fresh food. We had the lamb flatbread to start and the chicken and short rib for mains. The servings are hearty and generous, we were stuffed! Would recommend and will be visiting again!

We were invited to Woodfired Kitchen today and with a name like that we obviously had to start with one of the wood fired flatbreads. We found it difficult to chose but settled on the lamb shoulder which was a fabulous choice. Exceptionally flavoursome lamb on crispy bread complimented by a yummy pesto and a lovely little yoghurt honey sauce.
We loved the flatbread so much we ordered another one and tried out the roast tomato option. I honestly wanted to go for it when the waitress suggested a third but my husband looked at me like he wanted to check me into fat camp so regrettably I gave it a miss.
We had our mains next the slow cooked lamb shoulder with honey roasted pumpkin for him and the gnocchi with whipped goats curd and basil pesto for me these were both yummy choices. Given it’s only been open two weeks I was amazed at how seamless everything was and all the staff were lovely. Definitely worth checking out if you’re nearby and if that doesn’t sway you I hear there’s also a great deal on Dimmi right now..
Great food and service. Calamari melts in your mouth with exquisite taste and freshness. Will come back again to try the rest of the menu. Reasonable price.
Yum!! Great service, friendly staff and very welcoming. Most importantly, the food was amazingly delicious. My favourites were Croquettes, nice and creamy inside, crunchie on the outside, just delish! The crispy Calamari was nice and certainly crispy. Perfect! I am definitely going back for more. New restaurant in Glen Iris. We came across it last Saturday and it was quite busy. For entry we ordered flat bread which was promoted one of their chef special on the menu. It was actually pizza with Mediterranean style. It tasted a bit different from Italian pizza but definitely worth trying it. I love it. For main I ordered linguine with prawn. It came out with tasty sauce and juicy & crispy prawns. Just right. I enjoyed it. Overall it turned to be a great night. The food was great and the staff were friendly. Definitely recommend it.

Located in Glen Iris and right near the station, this gem is modern yet homely at the same time. The service here was wonderful and the food was equally matched. The must-have is the flatbread and we thoroughly enjoyed the roast chicken and the two refreshing sides! The lemon cheesecake was also a special treat!
A great new restaurant for this area. Loved the woodfired flat bread and the choices of toppings offered for these. Great for a lunch snack and some terrific choices for dinner with plenty of options for all tastes. Wood fired Kitchen will become a regular for those nights when you get off the train and don't feel like cooking.

Visit this restaurant the second time. Had a great friend catch-up there. The customer service was great, very friendly staff. I ordered beef stew, it is one of the best beef stew I ever had. It was so tender and juicy as well as flavored. And my other friends complimented their order as well. Definitely this place will be our choice for future catch up again.
Dinner last night....a really handy location for coffee in the morning (esp if about to catch the train at the station right next door...brekky and coffee specials), lunch (same), and a yummy dinner. Treated very nicely and with care from the moment we arrived. One of the flatbread pizzas was a nice entree to share. The slow cooked lamb shoulder with red wine jus was soft and tasty, and the chicken and mushroom risotto also good. Followed by a sweet slice to finish. Great little good value kids meal, and for the young ones, the ability to watch the train gates go down and trains go past.

Came in on a Sunday night with expectations set a little low, but my god did we find a gem in the rough. Everything was homemade; pasta, pizza, calamari, absolutely delicious. Our server was very accommodating and polite and makes really good latte art! We will definitely be coming back another time with more people. Would recommend this little gem to everyone.
