First time we have eaten here and really enjoyed it. Coffee was great and the breakfast was delicious and very reasonably priced. It is quiet/peaceful and has a homely feel and Sarah (perhaps the Owner) was delightful. Serena
Coffee is very good, simple food but perfect for breakfast or light lunch. I ordered smashed ago on sourdough... so fresh!!!its a perfect place if you want peace and quiet family lunch!
Went here today and had the benedict with pulled pork. Was perfect! Hot chocolate was also really yummy. Can't wait to come back. The staff were also very friendly.

Found this place randomly as I was driving past one day and decided to pay them a visit. The menu has many options which are simple, tasty and made with love. I met the owner on my first visit, and after being turned down and given ridiculous restrictions by a few other cafes, Raven Hill allowed me to host a bridal shower without any rules or unreasonable restrictions such as specific times we had to abide by, minimum spend or a limit on the number of guests we wanted (other than the seating capacity of the entire cafe of course). Most importantly, our event was allowed to be held on a Sunday morning brunch time. The coffee was great, the Chai latte's were collectively the best we've had and the relaxed friendly service provided a great vibe for us to enjoy our morning. Many guests adored the place and asked us how we found it. We had people join us from all over Melbourne such as, Epping, Fawkner, Doncaster, Rowville, Hallam, Taylor's Hill and many places in between which is why we were happy to make this our choice as it was quite central to most of us. During our time, there were many locals coming in and out for coffees, chats with the staff and just reading the paper. It's a great go-to place and I recommend it to anyone who seeks good coffee, great service and plenty of natural lighting ;-)

Raven Hill has great service, lovely fruit toast and really yummy porridge! I am lactose intolerant they even made it without dairy for me.
Really enjoyed the coffee too, the decor of the building is also lovely and new!
Went there for a coffee , ordered a short black , delicious smooth rich coffee , ended up having breakfast as well ( raven hill benedict ) so tasty loved it .

Went there with my family for a weekend breakfast , my wife ordered the smashed avocado, I ordered the open steak sandwich , food was great my wife enjoyed her breakfast and I thought the open steak sandwich was delicious and full of flavour , kids both enjoyed there scrambled eggs . Coffee was great I ended up having three of them. Great friendly service , we will be back and recommend it to every one who like a good cup of coffee .

Love this place! Their coffee is great and have an amazing selection of sandwiches and rolls. I love the risotto and the salmon bagel that they do. Also got catering from them and not only was the food fresh, but well priced. Staff attentive and polite. This cafe is a must visit!

This is a real little haven for this side of town. Great food, polite and friendly service from the people who work here and most of all - the best coffee and breakfast this side of town. Not only is the menu itself a treat but they are even nice enough to let oldschool people like me build my own breakfast which i've always thought is a must for a breakfast place or cafe!
i had the salmon with smashed avocado and it was absolutely amazing. salmon was cooked perfectly and the avocado was fresh and delicious. i would definitely order it again. i also had a mocha and the mocha was very yum, there was plenty of coffee and chocolate, and not just heaps of milk like so many places! i'd probably say it was the best mocha i've ever had. the coffee art was also a nice surprise.
my boyfriend ordered the wagyu beef burger and he also loved it, full of flavour and a good size.
prices were reasonable and similar to most places in the area.
the ambiance was nice, very clean and with friendly staff. the man working there was very accommodating and helpful. will definitely be going back.
I had a work meeting at the cafe , all of us surprisingly loved the variety of top quality confectionery, you could serve your self or be served, coffee was aromatic , classic serving dishes you can imagine and most of all well priced . Highly recommended

Love my local cafes. Wonderful, quiet place with good food and great coffee. It is not a big place but it works to the advantage, giving it a great friendly atmosphere esp for families and a quiet catch up with a good friend. The service is attentive. Will be back.
