Good quality noodles, consistent across the Master Lanzhou branches I’ve visited so far. Limited menu but can’t complain, they have soup noodles and dry noodle dishes to choose from — all about the noodle!

One of my favourite places for noodles! Always my go to and recommendation to friends since there are stores everywhere. The noodles are always perfectly cooked and tasty, the spicy ones are my favourite. Chilli oil can be left out if you’re not a fan of the spice. The pigs’ ear is very good, it’s nice, flavourful and crunchy! Plum juice is my favourite - so refreshing and helps with the spice.

Noodles cooked al dente, broth packed with beefy goodness and meat cooked just right. Chilli oil customized to taste (ask them to leave it out, add your own, or do both). I feel the noodles here taste better than those at 2 outlets in the same chain

Master Lanzhou Noodle Bar - The Glen Visit Update 27/4/2022 I take some friends from other suburbs to taste the noodles here. They are very impressed with fresh noodles, just like how they tasted at Labzhou in China. _____________________ Visited on 29/4/2021 On many occasions, I stood outside this eatery and watched through the glass windows the staff making noodles without using any machine. He cut pieces off a big block of dough. He used one piece at a time, coated it with oil, pulled it and stretched it with both hands. The right end of stretched dough was placed on the left end. The two ends were pulled and stretched again. The process were repeated until the required thickness was achieved. Today, I finally took my wife to try out the signature dish, Beef Noodle in Soup. The shop is brightly lit, with the help of the wave-like ribbon lights hung on the ceiling. The interior deco is oriental with murals of a martial artist and the Chinese character Lan. There is a choice of noodle strand of different thickness, either round or flat. It does not take long for the noodle to cook. The bowl is big, and the content is filled to almost full to the rim. Since the noodle is freshly made and cooked in boiling water, then topped up with beef stock soup, the noodle is soft and a bit chewy. The broth is not very spicy but tasty probably with added MSG. The beef is thinly sliced, just cooked to the right tenderness. Tables are quickly wiped down, presumably with sanitising liquid after customers vacate. I enjoy the meal.

The signature beef noodles is perfectly balanced with a tasty broth, tender beef and delicious hand-made noodles.

Signature beef noodle soup, 👍, beef is cooked to perfection with a beefy broth. Dry beef noodles had fatty chunks of tender beef. Both had perfectly cooked noodles (thick and thin). Don't make the mistake of not adding the toppings (chilli, coriander and leek).

One of my favourite noodle places. When I eat here it always tastes fresh and I do enjoy watching the chefs prepare and make the homemade noodles though the glass whilst lining up.the menu variety is great and you are able to choose your noodle size. Extremely generous portions for the size and always prepared in a timely manner. Normally I opt for the yupon noodles (dry noodle) and find that amazing but today I tried the traditional famous beef noodles and fell in love.highly recommend both! U can choose to add chilli,coriander etc. which is helpful. Staff are lovely. This store is less inviting to sit in compared to the Doncaster store

This place does not have appropriate offering for vegetarians, only small bits of bok choy and spring onion, needs more veg or tofu. I had ordered the Youpo noodle dish

Very good beef noodles. Staff were nice and friendly. Good pricing and location. Very good portions. It can be busy at times.

Absolutely love their homemade noodles! Love how they make their noodles fresh in store as it makes a whole lot of difference when fresh noodles are used.<br/><br/>The broth is really good and rich in flavour and I really like their beef with radish soup. I would usually choose the thicker noodles as I like my noodles chewy.<br/><br/>Don't forget to add in chilli oil with your noodles soup as it brings it to another level as well. <br/><br/>They do have herbal drinks on display which goes really well with the noodle soup.

The beef noodle is so good serve with homemade chilli sauce . Broth is clear and every time I almost finish to drink them. Definitely recommend!

Lots of selection on the menu. You can mix and match noodles and toppings. Friendly staff and lots of people on the weekend

Very Nice noodle! I like the pickled beef noodle soup. Place is very clean, not very crowded in weekdays. The staff is very friendly, gave good suggestion.

Been here multiple times before and always back at the same place. Noodle soup is always a comfort food 😊 recommend the signature beef noodle soup with the thicker noodles!

their soup seems to be getting more and more salty compared to the first time i tried it but their noodles are always so fresh and bouncy! <br/><br/>for the price point i'd probably recommend heading down the grand tofu or dumpling empire on kingsway for some tastier food.

I have been wanting to try this branch of Lanzhou Beef Noodles for ages but the perpetual queues have always put me off. Due to the pesky virus, the queues were magically gone when I visited at lunch time on Wednesday 5/2/2020. <br/><br/>I had the chicken giblet and the mala beef noodles. Both were delicious. The broth was packed with flavour and the noodles were tender. There were nice chunks of beef as well. The chicken giblet was a tasty side dish. <br/><br/>With more staff than customers, service was pleasant and efficient. Definitely worth repeat visits.

Delicious traditional beef noodle. Love that I was able to choose the noodle thickness. Great atmosphere and the service was super quick and friendly!

Loved the noodle choices which consisted of thinnest to thicker ones as well. I tried the thinnest one which was really good as it soaks in the taste. The ambience and quick service were marvellous as well.

Better than the Lanzhou noodles in China. Hands down. Also more choices than its in China. The spicy and peppery is definitely legend. Go for the thin noodles.
