Review The Pancake Parlour - Glen Waverley

Lulu Alfurayh
The pancakes were pretty good and delicious. We got the four medley and loved them and the salted caramel pancakes were also very very yummy. However, the staff were kind of distracted and not focused! Maybe because the place was full. Also our coffee came too late when we finished the desserts, so it was kind of disappointing. And the coffee was not good at all. I would recommend the pancakes only.

Delicious! Don't dismiss this when you see 3.7 stars. Although the wait is a bit long, the food is extraordinary, beautiful and delicious. Really highly recommend ordering the "IT" pancakes and Potato and Cheese pancakes. They were the best when we had them. Thanks for the yummy dinner 😋!

I love going to the Pancake Parlour before a movie, plenty of parking. Great location. Staff are always friendly and smiling, I like being able to sit in a booth. Gluten free options too. Highly recommend.

Good place to hang out at night. Can get rather crowded on the busier or colder night due to Winter Parlour. Pancakes are of standard to most Pancake Parlours except for the size. Their pancakes here tend to be smaller than the pancakes in Knox or Eastland. Toilets are small for a eatery of this size. The outside toilets in Century CityWalk aren't big enough either. This place used to have board games to play, however, they got old and grotty and now doesn't seem to be available for patrons to use.

We come to Pancake Parlour, Glen Waverley pretty regularly. Service is generally good. Only complaint is that 50% of the time we've had Jamaican Banana Pancakes, they've used unripe bananas that end up tasting like potatoes.

Liked this place because it's open late. A bonus for travellers staying in Glen Waverley needing a late night meal. I ordered chicken parmigana. I was nice. Only complaint is the salad had no salad dressing. It was just wet leaves on the plate. I like a salad dressing that tastes like a dressing, not something watered down. Service was good, friendly staff. Go again? Yepp probably would.

The hotcakes tasted nice but were pretty small. The malt shake was unimpressive. I couldn't tell if they put icecream in it, it just tasted like flavoured milk. And it cost $10. They really need to reduce their prices. It's just not worth the money.

For anyone who hasn’t been to a pancake parlour, expect over priced, average food. This is always expected from pancake parlour, it is the slow service which was unexpected, considering that there weren’t many people. It took the staff 20mins to take our order and the food took another 20mins. Unacceptable!
