It's a pretty small restaurant with maybe 10 tables max. We went for the steak night and I must say, the wagyu steak was pretty good. It was a tender and buttery, without being overly oily. Some wagyu steaks can get a bit nauseating when it's too buttery/oily, this was a perfect balance between the meat and the buttery-ness of the steak. The chips were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Needed to add salt to the chips but that's not an issue at all.
Would go again for steak night and maybe try out the other items on the menu.
Easy 3.5, perhaps 4. - The place is a surprise. Its not what I was expecting - in a good way.
I went with a couple of friends (total 3) on a Monday, and was expecting a semi glamorous restaurant - instead it is a small B&B style of place that offered exceptional individual service, where the small menu is not to be understated. The food was WONDERFUL - perhaps not the cheapest, but I think the meat was worth every dollar. Would I go back = definitely yes!
The steaks and ribs were superb! The beef ribs were super tender, juicy and fell off the bone. The 400g rump steak was a solid feed and nicely cooked at medium rare. The bee battered chips were solid potatoes, the real thing!
Every Friday night until end July is steak, chips and salad for $23!!
A real hidden gem!! Go get it.
It is a really nice restaurant for birthday dinner. The staffs are really friendly and the food are outstanding, especially the steaks:) and the dessert is really interesting!
Must try restaurant in Glenny. Been to No.301 twice and my friends and i were very impressive by its food and good service.
Love the steak and duck confit, dessert was awesome, can't resist pandan & coconut fondan, a must try restaurant in Glenny
Small enviting space. Been a few times but not recently, Only ever been on the limited menu special nights. The pies are fantastic and loaded with filling, though i don't understand the paris mash thing, I'd quite prefer a nice dutch cream mash rather than the runny paris mash. Have tried all the steam bun flavors and all very good. Also had the top quality steak, and at first i was not too impressed with how it looked, quite long and not to much colour, but after first bite it rates highly in the best steaks I have had, salad and chips is not too exciting however.
NO good signage from the street or even the glass door as you go in, service has been good, staff very keen to please.
Lacks Identity, always going to have lone travelers for dinner given he environment,
Monday Pie Night $16. Love it, i am a pie lover, this is one of the best pie I ever tasted. Highly recommended! This is veggie pie, will try beef pie next time could not wait to try!
Delicious fine dining in a relaxed dining atmosphere. The pork was absolutely magnificent. Head chef previously worked at Crown Tower and it showed. A pleasant surprise, particularly considering the affordability!
Very nice meal and cimfirtable environment. We ordered Seafood Bowl and vegable as entree. superised all fish scllopes and seabugs are very tender, and i can see the only thing they seasin if a bit if olive oil. The vegatable looks just beautiful, of course tasts very good as will, quite interesting, a deep fried cheese stick in the middle of the veges makes the bowl of steam veges not boring at all. .In short, worth coming back to try the rest of the menu.
Beautiful food, reasonable price. Highly recommend the pork belly steam bun and wagyu steak. Superb dining experience.
Confit Duck Legs. Marinated 2 hours then slow cook for another 2 hours, it is full of taste with its nature fat and herbs
